With no company,
I do not feel lonely.
With no help,
I am alone.

👀Spotted 👀
Our very own Stewart Island salesperson Jeanette had the pleasure of being on a quiz team with Rhys Darby & David Hasselhoff at the (now) world famous Stewy Is South Sea Hotel quiz night. Bet that was an entertaining night!
Their visit sure has the South in a bit of a buzz. 🤩🤩

Rakiura - Stewart Island
This island is my anchor
Where trees echo the stories of the land
And rangers laugh and dance and sing
Unleashing the wild child within.
This island is my anchor
Where I will sing with friends until
the fires burn out
And the sky grows dark
Then the eyes of the universe
Will illuminate the path
Guiding the way for tired girls
Safely back to their cabins
And to their beds where
They will rest their tired bones
Prepared for another day.

Not sure if we posted this here yet -- we may have, but here's a non fandom treat for you.
Capsekai rips of our own. content!
Foveaux Strait travel on the Ferry.
Zip files here in this folder
Content restrictions on this one: None! if you're into AI you can use these to your hearts content. While we DID take the videos that we screencapped/ripped from a travel we did in 2018 -- we're not laying copyright claim to it, because it's just window based video lol - we didn't go out on the deck much.

(22/04/2023).
Acker’s Cottage. The first building on Stewart Island/Rakiura and is one of the oldest buildings in the southern part of New Zealand. Built by Captain Lewis Acker, an American Whaler, in 1834-1835. He bought the land (Acker’s Point) from Māori Chief Tuhawaiki.
Stewart Island has a fascinating history and is a surreal place to visit. I cannot wait to visit again :)
Inside the cottage:

Looking out from within:

Outside the cottage:

Captain Acker definitely chose a beautiful spot.
