Okay so...Laika is vidas dog, and I noticed Laika wears a galaxy-themed bandana around her neck, I'm wondering if this is a reference to the space dog Laika? If it is that is so adorable 😭😭 this honestly popped in my head and I can't get it out now-

It's very subtle but I meant it as a way to show Vida's fascination with space. I never answered what their major was, but I think they would've gone on to study astronomy.

Also their frisbee was based off this image from the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) telescope. I just thought it was a neat pattern and slapped it on. Plus,,,, ALMA.

Empire Day and Ezra Bridger

"...because today is Empire Day, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the galaxy's salvation, when our great Emperor Palpatine ended the Clone Wars and founded our glorious Empire."

Ezra Bridger was born just after Ahsoka helped Mandalore gain its freedom from Maul.

It's worth noting that Ezra was born the exact same day the Jedi purge happened. He was born with the Empire. He was born the moment it was no longer safe to be Force sensitive. He was born during Order 66 while Kanan witnessed his master's execution and ran for his life, while Rex and Ahsoka were fighting for their lives, while Jedi around the galaxy were being executed for a crime they did not commit.

Ezra Bridger is a gift from the Force. He's a Force prodigy.

Because it's Ezra who ends the Clone Wars, a Jedi who was able to negotiate an alliance between the clones (Rex) and the droids (Kalani). He solved the puzzle that the Jedi had been unable to solve during the war and got them to fight together against the Empire just once.

And it's Ezra Bridger who forces Grand Admiral Thrawn into exile in a completely different galaxy far, far away. Grand Admiral Thrawn is heir to the Empire and one of Palpatine's most trusted allies.

Ezra Bridger was able to do the one thing Anakin Skywalker couldn't. He put the rest of the galaxy above his own feelings. Palpatine believed Ezra would fall for the same trap that Anakin did.

Ezra Bridger was literally born to be a thorn in Palpatine's (and the Empire's) side, even managing to sneak his way back home on Thrawn's star destroyer to continue thwarting Thrawn's plans.

Mace Windu is probably very proud of his great-grand-padawan. His lineage is so competent and well-balanced.

Meanwhile the Disaster Lineage is currently stranded in that other galaxy far, far away.

I love Star Wars so much.

The On1y One Colors - Halfway Point

I'm really trying to stay quiet about the colors in The On1y One until the show ends, but others have started noticing (like @super-fan, @avorbl, and @small-dark-and-delicious), so I can't contain myself since I'm sitting on 62 pictures of color-coded door hangers, bathrooms, snacks, food containers, and so much more.

I want to offer up something else that is obvious that I haven't seen people mention yet since people have noticed the rooms,

phones,

lighting,

and clothing.

Because the school's colors are them as well.

And it's where they initially met (notice who is higher and who is lower).

One is light, and the other is dark. One is the sun, and one is the moon. One is warm, and one is cool.

And the school and house have emphasized them embracing the other.

The posters told us they will balance each other out as they interact.

So even if they are still who they are, we see them shift positions (and sometimes colors like the poster shows) from their initial moment at the school and house.

Which truly began when they became closer.

And the horoscope told us that:

Venus and Mars are in a 180-degree opposition creating a powerful and intense attraction. The impossible can be possible. Now let's go upside-down!

The probability of meeting each other was slim, yet the sun and moon meet each other twice a day.

Okay, lovelies. Remember when I said the good vibes you were sending me may have tipped the scales in my favor? Well, buckle in because I'm about to get personal. 😂❤️

Like many people out there, I have student loan debt. My hubby has student loan debt. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month. Not only do we have student loan debt with terrible interest rates, we also had medical bills and credit card debt to take care of unexpected emergencies over the last few years. It's stressful. Many of you understand.

My family has never had much and hasn't been able to help, which I don't expect them to. I work hard to do what I can. I still had 10 years to pay on my loans when I checked a month ago. 10 years. There has been no end in sight.

Until now.

After a lot of hard work and working with a financial advisor, we paid off our two major credit cards today. I am paying the remainder of my student loans in full tomorrow. And within the next year, the remainder of my husband's student loans will be paid in full. Not only that, we will have a true emergency savings account opened by the end of the year.

Lovelies, I sobbed. Full on sobbed. Ugly cried until my chest and head hurt. The stress of this debt has weighed on me and kept me up at night. I worried for my kids. I worried for myself. And now I can actually put some of this money toward both their future and mine. It's an amazing feeling.

Now, we're not out of the woods. 😂 My hubby still has that last student loan, along with a car payment and our mortgage. But, fuck, the weight is so much lighter and I feel like I can finally breathe. We needed this win.

Appreciate the good vibes, lovelies. I'm sending them back your way. I hope any weight you have weighing down on you is lifted. I hope you can breathe a bit easier.

I'm seeing a lot of kerfuffle today on Twitter about preferences in enjoying Sonic. Like... a lot. I want you all to know that no matter how you're introduced into the fandom, no matter the outlet and the age that you're here, you're still a Sonic fan to me. One should not be mocked for enjoying one interpretation more than the other. And one most certainly should not be bullied into liking a variation that not of preference.

You are absolutely free to love and enjoy the many flavors that the Sonic community has to offer. You are safe here to like what you love here. If anyone tells you that you have to like one version only because its "tHe SuPeRiOr SoNiC," then they're not someone that is worthy of your time. You are allowed to love Sonic in the form that is fit for you. ❤️✨
