Uzi also developed her solver powers at a younger age in this au, since she had Nori to guide her through it, she has more control over it. Only her, Nori, and Doll, who was also starting to develop powers, know about it.

She’s a member of the MDCS (murder drone capture squad) Her, Thad, Lizzy, Doll, and some other volunteers. Her mom taught her a lot about the murder drones and helped her develop inventions to use against them. But when her mom never returned to the bunker, and was presumed dead, she and the others formed the MDCS to finally take revenge on the murder drones. (She wanted to be the leader but was out voted in favor of Doll)

She starts to have second thoughts when she finds out that the murder drones aren’t mindless killing machines.

Yuu should act like the leader they were meant to be instead of being just a background piece.

Ace may not have a UM of his own and constantly gets underestimated, but knows how to put his wits and misdirection to good use.

Deuce may be slow when it comes to learning new things and is trying his best to be an honor student to make his mom proud... But he now knows that an honor student doesn't have some other qualities of his and that it can help him in more ways than one.

Jack may be a person who follows his principles well, but maybe, a little bit of personal justice wouldn't hurt. Especially when it comes to his pack.

Epel isn't going back to his old days, he swears! Even if it is tempting sometimes. But ever since he finally started to understand what Vil meant after that conversation with Deuce from VDC, as well as some tips from Yuu... Playing the "poison apple" is quite satisfying once he got used to self-restraint.

Ortho might act optimistic and innocent most of the time because his personality was set to be that of a child, but he's also... very overprotective of those he considers family. He's constantly learning more about the world around him, which also extends to the people he surrounds himself with! So, he shouldn't have much of a problem with... terminating threats to those he cares about. The line between right and wrong is blurry in NRC, after all!

Of course, there's nothing like murder or anything like that!... But the psychological damage/reputation/injuries are enough to scar anyone who goes far enough to do anything funny is quite... unfortunate.

The best-case scenario is when you get spooked enough as a warning! But I don't recommend trying again though. :D

Gay Cheerleaders AU

Y'all knew it was coming.

I'm thinking Lena would be the... third(?) year veteran, who is a legacy. Her mom Lillian was also a cheerleader, and then became the head honcho in charge of the cheerleading division. Lena grew up with the expectation of eventually joining the organization as a dancer, and naturally becomes a group leader (the youngest 1st group leader in the history of the organization?) through her sense of responsibility, magnetism, and compassion, even if she remains a little distant-- she doesn't share her whole self with the team, as she's constantly aware of needing to present the image of a perfect cheerleader, a perfect leader.

Kara would be the rookie, immediately awed by Lena's performance during tryouts. She's not in Lena's group, but her own group leader faces some... personality challenges, lets say, that have Kara taking on more of a responsibility than would normally be allocated to a first year dancer.

But when Kara and Lena end up bumping into each other in the studio for some solo practice, they agree to share the space and work together. Of course they end up bonding, and those practices lead to coffees, lunches, some movie nights.

They eventually become the darlings of the team, inseperably so. Young fans try to catch glimpses of them standing together on the sidelines, loving to see Kara acting herself (aka goofy) and seeing Lena laughing in response. Behind the scenes they become romantically and sexually involved, but they keep it hidden because while it's not explicitly forbidden, they do cheer for a very conservative state, and they know it would impact not only their squad but the team overall.

In their day jobs, Lena is a children's dance teacher-- she wants to do more, but Lillian wants it for the community-service image it presents. Kara would be a fitness trainer I think, something lucrative but flexible and reflective of her athletic and exuberant nature whereas Lena is a bit more reserved.

Kara and Lena span multiple seasons/classes, and in the off season Lena pops up on Kara's instagram a little bit here and there, which only fuels the quiet online rumors about them. Like, the people who clock them are also queer in a conservative region of the country, so it's not a mass pop-culture phenomenon-- yet.

That all changes when one night Lena is grabbed inappropriately by a cameraman or other stadium employee, and can't manage to extricate herself despite her obvious and vocal discomfort. Kara sees red. She slugs the man right across the jaw with a proper right hook. The cameras had only just started to pan over to Lena's commotion and catches the exact moment Kara lunges for him and spins Lena out of his reach.

Kara is the champion/brute of the moment, depending on who's talking. Some laud her for both her protectiveness of her teammate and her technique, while others condemn her for unladylike vigilantism. Why didn't she let the security team deal with it, she serves a role model for young girls what is she teaching them the thug life?

Most importantly-- and most dire, perhaps-- is that it clues Lillian into the deeper nature of their relationship. She corners Lena, and interrogates her as Lena tries and tries to deflect. Lillian all but tells her that she'll be watching Lena through a microscope, and terrifies Lena to the point she breaks up with Kara in an attempt to protect her tenure with the organization.

Kara doesn't really care about all that, but when Lena says it's what she wants, she respects that. Until the team goes to the superbowl, and in the height of emotions at the winning touchdown, Lena forgets herself and throws her arms around Kara's neck and kisses her.

She's stunned at herself, horrified even, but before she can even try to apologize Kara recovers and kisses her again, this time long and slow. The cameras not on the players or stadium stands are focused on them, and the next day and weeks they are the only ones anyone can talk about, for better or worse.

Lillian uses Lena's next year, her fifth and final, as leverage. Apologize publicly for her lapse in judgement, confirm it was only ever friendship, condemn Kara for assault-- or she's out.

Lena listens calmly, then smoothly rises.

"Then I'm out."

She walks out without a second glance.

Hi Ridia-San~

A slightly more serious Gakuen K AU. The school is holding a festival for raising Club Funds and to Club Blues’ horror they somehow got into a reverse maid cafe theme. It doesn’t help that Munakata decided that students will be able to “buy” an hour of someone’s time if they want to (so the guys can enjoy the festival with friends if they’re willing to pay).

Club Red comes around and it’s pretty funny until Yata sees a grumpy Fushimi in a skirt and suddenly is slamming his cash on the table, yelling at the Blue President for being a pervert. After getting some sweats for Fushimi to wear under his skirt, the boys proceed to have a date hang out for the rest of the festival and without any of the clubs following them. (After Munakata pestering them by the third hour, Yata just leaves his card with him)

By the time the fireworks come maybe Fushimi and Yata end up having a moment where they are close and in true shoujo fashion they are interrupted before they can kiss admit they want to be real friends again.

The next day it is revealed that S4 raised the most money, Munakata not-so-subtly thanks Yata for being their Number 1 donor.

Munakata absolutely milking Yata for all he is worth, imagine Yata at some point almost forgets the ‘pay’ part until he gets an angry call from his mom asking how he managed to rack up an $800 charge at a ‘Cafe Justice.’ Imagine it’s school festival time at Gakuen K and all the clubs are doing different things to raise money for activities. Maybe Principal Ichigen thought it would be fun to have a bunch of themes and make the club presidents pull out of a hat for what their club will do, like the Silvers are having a food truck and the Red club is excited to be making a haunted house. Meanwhile the Blue club gets to do a ‘maid cafe,’ when Akiyama tentatively points out there are no girls in their club Munakata grins and pushes up his glasses as he says this is in fact a reverse maid cafe. (Everyone is despairing because they thought they’d get a good theme due to Munakata’s strong luck, little did they know that this was due to Munakata’s Luck of Club Presidents, it’s just he really wanted to see Fushimi-kun in a maid outfit.) The Blue club agrees to keep this quiet in hopes that no one will show up on the day of the festival but worry not, Munakata has placed fliers everywhere featuring a lively hand drawn picture of Fushimi looking demure in a maid outfit. 

