I really hope manga artists and ppl who work on anime start protesting because the conditions they’re forced to work under are terrifying, especially considering the MASSIVE amount of anime content that’s been being shit out these past few years. the stories of huge companies with high budgets having to hire amateur animators from twitter, the mass production of samey, bland stories and merch that everyone will forget exists two years later. Terrifying shit like stories of people just collapsing and dying at their desks, the stories of mangaka having no free time and not being able even meet with their own children, no breaks to eat or sleep, no living, having your dreams turned into a nightmare. The sad thing is that I know if these protests happens people are gonna be bitching about it, like we haven’t been absolutely spoiled enough already. Like dude just go back and watch the 5 anime that came out last season that were genuinely good, but you missed, because you were watching 3 other new ones at the same time. I would love for protests to break out, I’m actively hoping for them. I would gladly watch no new anime or manga come out for as long as it takes for these people to get good working conditions that don’t require them throwing away their lives.
#‘anime just isn’t as good anymore’#yeah because anybody and everybody working on anime and manga#is actually#literally#having the life squeezed out of them#the two that alway stick with me#are kentaro miura literally just collapsing and dying from exhaustion#and Yana Toboso being forced by her company to continue making black butler chapters#at an absolutely insane pace#even after her own mother fucking died#I don’t know how these people don’t grow to hate their own stories just because they’re sick of staring at them while suffering#like Yana still seems to love creating and working#and if I went through what she did you would never see my ass in the industry ever again#she wasn’t even allowed to visit her family after mother died!! she had to work!!!#anime#manga#opinion#btw I just listed a bunch of these things in a random order#not implying that they’re all on the same level#obviously having to hire people from twitter is not as bad as literally dying from exhaustion#just trying to point out how much of a mess the entire industry is rn#anyways I’ve been taking more to piracy lately#sometimes I hear things and just can’t bring myself to support stuff like shonen jump

Ortho vs a Teenage Girl and a 5-year-old Prince
Summary: When Ortho's hard work of trying to set up the Prefect with his brother is about to go down the drain by two kids. Disaster ensues! initial post
Notes: This is my first time writng for Twisted Wonderland so I hope that you enjoy! I used Yuu but this can be read as a x Reader too! Yuu/reader is a female!
Word Count: 4835
Disclaimer: I do not own Twisted Wonderland and its characters. Those belong to Aniplex, Walt Disney Japan, and Yana Toboso.
Warnings: possible ooc characters, not beta read, slight book 6 spoilers, references to the yasamina and sunset savanna events, irl references, Lilia wanting to be a grandpa, and some alcohol mentioned (Papa Crewel drinking wine)
Edit 7/31: sequel announcement post here! Now with Lilia vs Eric Venue, Marja, and Dylla!!
Family Day is the one day in Night Raven College when families are invited to tour the campus or visit their loved ones. The event itself was big since most students come from well-off families. However, sometimes some parents were too busy to show up, which was okay. One example is Idia and Ortho's parents. Both siblings didn't mind them not showing up. Idia preferred playing video games in his room but not Ortho. Ortho had a different plan involving the Ramshackle Prefect, Yuu. The Prefect has to be the toughest girl Ortho has ever met. Ortho has never met a girl who can defeat six overblots (one of them was his brother), wrangle a cat monster, and deal with Crowley's (bs) demanding jobs.
Now Ortho was not dumb. He might be more human-like, but he could sense how much his brother's heart races when the Prefect talks to him or how his hair turns slightly pink when they play video games together. Ortho thinks Idia's feelings towards the Prefect grew after she and a few others broke into the Island of Woe to save their friends. Sadly, Idia has never acted on his feelings and prefers to stay on the sidelines and admire Yuu from afar.
On the other hand, Ortho was not having it. He can see just how happy his brother is around Yuu. Plus, Ortho would gladly accept her as his sister-in-law. It's like hitting two birds with one stone!
Ortho made it his mission to mention his brother whenever he hung out with the Prefect. It can range from "Big Brother made a new invention" or "Big Brother wants to play a new game with you!" If Ortho can have some of Idia's friends play video games with him, he can surely set Yuu up with his brother.
Of course, the Fates must have heard him and introduced two rivals during the school's annual Family Day.
Who are his rivals? A teenage girl and a 5-year-old prince.
---
Rival 1: Najma Viper
Ortho hummed as he glided down the hall of different families, searching for the Prefect. Luckily he had the whole day to put his plan in motion since his parents could not attend today's event, and Idia stayed in his room. According to Ace, who took Grim so they could prank his older brother, Yuu was handling different errands assigned by Crowley for Family Day. What would be the perfect way to spend Family Day with a (potential) sister by helping her and inviting her over to hang out with his Big Brother?
Ortho turned around a corner but stopped when he saw the Prefect occupied with a young girl. He moved closer to get a better look.
"Jamil is very talented. He is smart, can cook, sing, and is a great dancer! You should see how happy he gets when he dances. He is the perfect guy!" The girl exclaimed with excitement in her eyes.
Ortho froze. Jamil? The perfect guy? What in the Twisted Wonderland was going on here? He had a bad feeling about this.
"He would be a great boyfriend for you. You should've seen how he kept staring at you when you visited the Scalding Sands," the girl adds, causing Yuu to blush.
Ortho felt as if Tartarus froze over. "NO!" He suddenly yelled and flew out of his hiding spot.
Yuu and the other girl turn to Ortho.
"No?"
"I mean, no way! Jamil is so cool!" Ortho said in an attempt to save himself. Yuu and the girl both smile, causing Ortho to kick himself internally. He should be hyping his brother up, not Jamil! Ortho turned to the other girl. "I'm sorry. Let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Ortho Shroud, a first-year, and Yuu's friend," he extended a hand to her.
The girl shook his hand and had a pleasant smile on her face. "Hi Ortho, I'm Jamil's sister, Najma." Najma seemed kind, but Ortho was not buying it. If Ortho knew anything about Jamil, Najma must be good at hiding her true feelings. "Say, Ortho, since you seem to know my brother, would you agree that he is talented?"
"I guess I can agree with you there," Ortho said while reflecting on Jamil's performance at the VDC.
Najma's eyes furrow slightly, "You guess?" She turned to Yuu, "What do you think, Yuu? Don't you think that he is talented? Or handsome? Or both?" she smirked.
Yuu hesitantly laughed, "Well-" her eyes scanned the hall until she spotted a familiar mop of white hair. "Kalim!"
Kalim turned to the trio and smiled brightly, "Yuu! Najma! Ortho! What are you all doing here?"
"Just catching up," Najma replied instantly and turned to Kalim with a devious look, "Say, Kalim, what do you think are my brother's best features?
Kalim hummed in thought before responding. "Well, he is a good dancer, can cook, and is very strong! He once told me he is as strong as ten men!"
"Whoa," Yuu replied with awe, and Najma smiled proudly.
"Give Big Brother a day, and he can be stronger than one hundred men with an invention," Ortho muttered. The others were too busy to notice Ortho float off to search for his brother. Jamil may be talented, but his Big Brother is that and more! He had to drag him out of his room first to show it.
Ortho was at the Mirror Chamber when he noticed someone enter from Scarabia's door. He saw the frantic look on Jamil's face and made his way to him.
"Jamil! How are you?'
"Fine," the boy replied, searching the room for something or someone.
"Are you looking for someone?" Ortho asked and innocently tilted his head to the side.
"In fact, yes. I'm looking for Kalim and my little sister, Najma. She looks a little bit like me but shorter."
"Oh, that was your sister! I saw her with Kalim earlier! They were talking to Yuu, nearby one of the first-year classrooms. I can lead the way for you if you want." Vil would be proud of his acting skills if he could see him now.
"Great Sevens, those two," Jamil sighed out of relief. "Please."
The two trek through the school with Orthro leading. Jamil could not see the glee in the boy's eyes. If he removed Najma from the picture, he could have Yuu all to himself and use the time to praise his Big Brother! Ortho mentally high-fives himself for the genius plan.
"Jamil is also really good at basketball. You should have seen when he made the winning shot against RSA," Kalim's voice echoed, causing Jamil to walk faster.
"NAJMA! KALIM!" Jamil called out once they were in his sight. "Stop annoying the Prefect. We need to get back to Scarabia for the party."
Najma's face lights up with an idea, "We can invite Yuu!"
Jamil rolled his eyes and grabbed the two by the back of their shirts, "No, this party is for both our parents and Kalim's siblings. We will be late if we do not leave right now." Jamil stopped his scolding and turned to Yuu. "I'm so sorry about them, Prefect. I don't want them to interrupt your day."
Yuu laughed, "It's alright. They were telling me some things about you."
Jamil's eyes widen in horror, "WHAT?"
"I didn't know you once faced a hundred bad guys with swords before."
Jamil turned to the duo in his hands, then Yuu, then back at them again. His face became red as Riddle's hair as the seconds passed, "We are leaving!"
"But Jamil!" Kalim and Najma whine.
"NO BUTS! We are leaving before you feed Yuu more lies," He dragged the two down the hall and back to Scarabia.
"None of that were lies though!" Kalim's voice echoed.
"I've see the way you look at her and it is sad to watch. You needed the help anyway!" Najma added.
"No, I don't!" Jamil replied. The trio's voices became quieter until they were out of sight.
Ortho and Yuu stood in silence. After some time passed, Ortho glanced over at Yuu.
"Big Sister, based on the changes in your heart, I can tell you are feeling sad. Is something wrong?" Ortho asked and noticed the sad look on the Prefect's face. The Prefect's eyes widen from getting caught.
"Yeah. It's just…watching Jamil and Najma interact reminds me of my younger siblings back home. Sometimes I feel lonely watching everyone interact with their families."
"How many siblings do you have?'
"A younger brother and a younger sister. You know, Ortho, you remind me of my little brother." Yuu smiled and ruffled Ortho's hair. Ortho's eyes became bright with joy.
"Thank you, Big Sister. You might feel lonely now, but most people here consider you family. For example, Ace and Deuce."
Yuu laughed, the corners of her mouth turning upward slightly. "They are like brothers to me, always getting into trouble but loveable at the same time."
"See!"
"I can't forget the Ramshackle ghosts, the rest of the Heartslabyul guys, and the professors!"
"Yeah, so you may miss your family sad, but you still have people around you who consider you their own. You won't be lonely until Crowley finds you a way home!"
Yuu smiled, "You're right, Ortho. Come here." she opened her arms to him in a hug that Ortho immediately flew to. "Thank you, Ortho, for cheering me up." She lets go of the boy and looks around the hallway. "By the way, where is Idia? I haven't seen him all day."
"Oh!" Ortho replied, unaware of the pitter-patter of the child's feet getting louder and louder. "He wanted me to tell you about the new Star Rogue game that just came out. Big Brother wants you to"
"Auntie Yuu!"
----
Rival 2: Cheka Kingscholar
Ortho wished that kicking a 5-year-old kid across the island would not be a high-risk thing to do. His parents had already dealt with the damage caused by him and his big brother on the Island of Woe. The last thing his parents need is to deal with the royal family of Sunset Savanna.
