The blossoming of mad love

This all started because Riddle was rather stressed from the week after dealing with multiple rulebreakers and having to use his unique magic to get them back in line

Then there were the pranks. So many of them and they were usually the fault of one particular rulebreaker.

Riddle rubbed his temples as he attempted to calm his nerves when he caught visual of a certain ginger haired boy, the same one who was driving him mad and Riddle decided it was time to give him a piece of his mind

"Ace you have been-!"

Riddle found his heart in his throat upon seeing her

The most beautiful young lady he had ever seen, now while girls weren't very common in this college it wasnt unheard of for them to have visitors and Riddle had to clear his throat before Ace and the girl looked at him with Ace having a panicked expression

"Gah! Housewarden! " Ace exclaimed

"Ace...who is this?" Riddle inquired before Ace's expression became dumbfounded

"Huh? Dont you...recognize her? Its the prefect"

Just the very idea that this was the same person that he had belittled several times made his ears hot as he realized he was being rude to a lady

Clearing his throat Riddle apologized

"Forgive me prefect I didnt recognize you "

"Its okay Riddle" Kianna said

After Kianna headed away Riddle felt something in his chest, it was constricting and warm and he wanted more

Riddle started to do some digging and when he found out what Kiannas so called father had done to her, he was angry beyond words

It was one thing that his own mother had been a terrible parent but for a girl like Kianna he just didnt see how that man could treat a kind person like kianna like trash

It then hit him he could keep her far away from that monster to prevent further damage

All he needed was to bide his time until he could invite her for tea

After a few weeks Kianna finally accepted his invitation

Pouring the tea with a lovely aroma to accompany it

"Thank you for inviting me Riddle"

"Of course, after all I do want to make sure you're being treated well"

As Kianna lifted the cup to her lips Riddle was sure that his Rose would be safe from harm just as long as that was possible not many heads would need to roll

Another Grim story set

The False Groom

Princess Mochizuki didnt ask for much but one thing to marry her true love

This true love was Azusa Mukami and while he was on his way to see her there would be a bit of unfortunate circumstances for the two for another sought Ichigo's heart

Kanato Sakamaki and he despised that Azusa held Ichigos heart while he had been forced to watch the two's happiness that he wanted for himself so he made a plan

If Azusa wanted to reach Ichigo he would have no choice but to go through Kanatos territory and then he could fulfill his wishes

The day eventually came where the young man indeed passed through the woods Kanato had taken residence in and he sent his familiar to ambush Azusa tying him up tightly while Kanato used a spell to assume Azusa's appearence so sweet Ichigo would be none the wiser of the vampiric princes' trickery

Kanato made his way to princess Mochizuki's home

Much to the princess' surprise her husband to be was more forward with his advances and desires compared to how quiet he usually acted

It wasnt only her who noticed the differences it was her servants as well who he seemed to torment when he was displeased

None of them knew that the true groom was deep in the woods attempting to escape the familiars of Kanato

Kanato knew soon enough the wedding would come long before Azusa could get to Ichigo and his familiars would likely not allow him to get far

One night Ichigo decided to go see her groom wanting to know why he was do different compared to how she remembered the normally sweet Azusa

As Ichigo made her way to the room she heard singing and peering inside she saw something that made her heart feel as if it were in her throat

In place of Azusa was a purple haired man with eyes that reminded her of heliotropes singing the song of Scarborough fair once he stopped he laughed to himself

"So long Azusa, Ichigo will be my bride very soon"

Ichigo realized she knew this man, a vampiric prince who attempted to obtain her hand once but she kindly rejected him.

She was able to put two and two together that her true husband to be must be in the wilds where the dark prince dwelled

Quietly making her way away from the false grooms room Ichigo set out on her horse riding off to find Azusa unaware she too would be followed

The dark woods were not given their name for any irrational reason, the whole forest itself felt as if one's eyes were always watching you each snap of a twig, every flutter of a ravens' wing could very well be the last sound you hear if you were to take one wrong step

Ichigo searched and searched until she came upon it a dark castle whos chambers within gave an almost unsettling sense of security

Were it anyone else's home the vast amounts of dolls and soft things might not have frightened the princess but she knew she mustn't let it distract her nor should she allow herself to be seen or heard for a single sound would surely draw the attention of the familiars she saw roaming, most ghastly things they were with broken and chipped porcelain like faces not unlike oversized dolls that had likely slaughtered whom Kanato ordered them to

Eventually she did indeed find Azusa, the two embracing but this joy was not to last for Azusa's face gave it away as two of the ghastly guards gripped them in a vice as Kanato made himself known and he was angry

Angry his bride had yet again chosen to run to another man, however this time he had decided to be lenient with the two knowing full well if he couldn't keep Ichigo he could surely fix this

A disturbed smile made it's way to the vampiric princes lips as he laughed

It only took a matter of days before the kingdom was in mourning, Azusa and Ichigo had been found dead in the dark forest, their throats slashed and their eyes gouged

What none knew outside of Kanato and his household was these bodies were of some fools he had decided were annoying enough to deserve his blade in their corpses and they provided a way to keep Azusa and Ichigo in his hands where surely one day both would break until then Kanato would have his fun