Fushimi manages to burn most of those but he misses a few and despite everyone’s best efforts on the day of the festival their cafe is packed. The squad have all been forced to wear maid outfits and even Fushimi couldn’t escape fast enough to avoid it, though of course Munakata is wearing one himself because he wouldn’t be a good leader if he wasn’t willing to carry out any command he gives to his subordinates. Munakata has also had the genius idea that to raise even more funds students can ‘buy’ a maid to spend an hour with (prices vary depending on alphabet boy, Fushimi is naturally the most expensive). Meanwhile Yata managed to miss the part where the Blue club is doing a maid cafe, he was dragged there by Kamamoto in between shifts at the haunted house because Kamamoto heard they have a chef in training making all the dishes. Yata is grumbling about being forced to go to the Blues’ cafe just for a snack and then they step inside and he’s immediately gobsmacked by the sight of many beautiful bishounen in frilly maid outfits. Right on time Fushimi shows up, in a short skirt and garters and wearing a full dead fish expression as he says in a perfectly flat voice that there’s a wait for tables. A moment later he realizes that it’s Yata there and clicks his tongue all we don’t serve thugs, Yata though is too busy reeling because why the fuck is Saruhiko in a dress. Munakata takes that moment to pop up in his ankle length maid outfit as he informs Yata that this is a club activity that Fushimi-kun is proudly participating in, Fushimi grumbles ‘who’s proudly participating?’ under his breath. Munakata adds that Yata can of course rent Fushimi out for a small fee and without even thinking Yata smacks his credit card down, he’s not letting this pervert student council President have Saruhiko for one minute more. 

Yata drags Fushimi away and gives him some track pants to wear, Fushimi grumbles that if Yata wants gratitude for this he should ask someone else. Yata says he didn’t do this so Fushimi could thank him, he just couldn’t believe ‘that guy’ forced Fushimi to do all that. Fushimi scoffs like I can handle myself, I don’t need to be saved by the likes of you. Yata’s ready to fight but then he stops himself and adds that well, he bought Fushimi for an hour so why don’t they check out the rest of festival. Fushimi’s all who says I want to go anywhere with you, Yata reminds Fushimi that since Yata paid for him Fushimi has to stay with him unless he wants to go back to Munakata and say they need to refund. Fushimi doesn’t want to deal with that either and besides the last thing he needs is for some other idiot to try and buy his time, Yata is maybe the least objectionable choice. Yata is relieved, he and Fushimi have pretty much been enemies since they started high school and maybe this is his chance to finally mend things between them. Fushimi is standoffish of course but he tells himself this is just part of his job, he just has to follow Misaki around for a while and then he can leave. 

Cue the two of them going around the whole festival and it’s almost like middle school again, just the two of them enjoying themselves together (‘almost’ because there’s still this unspoken tension between them, and also every hour Munakata will just pop up out of nowhere and remind Yata of his time limit, until Yata just surrenders his credit card to get Munakata to leave them alone). They stop at the Silver club food truck and get some takoyaki, Fushimi complains that it’s too hot and Yata blows on his for him. The Green club has set up like a shooting booth with prizes, though of course they’ve rigged it so no one can win. Fushimi promptly uses his knife throwing skills to win a stuffed monkey, which he shoves at Yata with a grumbled ‘here, why would I want this.’ Eventually even Fushimi can’t entirely keep his walls up too, imagine Yata making some comment and Fushimi finds himself laughing, Yata immediately looks at him with a grin and Fushimi has to look away and cover his expression quickly. 

Soon it’s nearing the end of the festival and there are fireworks. Yata sneaks Fushimi up on the roof, which is supposed to be locked but Yata still has a key the janitor gave him when he helped move some boxes a few weeks ago. They end up with the best view, staring up at the brightly lit night sky and Yata finds his hand reaching out to touch Fushimi’s. Fushimi noticeably tenses and then relaxes, letting Yata’s hand close over his. Yata leans in and manages to stumble out that he’s missed this, that he hates being Fushimi’s enemy and can’t they just be friends again. Fushimi tries to blow him off but Yata is insistent and imagine as they talk they’re both moving closer and closer to each other. Yata finds himself staring into Fushimi’s eyes and he’s like ‘Saruhiko…,’ mouth parting as he moves even closer….and then Munakata pops up to inform him that the festival is over and his time has expired, Fushimi must be heading back to the club room to clean up. Yata is pissed off like what the hell how did you even find us, Munakata is all serenely smiling as he leads Fushimi away. Before he leaves though imagine Fushimi pausing and saying that about what they were talking about before Munakata interrupted…maybe he would try to find a way to say things that even an idiot would understand, if Yata wants to talk again tomorrow. (The next day Fushimi agrees to go talk on the roof again and Yata is thrilled, though also a little harried because he maxed out his credit card and his mom is going to be so pissed. When he stops by the club room to pick up Fushimi Munakata is sure to thank their ‘number one donor’ for his generous contribution.)

Miraculous Animal AU: Theatre Class + Ondine

Ayesha the Lion - She's one lighthearted lion. Ayesha is possibly the only one who can outhappy Rose, and you can often find her gleefully roaring about something or other. Ayesha's always on the prowl, looking for ways to cheer people up. She loves cartoons and watches them with Nathaniel and Petra, even if she doesn't do a good job in drawing them. Whenever she gets down, a good pounce will often put her back into happy spirits.

Dot the Groundhog - Dot loves organizing her burrow along with other trinkets her friends find. Her and Sabrina often sniff the air for the smell of new treats. They also collaborate on maintaining track of projects by the other animals. Dot checks for her shadow every day.

Petra the Woodpecker - Petra's one passion in life is pecking. She drills tiny holes into trees to make drawings, and spends hours on each one making sure it's perfect in their eyes. Woody Woodpecker is their favorite cartoon to watch, and they prefer making art with Nathaniel and Ayesha.

Roxie the Rhino - A hot-tempered Rhino who will always debate their farm friends on any subject. Roxie loves charging, grazing and rolling around in the mud. They act as a bodyguard for their smaller friends and can always sniff out trouble. They can't stand untruths, so they usually keep their distance from Lila.

Anthony the Bat - During the day, he can be rather snarky, but at night is when he truly feels alive. He likes flying around the farm with Eri, using his echolocation to find the location of prey. He and the other gothic animals usually listen to records and brood together. He's very affectionate to his mate, Jesse, often snuggling up in his wool.

Eri the Raven - The Avian Queen of Darkness, and one dramatic raven. Eri's known for her loud caw, her theatricality and appreciation for all things macabre. For this bird, every day is Halloween, and she's always up for a scare. Her mom went viral for cawing Shakespeare and she wants to be an animal actor to follow in her footsteps. Eri loves carrying sticks in her beak and flying around with Anthony.

Candace the Gazelle - Candace is the "mom" of her farm, always making sure that everyone's behaving themselves. She's the leader of a cheer squad, with her, Staci and Margo making noises of encouragement for the other animals. Candace likes grazing and sprinting to remove excess energy.

Staci the Red Panda - The most acrobatic member of the cheerleading trio, Staci likes to swing and climb from branch to branch, munching on bamboo. Don't let the cute and cuddly appearance fool you, she's one of the snarkiest critters in the farm. She'll show her love on the inside, rather than the outside.

Margo the Polar Bear - This cheerful chilly bear is the muscle of the cheer squad, lifting up the other animals. She likes to lumber around, holding knicknacks and climbing on furniture and hunt for a nice fish. Serving as a matchmaker along with Rose, she lets out happy chuffs if she sees mates together. She also loves to cuddle with Lacey and Reshma.

Brecken the Bull - This bull's a country animal at the end of the day. His family originated from Texas, so he's got a big stature and a big heart. A sweet and earnest cow, he loves a good charging as well as nudging his friends and his nightingale mate. His moo will always brighten up your day.