Still, Ortho has got to be one of the few people who can say one of his rivals is a kindergartener. A child, for crying out loud! An annoying child who has been clinging to the Prefect, talking her ear off about how great his Unca Leona is, and is using his big brown eyes (that reminded Ortho of the toddler's eyes from a popular babysitter's anime Idia loves) to increase his cuteness by 100%.
"Give me five seconds, and I can increase my cuteness by 1000%. Big Brother recently installed a program to do that," Ortho muttered to himself while glaring at the newest addition to the group. He could use that feature to his advantage. Still, the child will not give him the opportunity by choosing to wrap himself around her waist and staying there like a koala.
"Cheka! What are you doing here, and where are your attendants? Yuu frantically asked and looked around for them. The last thing she wanted to do was get on the royal family's bad side.
"I couldn't wait to see you, Auntie, so I left them all behind! Hee hee!"
Yuu's mouth opened from shock. "we need to find them right away!"
Cheka didn't share the same feelings as Yuu and instead just laughed it off, "We could find Unca instead. Did you know that he is very cool and strong? He has so many friends that we all played together once. He even made me fly!"
Yuu could only respond in a confused tone. Ortho felt his patience run thin from the young prince.
"I'm sorry, Prince Cheka, but Yuu is busy right now." Ortho tried to pry the cub off Yuu, but Cheka refused to let go. He could try to use more force, but it can lead to a torn uniform and an unhappy Professor Crewel.
Ortho's words fly past Cheka's ears, "Not now! This is an emergency!" the young prince turned and glared at Ortho.
Oh, he is going down! Give him a few seconds, and he could blast the child out of existence!
"An emergency?" Yuu asked, unaware of Ortho's hair looking Idia's when he gets angry.
"You must marry my Unca because he loves you and wants to be with you forever!"
Yuu laughed and moved her arms around to carry Cheka, "Did your Uncle tell you that?" she asked while imaging the grumpy lion down on one knee and asking her to marry him.
Cheka nodded his head so fast. "Of course! He wants you to be his princess! If you marry him, then you can be my Auntie. Then we can all spend each day playing!"
Ortho, who was starting to get annoyed, immediately butted in, "Big Sister! If you do that, then your other family will miss you! Big Brother will miss you too!"
Cheka glared at Ortho again. He turned to Yuu and increased his cuteness by pouting his lips, "Unca Leona loves you, Auntie! He can die from heartbreak if you're not with him!"
Ortho rolled his eyes, "Your uncle won't die."
"You don't know that! You're the only one who can make him happy! Auntie, Unca Leona is so sad without you! We can't let Unca cry!"
Yuu hesitantly laughed, "I'm pretty sure your Uncle has other things that make him happy."
"But would you consider marrying him to make him happier?" Cheka asks, his eyes glistening with tears. Ortho rolled his eyes again.
"I think we are too young to get married?"
"In the future, then?"
Ortho had enough. "That's it! Prince Cheka, Big Sister is busy right now, and she needs to go." He flew over and grabbed one of Yuu's arms to pull her away.
Cheka leaped out of Yuu's remaining arm and grabbed it to pull, "No, she is going with me!"
"No, she needs to see my big brother!" pull.
"No, she must see my Unca! He will cry if he never sees her." pull.
"He. Will. Not. Die!" pull.
"Well, I bet my Unca is cooler than your brother. He can drive his car through land and sea*!" pull.
"Oh yeah? Well, my brother can take apart a blastcycle, customize it with a functional value, AND drive it!" pull.
"Oh yeah? My brother can fly a flying carpet! That takes a lot of skill to master." Najma added, materializing out of nowhere after she escaped from her brother. She pulled Ortho and Cheka's hands off of Yuu and glared at them.
Ortho groaned, "Not you again!"
The three began to argue about which of their family members was better and left Yuu off to the side.
Yuu's arms were now sore from all the pulling, and she could feel a headache forming. Despite this, Yuu could not stop a small smile from forming on her face. She blinked once and saw her younger siblings arguing instead of her friends. The argument was both cute and an annoying thing to watch.
"ENOUGH!" Yuu yelled, causing everyone to stop arguing. "You all need to stop arguing because it is not helping me pick a side."
"Exactly. You three are causing a ruckus on school grounds," A stern voice added. Everyone turned around to find Professor Crewel glaring at them. Najma and Cheka tremble from the professor's gaze. "You pups need to apologize to Yuu for the incoming headache and disrupting the school."
Ortho, Najma, and Cheka give each other a look and nod, "We're sorry, Big Sister/Yuu/Auntie."
Yuu smiled, kneeled, and opened her arms for a hug. "I forgive you," she says, and the three children join in on the group hug. Crewel smiled at the sight before clearing his throat to get their attention.
"Yuu, can you help me sort the potions in my office?" He asked and tapped his pointer three times against his palm.
"Of course," she stood up. "You three be good now," Yuu ruffled the children's hair and headed towards Crewel's office.
Crewel turned towards Ortho, "Shroud. I want you to bring these two back to their respective dorms. You can help guide them back."
Ortho sighed, "Yes sir," he replied, looked at the other two, and flew off towards the Mirror Chamber. "My brother is the coolest, though," he whispered to himself, but Cheka, having enhanced hearing, heard it all.
"My Unca is cooler plus 100."
Najma rolled her eyes, "You mean times 100? Anyways, my brother is cooler times 1000."
The three could not help the laugh escaping their lips. They will cease fire for now. The winner can be chosen another day.
----
"-uu. Yuu." Crewel called out and shook Yuu's body to wake her up.
Yuu groaned but opened her eyes to the bright light of Crewel's office. Her body was on his red leather couch, Grim snuggled beside her, and his thick coat acted as her blanket.
"You need to wake up. The sun has already set, and I want you to get some sleep tonight," Crewel said softly and stood up to walk to his desk. The campus sounded quiet except for the crickets chirping outside.
Ah, so Family Day is over.
"When did Grim show up?" Yuu asks through a yawn. She sits up, picks up Grim, and places him on her lap.
"About an hour ago. He was already knocked out when Trappola brought him here," Crewel picked up a neatly wrapped box on his desk and walked back to the Prefect. "These are for you." Yuu grabbed the box and immediately opened it. Inside was an assortment of cookies and chocolates that looked too expensive for Yuu. "Since your actual family is not here for Family Day, I wanted to give you this to celebrate it. Feel free to share it with your friends,"
Yuu could feel tears forming. She used to feel alone after she crashed the entrance ceremony, but not anymore. Yuu now has people who love her despite the possibility of her leaving. She appreciates all he does as someone she views as a father figure in Twisted Wonderland. Crewel's gift may not be as grand as her whole family showing up, but the small things count.
"Thank you so much," she placed Grim and the gift down and stood up to hug the man.
Crewel smiled, "You're welcome, Yuu." he pulled away. "Now get some rest, or else you might give the Pomefiore students a heart attack if you show up with eyebags."
Yuu laughed, "Of course," she grabbed Grim, the box, and headed out the door. Yuu smiled at her memories from today as she walked back to Ramshackle. She enjoyed reuniting with Najma and Cheka despite their arguing with Ortho over who she should hang out with.
Why were they so persistent about it? Yuu thought to herself when it suddenly hit her.
"I forgot about Idia!" Yuu exclaimed. Her movement caused Grim to mumble something in his sleep. Yuu tucked Grim over her shoulder and ran toward the Mirror Chamber when she saw the guy in question heading her way.
"Idia!" Yuu called out with glee. It had been a long day for her, so seeing him made her smile. "Where have you been all day? I wanted to hang out with you."
Idia blushed and started sweating, "Y-you did? I was in my room since my parents did not show up today. I was actuallywaitingonyousowecouldplaythisnewgametogether." Idia mumbled the last part so fast that Yuu could not understand it.
"I'm sorry. I missed the last part?"
"I said I was waiting for you to play the new Star Rogue together. I asked Ortho to get you, but he returned without you."
Yuu laughed nervously, "Ah, that. Yeah, a lot of stuff happened, and Ortho was busy." She replied, unaware of Idia's increasing heartbeat caused by the Prefect's adorable laugh.
Idia imagined there was a meter beside him, and it kept growing every time the Prefect did something cute (read: that is a lot of things). There's a limit that could cause it to explode.
Idia avoided Yuu's stare by looking at the fancy box in the girl's hands. His eyes lit up in excitement. "Where did you get the sweets from?"
Yuu smiled. "Professor Crewel!" Saying his name made his earlier words replay in her mind. Suddenly, her face lit up like she had an idea. "Hey, Idia. Why don't you and Ortho come over to Rhamshakle for a sleepover? We can play Star Rogue and eat these sweets together."
Cue the meter beside Idia, exploding into a million pieces. Now Idia was red, frozen, and unsure about what to do.
Yuu waved a hand across Idia's face. "Hey, are you okay?"
"YES!" Idia squeaked out and cleared his throat. "I mean, yeah. I don't mind having a sleepover at Ramshackle tonight."
Yuu squealed from excitement. "Yay!" She jumped with glee. Suddenly, she tucked the candy box under one arm, used her other arm to grab Idia's shoulder, and tiptoed to kiss his cheek.
Idia.exe has stopped working. Oh yeah, Idia was VERY red now, and his hair turned a bright shade of pink.
Is this how the MC feels when they get kissed by a love interest? Idia thought to himself like he was in an otome game. He could see the intimacy meter between him and Yuu go up.
"I'm so excited! I will go ahead and set up the lounge. You can grab Ortho and whatever else we need for the sleepover. We can meet up in my dorm after we get everything."
"S-s-sounds good," Idia gave a tiny thumbs up, which was the best he could do then.
"See you then!" Yuu called out and headed back towards Ramshackle with a pep in her step. Once Yuu was out of sight, Idia pulled out his tablet to connect to Ortho.
"Hello, Big Brother! Do you need something?"
Idia could not articulate anything. First, his crush invited him to her dorm, and then she kissed him. The Prefecf actually KISSED HIM on the cheek.
"THEPREFECTKISSEDME!!"
"What? Did you say that Big Sister kissed you?"
"Just on the cheek, but it still counts! The UR character actually took an interest in boring old me! Ortho, I need you to get things for our sleepover with the Prefect…."
Ortho chose to not listen to his brother rambling. All he could hear was that he was victorious.
"Oh, Big Brother," Ortho smiled after Idia was done. "I am so happy for you."
Score: Ortho: +1, Najma: 0, Cheka: 0
----
Earlier in Savanaclaw:
"UNCA!!!!" Cheka yelled as he barged into Leona's room, left the door open, and pounced on Leona's stomach. Leona let out an 'oof' and glared at his nephew. He sat up, let his blankets fall, and allowed Cheka to sit on his lap.
"Why are you in my room? You're interrupting my nap."
"You need to marry Yuu, or you could die!" Cheka exclaimed while jumping on Leona's body.
Leona rolled his eyes, "I will not die, kid."
Cheka stopped jumping and leaned toward Leona's face, "You don't know that, so you need my help to impress her!"
Leona pushed Cheka's face away, "Look, furball, I do not need any help to impress Yuu. She can take one look at me and realize that is all she needs." Leona was too prideful to say it aloud, but he grew to like the herbivore. Has she been clueless to him affections her? Yes but he refuses to ask his nephew, of all people, for help.
Cheka blinked and stared at his uncle's face, "You need more than that, Unca!"
