The medicine that I have to take for my fibromyalgia was starting to make me gain weight. I couldn't handle it and started taking diet pills to counter the drowsiness and insane appetite.

Right now, I'm trying Hydroxycut Advanced. If they don't work, I'll go back to Stacker 3XPLC pills. I used those in college and I loved them. I just bought the hydroxycut because it was on sale and I'm broke. We'll see what happens.

I'm thinking about posting my intake here. I feel disconnected from the community when all I do is share memes and pictures. I'm lonely.

okay pacrim au (it's gonna be steddie bear with me here)

nancy is the best jaeger pilot the world's ever seen, her and barb are an unstoppable force. but then barb dies, gets completely ripped from their mech. so they pair nancy with steve, a pilot known for being generally drift compatible with everyone to a degree. it's not perfect, but nancy who is full of fury needs someone that can roll with her punches, keep her going. and they do well. they aren't the best, but he's the only one that can handle nancy's force. steve's good at taking hits. they mange it for about two years. and steve had been doing such a good job hiding it, absorbing all of nancy's internal grief and fury so she could keep doing her job.

but he breaks. the two of them are force-retired, and nancy lashes out so intensely, steve goes into a depression, completely severs ties with the jager program and disappears.

then there's eddie, a street rat by birth, but a guy so inherently good with the jaeger technology, he's managed to build his own on scavenged scraps—part of it from the jaeger barbara holland died in. he's used his lil jaeger to defend his little forgotten part of the world best he could, mostly luring kaiju away towards the actual military and stealthily escaping before any government detects him. but it's hard to do alone.

and then he meets steve.

Game 9: Kirby's Super Star Stacker (Jan 2024)

KIrby's Super Star Stacker is a very simple puzzle game where you link at least two animals of the same kind either vertically or horizontally as long as they are all the same or are a normal block. While the actual concept of this gameplay is simple, the actual combo system of Super Star Stacker is the meat on the bone. Combos are pretty much the only way you are able to do damage, and while it's certainly possible to get big combos with little attention, largely the game can't be beat on pure blind combos. This ends up making Super Star Stacker far more versus oriented over some of it's other puzzle game likes but not for the better. Arguably, Star Stacker is kinda boring without it's combo system, and it's further distanced from the usual make by the game trying to add more after your initial combo. It's certainly neat that sometimes after a two combo the game can position you into an undeserved 10 combo by constantly throwing boxes at your board, but it certainly doesn't feel earned.

While I certainly don't want to belittle this game, the truth of the matter is that it's nicer to look at than play. A lot of the story cutscenes are really cute, the animations of characters attacking each other give some added flavor, the menus are done nicely, the sound effects feel good, and the OST is certainly a pop. Sadly, these are all things that don't help Star Stacker's gameplay in a meaningful way, and largely it just feels like a rather half baked game compared to other puzzle games. While I certainly don't think there is no joy to be had, it really just boils down to "there are better puzzle games out there"; hell what probably hurts this game most is that there are better KIRBY PUZZLE games out there. This game is neat for a first run, but just don't expect much.

I watched watchers top 5 dad characters and it really made me think because most of the dad characters I could think of are all kinda the Worst™️ so I wanted to deep dive and assemble my own top 5 ranking:

5. Ned Stark

Is it a basic answer? Maybe. Is it a good answer? Maybe not. Did it only come to mind because I’m currently reading asoiaf? We’ll never know! But heres the why: I’d love to be a Stark, I’d love to live in Winterfell. He clearly loves his kids even though he thought it was a good idea to take a 10 year old to watch him execute someone. Idk we can’t all be perfect. I’d get to have a direwolf!! It’s Sean Bean! What more can I say?

4. Bard (The Hobbit Movies)

Listen, he just radiates comfort. The second he appeared on screen I knew he was the only character in those movies that mattered. He loves his kids. He actively defies and resists the Master of Laketown. He killed a dragon. He’s Lord of Dale. I feel like he’d still be a great dad even after becoming Lord.

3. Stacker Pentecost

The scene where he finds young Mako Mori!! He’s so protective of her! He trained her to pilot a jaeger. He’s a badass who pilots a jaeger. It’s Idris Elba! He gives the most inspiring speech! We are canceling the apocalypse!!! I trust him so much! Again radiates comfort!

2. Bail Organa

This is becoming a theme of characters that I just imprinted on the first time I saw them on screen. Even though he’s literally such a minor character in aotc I IMMEDIATELY was like: this is my favorite guy! Always been a Bail Organa stan. It’s always been hard to explain why I love Bail so much so I guess if you get it you get it. He is so soft with Leia he adores her! And his line in Rogue One “I would trust her with my life” like!!

1. Benjamin Sisko

Thee Most Dad character of all time!! The reason I wanted make this list was to give Sisko the recognition he deserves. He was immediately number one on this list, everbody else I had to think about. He’s legit my favorite star trek captain, he’s the emissary of the prophets which is sick. But aside from that he is such a good father to Jake. He makes time for him (even though they have a lot going on on the station), he is invested in his interests. He has so much love to give. He is warm and such a caring force to his crew. He cooks them real food! He takes them to play baseball! His smile! His laugh! There isn’t anyone who could take his place on this list! Number one fictional dad!