Soo-Yeon the Giraffe - Soo-Yeon has heard all the tall jokes in the book due to being such a large creature. He can be clumsy, tripping over his long legs, but he's always got friends to catch his fall. Soo-Yeon has a fun game where he'll nudge a basketball with Victoria and Adrien. As the "dad" of his farm, he keeps everybody on track.

Parker the Wolf - Even if her friends aren't wolves like her, Parker sees them as members of her pack. She's all about maintaining order and rules, which means she'll often bark at any troublemakers before they cause a scene. She also has a soft side, always trying to motivate the others and keep them from harm. Parker bonds especially with Sabrina and they often howl together at the moon.

Aggie the Alligator - This short Scottish snarker loves basking in the sun and hissing at her friends. She's got gremlin energy and is relatively small for an alligator her age. Aggie loves skateboards and keeps trying to become one herself.

Mona the Sloth - She may be slow, but she isn't slow-witted. Mona is an easy going sloth who prefers it if everyone would just mellow out. She loves napping, almost as much as she loves movies. Mona will often hang on a tree, watching a flick through the window of the house next to the farm.

Evie the Nightingale - A prim and proper bird, Evie's always got a tune to belt out. She is from a long line of famous singingbirds used in circus attractions and has gone viral for her tweets and chirps. She can be a bit of a perfectionist, and stubborn, but knows when to fold 'em if her friends or mate are in trouble.

Eloise the Armadillo - Eloise is a very brainy animal, loving a good math problem, even if she's unable to write out the solution due to her tiny claws. Eloise can always be counted on as a voice of reason, when she's not too busy using her tongue to eat termites and grubs. She does need help making her way around certain areas of the farm due to her poor eyesight.

Anais the Owl - They may always be hooting and pecking, but that's because they're always looking for new scientific discoveries. It and Eloise are the best of pals, always looking to test their intellect. Her favorite thing to do is conduct experiments, even if they are simple by human standards.

Jesse the Sheep - Jesse is a bit sheepish, sort of neurotic, but one of the nicest animals around. He likes to graze quietly, so that he can have some energy when he helps manages little productions the animals put on. He's prone to bleating and having little panic attacks, but some deep breaths and a kiss from his mate Anthony will usually calm him down.

Missy the Shark - Don't let the sharp teeth fool you, Missy is a loyal yet gruff friend. She's very protective of Jesse and Ondine. Her and Kim have had a friendly rivalry since they were babies. She does like to rise from the water on occassion to give visitors a fright.

Ondine the Heron - A sweet swimmer, Ondine loves the water as much as she loves taking flight. Kim is her mate, and she loves nuzzling the monkey with her long beak. Though she can be a bit of a klutz when on land, she's working hard to always be there for her farmyard friends.

“You finally called.” grumbled a croaky voice from the other side of the phone. Sayu sighed and gently put the phone on her bathroom counter.

"Hi, mom." she replied while carefully stroking her straightener to her hair. "How are things at CCG? It's been a week already, and you haven't told me anything."

"I can't talk about patients, mom. There's a secret." Sayu bit her tongue, recalling the past week when no investigator came to her, and who did was just curious about the new girl. Like she read her mind, her mom countered: "Well, do you even have them? I told you to use your father's name. Everybody loved him at CCG, Mado hired you for your name." The temptation to close the call and forget it started forging into Sayu's mind, but she suffocated it. "I know. But I'm not him and investigators need to remember it."

"To think you were to be a prosecutor! I will never understand this psychology thing, Sayu."

She unplugged the hair straightener with too much intensity, heading then to the front door. "I'm late for work, mom. Call you later." without waiting for an answer, she shut the call and opened the door, already tired of the day.

"Seems like the prosthesis is doing its job." reported Doctor Shiba while letting go of the metallic arm and Hide nodded. "Any pain or sore? Did the phantom limb come back?"

"No. Just a bit of an itch in the morning." The doctor smiled, putting away his documents on the big and messy desk. "That's completely normal. You know, there is some new research about using RC cells for regenerating tissues." Hide snorted "Would this make me a Quinx?" Shiba shook his head: "I'd hope not. They're already busy enough." His gaze fell on the table, over a document with Kuki Urie's name printed on it. "What's he up to?" inquired Hide, curiously leaning over. "I shouldn't tell you, but..." he sighed "Urie wants to increase his RC level. If Sasaki grants the permission."

"He won't." blurted Hide, and immediately regretted it. "I mean, why would he? Sasaki knows what is like being a ghoul. He can't let his subordinates know, too." Shiba didn't inquire further, and Hide fell silent, staring at Urie's name engraved on the paper that could change his life. One signature and he would become a laboratory ghoul, a test animal. But, at the same time, a sign of CCG's pride and progress. "It's ironic." he murmured without even thinking "How Kanou's experiments helped create the Quinx." Shiba seemed unfazed by the provocation. "They did. But I'd argue that at least we ask for consent." Hide stroked his cheek, lost in thoughts, psyched by the passion of adhering to the Quinx program: becoming a ghoul, at least in part, to fight other ghouls. Transforming into the creature everyone hates, but willingly for the sake of the people and the strength of CCG. Kanou is a mad scientist, but Shiba is the revolutionary doctor. Ghouls disguise and fight, and Quinx are on the stage for anybody.

Ken Kaneki is a terrible monster to destroy, but Haise Sasaki is the new leader and hope.

Then what am I?

"Mister Nagachika?" a worried whisper caught him out of his thoughts and when he turned around, a lanky figure stood shyly in front of him. Hide immediately recognised Tooru Mutsuki, another of the Quinx Squad, especially from his white eyepatch. So similar to another eyepatch, of someone else, another past.

"Cool eyepatch." He commented with a smile, which Mutsuki returned. "Oh, thanks. I'm still trying to manage the eye." He kept looking around the room as if waiting for something to happen, and Hide caught the signal to leave. "Well, I'm done here. See you Dr. And you too, Mutsuki." Mutsuki smiled politely, but his mind wandered off, imagining stopping Nagachika, to corner him. He would even tie him if necessary, and then ask a million questions about Sasaki. His past, the person he was, the pain he suffered. The fight against Serpent was still a fresh memory, with Sasaki's screams echoing in his ears. He could never forget the terror, the shock of hearing Akira define him as an S-class ghoul and then shooting him. Striking down his mentor, the man who had just protected the whole squad, treated like a monster. Sasaki couldn't even speak about it, too frightened by his past to even face it, full of dark secrets that needed to be kept hidden.

Nagachika was a time bomb, ready to explode at any time and ruin Haise, bringing him back to that past, to the tormented and violent ghoul he once was. Mutsuki clenched his fist, while a bitter rage climbed up his stomach, twisting the insides. He wouldn't ever let anyone take him away, destroying the Quinx.

Whatever the costs.

Akira smiled less than usual while welcoming Hide into her office. "If it's about another complaint from Marude, remind him I didn't make that quinque."

"It's not that," she replied coldly, pointing to the chair in front of her desk. Hide waited for her to sit, looking around confused. "What is it? You seem upset." Akira bit her lip and took a long breath, preparing for the stab she was about to pull.

"There's no easy way to say it." Hide stiffened on the chair, more confused than ever. "Akira, what's going on? You're scaring me." She sighed once more and closed her eyes for what felt like eternal seconds, then opened them again and locked onto Hide's gaze.

"Torso's case is becoming harder, and it's not the only one we must follow.  The Quinx Squad is good, but in times like this, we need all the help. You are one of the best minds we have."

"No." He whispered, but Akira didn't listen.

"Director Washuu asked you to help with the investigations. We need you to work with the Quinx. With Haise Sasaki."

Hide was paralyzed, unable to answer, his brain buzzing into a million thoughts, all rushing against each other in a frantic flow. the last four years flashed in front of him: the pain, the new beginnings, the day Arima told him about Haise.