Leona groaned in annoyance. Cheka was too stubborn not to give up, and Leona was tired. Leona contemplated his next step when he heard familiar footsteps approaching his door.
Ah, it is about time for Ruggie to come to pick up his laundry.
"Hey, Leona! You better have your laundry somewhat neat." His voice called out, slowly getting louder as he got closer.
Leona grabbed the back of Cheka's shirt, "Hey Cheka, I'll let you help me if we play a game first."
Cheka's eyes lite up in glee, "Oh! What game?"
As Ruggie walked into Leona's doorway, Leona picked up Cheka and threw him at Ruggie's face.
"What the" Ruggie exclaimed and managed to catch the laughing Cheka. Leona quickly jumped up and walked to his balcony.
"I'll leave him to you. Don't go looking for me." Leona called back.
"Hey!" Ruggie runs after him, but it is too late. Leona already jumped off and gracefully landed on the ground. He walked out, leaving Ruggie and Cheka alone in the dorm room.
Cheka turned to Ruggie with a bright grin, "Let's do it again!"
Ruggie could only sigh. This will be a long day.
Bonus:
"Father, when you said there was an emergency, I did not think makeup would be the reason." Silver's legs started to feel numb as Lilia rubbed some eyeshadow on his eyelids. Earlier, Lilia was adding different makeup powders to the boy's face, so he had to resist the urge to sneeze.
"Hush, Silver! Master Lilia requires us to sit here for hours getting for…what is it for actually?" Sebek's face contoured in confusion despite his eyes being closed for his eyeshadow.
"Fufufu the Prefect needs to be starstruck by your looks that she will say yes if either of you asks for her hand in marriage."
"MARRIAGE?!" Silver and Sebek exclaimed at the same time, their eyes opening wide. Sebek's scream caused some of the photos on Malleus' wall to shake.
"Hush, you two. You will ruin the hard work I spent hours on." Lilia replied and threw some glitter at his son's faces as a finishing touch. Malleus opened his eyes and glanced at Lilia.
"I understand why you want to dress up and use makeup to impress the Child of Man, but are three people required for this?"
"Of course! The more people, the better, and I need only one of you to succeed. Now look at yourselves." Lilia stepped away so the trio could look at themselves in the mirror. "Do you or do you not feel bonita?"
The trio gave each other a confused look. None of them heard of that word before. Lilia may have picked up some of Rook's weird language.
"We feel bonita?" They replied, sounding more like a question than a statement. Lilia clapped his hands together and smiled brightly. He heard about the multitude of people with similar goals as him. He needed to act fast, or else it would be too late. If there's one thing the fae learned from his gamer friend, Gloomurai, is that otome games have multiple suitors for the MC. From Lilia's perspective, throwing all three of his sons into the competition for Yuu's heart would lead to a good ending for him. Lilia finished his plan by walking over to the vanity and handing them all a ring box.
"Wonderful because you look bonita!" Despite his small stature, the man stood behind his sons and pushed them out the door. "Now go and woo the Prefect! Don't return until I see a ring on her finger and a promise of future grandchildren!" Lilia called out before slamming the door in their faces.
The trio stared silently at the door, trying to understand what had happened. Luckily, Malleus decided to break the awkward atmosphere.
"Now what?"
Additional Rivals: Malleus, Silver, and Sebek
---
Professor Crewel cannot believe he is saying this, but he understands Professor Trein's stress in raising children. Who knew that caring for (more like adopting) a magicless human would attract so many mutts to her? Crewel had to admit that his daughter was beautiful (thanks to his hard work), but couldn't it have been from someone who was not as horrible as them? The man could only count a few decent guys with one hand, but they were not enough for his pup. His pup deserved the best.
Crewel sat on his sofa and snacked some crackers topped with raisin butter. Earlier, he had to save his pup from a group of children using their secret code. Then, he saw the older Shroud boy speak to his daughter as she walked back to Ramshackle.
The man sighed. He opened his wine fridge to grab a bottle of red wine, a glass from the cabinet behind him, and poured himself a drink. Whoever his pup picks better be the right one for her. Until then, he will watch the lovesick mutts fight each other for her attention. Crewel swirled the red wine around and drank it all in one go. He could feel the stress already forming from the imaginary image of the mutts fighting on school property, Crowley barging into classrooms, and the overblots were already making a dent in the school's budget. Teenage boys and property damage would make it even worse.
Crewel eyed the bottle one more time before making a decision. He may need a stronger drink.

I would like to order Spider Cider with Cotton Candy(can this be like a moon x sun or listnerx yapper , Skully being the sun and reader being like the moon , sort of thing, meaning reader is quiet and intimidating but will listen to whatever he says) 🇳🇵 anon
you got it 🇳🇵anon
Order; Cotton Candy and a glass of spider cider
Notes; I do not own twisted wonderland, Skully or the reader,Skully and Twst belong to Disney as well as the brilliant mind of Yana Toboso, reader belongs to themselves, this is just my interpretation of how this would go with the character, reader isn't neccesarily Yuu but if you want to imagine they are you're welcome to, y/n, reader is you, reader made friends with the local cats since I said so, also pastels work as opposite
Warnings;fluff, implied bullying
Skully J. X scary pastel goth reader in:
🌑Two sides of the same coin🌕
It wasn't easy being you
For starters despite your short size and the soft pastel clothes you loved, you had a rather intimidating gaze that seemed to paralyze people with fear almost like they were afraid of setting you off, when they weren't frozen with fear they ran
the only ones who didn't would call you a freak and try everything to get you to speak but you didn't exactly humor them
It got kind of depressing but then again you did tend to keep to yourself in terms of speaking to others and preferred the company of animals and books
The cats in the area did ease your worries a bit while you would read, you could ignore the frightened stares and jeers at your expense
One day everything changed when HE showed up
Skully J. Graves, he was certainly handsome but he was also the only one who seemed to willingly approach you and ask what book you were reading at the time
You showed him it was a book on the traditions of Halloween
The boys eyes lit up as he began to talk your ear off about how great Hallows eve was including telling some facts not even you had found in your time of constantly being behind a book
You only listened and while he didn't see it you smiled
From that day on he would ramble to you about just about anything but his favorite thing of course was Halloween and it's traditions, you would listen to every word even if it took him a while to take a breath to stop
When he glanced at you you would quietly raise a thumbs up as if saying you liked what he told you about
You would sometimes show him the cats you made friends with including a pair that weren't too unlike you both
One that was very vocal with meows and the other that quietly purred when the loud cat was close to it
Skully would laugh and point out that they were just like you both with you nodding with your small smile as the cats curled up in your laps
You guys would get into plenty of shenanigans but you wouldn't change a thing
One day you decided to act upon your feelings for the tall boy wrote a letter with a poem attached to it describing the lovely feelings he would give you
You hid the note in his desk and went to the spot the note said to meet you at which happened to be the odd spiral hill at the edge of town
After a while you thought he wouldn't show up but you saw the tall young man walk up to you with a look of surprise
"Y/n, you wrote this?" He asked and you nodded in reply worried for the worst beneath your stoick gaze
Skully smiled at you before hugging you
"I feel the same way, i love you too" he spoke
You smiled closing your eyes and told him
"Thank you, Skully"

Faded Away
SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR BOOK 7 INCLUDED; THIS IS AN AU. THIS IS SIDE A OF A TWO PART STORY. HERE IS SIDE B.
This is side A.
Inspired by Fade Away by Riley Baron Summary: Childhood friends with Malleus, you were even supposed to marry him. You'd call him your fiancé, but he'd shoot you down with a smile. One day, Maleficia would announce that you would no longer be engaged to Malleus, but you had already decided to renounce that before, so it was okay. For Malleus, after experiencing loss in his life, everything he adored before began to fade away. Pronouns: Gender Neutral POV: 2nd Admin/Writer: Kai⚔️ Tags: Malleus Draconia, Changed fate, Childhood friends to lovers, lovers to strangers, angst with a sad ending, hurt no comfort Word count: 3,961
A/N: … sigh. If someone had told me a year ago that I would write nearly 4,000 words for Malleus Draconia angst, I would've laughed in their face. Despite that, I wrote this for two days and edited it for another two. I fixated on this man for FOUR DAYS nonstop, listening to playlists about falling in love with your comfort character but then saying goodbye, and I am still not done. I am genuinely proud of this work. Out of the 7 years I have been writing fanfiction, I have never been so happy to say this is one of my best works. And I don't really like Malleus like that. Attack me all y'all want, I know book 7 spoilers, and I was his stan(not simp) until I found out the truth and had to take a step BACK. I don't know what I feel about him now, but as a Silver girlie, I need someone to take the pen away from Yana Toboso.
Regardless of my feelings, I am glad I could write this and that the story turned out amazing. As I said, I'm not done, and I have another fic posting as soon as this one drops, so don't stray too far.
On that note, thank you for waiting and reading this long, longer than I would like to admit story. Enjoy.
The horns of this child were small, but the eyes of another child were fascinated at the sight of such a mature boy. The boy’s name was Malleus Draconia, the future King of Briar Valley. You were told that you would become his fiance when you grew up. You could feel your heart instantly pound and become fond of this young royal. You had already known him prior, growing up around the same time, and your families were somewhat close. Still, you couldn’t have imagined being able to marry him later down the line. He was aloof and neutral as a child, speaking to you when you would talk to him and only if he had a response. You loved him that way, anyway.
“You’re my… fiance?”
“I am! Don’t worry; I won’t go anywhere if it’s not with you!”
“Hmm… Then I can accept that.”
Growing up as teenagers was slightly different. It took some years, but he would begin to warm up to you. He would smile occasionally and accept the way you would call him “my fiance”, but still turn you down for the time being. Witnessing him become stressed caused a pang of guilt in your heart. Still, you’d quickly dissipate the feeling by messing around and seeing him feel better with your company.
“My fiance should be calm the way he usually is. How can his kingdom stay calm if he is not?”
Malleus would usually stare at you after you said things like that, then respond with, “You’re right… Alright. I will do that, but I’m not your fiance.”
Then, like clockwork, you’d laugh at him before responding, “Okay, okay, Prince Malleus. Whatever you say.”
Now, Malleus finally returned from studying at Night Raven College and settled back into his past routine. It took some months, since now there were new things he needed to learn before he could become king. He would follow without a complaint, though.
He was standing in a throne room, checking on documents and plans for the kingdom. You would simply trot in with your hands behind your back as you would often do, admiring him as your shoes would click against the floor.
“My fiance is working so hard already?” You teased, being playful and wanting to catch his attention.
“I’m not your fiance.” Malleus would say with a concentrated tone, his gruff voice echoing through the large room as the sound of documents being flipped echoed.
“Right. King Malleus.” You stopped walking to give him a bow and then approached his side. You moved your hand to cling to his arm, but knowing your behavior, he already had an arm out for you.
“Not king either. I haven’t had my coronation yet. Queen Malecifia is planning that as we speak,” Malleus spoke again, then set down the documents and turned to you, his hair slightly swaying with his movement. His green eyes stared down at you, and then he captured a slight smile on his lips. “What is it that you need from me?”
“Nothing. I just wanted to see you and waste your time. I truly hope I am a bother,” you spoke playfully and took one of the loose documents into your hands to read through it. Malleus quickly took the paper before you could get too far into reading it. Right. Kingdom affairs.
