#oh the ideal life of bein a bit country but with the influence of tech

Y’know sometimes i worry about the present too much and have a fuck ton of anxiety

So i fantasize about the future.

I fantasize about the day i go down to the local farmers market and negotiate with the sellers “hey my boyfriend loves birds and i love eggs so we have some chickens and get extra eggs, what are y’alls thoughts on a bit of a trade we get goin on?”

Maybe just settling in a small-ish town close enough to a city for fun activities like conventions but far enough away that its quiet and woodsy, maybe up in the mountains somewhere.

We have chickens and cats and pidgeons and the kicthen is mine and organized and everything is labeled and we have a garden with things we eat all the time like tomatos for soup and pasta sauce, an herb rock and maybe potatoes too! Stawberries for my boyfriend and maybe we share extra stuff with our neighbors or the crows, perhaps we even have a salt lick for the local deer

I talk to local ranchers and buy meat straight from the ranchers, buyin a whole cow and fillin up the deep freezer with all sorts of meal plans.

I’d be the meal maker of the household and i’d do it my way entirely where ya get fed what you want in just the right way.

Thinkin about knowin where my food comes from and walking through the market with my boyfriend buying things like local honey and produce while wearing a cowboy hat and just feelin real nice about life

Writing all this helps with the night anxiety and the thoughts that say that life aint great, because someday, that’ll be my future