"Kaneki is now imprisoned in Cochlea. I'll spare you the details, but know that after the program, he will be an investigator, with a new identity." Hide felt his lungs dry up. "How is it possible? We've been his enemies for years."

"He doesn't remember it. He has severe amnesia of everything that happened, even of his name." Hide got up trembling, only wanting to flee that room. "What have you done to him?"

Arima didn't even flinch, piercing Hide with his eyes. "Nothing other ghouls haven't done before, or even himself. We are the law. Do not forget it."

Hide took a long breath, feeling his heart race in his ears. He fixed his gaze on Akira's face, determination etched across his face, so intense she almost got scared.

"His name is Ken Kaneki."

The Lego Ninjago Movie but it’s a D:BH AU

So basically— the Ninjago movieverse is styled like the world of Detroit:Become Human. Dr. Julien (who I hc in the m!verse is actually a good dad to his sons) builds Zane and Echo as the first sentient androids and takes great care of them— until his old coworker turns on him. This coworker, Jacob Harvey (nicknamed “The Mechanic”) captures Zane and wipes his memories while Dr. J and Echo manage to escape. Now armed with the plans to make nindroids, The Mechanic builds Cyberlife and starts his nindroid-selling empire.

He also has Cyrus captured to make more plans for him, leaving him with two assistant nindroids (Pixal “Pel” and Sentry, who obvious Cyrus goes “my kids now” and helps become deviant)

Zane was the original deviant in the sense that he was the original nindroid built to be sentiment and free (aka he didn’t need to be deviant), but after getting semi-reset he forgets and will need to become deviant to regain that ability

Now moving onto the others—

Lloyd is human (well, maybe still part oni-dragon because this IS Ninjago— the dragon is from his mom’s side, btw) and lives with Koko. Nya is his semi-adopted sister (Koko helps caretake for Maya and Ray while they travel on business trips).

Nya’s younger twin brother, Kai, is a nindroid (one of the “kid” models who’s specialty is “aging with human kids as a sibling so they don’t get lonely”). He originally does the chores at home because he’s expected to, but Nya and Lloyd help him become deviant because he’s scared he’ll get replaced if he doesn’t do the chores right. Kai’s the closest equivalent to “Kara’s story”, though less extreme, where Nya (who might secretly be a nindroid too, I’m not sure) runs away with him and Lloyd because a civilian finds out Kai’s deviant during the whole deviant situation and he becomes wanted.

(Side note— along with Kai came a 2-for-1 of the same model, a faulty nindroid names Kaigami who Koko took in for a while— this is the equivalent of movie!Bizarro Kai and later becomes the adopted sibling of movie!Cryptor)

Speaking of movie!Cryptor (or Zero, as I call him), he and Zane are the equivalent of “Connor’s story” where Zane needs to learn how to be deviant (again) while Zero is an incredible efficient deviant hunting nindroid (except, plot twist, he’s actually deviant and has been helping deviants escape for years by pretending to kill them). He was built by the Mechanic and he wants to take down his creator who sees him as nothing more than just a machine.

Rest of the Dorksquad time— Cole is human, though more of a cyborg after an accident (he’s kind of the ‘Cole Anderson’ equivalent, except he lives), and he stumbles upon Jericho by accident and befriends the nindroids there. He brings supplies from outside and updates them on news, and sometimes he DJs a bit for moral.

And Jay is the “Markus” equivalent. He’s an advanced prototype model that was gifted to Cliff Whoredon Gordon and worked for him for a little bit until he stumbled upon a meeting between Cliff and a mafia leader (named Master Chen). Cliff had him thrown to the junkyard in very rough shape where he managed to patch himself up with spare parts and was found and adopted by the young couple (Ed & Edna) running said junkyard. He then meets the rest of the squad and sorta accidentally becomes one of the leaders of the nindroid revolution as part of the “Secret Ninjaforce”.

Bonus— Chen (the Cheerleader) is also a nindroid who eventually gets kicked out by his human family, the Ambers (including movie!Skylor, who is an evil girlboss, and her dads, Master Chen and Clouse) and finds his way to Jericho as well

And yeah that’s the main basics, not too much else planned out yes (it was originally a SPBNR AU too, so show!Kai and show!Zane might show up, much to the latters bewilderment at how there are more nindroids but they are treated worse, and sometimes other show!nindroids make an appearance)

I guess it's finally time to explain the ghost & some comments I made in the Pride Month post.

So yeah I gave Infinite a dad, for some reason I got inspired by a fic on A03(I still have a link but the fic has been deleted) were Sonic apparently knew Infinite in the past back when he was Finn & despite Infinite being a war criminal Sonic wanted to help him thanks to past memories/promise. Yeah I've turned this into that thing I did with Sally.

Asides from the fact I named Infinite's dad Finn due to the fic that I got inspiration for him from I also gave Infinite the name Zero because that & sometimes Finn were popular names to give him when he wasn't being Infinite.

I kinda find it interesting to see Infinite redeemed, I wasn't sure at first but some stuff involving Infinite was interesting & I've kinda made Mephile redeemed in the past.(Grant it it's him in a reboot of the world & actually feels guilt for his past actions now that he's lived in a time were he got to have a life)

I dunno why but I gave Infinite movie Robotnik's outfit, I guess it looks fitting.

Finn:

Finn was one of Sonic's friends growing up, Finn use to live down the road from Sonic's adopted parents before Robotnik attacked & burnt Sonic's house down. They eventually met again when Finn started living with the part of the resistance Chuck lived with. By the time they meet again when Sonic is traveling with his siblings Finn was an active member of the resistance, traveling around to help while also hoping to run into Sonic.

Finn was an energetic guy, while he can't keep up with Sonic's speed he loves the thrill of running with him & is fairly fast. After losing his home & moving into a community the resistance was in Finn realized he wanted to help & started doing what he was able to since he was to young to go on missions. Helping out with the younger kids & making sure everyone was ok lead to helping him become a leader figure, when he met Sonic again he stayed by his side & helped him get along with everyone. As he got older Finn helped on missions, traveling to other areas to help the resistances in those areas & tell them what news he could.

He was devastated when Sonic went missing but eventually tried to move on for his & Sonic's sake keeping Sonic's memory alive. He eventually moved to the main land with his son & retired to a life of peace(along with maybe secretly doing some writing) eventually taking up painting. While a strong & smart man he sadly was growing weak in his old age thanks to becoming ill, despite moving on Sonic was always on his mind at times leading to telling his family about Sonic to keep his memory alive. In his dying days he hoped for the best for Zero, hiding some important things for him which was common for people back during the war.

Infinite/Zero:

Zero's life had a lot of ups & downs, mostly downs from losing his mom at a young age to constantly getting in trouble as a kid. The only things that kept him going were his father Finn & his ragtag group of friends that eventually became the Jackal Squad.

Zero lost his father a few days after the ill man fell down the stairs during their final argument about Zero being brought home by the police. Zero was heart broken but Finn never blamed him & was more worried about Zero being on his own. Zero & his friends eventually disappeared only to show up as the Jackal Squad only to later lose them when Shadow fought them after Zero chose to work for Eggman. He eventually went mad from not being strong enough & past mistakes leading to allowing Eggman to use him for the Phantom Ruby.

After the events of Sonic Forces at some point he was found while everyone was rebuilding, he was wondering alone & without the Phantom Ruby. It seems the unknown time he was gone & also getting the Phantom Ruby removed he'd come out of his insanity enough to regret a lot of life choices. Surprisingly Sonic is the one to allow him to redeem himself despite some of his friends(Shadow, Rouge & Knuckles, Vanillia if she was there) knowing fully well Sonic was terrified & traumatized.