Malleus gives you a look before sighing and pulling a chair out. “If I let you touch my horns, could you let me work?” He spoke, moving to sit down beside where you were standing. You grew excited at the opportunity to play with his horns and instantly went quiet to do so. You stood behind him and carefully adjusted his hair while examining every detail of the feature in front of you.
The atmosphere was quiet yet peaceful. Time felt like it was still, pen scratching paper occasionally sounds through the large room. Your hands gently held his horns, caressing them to remind yourself of its sharp and enticing structure.
Memories of childhood played through your mind as you watched him read these documents, soft breaths coming from him as his focus never broke. You did this exact thing all the time with him, especially during his study hours.
“Why do you like my horns so much?” Malleus spoke, suddenly breaking the silence and surprising you out of your trance. You thought about it momentarily, trying to find the right words to explain it, but you couldn't find a single word for how. Instead, you explained it the best you could.
“Hmm… I don’t know. There’s something about seeing these horns that gives me some reassurance. Relief that I can still be your future beloved.” you answered before fixing his hair again. Messing with him like this felt right. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, being his future partner was something of fate. There were others out there with royal status just like you. Queen Maleficia could’ve replaced or sent you away, but she hadn’t. You were thankful every time you saw his grandmother.
“I see… You’re an odd one,” Malleus spoke softly, a faint breath being heard from him as he felt your hands let go of him. “You let go. Is something the matter?”
Malleus noticed you stayed quiet but didn’t hear you move either. So, he turned around, his breath catching at what he saw. His eyes were met with your side profile, your lips curling into a grin. Your eyes reflected the light like glass, and your hands fell to his shoulders.
“It’s the first snow of the season,” you said, mesmerized by the view. Your quiet voice showed just how enchanted you were. Malleus had an idea of how others felt about the first snow. All he took in from when you explained the moment to him was how special it could be for lovers.
Every time the first snow would fall, he’d watch from the window of his study how you admired the snowflakes as if you’d never seen them before. He watched you do this for years as if it was routine. Hell, it would be weird if he didn’t see you out there.
Malleus took your wrist and made his way out towards the courtyard. He’s the one taking you out there this time? You could only follow and keep your excitement at bay from his behavior.
Arriving outside, Malleus fixed your winter cape, ensuring you wouldn’t feel too cold. He leaned against a wall as you played and tried to catch the snowflakes. Your smile was as bright as the white sky, and he would just stand there, watching you without a word, but more as if he was in thought.
You noticed this and took a moment to gather some snow from the ground, putting it behind your back before moving towards him. “Are you alright? You seem to be lost in thought,” you asked, making him snap out of his trance to look at you.
“I’m fine. I’m simply reminded of my time at the college from seeing all this snow. Why do you a—”
Crunch.
He sighed, keeping his eyes closed before saying one thing. “... Why?’
Malleus was cut off by the impact of a snowball hitting his face. The icy crystals caused his skin to feel colder than it already was. He wiped the snow off his face as he witnessed you begin to back away. Every step back from you was a step forward for him, and you noticed how he had a straight-faced expression. You laughed nervously and grabbed his wrists, trying to hold him back.
“I just wanted to get your attention, Malleus!” You tried to explain, yelping when he would tower over you, but you would only find it all amusing. Malleus would chuckle, grabbing and throwing snow at you, not aiming for your face like you had done to him.
This went on for a few minutes, enjoying the back-and-forth attacks, while the snow piled onto the ground through the mid-winter day. At one point, Malleus would grab you by the waist to keep you from straying too far away from him. The gesture felt nice, but also intimate as he’d only do this to stop you from being clumsy.
You held onto his arms and stepped back slowly, moving towards a stone pillar, while your eyes didn’t leave him. You glanced between his eyes, lips, and the horns you loved seeing. Even after he held you against the cold stone, there wasn’t anything to worry about, but him.
You felt nervous while giving his arms a light squeeze, and he carefully brushed his cold fingertips against your cheek, making you relax with your head leaning into his slight touch. Soon, his hand cupped your cheek to tilt your head, keeping you in place this time.
Finally, your eyes stayed on his lips. His green eyes admired your features to remember them down to the last detail. Your mingled breaths hit each other’s faces from the close proximity, then Malleus leaned close, his lips inching closer to yours.
It was cut short, though. You turned to the sound of someone clearing their throat, but your body would stop what it was doing and let go of Malleus, instantly bowing at the sight of a familiar lady.
Malleus would turn around next. His breathing was slightly uneven from getting caught in the act, but he’d still bow and greet the woman in the courtyard with them.
“Queen Maleficia, what brings you out here during this weather?” Malleus began first, slowly coming up with you to stand correctly.
“It is good to see you, Queen Maleficia.” You followed after, giving Malleus’s grandmother a warm smile.
“Not much, my dear. I’m glad to see you taking a break,” Maleficia returned the greeting and gave a smile as well. She’d soon drop that expression, though. “I need to speak to you about something important.”
Your body would tense up again, and you took that as a cue to leave them alone, so you bowed and took a step forward. “I’ll leave you be, then—”
“You aren’t going anywhere. You are part of this too.” Maleficia spoke earnestly, and she rarely had to speak in such a way to you. The last time you heard those words was when she scolded you and Malleus for disappearing to Lilia’s home.
Those words always made you nervous, especially since they usually meant something was wrong. You could only turn around and smile again.
“Right. I apologize for my assumption, Your Majesty,” you said carefully, instantly seeing Malleus turn to you with a look of curiosity.
Standing before Queen Maleficia, now in her study, you held your hands as Malleus stood near the high bookshelves. His grandmother stared out of her window briefly before taking a breath.
“Malleus.” Queen Maleficia began to speak, turning around to face you and Malleus somberly. “Your coronation is being planned, as you know, but something must be done before you can become king. You know what that is, correct?”
Malleus grew confused, but his eyes would widen slightly once he understood. “Marriage. What of it?”
As soon as Malleus answered, the woman would look towards you and smile lightly. “That’s correct. What do you plan to do about that?”
You stare at Malleus briefly before looking at Maleficia again, then smile softly. “I do want to marry the prince. That has not changed since we were children.”
Maleficia looked away from you, and then she made her way to stand in front of you. “That, my child, is what I can no longer allow. I am sorry.”
Your eyes widened, and you saw Malleus perk up at the corner of your eye. He was shocked as well. “What…?” Is that the only thing you could say?
“What are you talking about?” Malleus sounded off. You couldn’t look at him. Your eyes would stay on the Queen before you, still in disbelief.
“This is the best course of action. Forgive me, my child.”
“Queen M—No. Grandmother, what in the world are you referring to? Answer me!” Malleus began to demand, moving you back and getting ahead of Maleficia.
“Malleus, believe me, this was not easy.”
“I did not ask if it was easy. I did not ask if you’ve thought of this for weeks or months. I asked for an explanation, grandmother,” Malleus spoke sternly, going against Maleficia, which he had not done before. Maleficia was growing angry, but she remained calm regardless.
“I am doing this for you, for the kingdom of Briar Valley; to end a war before it could begin. You will do your duty as the future ruler of this kingdom.”
“You think the kingdom can decide who will be my partner in marriage for the rest of my life? You did that when I was a child! I went along with it and accepted it the first time as it was!” Malleus also grew angry at the way the events were unfolding. He had accepted everything without complaint, but he couldn’t keep his mouth shut this time. This isn’t what he wanted.
“Now, Queen Maleficia, you wish to choose someone new? Someone I haven’t known my entire life and someone I cannot trust?”
“You will understand that as the future king. You do not need them as your fiance, and that is final. You will be marrying someone from another kingdom to stop us from going to war.” Maleficia had grown strict, firm even. Anyone else wouldn’t dare argue, not even you. You could only stay quiet from the words you were hearing. Your heart began to feel heavy from guilt as if it were a burden.
“What good will that do!? I do not need someone to help me run my life or the kingdom that will be under my wing some time from now!”
“I did it for you! I do not wish to see you become like your parents! You are my only grandson, and I lost your mother to war and the son, your father, I never had just before that. I raised you! Lilia and I were the ones who kept you alive. So, as your grandmother, I want you to keep yourself safe. Do this for yourself.” Maleficia was like a pleading mother. She needed Malleus to understand.
It was all so confusing to you. Malleus was trying to fight, but was it for you or him? Was it for his freedom? Did he love you? No. That couldn’t be it. You had to do something before he would do something drastic. You had to stop him before he could argue more.
Silence.
Your hand wrapped around his own. Malleus froze from the sudden touch. “It’s okay,” you began softly, putting on a smile before looking up at Malleus.
The touch reminded you of when you snuck into his study as a teenager. You felt stressed once due to your studies and responsibilities becoming a large pile, and Malleus would hold your hand to put you at ease. He helped you with your studies by tutoring and keeping you focused, but concentrating was still difficult with your distant lover just inches away from you during that time.
That short-lived memory was enough to make you agree to this. You loved him, but it was confusing. He was distant, but sometimes not. You loved him, but it was time.
“Hey, Malleus?”
“Hmm?”
“What would it be like if I was only your friend, but never your fiance?”
A young Malleus had to think about that, but only one answer came to his mind.
“I would’ve figured out how to become your fiance again.”
Back to the decision before you, you smiled more before looking at Maleficia and squeezing Malleus’ hand lightly.
“I understand, Queen Maleficia. I apologize for no longer meeting your expectations,” you said respectfully. Malleus stared down at you with wide eyes, his hand starting to squeeze yours while it was still in his grasp.
“Don’t say that. You don’t need to do that—”
You shook your head and looked at him, clenching your free hand around his arm to cling to him. “I… wanted to talk to you, anyway. I’d call you my fiance, but you always turned me down. You said you simply accepted the necessity of my obligation as your lover. Now that we have to say our goodbyes, it worked out fine, did it not? I won’t fuss about this decision, as I have no say in the kingdom’s political matters. So, I will simply wish you happiness and good fortune in your marriage, Prince Malleus.”
“What are you talking about? You don’t know a thing.” Malleus whispered and took both of your hands into his, trying to keep himself calm in the midst of all of the mess. “I only rejected you because I wanted to properly propose to you. Only at the right moment between us and—”
“Hey… you don’t have to say any of that. You don’t need to. This is your kingdom. I am simply someone who had to be your lover.” Those words hurt for you to say, and Malleus looked… scared for once. In the time that you’d ever known him, he was the only person you loved. Malleus couldn’t let go of your hand or look away from you. You would disappear, he felt. Hearing those words come out of your mouth was painful enough as is.
You could only give him a bitter smile and force him to let go. “It’s okay. You’ll be okay,” you whisper and bow to Maleficia, then to Malleus. “Thank you. If you’ll excuse me.”
You smile once more before swiftly leaving before anything else could happen. The longer you walked, the more your legs felt like jelly. You didn’t know where you were going, but you just wanted to leave. You wanted nothing more but to go back and take back your words. To fight for Malleus. Yet, you would never go against the crown.
Malleus simply stood there in disbelief with his eyes glued to the door. Maleficia reached out to her grandson, but as soon as her hand landed on his shoulder, he slapped it off. He looked at his grandmother with a look of nothing. Agony. A heart-wrenching anguish clouded his mind and judgment once you had left the room.
