How would the Diaboys react to a sacrificial bride who is the complete opposite of Yui? They are both best friends, but they are completely different. She is tougher, more independent, bolder, and braver, and doesn't accept being treated like a mere piece of meat. She has even fought with the boys without caring about the punishments they would receive, even going so far as to retaliate and defend Yui, exposing the boys' hypocrisy.

My answer: she will not live long.

I know many users here have written prompts and headcanons about a sacrificial bride who is the complete opposite of Yui and this one defies the DL boys bcos she is not just a piece of meat but lemme remind you: THIS IS DIABOLIK LOVERS AND THE BOYS ARE VAMPIRES. To vampires, humans are food. Yui/MC is treated as such even if the story progresses and they become nice to her (like eventually date her or something.)

Even in Ayato's route, he couldn't comprehend Yui/MC as "human" because all his life, human equals food. But that doesn't mean he doesn't cherish her or love her. He has those special feelings for her, of course.

But if it's an MC who openly defies the DL boys, they will never get out alive. They will suffer before they know it. The boys are all vampires (or unique beings from the demon world). They can break a bone or two if they feel like it; or even torture the girl until she dies.

I don’t get how some individuals complain about the Diaboys SA-ing Yui when she literally SAd others too. Giving Ayato false hope & using him merely for pleasure after he opened up to her, and then, in another scene, paralyzing him completely so he can’t escape from her using him for pleasure, is suddenly not SA anymore in their book? The pleasure from bloodsucking is the equivalent of an orgasm, mind you. If you dislike characters who do that, then don’t pick sides.