Sonic wanted to try & give him a second chance since he could see Zero regretted his actions with a clearer head & something seemed to make Sonic talk the others into letting him redeem himself. Zero is currently being kept an eye on by some of the ex-resistance(from Sonic Forces not Underground) & staying Gadget, who has finally returned from traveling & helping out.

It's a long journey & frustrating on both sides but Zero is still going, trying to prove he's not going to become Infinite again & growing close to Gadget & Sonic. Now if only he could figure out why Sonic thought he was Finn, he can't help but faintly remember his dad telling him about a blue hedgehog. After losing Finn Zero has kept his favorite bandana safe & now wears it over where the Phantom Ruby was.

Weirdly enough originally a couple weeks back(when I posted this originally on DA) I wasn't sure how I wanted to go with Zero, at some point at the time I wanted to make it seem like there was doubt Zero was Infinite but imply he was either a clone or some how part of Infinite was in a clone body.

Zero's memories would allow him to answer some questions but also make him at times question if he's the real Infinite, either way he's willing to be punished for Infinite's crimes as he feels guilt for his other self's actions. In the end I wasn't sure if I wanted nothing to happen so Infinite is gone & Zero is doing better or Infinite shows up, tries to attack but is either defeated by Gadget & Zero or Zero defeats him, they become whole again with Zero in control & continuing his community service while everyone is more positive about him now that he's shown he's not evil.

Yeah everything but Finn is a mess. Funny enough for a little I wasn't sure if I wanted Zero to be Finn's son or grandson before settling on being Finn's son.

aerti unchau is in fact an aerith/tifa uncharted au I came up with with @edains like four years ago (haha what is time...) in this au tifa worked with barret to steal artifacts and return them to their rightful land but I as putting her more in the elena type role of uncharted and then aerith showed up as the last survivor from a place that had been ransacked years ago looking for the team to get her things back, so really less uncharted more generic but it started as an uncharted idea

ashkaidan stargate is also what it says on the lid where they're on a stargate team with shep as the leader and the rest of the me1 squad, and then me2 squad was it's own group, and me3 squad. legion was like a replicator style machine in this universe and tali was from the race that built the replicators but I never got around to writing that point in the story I just really liked it.

Ashley was fairly certain she could time how long the gate took to dial a planet to a T in her head. She'd seen it well over a hundred times but when the last connection was made and the gate whooshed open with a brilliant flash of blue and white it always made the breath catch in her throat. She shifted slightly, trying to get rid of some of excitement and nervous energy that always came with the start of a mission and traveling to a new world. The M.A.L.P. had shown them that this world would be covered in ice and snow though it shouldn't have been given the planets location to the sun. Jeice found himself pondering. He was walking around deep in thought. He was... Debating something. He's been dating Mikumi, Zarbon's Daughter for years. And... He loved her. But when he was talking to her about their previous relationships. He found out that she was involved with Captain Ginyu, and that they had a child together but it passed.

Jeice normally wouldn't care, but... He couldn't help but feel insecure knowing his own leader was involved with his girlfriend in the past. Jeice... Did know. But it didn't bother him, before she said all this. And now, he felt like he wasn't good for her. Ginyu was his leader, he was his second in command and he valued him.

But why was he jealous? Mikumi loved him and only him... He knew what he had to do. So he steeled himself and walked to her room. Upon arriving he took a deep breath.

"Mikumi, we need ta talk." He said.

"About what?" Her angelic voice said, Jeice only felt more guilty about what he was about to say.

"About us… Fahkin' too right, mate." Jeice said, Mikumi frowned.

"What about us?" Mikumi asked once more.

"U-Um..." Jeice swallowed a lump he didn't even know was there.

Come on, Jeice. Ya can say it. Just tell hah ya want ta break up. Give hah the bloody, "it's not ya, it's me."

Jeice was struggling, he couldn't bring himself to... Well, speak. But seeing her face, he finally decided to do it. He took a deep breath.

"Well, I want to bre-" Before he can say it, a bright light engulfed the room and caused Jeice to shield his eyes, Mikumi did too, and when the light subsided, he saw a figure that looked similar to him, light red skin- though, his was dark red. Golden Eyes, White hair similar to his, he wore a ripped denim jacket that was black and had a dark red undershirt, ripped blue jeans with a brown belt and holster with a gun, and white socks with red and white sneakers.

This kid was a carbon copy of him, down to the look, and exception of eyes. Jeice blinked a bit and before he could speak the kid spoke up.

"I'm JJ, I am here to say, whatever you're going to say next is going to ruin things." The kid now known as JJ said.

"Wat ahah ya saying?" Jeice asked.

"I'm saying, don't do what you're about to do." JJ urges.

"Wy?" Jeice asked once more.

"Just don't. It'll effect the future." JJ said.

JJ Lebeau, was someone who spent most of his days cleaning up any messes in any timeline. Mostly ones interlinked with his personal life. He wasn't like his associate Trunks at all when it came to fixing the past and protecting everyone there. JJ wanted to ensure his spot in the multiverse he grew up in.

So mix in his job with his passion for his family and you get a cocktail of conflicts. JJ was supposed to work with other universe's as part of his job but he couldn't help it if he hears a call from a Universe that had an instance of his parents being at the verge of a breakup he'd go.

But currently this doesn't matter, the universe he went to WAS the universe where he was conceived in. If he didn't do anything to prevent them from breaking up. His existence would be nothing essentially.

By this time, you already are well aware that JJ is Jeice and Mikumi's son from the future. A fact that he kept from any iteration of his parents as per the rules of the Time Patrol Squad. Atleast with their branch of things.

Time Patrollers are often sent to fix "Timeline Issues" they aren't directly allowed to speak to the people who they are interacting with. While what he and his buddies do are fixing timelines that had been damaged during shenanigans. Think of Zamasu and Goku Black.

JJ was born as Jeice Junior. His mom and dad had named him that because according to his Dad, he was "special and your mom wanted to show how much she loved me." If he was a girl they would have named him Jeica. Although he remembered having a sister named Jeica...

His parents were very much in love which he found very sweet. But things got very ugly quick in the past. Apparently his parents were going to break up because his father- with his unresolved insecurities and jealousy issues- had found out that Ginyu, someone who JJ considered a family friend and Uncle was involved with his Mom in the past.

His father freaked out and instead of telling his mother about his insecurity was preparing to break up with her. JJ knew he has to do something and that's what he did.

Currently, Jeice was confused about the male in front of him. He just told him... About how he'd regret his decision. What does this stranger who looks suspiciously like him.

He began to believe there's something more to this kid then there is. And he turned to face Mikumi.

"Mikumi… We'll av this chat lader." Jeice said.

"No, we need to discuss this now, you don't simply just come in here and ask to talk about our relationship and not do anything!" Mikumi snaps.

Jeice winced, he felt like a bad boyfriend now.

"I… I look, i was garn ta ask ta break up-" Jeice starts.

"Why?"

"I said I was not liyyke I was garn ta do it!" Jeice argues.

"I need to fucking know why!" Mikumi snaps.

"It's because of Ginyu okay!" Jeice said.

Mikumi was shocked. "G-Ginyu? Why?" She asked.

"…It's… I don't know, I am fahkin' afraid that ya… Might leave me fawr him. I would nevah be as good as gold as him!" Jeice said, he was on the verge of tears.

"...Jeice, I... I would never leave you... Why are you saying all this?" Mikumi asked.

"Evah since ya tol' me about ya 'n ginyu's past… I was fahkin' afraid ya might leave me fawr my best cobber." Jeice sobs on the floor. Mikumi looked at Jeice worried and hugged him.

"Jeice... I would never leave you... I love you too much for that to be a thing." Mikumi said, wiping his tears away.

"I know, i just… Seein' ya get too close… I.. Can't help but think it." Jeice said.