He didn’t want the touch of anyone else but you. How could he lose you so easily? His whole life, he had always gotten what he wanted. Yet, the one time he asked, begged, and pleaded for something in his life, it was stripped away right before his fingertips. Malleus’ body was on auto-pilot from the harsh reality. Then, he moved out of the study, but when he looked up, his body froze at the sight of you running out of the castle.
It was all his fault. He didn’t fight hard enough. Now, he had lost you. How could the Seven betray him so? He never thought that it would be so easy to leave him. To abandon the memories just because someone else requested it.
Once you felt the harsh wind and snow, your eyes began to water. Soon, your heavy breaths turned into heaving sobs. Before you knew it, you found yourself in the forest. How did you even get here? How far did your tired legs get you? What torture could you endure in this state? Then…
Every memory with Malleus started to flash through your head.
Every dance.
Every laugh.
Every touch.
Every look.
Everything.
Your heaving sobs became screams of heartbreak. Agonized cries echoed throughout the quiet and dark forest of Briar Valley. You couldn’t feel the cold anymore. The cold didn’t matter when it felt like you left a piece of yourself in the castle.
Malleus leaned against the wall from the window that he watched you disappear from, closing his eyes when he could hear your cries despite how far you actually were. He couldn’t do anything to fix it this time, not when you were convinced.
Meeting his new fiance was unbearable for Malleus, but he tolerated it. He never remembered any interaction he had with the woman he was supposed to marry now. The wedding was memorable for everyone but him, and you weren’t there. He knew you wouldn’t be there, but he would still smile to himself when he remembered things.
But then it wasn’t too long, maybe a couple of years, until the kingdom celebrated Malleus and his coronation. Everyone with royal status and Malleus' close friends were invited to the after-party celebration. You went alone and stood on the balcony outside, listening to everyone enjoy their festivities. You hadn’t heard about Malleus since you last stepped foot here. It felt like forever ago.
“I didn’t think you would show up. Not after what happened the last time.”
The familiar voice made you perk up and turn around, seeing his tall figure standing at the curtain’s frame. You stood at the stone barricade and smiled slightly at Malleus, bowing to him.
“I didn’t think you would seek my company, King Malleus.”
“That title sounds… weird coming from you,” he admitted, making you both laugh. You look at the horizon to watch the setting sun, going quiet along with him. You had to break the silence.
“So, how are you and your queen?” You asked, causing Malleus to look at you.
“She is fine. She’s expecting, so she’s taking care of herself instead,” Malleus said, being careful with his words, but you wanted to hide behind your old, playful attitude.
“You were quite fast, weren’t you?” You responded with a laugh, but you could feel your heart breaking already.
“It’s been about two years since we last conversed. I don’t think that’s too fast,” Malleus spoke casually, but you would notice how he looked at you somberly, almost as if he didn’t like it as much as you did.
“I see. I wish the Queen and your child a safe and easy journey.” You said quietly, sounding a bit melancholic. You had to force those words out, and Malleus simply nodded to accept your wishes.
His look made you narrow your eyes towards the ground, not wanting to look at him as you knew it would only cause you more heartbreak.
“Malleus…” You called out quietly, sighing and leaning against the stone.
“Don’t say anything,” he whispered, looking out into the horizon just like you did moments ago.
After a few minutes of silence, the sun had finally set, turning the sky dark with the moon’s light shining down on you and Malleus.
“Thank you,” you broke the silence first amidst the faint clamor of festivities behind you, “for the chance to be with you for so long.”
Malleus looked at you, then you looked at him in return. These looks turned into stares. Stares felt like time froze. It was you and him again, and you wouldn’t want it any other way.
You engraved the details of his face into your head, and he was doing the same for you. When he broke the silence, the bubble around you two still hadn’t popped.
“You were a wonderful experience,” he said sincerely, giving you a smile.
You smiled back, but before you could respond, others called Malleus over. He tried to stay there, but he was forced away. He was only able to take one more look at you before he disappeared. He faded away like a light swallowed by a deep darkness, which was so strange. It was only a change.
You still kept your smile after he left. Now, you could say what you wanted.
“You were… everything.”

I’ve always wondered, how did you somehow MASTER the twst style? I see like 50 artists somehow turn into Yana toboso herself AND ITS INCREDIBLE??
I’m not a master at all, but I’m not even kidding when I say I spent some 2 years offline JUST dedicating myself to figuring that out. Or at least try having a basic foundation because I have a toxic habit about studying the art of a thing I like to draw on model (or mostly do so) just. because. Anyone following me for years would know this isn’t news 😭💃
I was into twst for a good while before I even started posting about it 😩 though, there’s still work out there that’s jank. (and if anyone even looks at someone like Tia, you can visibly see a shift anyway where i finally learned to do something- that- given what i am is kinda pathetically late- art twitter tutorial shills/police would kill me)
And even then, I lack something all mad scientists have: ASSISTANTS. 👹 god knows twst looks the way it does thanks to multiple hands touching every image instead of one person (me) handling every stage.
And even then based on tags, people just love pointing out, “oh y’know it’s not QUITE there u can TELL up close it’s fake” like… thanks i guess? I get the sentiment in theory, but I mostly take that as confirmation as still not being good enough. Not to “deceive” really, but for personal reasons. I see it enough to the point that it’s just really really emphasizing how much I’m definitely not accomplishing, even if it’s supposed to be a positive comparison. Something about the phrasing. Though, mind, this is just how my brain is interpreting it. It’s legit 100% just how my brain interprets those comments, I doubt the people are being as cynical as I think.
Now that I think about it, you know how people implicitly think fanfic is inherently lesser than “REAL writing” in published books? That’s how those responses are reading. Fanart is inherently lesser than what’s actually backed or officially shilled out; “so let’s point out what makes this NOT legit.” Probably not the intended route these people are going for, but, there’s something almost smug about it. Like folk relishing in that some code has been cracked even though……. there was no puzzle to begin with.
Actually pointing out what sets it apart in that alleged “positive” light is something I’ve yet to see. While I have seen a few teases that I have a “style” that’s enough of a ring, I don’t know what it is the others are seeing. I’m the one that has to stare at it through all stages. Not like I can tell what I’m doing different beyond [opens my fun list]
still can’t draw hands, colors bleeding constantly, overshooting lighting, undershooting value, incorrect line pen, inconsistent line weight, disengaging posing, FLAT FLAT FLAT, details nonexistent, myriad of subtle things I’m still not doing—
but that’s just me, watch me draw in a stream with a mic and you’d never hear the end of it
TL;DR: I disciplined myself for 2ish years behind closed doors because of a toxic habit for a skill that won’t be utilized.
i just woke up 20 minutes ago
#cozy ask#twstposting /#but i also see folk dig at the actual art like ‘erm THIS doesnt look right ://‘ so there’s no winning anywhere#This didn’t answer the question at all this just became another retrospective vent.#SO REALLY SORRY IF I HAVE BEEN SUPER DUPER NEGATIVE NANCY LATELY.

1, 14, 25, and 28 for the twst ask game? (if that’s too many feel free to pick and choose lol)
the fact that we chose so many of the same questions and were both like “if it’s not too much 🥺” FAVE
1. who is on your home screen right now?
Pumpkin Knight Idia is one of my defaults even not around Halloween!! Unsurprisingly as sawluvr199x and my love for horror as a whole, I’ve grown up with Halloween being my family’s biggest holiday of the year. I think it suits her and also her gushing about 80s horror in the vignette made me Feel Things.
BG rn is mostly a holdover until playful land’s out for the music LOL
(also don’t look at my gems I’m Saving. that child took me to pity on his birthday and now I have to start all over for playful land. i only need to really grind out 2 more to soft pity with bdays)
14. if you could wear any outfit from the game, which one would it be?
I wanna say it’d be hard to pick as a romantic goth playing a yana toboso game, but it’s not. It’s just not. Heartslabyul Halloween fit.
I would wear this every day of my life if I could. The corsets and the raven skull. Fuck me dude. The gloves are even velvet.
I’ll also put Malleus GloMas because I wanna cosplay it So Bad when I’m further in transition. Malleus is a character who made me very comfortable and gender wise also. It’s why I decided to go by Drac online and want to change my middle name to Draconia irl despite him not even being a fav LMAO
25. who is the first person to be banned from entering ramshackle?
My self insert actually isn’t Yuu, but a Pomefiore student!! I mentioned a day or two ago that I didn’t really like Yuu as a character at all until I read Octa manga and used Yuuta as my Yuu. That being said, he seems way too nice to ban anyone and would inversely invite them in for a meal LMAO.
As for me, Drac Draconia Octahyde… well Grim is part of the deal so I can’t ban him. Probably Rook. He isn’t my least favorite character and I actually like how absolutely fucking insane he is. But also I do not want him anywhere near me because of how fucking insane he is. My qpp has had nightmares of walking through the city at night and a bus passes him and Rook is in the back window. Staring straight at him. Standing and unmoving. We’re both really obsessed with it.
28. a song you'd recommend to your favorite character?
OHHH IDIA… MY WONDERFUL EMO WIFE. There are a LOT of songs I connect to her (I literally had an idea for an entire series of 17 pieces based on her and every single Black Parade song.)
I think my biggest one is ironically not an MCR song. So Much for Stardust by FOB is a song I very very deeply relate to, and I feel like it really captures her grief with the death of Phantom Ortho.
Another big one is Cemetery Drive by MCR, again one I deeply relate to and one that definitely encompasses Idia’s grieving.
Also like, I can’t NOT post Black Parade songs after mentioning it, so I’ll say This Is How I Disappear because of how encompassing it is of despair and loss, and also Kill All Your Friends because it’s about the anger and isolation when you have CTPSD and nobody around you understands. Also it’s my favorite song on the album when I’m forced to pick one and it goes so fucking hard.

First of all, let me say that it should be read from right to left ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ
Mori Ougai had retreated to his room for a few days because of the messes made by a few troubled kids at his school, trying to fix the mistakes those kids had made. He was too busy at work, but there was nothing he could do. He hadn't slept or eaten for several days. Now, just as he was about to complete the final parts of his report, he heard a knock at his door. "Come in," he said in a tired voice. The person on the other side of the door was history professor Fukuzawa Yukichi. He was one of those who noticed that the Headmaster had been locked in his room for a long time, and was beginning to worry about him. So he was thinking of taking him out of his room and inviting him to fresh air.
Even though Mori Ougai knew his door was open, he didn't bother to raise his head and wished the person who entered would say whatever he wanted to say and leave. He prayed himself to that no further problems had arisen. There was a moment of silence, Fukuzawa was staring at Mori with his head stuck in the doorway. 'He looks pale.' he thought. When was the last time he had seen him this bad? After considering it for a while, he sighed calmly and decided to speak. "Are you busy Headmaster?" Fukuzawa asked in a monotone voice. As soon as Mori heard his voice, he revived and looked up at him. "I didn't expect to see you at this time, Fukuzawa Dono." he said in amazement. Then he took off his mask so that the eye bags, which were signs of his fatigue, could be seen more easily, and he leaned back in his chair. Mori tilted his head to the right and smiled, "Glad to see you here, I needed a break." he muttered quietly.
