Good question..... I'm playing tetris in my head now to fit everything together.

Stan would definitely enjoy doggy. He's a rough and tumble-r imo, so he's all about manhandling and being in charge for the most part, and doggy means throwing his partner over the hood of his car or the back of the couch.

I can imagine him being partial to cowgirl/reverse cowgirl (what is the gn term for this? *southern accent* 'pardner'? LMAO) too so he can watch them do all the work and get a free show. Also because it's nice to have someone maintain eye contact, too.

I think Stan would be a big fan of working his partner over really hard and then (because he has a bad back) having to take a couple of days off and letting them show their appreciation for his efforts by doing all the leg work.

For Ford, I think he likes missionary because it's very intimate and promotes a lot of connection in the moment. He can see you and kiss you etc with ease, and he can study your face. I know sometimes people think missionary is boring but it's very underrated for romance and emotional bonding in smut, imo. He's the type to wrap one arm around his partner's middle to lift them into him and hold them close. Or he holds hands with his partner the whole time, foreheads pressed together.

He's also partial to having a partner on-top because he enjoys getting to have a bit of a show. There's the added element of slight dominance too because his partner is higher than he is and he can be subservient below.

I can also see Ford enjoying intercrural. Like a thigh job, I mean. So he's spooning his partner from behind and fucking the space between where their thighs come together. Plus having regular penetrative in the same position.

One I think they'd share appreciation for is where their partner is lying on their front with a pillow under their hips to raise them up a bit, while Ford/Stan kind of drape themselves over their partner and fuck them from behind. Oh baby! Do I have a story! My brother isn’t the best at social cues and the whatnot. So one night while he and Mcgucket were doing the science-y thing, apparently ol’Mcgucket outright confessed to Ford. Ya know, grabbed him by the face, kissed him, said “I love you, Ford!” The whole nine-yards. And Ford responded with “i love you too Fidds, but now is not the time for friendly affection, we need to work on the portal!” Pointdexter told me about this one night when he was drunk. I don’t think he even remembers that I know. I’m still not sure if he understands that he got confessed to.

i feel like not enough ppl are factoring in the cultural clash between laios and shuro and the many micro agressions shuro faced while being in their group. literally the name 'shuro' in itself is one

his name is toshiro 😭 lets also not forget that he has his own communication issues, in the opposite way that laios does- thats literally a factor in their argument, that his envy for laios's ability to express himself sincerely manifested as part of his distaste for him.

ig all this to say like, was their fight heart wrenching, especially when reading laios as autistic? absolutely. anybody whos ever been in laios's position knows how much it hurts to realize someone you thought was your friend doesnt actually like having you around, especially when they didnt tell you and you had no way of knowing due to not understanding their cues. but im begging yall to step back and see the nuance of this situation cause im gonna be real a lot of you are kinda just brushing over it acting like everything is toshiros fault and that hes a terrible person when in reality hes an average guy who really, really clashed with laios and it led to a very long misunderstanding due to their supremely opposite methods of communication. even laios and toshiro, after letting everything out in their fight, were able to come to an understanding and start a foundation for an actual friendship built on better communication

ok yknow what Edit: i shouldve made it even more explicit at the end of this post, i hadnt thought i would need to since i started the post with this, but i think a few too many people are missing my point so i just wanna clarify. i shouldnt have said 'really clashed' and left it at that because yeah they did, but it wasnt just their opposite methods of communication, it is also very much that toshiro was experiencing microaggressions via laios. it may have been unintentional on laios's part, but it still happened and wore him down, made it harder for him to communicate on top of both the more subtle social cues that he was raised with and his own communication difficulties. i also want to say that the fandom reaction to toshiro and the complete ignorance of this point is also racist tbh or at the very least ignorant. i understand that the anime did not cover this panel, and neither did the manga, as this was an omake, but im gonna be real with you guys. there are enough context clues within the story to clue you into this. if you didnt pick up on it thats ok, but i think this is a good lesson in picking up subtext in the stories that youre watching and/or reading. kui shouldnt have to explicitly say 'by the way laios was racist to toshiro' for this point to be understood, and at the very least, when the author portrays a character in a sympathetic light (as kui clearly does) it should make you question Why they are doing so and what makes them sympathetic, rather than youre immediate and only reaction to be 'well i hated what this guy did/said so i hate them and they suck'. idk exactly how to finish this, just. idk. question your biases and gut reactions to things you see in media and stories, and think about whether or not theres subtext that youre missing.

look at the state of this thing!! look at its rips! the stain in the bottom right corner! it’s dog-eared, the color is faded, the paper has browned… he’s kept this photo of them since they were kids. through all the years he stubbornly swore to hold a grudge, all the years he and stan never spoke, he kept this photo.

and we can assume he probably didn’t have it dimension-hopping, since i find it hard to believe he would’ve had it on him when he initially got sucked in, but ford pulling it out of his trenchcoat here!! implies!! that he had been CARRYING IT AROUND WITH HIM for some time after he got back!

imagine if he found it in some of his old stuff the night he returned, after punching and yelling at stan, after being sure to keep as much emotional distance between them as possible, and he finds this photo. would he have stared down at it? for a little while? smoothed the creases out on his desk? thumbed the torn, loved edges while he mourned a simpler time? then pocketed the thing to always have it with him?

i dunno. maybe i’m looking too far into it. but i can’t help but wonder if ford kept it because, against all his big dreams and ambitions, deep down he always wondered what his life might have been like if he sailed away with his brother when they were teenagers. never able to throw it away because doing so would symbolically destroy the last remnants of a childhood fantasy, the last piece of him that remains young and hopeful of a future at his brother’s side.

I think that, in all honesty, all he wants is for someone to like him. All he wants is for someone to look at him and have love or adoration in their eyes, and once he realises he can get that, even for a few minutes, if he makes someone cum? Stan's all over it.

He hates being used but deep down he likes to be useful, the same as Ford.

While he was definitely a bed hopper in his time on the road, I also think there was a certain desperation to be liked within it, too. Stan wants so badly to be loved and I can see him being willing to fuck for that attention. Maybe they'll like me if I can just make them XYZ / Maybe if I do it better than anyone else, they'll see the value in me.

This is something that operates on a very deep level, though. His surface layers are very standoffish and defensive, but I think that emotion is roiling around down there for him.

Anyways on a less depressing note, I think older Stan is a little bit more greedy with his pleasure but he's not outright selfish. He can be, if he's in the mood to be a dick about it, but I think he enjoys getting other people off anyway. It's a nice reminded for him that he's 'good for something', even when he feels that he isn't.

You’re really interested in our old geezer music, huh? Ha! Well, you’ve asked the right guy! Elton John was definitely one of the best, but I liked Steely Dan, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Kiss, and Queen. There’s probably bout a hundred more but Sixer is getting a knot in his panties, waiting.

The music I tend to gravitate towards is rather classical. It's not very distracting while I'm trying to focus, but still adds a nice ambience. I've heard many different kinds of music in my time (some made on instruments that humans can't even normally hear!), and while none of them are as calming as my usual collection, I'm willing to branch out occasionally.