"Because I was with Ginyu in the past doesn't mean I would go back with him. I... I love you and only you..." Mikumi said.

"…I… I know… I'm sawrry…" Jeice said.

"I love you, never forget this..." Mikumi said.

JJ looked at his "parents" and disappeared.

I will say i blame no one its basically a non issue but i do find evil au draxums very funny. Like! he little is a villian he DID want to destory humanity he does have a villain music number. all true. also his turning sides is s2 so. BUT ANYWAY. very funny to have him be like. evil maybe abusive dad type in aus. im sorry the guy who using 2 tiny incompetent gargoyles as henchmen/paldrons... he lets em sleep in the little dog bed..... 🥺. Hes a cartoon villian but hes got offers dental typa guy... imho.

Also personal i think these a tendacy to lean donnies personality too far in any direction. why nerf his autism swag like that... he drinks flavourless juice AND invented the messiest nasty looking sandwich ever. sometimes he does not like touch sometimes he throws his dad into the air to hug him. he has LAYERS.

LAST THING. my bro said to mention gay coded leo cause "im homophobic". jhgfdb. I just didnt read him as particularly more queer coded than his brothers.... theyre ALL a little flamboyant okaayyyyyyy. turtles are lgbtq (what all at once? yes.)

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

are there unpopular characters in rise kinda feel... not really. ILL SAY. Casey senior just cause she kinda takes the back seat after movie with casey jr..... do yall understand how many fake outs she was.... you could think shes karai due to being in the foot clan or maybe think shed get mutated into mona lisa (her voice actress played the one in 12!).

BUT NAW! angry bruser, sporty, vigilanty CASEY JONES. I love her..... also that she joins the squad cause SPLINTER. was like. oh a troubled youth... they need guidance. extremely cute. 90s movie splinter moment. based. thing we were robbed of #587. Rise casey and raph BREAKING SHIT together. as fweinds....

18. it's absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on...

i really like thinking about the arcs we didnt get to see in unfinshed rest of season 2 and 3.... there was gonna be more mystic stuff, the family actually getting along with draxum more naturally.... GIRL TURTLES (<- dissolves into goo).

i wanna think about it. i wanna think about the raph leo becoming co leaders thing.... the showwww so so so primed for them working together and not having a direct hiercharly system fits cause this is the iteration they designed to be more like a typical family. that why splinter had a career that is not. ninja master. lol, thats why they are different ages (sorry to any quadruplets out there). and after the ages where the childhood developmental stages that are gonna favour the eldest sibling. Most siblings do not have one leader they have to listen to abt shit. [That aint a diss on how other iterations are its just a different essay lol...]

as for something that actually ended up IN the show... fav fav moment makes me cry when every i rewatch or even THINK ABOUT IT. The moment that lets Splinter reconcile the pain that the Hamato clan brought him, with the legacy, intention, and love, it was created with.

Under cut cause its some of the very last stuff that happened in the show.

The moment when Splinter's mom, (had to check ->), Atsuko shows up with the rest of the Hamato ancestors. she puts her hands next to splinter and she looks at him so so fondly and she repeats HIS action movie catch phrase. and THATS the moment Splinter, Hamato Yoshi can like. come to peace about the clans legacy.... Perfect culmination of his arc....

like it PROVES. his whole life the legacy of this clan was what was taking his family AWAY. his mom, probably his grandpa? he was suppose to let his sons GET MARTYRED. he left his family, as they had left him. but as they say anata wa hitori janai.... his mom still saw!!! HIS LIFE. his movies. Sees him as he grew, as a mutant, and the love between family is literally magic that keeps them together. THATS what Karai wanted it to be..... I jsut think we should talk about and the sad rat man healing from generation trauma. MAYBE. Cause he loves his mommy. [finally. A splinter with MOMMY ISSUES/BRICKED]

Pt3 of the Ash AU teams, Johto edition.

Gonna try to shorten it a bit compared to last time. Johto has a special place in my heart so I wouldn't really change a lot of the story, but I will cover team changes I make.

As usual, the final team of this AU, and remember this is just for fun.

So before we really begin, let's go over the beginning releases:

Ash would leave Snorlax at home like usual, finding that he's pretty at ease on the ranch. He'd take the rest of the Orange team- Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Espeon with him.

Getting to Johto, Ash would still catch Heracross first, and he'd still be a bit weird around Venusaur- except Venusaur can flick him away now with vines.

Charizard will still train in Charrific Valley, but instead of Ash being a big jerk about it, he instead comes to realize that Charizard got as strong as he did without Ash for the most part (in this AU), and he believes he's truly holding Charizard back from his full potential. He promises to reunite with him again (as they would in the movie and Clair's gym/the Silver Conference), but the goodbye is tearful and Ash makes a run for it before he can truly change his mind.

Chikorita would join closely after that happens, and Venusaur actually takes a bit if a mentorship to her for as long as he's on the team.

However, Oak would request Venusaur to come back home much sooner in the series to help deal with the Pokemon on the ranch. This is another tough goodbye, but again, they promise to see each other again.

Cyndaquil would eventually join the team as usual.

Blastoise would be left behind with Officer Jenny and the Squirtle Squad again, now with more Wartortles and Squirtles. The previous leader Blastoise appointed eventually decided to go on a journey of its own, and the rest of the gang was in disarray. Blastoise takes an easy leadership role again, and Ash realizes he has to leave ANOTHER friend behind. He does so knowing that things are different now, that the Squad are actually doing great things now, and need Blastoise's guidance. Like Charizard, Blastoise would come back again and NOT be forgotten for the most part Luke Squirtle was in the anime. Like Jesus they WROTE HIM GONE.

Anyway, Ash eventually catches Totodile, same as before.

So that leaves us with this team. This would sort of happen by the first gym or so, so everything is a bit fast paced, but Ash eventually comes to terms with this as a sort of fresh start. This team would stick for the first 3 gyms with the new gang gaining some important victories.

However, Team Rocket is back in Johto with a vengeance. Unlike the anime, we'd see the rocket executives make an appearance, and like the games, they play hardball. Ash actually fights Archer as he tries an early attempt at Goldenrod tower, and his Houndoom (Ash at this point is still not familiar with Dark types). Houndoom is powerful and with most of Ash's team being under powered, Espeon is the only one left that's able to defend Ash and the gang. Espeon truly loves his friends, and unleashes EVERYTHING to send Team Rocket (not Jesse, James, Meowth, or Wobbuffett) somewhere far away so they can't hurt anyone else. However, Espeon pushed itself too far after taking serious abuse from Houndoom, and even the gem in his forehead gets cracked, and Nurse Joy tells Ash that Espeon must stay away from battles for a while. Espeon doesn't want to leave Ash's side, and Ash wallows in self pity for allowing him to get this hurt. He decides to call his mom for advice- she tells him a bit about how his dad used to liken being a good trainer to being a good parent, and sometimes parents have to make tough decisions for the ones they love. She even offers to take in Espeon and pamper him until he feels better. Ash sees Primeape and Arcanine actually living pretty cheerfully with Deliah and Mimey, and Ash makes the very difficult but kind decision to send Espeon back home, thanking him for all the fun times they had together and for loving him enough to evolve into this form. Espeon won't fight again until the Johto league, but there's probably a beach episode towards Cianwood where Deliah brings Espeon, Primeape, Arcanine, and Mimey with her on vacation.

Ash spends a bit of time soul searching, wondering if he is even cut out to be a trainer anymore. Brock and Misty try to assure him that it wasn't even his fault, Archer and Houndoom were just that tough and Espeon chose to fight to protect them all. Still, Ash recognizes key mistakes he made, and almost considers going home.