Fukuzawa didn't enter the room, he leaned against the door frame and folded his arms. There was a brief silence between them, giving him time for Fukuzawa to review him. Fukuzawa knew he could take a break after hearing his voice, and now it seemed like Mori had taken away all his motivation to work. Realizing that this was the case, Fukuzawa considered leaving him alone and giving him space to rest. "Seems like you're tired and busy. I can come another-" Before Fukuzawa could even finish his sentence, an objection from Mori interrupted him. "No! You're not going anywhere," Mori quickly protested, raising both hands in the air. Then he put his hands on the table and got support from them to lift himself up. "So!" he began, "while i find you at this time..." and muttered quietly.
Fukuzawa was genuinely interested in the lessons and did not visit Mori often, it was extremely difficult for Mori to find him. But now his opportunity had come his feet. He jumped up cheerfully and, with one hand in the air, began to list the things he wanted to do with him today. "We can have our lunch together first. And then we can take a little walk outside, I miss that- and maybe..." He started speaking slowly at the beginning and sped up towards the end as he counted his requests.
Fukuzawa couldn't help curling his lips up at this sight. 'Revived so fast.' he thought through it. Leaning tight against the doorframe, he waited for Mori to finish talking and watched him calmly. He had understood long ago what this heart-warming thing was, they both knew it, but was there any need to verbalize it? It had been a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful day for them.
No one ever told me there was a game called Twisted Wonderland - AND AGAIN, NO ONE TOLD ME THAT THE DRAWINGS OF THE GAME ARE BY YANA TOBOSO! AND NOBODY DID NOT SAY THAT THE TWO CHARACTERS' VOICE ACTORS ARE THE VOICE ACTORS OF MY TWO FAVORITE CHARACTERS. Oh... ok i'm allright... whoa... So i said! Why not dress Fukuzawa and Mori like them and draw them? I can do this, right??
I must thank you again @madamlilac :')

Who Needs Reality When...
Probably a flop lol :) Anyways- I got bored and wrote this and idk...
Characters: Adeuce, Grim, Malleus Draconia, Silver ( All Twisted Wonderland)
Warnings: None
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Who needs reality when… you could have late night walks through the dark forest around the castle with Malleus, arms linked in one another’s as he points out the different gargoyle statues on the old, stone castle. Pointing out the era they’re from…..and the names he had given them. Walking further into the forest with him, staring up into the sky and watching the moon and stars. Watching the fireflies dance around you as soft music plays as Malleus extends his hand to you, an offer to dance in the clearing he had brought you to….
Who needs reality when… you could wake up leaning against a tree with Silver, your heads leaning against the tree as the birds chip softly in the branches above. Watching as the light fades from the sky and becomes a dazzling yellow hue. Delicately creating a flower crown to place upon Silver who is still sleeping. As you place the flower crown carefully on his head, he gently opens his Aurora eyes….
Who needs reality when… you could cause chaos with the Adeuce + Grim trio. Running away from Riddle as you had angered him again, Ace yelling in frustration as he gets hit by Riddle’s unique magic….again. Later listening to Grim mock Ace for getting caught again as you and Deuce try to deescalate the situation as both Grim and Ace become more frustrated with each other...
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Notes:

Sebastian getting drunk
(Requested in messages)
꧁𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬꧂
𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲: silkythewriter, formally known as weirdowithahat
𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐛𝐲/𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲: Jijhvg on Pinterest. Art made by by A-1 Pictures.
𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝/𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲: sublieu
𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲: Square Enix and Yana Toboso
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: drinking (as said in the title)
𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝:
First things first, this doesn’t happen very often, he’s very proper and has much work to do so it’s rare he finds the time to sneak in a few bottles.
He doesn’t really enjoy it more as a distraction, and a short relief mechanism since he knows how he gets while drunk. He can get a bit more emotional and clingy then he’s comfortable with showing.
It takes ALOT of drinking for this man to get hammered, after all he’s a demon so his tolerance is a bit higher then that of a human. Which is a blessing and curse considering how many bottles go in one night just trying to get tipsy
One time he came to your room at the dead of night. Like I’m talking about 2-3 am in the morning, you barely heard his knock that could be considered a tap due to how silent it was. You grudgingly open the door revealing Sebastian, he stumbled slightly as you open the door which startled him a bit so he just put his full weight on as he stumbled forward leaving you concerned and confused at what happened. He only buried his face in chest while playing with a strand of your hair, and if your short mind you this demon is quite tall so he was basically bending down and if your tall he was basically hugging onto your hips while doing so. You knew something was off due to his composer, he usually was more of a gentleman around you so him doing this randomly differently gave him away.
“Y/n, darling may I invite you to dance?” His words slurred and dragged out. Leaving you chuckling at the randomness and inviting him into your room to make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid, your bed wasn’t the biggest but it was big enough for you two to lay comfortably on.
On nights like those he usually just relaxes his body and/or makes you stroke his hair to relax his spinning head.
Ciel is more or less confused when Sebastian walks out your room looking a bit more dead then usual
“Your late!” Ciel said angrily as he stared daggers into the demon. Sebastian could only bow as he apologized “I’m sorry my lord” he said his voice a bit deeper and bumper then usual but ciel only waved him off to straighten himself up
After getting drunk he definitely freshens up pretty quickly cause as said he’s a busy demon especially with ciel so he doesn’t have much time to recover from the night before
The day after him getting drunk he usually doesn’t drink for another 3-6 months? As said he doesn’t have much time for it
But with that being said he, he loves drink wine red wine to be exact, especially with you. He finds if the most relaxing especially since he finds it the most tolerable. He can’t get drunk off two or five glasses like I’ve said before but wine for some reason doesn’t effect him all that much unless he downs like 10 bottles of something
If ciel and the rest are already asleep he loves taking you to dance around in the kitchen or garden of the manor, he loves seeing your skin in the shining moon, it always complimented your dark/tan/light skin in his opinion
OH! And at the beginning, where I said he was clingy? Let’s explore that more!
When he’s not drunk he’s very proper. He is overprotective and clingy to you when not drunk don’t be mistaken but it’s more hidden and less suspected then when he’s drunk
When he’s drunk he’ll just materialize behind you and just hug your waist and is over all more touchy. Not as proper or Romantic when sober but over all more lose when so it’s a big change
Sometime he loves whispering thing into your ear when you don’t know he’s behind you, he just finds your experience funny he does end up apologizing when you scold him 💀
Overall more clingy and over you, he can’t really help it (-.-💧) he usually remembers everything once sober and it makes him a bit embarrassed

i’ve followed you since your black butler days, I always loved your silly comics. have you heard about or played twisted wonderland? it’s a mobile game with art by yana toboso
Ive heard of it, seen art from it, havent played it. I hear the dialogue is kinda cringy and Idk what i would do if a yassified anime boy version of Ursula little mermaid started using modern slang other than throw my phone across the room and stare at the ceiling for an hour, but yknow.. thats just me.

This is a prequel of sorts to my ocs and how they came to be.
Each chapter will cover a different character
I don't own twisted wonderland or it's characters they belong to Yana Toboso and Disney
I own Celine Perrine ,her family, as well as Antabellows
Warnings;implied death, blood, gaslighting, manipulation, implied murder, descriptive of gore and blood, forced medicating.
Type:Night Shade Tea
Tales of Antabellows
Chapter 2:Secrets in the walls
Many tragedies had fallen upon the Perrine Family. The most recent one occurring only just a few days after the second eldest child had reached the tenth year of life. The father of the Perrine children Charles had passed away. Celine had gone to see him when he hadn't come from his workroom to join the rest of them for breakfast. It was quiet in that room filled with books upon books containing his research along with many test tubes, beakers and other such things. A strange smell was in the air making the child wrinkle her nose but she had found her father moments later. He had been sitting in his chair and once Celine was close enough she tried to wake him but the strangest thing was his skin was cold to the touch and he didn't seem to be moving a single inch worse yet the stink was stronger . Afraid she called to her mother who had come to see what was wrong and once Sofia realized what had happened she ran over getting her child away from the man knowing good and well her husband was no longer among the living. The funeral service was a short somber affair. Sofia and her children wept and Celine knew this wasn't the end of their woes. She could feel they were only just starting as her mothers sister her aunt Carmila approached her mother's side.
She offered the chance for her sister and her children to live with her own side of the family knowing her sister would grieve for some time and needed some way to provide for her children. Sofia knew there weren't many options if she was to feed the children and keep a roof over their heads so reluctantly she agreed to Carmilas proposal.
It wasn't long before the family moved into the Frassino household. It was a large estate situated upon a sprawling plot hidden in the midst of the woods.
When the car pulled up to it Celine couldn't help but feel a sense of unease seeing the large home. As beautfiul as the house was it felt as if she were walking into the mouth of a larger being that already intended to swallow her whole, worse yet were the feelings of eyes being upon her even though she couldn't see them. Once they were unpacked and settled night soon came.
Celine couldn't sleep as she laid in bed staring up at the ceiling listening to the ticking of the clock in the room. She felt restless before she sat up and put on her slippers walking out of her room. Thankfully Celine had a candle ready so she could see in the dark.
Walking down the hallway she saw many portraits and a lot of them seemed like they were watching her. That wasn't the only thing she felt that was wrong. She kept walking and walking until her shoe hit something wet. Celine stopped to see what it was, a strange smell reached her nose smelling of iron. She looked to see what it might have been only to see a dark red. Celine felt herself shaking as she followed the increasing trail of crimson blood as she heard whispering. Celine couldn't entirely understand it but she had a feeling whomever was speaking was trying to tell her something. The trail of blood seemed to end at a door which she could tell was locked subconsciously Celine began to reach for the door before a larger hand stopped her. Celine looked up and saw Carmila who looked at her with some irritation. "Just what are you doing out of bed?" She inquired
"There was blood I wanted to see where it was coming from" Celine tried to tell her before her aunt frowned. "What blood?" Carmila asked before Celine looked and it was gone. She rubbed her eyes trying to make sure before Carmila spoke "Go back to bed little girl. " Celine did so but questioned how could that blood have disappeared so fast she knew it was there before but could she have imagined it ?
The next week went by as if it were nothing but an instant in the family's life including Celines' but at night she couldn't help but feeling someone else was there trying to show her something. She had once more restless and felt the need to go exploring the house. Gathering the candle and her slippers she set to walking down the familiar hallway. The dim glow of the candles light seemed to flicker as she heard something or rather someone whispering. She raised the light and saw a faint outline of a figure who's face was covered Celine tried to see who it was only for them to walk further down so she quietly followed the unfamiliar figure.
