Y’know sometimes i worry about the present too much and have a fuck ton of anxiety

So i fantasize about the future.

I fantasize about the day i go down to the local farmers market and negotiate with the sellers “hey my boyfriend loves birds and i love eggs so we have some chickens and get extra eggs, what are y’alls thoughts on a bit of a trade we get goin on?”

Maybe just settling in a small-ish town close enough to a city for fun activities like conventions but far enough away that its quiet and woodsy, maybe up in the mountains somewhere.

We have chickens and cats and pidgeons and the kicthen is mine and organized and everything is labeled and we have a garden with things we eat all the time like tomatos for soup and pasta sauce, an herb rock and maybe potatoes too! Stawberries for my boyfriend and maybe we share extra stuff with our neighbors or the crows, perhaps we even have a salt lick for the local deer

I talk to local ranchers and buy meat straight from the ranchers, buyin a whole cow and fillin up the deep freezer with all sorts of meal plans.

I’d be the meal maker of the household and i’d do it my way entirely where ya get fed what you want in just the right way.

Thinkin about knowin where my food comes from and walking through the market with my boyfriend buying things like local honey and produce while wearing a cowboy hat and just feelin real nice about life

Writing all this helps with the night anxiety and the thoughts that say that life aint great, because someday, that’ll be my future

I feel like the abbey has a few farm animals, like chickens, two cows, three goats, and two sheep. So most of these include some farm animals.

My headcanons for Luca and Merla (with Team Voltron)

* Merla can't stand coffe. The only way for her to drink it is if there's a lot of sugar and cream added in to kill the bitter taste.

* Luca hates the taste, but can drink several cups of coffe because she likes the energy it gives her. Add sugar and cream and she will spend most hours of the day (all 24 hours, depending on how many cups it was) unable to stand still and running around in the training area until she eventually passes out for a few moments.

...

* They both love spending time with the Paladins's families.

* Merla adores the younger kids and loves playing with them.

* Luca likes the feeling of being treated like a younger sister by the older siblings, since she grew up an only child. She also enjoys the company of the parents, getting emotional whenever they tell her that she is welcome to stay there anytime she wants/needs to.

Add in Romelle:

* Hunk's younger siblings called Romelle "Big sister" once and Romelle started crying, unable to stop hugging them for the rest of the day.

* Luca's favorite Earth dish is pasta. She especially likes spaghetti.

* Merla loves stawberries.

...

* Luca feels attracted to all genders, but has a preference for guys.

* Merla is bisexual.

* Merla and Lance becomes really close friends.

* While Merla usually is calm and behaves, she does let loose the more she hangs out with Lance and the others.

* Lance calls Merla his "Bi Buddy".

* Both of them have to play the role of being the voice-of-reason to their impulsive, kind of hotheaded friends.

* Luca is competitive and has a small rivalry with Acxa after the half Galra kept an eye on her during her first weeks of being allowed to walk around freely in the Atlas which made Luca feel annoyed at her.

Luca started to silently challenge Acxa during training and Acxa was more than ready to meet her in "battle".

They do get along now, although they keep on competing with each other, especially for Keith's attention (even if platonicly).

* Luca screamed in actual terror when she saw Lance milk Kalteneckter.

She still drinks the milkshakes Hunk makes (after a long explanation about cows and continued reassurance that what happened was completely natural) but she often stares at it for a few minutes, as though her view on life has changed, before taking the straw into her mouth.