Then he encounters Noctowl, the gang's first ever shiny encounter. It's a Pokemon that makes Ash and Pikachu remember seeing Ho-oh for the first time, and the others urge him to try and catch it- mainly to try and get his mind off of Espeon for a bit. Ash almost refuses, but a poacher threatens to catch it to sell it to the highest bidder. Ash defends Noctowl from said poacher and with the help of his loyal team even sends him blasting off. Ash tells Noctowl to fly off and be free, but Noctowl actually chooses to battle Ash instead, basically seeing Ash's kindness and wanting to test him. Ash eventually catches him, and although he is a bit aloof, Ash has a renewed spark in his eyes and decides to continue the challenge.

Sometime after Ecruteak, we start seeing the gang evolve. Cyndaquil would actually evolve first among the trio- fitting because he literally evolves sooner gamewise (seriously why did they wait til the end of Sinnoh?). He evolves after intense training at the lighthouse. Quilava loses his timidness and is a bit cooler here- but not to the point of disobeying. His Flame Wheel ends up becoming a powerful technique to rely on.

Bayleef evolves like usual to protect him from TR and is sad she can't ride on Ash's shoulder anymore, but still loves him enough to tackle him to the ground.

Totodile would evolve during the trip to Cianwood, where he literally parties so hard on the ferry he evolves right then and there. He's still a goofy, dancing goober- Misty even remarks that it was cuter when he was tiny- but now he wants to dance with other people as well when he gets very happy. Croconaw actually ends up being pretty strong and learns both Rain Dance and Surf- of which he sometimes uses Rain Dance by complete accident. It takes a bit of training from the gang to help him suppress Rain Dance, but it would actually come in handy in the future.

The journey continues mostly as normal, including reuniting with Richie in the Whirl Islands, beating Jasmine, etc.

But then we get to the Lake of Rage, where Team Rocket is emitting a signal that forces Pokemon to evolve. To help quell the Red Gyarados with Lance, Ash tries to use Croconaw to fight- but the signal reaches him as well and triggers an evolution while also causing him to go berserk. Lance tells Ash and the others to only use fully evolved Pokemon or Pokemon like Pikachu that require outside help to evolve, and with the help of Pikachu, Heracross, and Noctowl, they eventually calm the rampaging Pokemon of the lake.

Ash and the others worry deeply about Feraligatr and apologize for having to hurt him, but as it turns out, he's not bothered at all by it and just dances again like nothing happened. It's a relief to see him still be the loveable goof ball he is, and he utilizes his newfound strength in important battles down the road.

For anyone wondering why I chose Totodile specifically to fully evolve and not the others, it'll make sense a bit further down the road, but also I still dislike that he's the only one of the Johto trio that never evolved (remember, we're not immune to the "too cute to evolve" routine). Bayleef I left alone because I actually agree with the decision to leave it as is, because it does look sportier than Meganium. Quilava... again, you'll see.

But for now this is Ash's full Johto team that will take him to the league. Other big story changes here are that Blastoise and the Squirtle Squad would help put out flames caused by the Gyarados at the lake of Rage and give Ash an important reunion. Charizard does still come back to help fight Clair, but Ash has Feraligatr helping as well.

At some point the gang go back to help stop a second Rocket Takeover, and Ash and Archer have a rematch. Archer tries to get under Ash's skin about being such a pitiful trainer that he injured Espeon, but Pikachu and the rest of the team stand up for Ash, defying Archer's nasty attempt to dishearten him again. This time they win in a proper battle and Ash quietly saved Johto AND Kanto from a wide spread evolution frequency like at the Lake of Rage. He gets a few interviews, a few sponsorships, and Ash even gets an egg from the daycare center in thanks.

Then we have the boy. Ash still gets Phanpy as an egg, and I'd imagine he'd tag along in Heracross's place for a bit as well in some cases like a movie short. However, Phanpy would actually evolve pretty quickly in the league after several tough matches. Donphan is still pretty cute acting, actually about as gentle as he was as a baby, and is very sweet towards the others.

By this point, Ash and Gary have a final match in the Johto league, and Ash brings in some big guns. Like the actual league, Ash brings Pikachu, Snorlax, Heracross, and Charizard, but in this AU he also brings out Ferakigatr and Espeon- a surprise last addition who has finally recovered.

It's a tough fight, Gary taunts Ash a lot and says hes not worthy to be a trainer, and Ash tells Gary that he thought so for a while, too, but his friends and Pokemon have taught him a lot and he's matured since their early rivalry in Pallet Town. This is finally the time Ash will win, he swears it.

It's a tough fight, but a huge key moment comes from Feraligatr setting up Rain Dance right before falling to Gary's Blastoise, which allows Pikachu to land Thunder at higher power and without worrying about accuracy. Ash finally wins, and as Gary is about to leave, he considers quitting after losing to someone like him. But Ash reveals that, even though Gary is a stuck up jerk and full of himself, Ash always wanted to be his friend and to be seen as his equal. That's all he ever wanted from him, really. Gary finally mellows out, says he has some thinking to do, and thanks Ash for being honest. They'll meet again, maybe on better terms.

Then Ash loses the league again lol. Gotta get to Hoenn sonehow.

Going forward, I either agree with plot decisions for the most part, only have small revisions to make, or simply have not watched enough of the anime past this point to really make too much of an informed decision beyond teams.

There's a few surprises on the horizon of course, but tomorrow's will probably be shorter.

For the next few episodes it continues like normal. Winter is their big sibling, there’s no universe in which they’d do something so terrible, so Ozander and Ophia just ignore the elephant in the room whenever they’re home, they are in Hardcore denial mode.

Then something happens and Winter gets outed as Cloudweaver. Ophia immediately goes on the defensive, asking how Winter could do such an awful thing. Ozander on the other hand, is just trying to hold back tears. This is their big sibling, why would the person who pushed them both to enter into the academy be a villain?

The main question the partners ask is Why? Just why?

To which Winter tells them it’s a long story.

Cw: Child abuse, running away

Well, the best way to start this is at the beginning. You two weren’t born yet, but our mom and dad… they fought a lot, and I learned to hide in the closet. They weren’t good people, but I was young, what choice did I have.

Then you two were born, and I realized it was my job to protect you. I taught you everything I knew, how to walk, how to talk, how to avoid our parents wrath. I took the fall for you two where I could. If you broke a toy playing too rough, it was my fault. If you were too loud and it woke them up, it was my fault…

Then one day I… I overheard mom “joking” about killing us. And I realized… she could, it’s not like anyone would come looking if we stopped existing. That was the day I vowed we’d run away. It’s nothing short of a miracle we made it out before they knew we were gone.

Ophia: “Wait, why didn’t you go to the police?”

Winter: You don’t think I didn’t try? When I told them what happened they said they needed to get the second party involved. I knew what that meant and booked it before they could send us back.

Ozander: “Well what about odd squad? They would have taken us in.”

Winter: I tried odd squad. But as soon as I mentioned why we needed protections from the villains in question… they kicked us out because of our bio family.

Ozander: “Are we-?!”

Winter: “I kept on running we lived on the streets for a while. It wasn’t easy, but we were safe. I tried CPS, hell I tried every child welfare agency I heard of but no one saw past the fact that I was a child. I’d gather change on the ground and buy us a small piece of food a day. It wasn’t much but it kept us alive.

Then one day about three weeks after, I was searching for change when around the corner I saw a villain (noisemaker I think) surrounded by odd squad agents. I could have walked away but I knew he was just trying to get by, same as we were, so I kicked over a trash can giving him enough time to escape. In return for my kindness, he offered me one in return, a place to stay.

Winter was coming, things were going to get harder than they already were. So I accepted. They gave me a job, I was the diversion, and in turn for doing well, we were given a home, food and safety. When I felt safe enough to tell them about what happened, they started my training.