The figure seemed to go down the same hallway that the blood Celine had seen before went. By the time she reached the door the figure was gone. She went to the door and when she tried to open it, it wouldn't budge. 'Surely the figure couldn't have just walked through the wall could they? ' she thought to herself before she heard a loud chiming, the grandfather clock had hit twelve. With each chime the whispers grew louder and louder as she saw figures appearing and Celine felt afraid but unfortunately there didn't appear to be a way away from them. Celines' ears began ringing as the figures seemed to notice her and laugh at her shrinking frame. It wasn't until a hand touched her shoulder that Celine looked over. It was her Aunt who looked irritated moreso than before "honestly what is driving you to -" Carmila started before Celine spoke "I saw them auntie, ghosts they were laughing at me " her aunt held a hand up "those were merely figments of your troubled mind. And I certainly have half a mind to have someone come to treat it. In fact I believe I'll send for someone in the morning. " she spoke with venom despite the smile on her face making Celine feel afraid
The next day filled Celine with dread as she was made to stay in bed while the doctor looked her over. Doctor Yule wasn't a cruel person by any means however her aunts smile haunted her. She had told Doctor Yule what she had seen and while the doctor listened it didn't seem he believed her. "What can you do for my niece Doctor?" Carmila asked with a sad look in her eyes. "Well what your niece is describing appears to be hallucinations brought on by grief from her father's passing, thankfully I have a way to ensure they stop " Dr Yule said as he held up a bottle.
The bottle was small in size and filled with toxic green colored liquid, just looking at the fluid made Celine feel ill. Long effeminate hands soon took the bottle poured some of the medicine onto a spoon and held it out to Celine with expectancy, which the girl promptly took, placing it in her mouth before the sickly sweet liquid ran down her throat. A strange disorienting feeling washed over her before her eyes closed and Celine felt herself lapse into the world of dreams.
With that a good set of seven months went by, and there wasn't a trace of blood nor laughing specters. Finally Celine had been able to sleep but something still felt off. Every day Carmila had Celine clean several rooms and every night she had been made to her music on her viola just before everyone went to sleep,Carmila looked at her with great expectancy. She couldn't understand why her aunt wanted her to do these tasks but the woman would remind her of the supposed kindness she gave by providing her the medicine to keep the supposed hallucinations at bay. The few times her mother had been home and tried to speak up Carmila would only give an excuse that it was for Celines' own good. It wasn't until the month of October came about that the illusion of safety would come crashing.
It was storming outside rain pounding against the aged glass of the windows. Celine had found herself in the family library reading with the lights dimmed. A chill ran through the air making Celine look up and there she saw a figure the same one that led her to the door once. She tried to reassure herself, it wasn't real. She had taken her medicine surely it wasn't her mind that was the problem. The figure glanced at Celine as if to tell her to silence her irrational ramblings that took place in her mind before looking toward the door which she could infer as the figure desiring her to follow them. Setting aside her book Celine followed the strange figure. It led her down the hallway which seemed to stretch onwards with the old light fixtures allowing enough to see. The figure soon led Celine to the same door as the first time they encountered one another. Before Celine could say she didn't have a key the figure extended a skeletal hand which held a small very old looking key which she took. Once she placed it in the lock and turned it the figure vanished and the door opened. Celine peered inside as candles lit themselves as if welcoming the girl while she walked down the stairs. Celine picked up one of the candles looking around the room . She saw many paintings of people. Celine wasn't sure why her aunt would do this, she didn't recognize any of these people save for one. In the corner was a portrait of Carmila and her husband Nico only Nicos face was clearly slashed out from it , and before she could get any closer Celine was grabbed from behind forcing her to drop the candle. Celine felt a sharp pain in her side before feeling incredibly disoriented and fainting.
Celine woke up in her bed still feeling the pain in her side which she now realized could only have come from a needle but who had struck her with it she didn't know all she knew was someone didn't want her in that room. Her door opened and her Cousin Antonia came inside sitting at the foot of her bed. "Good morning " she greeted politely "good morning" Celine greeted back.
Antonia kept a calm but somber frown upon her face "you really need to be careful where you try to go around here, there's ears in the walls" the older girl said. "But who would want me to stay out of that room" Celine asked before Antonia pressed a finger to her lips "don't ask things like that, for now just keep your head down and don't drink the medicine" she glanced at the bottle of green liquid in disgust
Celine nodded at her cousins words before Antonia left.
Within a few weeks Celine felt her head was clear of the medicine. She knew she couldn't exactly find out what was hidden not yet. She needed help, little did she know she'd soon find it for this Halloween night someone was looking for her.
Carmila had planned a grand party with plenty of people coming. She had asked Celine to perform for the party and Celine had a feeling she didn't exactly have a real choice when it came to her answer. The good thing was when she performed she felt a sense of disconnect as if she couldn't sense any of the other guests and she was safe. Once her performance was finished she noticed a blonde man who seemed to smile with an odd air about him. Carmila too noticed the man and she frowned. The man seemed amused by the animosity he felt from the woman. "You. Why are you here. " she hissed from her teeth. "I think you know quite well why I've come Frassino. " the man chortled. Antonia glanced at Celine who gave an equally confused look. "Just how long did you think you could hold onto them?" The man said with mirth in his voice.
"Clearly not enough. " she spat before he turned his gaze to them and Sofia herself approached
"You know you needn't stay here anymore there's somewhere far better waiting " he said kindly before he spoke again "forgive my manners I am Nathaniel Ropehagan, and I have an offer for you two " the gentleman said.
"What exactly are you offering? " Sofia inquired
"The chance to attend the school I work for, Antabellows Academy, they'd have everything they need to strive towards their goals" Nathaniel said
"I think it's a good idea Aunt Sofia" Antonia told the older woman
Sofia turned to her daughter "and you Celine do you want to go to that school?" The woman asked
It had been some time since Celines' mother had asked her what she wanted but she knew there might not be any other chance.
"Yes mama" she replied
"Great pack your things and we will leave in the morning, for now enjoy the party " Nathaniel smiled
Celine knew that soon enough, soon enough she and Antonia could find answers even if it was long before then they would be safe at their new school.

yeah ... it'll always confuse me when people take Yuu as a canon individual character and not the player themselves ... you don't even see their face , the characters always calls Yuu (you/us) "kantokusei" because twst wants us to leave our imaginations to ourselves ! and even if they call us kantokusei the name we've put in the beginning still shows up , that means they're referring to us, the player . stop with the Yuu as a male character in the game 💀
Hi anon
You know? I know some reason why they think that, look:
We ended up in an all boys school. (which doesn't make sense because this is not an otome, so... Gimme girls)
Most of the others boys behavior is not what one can "expect" from them acting towards a woman. (which, again, is ridiculous)
And we have adventures and dangerous moments and apparently that's only a male MC thing. (r i d i c u l o u s)
Because Yuu is a masculine name, the which is not true at all. Is a name used for boys and girls in Japan. I did my research.
And last, they DO NOT like self inserts and the game is designed to make the player a self insert. (and this point is not ridiculous because it depends on each individual preferences)
At the beginning I was really disappointed, because it seemed like the "male MC" thing was canon, so I couldn't connect with the story. That's why I stared to investigate, and then Yana Toboso cleared that, Yuu has not gender, Yuu is the player.
And people, to be honest the 70% of MC/players/Yuu are female, just look at the art on pixiv. Now, if you're a girl and you want Yuu to be a boy, GREAT, of you're a boy and you want Yuu to be a girl GREAT.
The good thing about this, is that you have options: Yuu to be a self insert or to be an OC.
My own Yuu/MC, Nana is a self-insert with some OC characteristics.
Final thoughts:
first TO HAVE A SELF-INSERT IS NOT BAD, ACTUALLY IS HEALTY.
Second DONT RUIN THE FUN FOR OTHERS, let poeple enjoy the game as they want, OC, self insert, boy, girl, cat, alien, whatever is okay. MC is what you want.
I'm receiving request to talk about the boys behavior towards Yuu in my other blog @twistedtexts everyone is free to go there and take a look. My intention is to show you HOW FREAKING CUTE THEY'RE.

Seven Wonders at Night Raven College [Part 1]
Warning: TreyxJade, Alternate Universe, OOC
-
Disclaimer:
Disney Twisted Wonderland belongs to Disney
Art and Storyline belongs to Yana Toboso
-
Trey walked among the crowds alone. With piles of books and papers almost covers his sight of the hallway. He lifted up his chin and continuously said “Excuse me!” along the way. Bumped into someone in this busy day was the last thing he needed.
The clock on the hallway showed his little remaining time. One minute late and he will get scolded by Riddle, The leader of Students Executive Board, even though Riddle was practically one year younger than him.
Suddenly, Trey stopped. He felt like have bumped into someone.
Trey: “A-ah, my apologies!”
Trey was ready to accept his first scolding when instead of a loud thundering anger shout of someone, instead, he heard someone’s soft laugh. He looked beyond his books to see a tall man stood before him, with one hand placed on his piles, preventing the piles to scattered on the floor.
Trey: “Ah, it’s you, Jade. You saved me, thanks.”
Jade, smiled casually: “No problem, Trey-san. By the way, why these mountains of papers?”
Trey: “Ah, you see, the last year will officially renounced their position next week, so we need to prepare the ceremony.”
Jade: “Ah, you’re right. It slipped my mind. Then, I must excuse myself. You must be busy and I was on your way.”
Trey: “No, not at all. You helped me, even. Thank you.”
Jade: “No problem. Need a hand, Trey-san? It seems you would be bumped into someone else if this keep up.”
Trey, awkwardly laughed. “Well … if you’re not troubled, please.”
Jade: “Not at all.”
Then Jade took half of the books and papers. Most of it was from years before him, must be from their seniors.
Trey, approached Jade: “What’re you looking at?”
Jade: “Our Senpai was really awesome, don’t you think?”
Trey: “Ah, could it be … you’re interested in joining executive board?”
Jade, carrying half of the piles. “I’m afraid I couldn’t do that, Trey-san. My brother and Azul had really used me to the utmost extent.”
Trey went silent. Their walked through the corridor with no one talking as Trey recalled that it was indeed true that Jade was almost absent in every club and activities outside campus. Only in Mostro Lounge, the only official café permitted around the campus, he usually seen by. But nonetheless, rumors about him spread fast like a wildfire. Most of it was proven as a mere hogwash, from the rumor that he was the son of a mafia, he had an erased criminal records, and list goes on. None of them were proven to be true. That was why, Trey was so confused as why students avoiding him in they had a chance and always stay alert around him, while in fact, Trey was occasionally being helped by his sudden kindness like this time.
Trey: “It must have been rough, to have friends like that.”
Jade, shocked. “What?”
Trey, sympathetically turned at Jade: “If you’re ever feel tired or need someone to talk to, come to me at any time you want.”
Jade, smiled: “Ah, if that’s what you mean, then. I’ll gladly accept. To be able to receive such an offer from a man like you….”
Trey: “I didn’t know you thought about me that way.”
Jade only smiled.
Trey: “Well … it’s true that even our friends that always been by our side, has some unexpected side on them. You’ll only know that once you’re in different terms on them.”
Jade: “Ah, now you talk about that. You and Riddle-san was coming from the same town, right?”
Trey, solemnly nodded: “Yes, me and Che’nya came from the same town. But back then, Riddle wasn’t slightest like he is today.”
Jade said nothing. He listened carefully.
Trey, coughed awkwardly: “What I wanted said is, you’re entitled to slip up. So, don’t be shy to brushed them off sometimes and have a free time for yourself.”
Jade, smiled casually like always: “Yes, I’ll put that in mind. Oh, look, we’ve arrived.”
Trey, opened the door slowly and carefully: “Yes, and by the right time. Thank you, Jade.”
Jade: “You’re welcome, Trey-san.”
They went in the Student Executive Board Room at the same time. But Trey didn’t noticed the expression Riddle gave him when he witnessed him return with Jade. Only Jade realized this and even he didn’t pay much attention to it.
-
Riddle: “Trey.”
Trey: “Yes?”
Their duty for today have all finished. The books, paper, and every handover documents from their seniors have already been taken care of. Only Riddle and Trey left in the room.
Riddle: “I see you walked with Floyd’s twin.”
Trey: “You mean, Jade? Oh, it just coincidence. I met him on my way here.”
Then Trey realized the troubled expression on Riddle’s face: the frown on his brows and the way he glared to the floor.
Trey: “Riddle, what’s wrong?”
Riddle: “No, it can’t be overthinking. My judgment rarely miss.”
Trey: “Riddle? You troubled that much. Don’t worry, I didn’t talk about you.”
Riddle: “That wasn’t my only concern. Say, Trey, what else did you say to him?”
Trey, a bit confused, but completely honest: “Nothing much, actually.”
Riddle: “If you didn’t say anything about internal problem of Student Executive, then it should be fine.”
Trey, mumbled: “Seriously?” He shook his head. “You didn’t think all that rumors were true, did you?”
Riddle, confused: “What rumors?”
Trey, confused. If Riddle didn’t know rumors, could it be that he spoke the truth just now? : “Well … you see … there are rumors in every generation in this campus about seven wonders of NRC, right? And this generation, Jade was part of that rumor, it seems.”
Riddle, inclined his head. The way he stared at Trey seriously made Trey think about that warning once again. If Riddle really mean what he said then …
Riddle: “Well, I can’t hear such a rumors, can I? Seeing how much of works we need to take care of every day."
Trey, awkwardly laughed: “You’re right.”
Riddle: “Still, it wouldn’t be bad if we take precautions. So, Trey, what kind of exactly rumor you’re saying? Seven Wonders … I think I heard that names before.”
Trey: “Well….”
Then Trey told Riddle all of the story behind the seven wonders. It was all around the campus in every new generations arrived. The Student Executive Board was not missed either. In one of the seven rumors said that Student Executive Board has an irrational and unusual tea party, held secretly among them.
Riddle, scuffed: What a nonsense and baseless rumor! Who said that? We have irrational tea party? How could they say—
Trey: “Please calm down, Riddle. It’s just a rumor. Most of them didn’t know what they’re talking to. And besides, out tea party never got interrupted by anyone so far, right?”
Riddle, still angry: “As I said, it never been too careful. Then, what else rumors out there?”
Trey: “Well, in this generation, they said “You’ll get eternal bad luck if you’re mess with Leech Twins”.”
Riddle scuffed again: “Another baseless rumor.”
Trey, hesitated: “Is that so?”
Riddle, then corrected himself: “You really need to be careful around Jade, but not to that extent. After all, this is educational institute. One wrong move and you’ll be expelled.”
Trey laughed hesitantly: “Though, I’m afraid our director would say things differently.”
Riddle didn’t satisfied: “You’re right….”
Then the red-haired boy looked at the clock on the wall.
Riddle: “Come on, it’s already this late. We should head back too.”
Trey, also turned at the clock on the wall: “Ah, you’re right.”
They prepared to leave and the next thing they knew, they witnessed some groups of students walk on the hallway. Some familiar faces came around.
Trey: “Ah, it’s Jade.”
Riddle, hold him in his place. His face stern: “I don’t want to meet them, especially Floyd. Let’s walk slowly.”
Trey nodded and do as Riddle said when he spotted Jade was between the familiar faces. By his sides, the other Twin, Floyd walked and smiled cheerfully. They have identical face, with slightly different features: like Jade’s sharp eyes, the hair bangs, and the position of their heterochromia eyes.
Floyd: “New students are so funny this year too! They look like horde of mackarels!”
Jade: “Floyd, watch your mouth, please. They are still your juniors.”
Floyd: “E~h? But isn’t it better to teach them some little things, like whoever they must not disobey?”
Trey, whispering sofly: “Ah, he was forced again.”
Riddle, raised one of his eyebrows. “What are you talking about?”
Trey: “There, you see. He was being manipulated and pushed again, right?”
Riddle scorned. “I wouldn’t say that if I were you.” Then he turned to the groups once again. “You need to get a new glasses soon.”
Trey: “H-huh? But my glasses were just fine.”
Riddle: “If you can’t see simple things like this, those glasses are really useless.”
Trey: “What do you mean?”
Riddle: “Just watch.”
That time, slowly, Trey heard a familiar laugh from afar. He turned once again to Jade, who slowly let out a smirk Trey never seen before. A wicked smile. Trey’s eyes widened in surprised and he almost lost his posture, but he swallowed all of his shock and walked besides Riddle.
Jade: “Scared them the moment they entered this campus? I think we’ll have plenty of moments like that later, Floyd.”
Floyd: “E~h, but straightforward is more fun, you know?”
Jade: “Fear is an important factor, indeed, but what I desired the most was chess pieces that can be used on our behalf. That’s why, first impression was very important.”
Besides him, the glasses man smirked.
Azul: “As expected from you, Jade. You understand very well. The rumors that had been spread would be our obstacle, but depends on our way to handle it, they can be our advantages at the moment.”
Floyd: “I don’t get it~ both of you always thinking the most boring way to solve things.”
Jade, laughed softly: “Not everyone had a unique and amazing way to solve problems like you, Floyd. This time, we will present Azul as the leading actors. The rumors of us needed to be taken seriously, indeed.”
Azul: “Yes, a capable senior would be fit to any juniors that just entered this campus now, shall we.”
Jade, smiled wickedly: “We should be able to get as much attention as we want if they prostrate themselves to us without even realizing it. And we will become the reliable senior for their poor unfortunate fate.”
Both of the student’s executive committee watched everything in silence.
Riddle: “You think Jade was willingly accepts orders? You should really observe people more carefully before commenting on them, Trey.”
Trey, sighed: “You’re right. I guess … it was all on me.”
Riddle: “What are you talking about?”
Trey: “Never mind … it’s just … this is different from what I had in mind.”
Riddle: “I told you, you need to buy new glasses.”
Then Riddle told him that even in their junior year, Jade was always made his skin crawl. He didn’t get to know why before, but this time it was different. He already seen another sides of Jade that Trey incapable of seeing before. Trey thought Jade was a humble, hardworking student, but that was all just façade. The truth, Jade might be responsible for some of their fishy actions. Riddle reminds him of the accident in the previous year when exam’s grade was exponentially increased but the cases of violence in campus backyard was also rocketed. That was particularly because of them too.
Riddle: “I don’t want to go near him, as much as I don’t want to be anywhere near Floyd. Sometimes, I felt like he was the one who controlling them, not the opposite, and even enjoying it.”
Trey smiled, but the smile didn’t even touch his eyes: “You speak like he was some kind of a sadist.”
Riddle: “You still think that way?”
Trey, heavily sighed. “Not anymore. Still, to have such impact, even though they are just students … who are they exactly?”
Riddle, empathically looked at Trey: “Don’t worry, once our seniors renounced, you’ll know.”
Trey, confused: “Know what?”
But then he realized, Riddle was looking at his pen, the one he placed on his chest. The special pen that marked him as a part of Students Executive Committee. The mark of special one. Special Humans.
Trey: “I understand. It seems there are so much thing I need to learn from you, Leader.”
Riddle: “I won’t be in this position if I wasn’t competent enough, would I?’
Trey laughed awkwardly. The mistakes couldn’t be undone. He was almost digging his own grave by leaking some information on his own accord. His mistakes. His weakness. And his feelings, to someone he easily trust just because he occasionally helped him. When he thinks about it again, Jade helped him with nothing big. Most of them were simple tasks like bringing him a copy of a lost paper, helped him with piles of work just like today, nothing specific.
If Trey saw on the darker side, it was as if … Jade tried to slowly approaching him. He helped in with purpose in mind. Not that mattered, though. He occasionally did that as well to some people, but feeling that himself was a different thing.
Trey: “Well … I probably need to work up more next time.”
Riddle: “What do you mean?”
Trey: “So I can catch up with you.”
Riddle: “You are done enough already, Trey. On the other hand, our new member, is the opposite.”
Azul: “Well, well, if it isn’t Riddle-san and Trey-san.”
Riddle, calmly approached. Trey realized he walked faster so he matched his speed: “Yeah, excuse us, we need to get home soon. Let’s go, Trey.”
Trey: “A-ah, Yes.”
Trey walked fast passed them. Riddle didn’t event flinched and Floyd, with his brother and Azul around, behave more accordingly towards them, unlike his free and wild usual self.
Jade: “Trey-san?”
Trey stopped midway and turned to face a smiling Jade: “Yes?”
Jade, smiled innocently: “Congratulations on becoming Students Board Committee. Look forward to you this year.”
That smile wasn’t so innocent anymore in Trey’s eyes. It was a mocking smile, directly heading towards his recklessness and easygoing attitude. Then Trey smiled to himself and looked at Riddle. He really had a long way to go than his childhood friend.
Trey, reciprocated Jade’s smile towards him: “Likewise, Jade.”
Then, they parted ways. Jade with Azul and his twin brother, while Trey walking away with Riddle to their home. While they were walking away, Trey could feel some of his inner magic leaked and evaporated to the air, but before it vanished, it triggered something. He saw sparks of light in the night, glittering around him and flew away to Jade’s groups. There, his magic resonates and burst in blue light.
The light he never watched before.
He then remembered what his father said, that magic of humans resonates with magic from the other sides. It couldn’t be resonating with magic from humans also. It only resonating with magic from the other side: the side that not human can ever enter.
The non-human side of this world.
“Don’t worry, once our seniors renounced, you’ll know.”
Trey remembered Riddle’s word, that he would know something once he joined thr Students Committee. He, unlike Riddle, who joined a year before, didn’t know anything. But, both Riddle and he came from the same roots of world. The only reason he could thinking of when Riddle said those puzzle words was ….
Trey shook his head. He once blinded by his own judgment, he can’t be fooled twice by his blinded visions.
Riddle: “Trey, what are you doing?”
Trey, realized he was left alone, quickly catch up with Riddle: “On my way!”
This was the Night Raven College, a college in another world where two kinds of world trying to coexist. Through rumors and gossip in the crowds, the coexistence remained on the neutral side up to this day, until the day they can finally coexist on the same stage, a Committee to watched over the border of the world was needed.
Who could’ve thought that the small step of that coexistence, began with one simple accident in the middle of a night?
But that was another story, for another time.

you know, I truly think there's no point in killing a character if their death and/or legacy won't have lasting consequences on the plot and the most relevant characters.
*stares at yana toboso because I'm still bitter about a certain someone*
if it's just going to make their story end right there for no reason and with no benefit, don't kill them. think of something better, maybe.
#now. we all know this is about agni.#so before you come at me with the 'but soma! it had consequences!' i am going to ask you where#where. bc so far it hasn't seemed relevant to me... and i still don't see why death was needed other than shock value.#and yeah shock value isn't that bad but it's pretty useless for kurofuckingshitsuji isn't it.#anyway if you strongly disagree you're allowed to just write this off as me being a biased agni lover or something#kuroshitsuji