Ophia: what training?

They started trying to activate and then control my powers. They trained me for a few years then I was sent on missions to cause oddness. Afterward I traveled the world on business trips, creating everything from pienados to spaghetti storms.

Ozander: But why push us to get involved in odd squad, why volunteer to help so much? Wouldn’t that just increase your chances of getting caught?

Winter: I needed a backup plan, if they ever found us, and the villains couldn’t stop them… I needed you two to be safe. I need you two to stay safe, odd squad takes care of its agents, if you were agents you’d be safe.

Ozander: Who’s they? And what was that about us being related to someone odd squad doesn’t take in?

Winter: … our parents. They were the old leaders of the villains, they got kicked out pretty fast when I came forward with what happened.

Ozander: Didn’t you say they were dead? As in we have visited their graves every year for the past decade, kind of dead.

Winter: That was a lie… I didn’t want you to get curious and get hurt.

Ozander: That wouldn’t have happened!

Winter: That’s what happened here.

Ophia: Where are they now?

Winter: I’m not certain but from what I know they’re locked in a lead box, in the middle of a mountain. But I know if they ever escaped…. I try not to think about that.

Ozander: What about now?

Winter: ?

Ozander: Are you still working for the villains.

Winter: No. Remember when I had that accident? I told you I got hurt at work, not necessarily a lie but not the full truth either. On my last mission, I was out creating a massive storm, Odd Squad attacked. I got away mostly, a piece of debris had hit me. I had to get it removed and on my x-ray they found my hip impingements. One thing led to another and another and another and when I was getting fitted for crutches I realized I couldn’t do this anymore, not that they’d have let me.

I also realized that if I was going to quit, I needed to make a clean break. So I erased my information from the seamstress’s books. Sold our place, bought a new one, changed my name, transitioned and put all of my villain stuff into a box and hid it in a wall. I became someone unrecognizable to those who knew me before, who at most could say I looked familiar.

And that’s it, you know the full story now.

Ozander: That’s It?!!! That’s all you have to say for everything you’ve done?! *is standing up, yelling*

Winter: yeah. I don’t regret it, creating those storms gave us everything. I do regret all of the innocent people who got hurt as a result though.

-Miss O is knocking at the door, they’re forty minutes over the interrogation time allotment-

Ophia: Get rid of them.

Winter: What?

Ophia: If you created all of the pienados and spaghetti storms and weird weather in the world, then fix it, get rid of them.

Winter: I can’t.

Ophia: *visibly angry* why not.

Winter: I can’t create, nor destroy weather, that’s not how it works. I just channeled it, using my paintbrush to redirect it into what I wanted. I can’t get rid of them because the elements already mixxed, creating their own unique product that cannot be undone. Like mixing blue and yellow, you get a new color that cannot be separated back into just yellow and just blue. Even if I had my paintbrush with me.

- I’m not sure how I would continue that scene, but I do know that things would ramp up quickly since Cloudweaver isn’t part of the Villain union and not entitled to the benefits. I remember contemplating having them end up in a psych ward for a bit, but I wasn’t comfortable with the route that ended up on. I also considered a two time villain battle, starting with a confrontation against the Dad who’s inspired by Frantocio from Billie bust up then a follow up against the Mom who’s mood swings would play a large part in her power(s). The long term effects of that abuse on full display for Ozander and Ophia to view. The Villains and Odd squad team up to defeat them, with Winter having to pull out the paintbrush one last time to defeat them. And then that’s the end.

— You were mad at them.

Since the cadets turned into kids you were more stressed than usual – between taking care of them all, doing your paperwork in time and helping Hange with theirs, it was a lot. Adding to this, your sleeping hours were cut in half as well due to kids never sleeping. You were overwhelmed and on edge, ready to snap at any moment.

“Levi,” you called him after lunch, “can you watch over the kids for a few hours? I–.” you took a deep breath, “I just have to take a bath and rest a little bit… it won’t be long!”

“Of course, take your time.” Levi kissed your forehead before leaving your room.

Levi went to the children’s room while you went to relax a bit.

“Where’s mommy?” Eren asked when Levi came in alone.

“She’ll come later.”

“I want mommy now!” Jean shouted frowning.

“Stop whining or she won’t come here at all.” Levi told them which made them all shut up.

They continued to play together when Jean came to Levi. He struggled to climb on the couch but succeeded and sat on Levi’s lap. He turned around so he could face Levi and asked.

“When is mommy coming here?”

“I don’t know.” Levi answered calmly.

“Play with us then!” Jean pouted. “Come with us.” Jean stood on Levi’s lap when Levi ignored him.

“No. Sit down or leave.” Levi told him in a harsh tone. “No, don’t cry.” Levi’s voice softened when he saw Jean’s tears. “I’ll come and play ok? Just… don’t cry.” Levi stood up with Jean in his arms.

For a few hours, Levi had to play dolls with the kids who were really into it – imagining complex stories, doing voices etc. It was dinner time when they all started to get tired of playing.

“Where’s mommy?” Armin asked shyly.

“Aren’t you all hungry?” Levi quickly changed the subject.

“Yay!” they all shouted.

“I’ll go grab something to eat then, don’t move.” Levi ordered before leaving the room.

When Levi left the room, Eren stood up and told the others that he was going to look for you. Sasha, Connie, Mikasa and Armin were against the idea knowing that Levi would not be happy about it, then there was Jean who agreed with Eren.

“Fine, we’ll leave without you!” Eren opened the door with difficulty.

Mikasa quickly followed Eren and Jean as well as Armin because lately, Armin got the habit of following or imitating Jean. Wherever Jean went, Armin would follow – whatever Jean was doing, Armin would do the same. Jean felt irritated when Armin follow or copied him, but he never said anything. He did once – the first time – and Armin cried which made Jean felt bad and he swore never to make Armin cry again.

“Where is mommy?” Armin asked.

“I don’t know.” Eren said.

“Just go to her room.” Mikasa commented.

They all run to your room and it was not locked. You were trying to sleep in your bed after a few hours of work when you suddenly heard the kids yelling.

“Mommy!” Jean yelled, jumping in your bed.

Meanwhile, Levi immediately regretted his decision when he came back to only two kids out of six. He asked them where the rest of them went and Sasha told him that they were looking for you. Levi took them with him and directly went to your room. Armin and Mikasa were clinging onto you while Jean and Eren were shouting and jumping on the bed.

“Stop jumping on the bed or you’ll break it!” you desperately tried to stop them.

“Eren! Jean! Stop.” Levi ordered in a harsh tone which made them immediately stop. “Y/N,” Levi said more softly, “are you ok?”

“Is mommy sick?” Sasha asked.

“No.” you said.

“Then come play us!” Eren shouted.

“Stop screaming.” you warned him. “And let go of me.” you told Armin and Mikasa but none of them listened to you.

“Kids, come here and let’s go.” Levi tried.

“NO!” Eren shouted loudly, “MOMMY! Come play with us!”

“Mommy!” Jean joined Eren.

“Stop calling me that!” you shouted back which made everyone shut up, “I am not your mother so all of you… just –.” you felt tears falling down, “stop.”

“Mommy?” Mikasa whispered worried.

“I heard shouting outside.” Erwin came in. “What’s happening?” he asked worried.

“Take the kids with you.” Levi said. “And close the door please.”

Erwin did not questioned Levi’s request and took the kids with him in his office. None of the kids wanted to leave you, but Erwin easily took them in his arms. Levi walked to you and wrapped his arms around you.

“Hey, it’s ok.” Levi murmured. “Let’s sit down.”

Levi brought you to bed and sat next you and let you cry on his shoulder. He would just hold you close to him until you stopped crying.

“I feel like shit.” you sobbed. “The kids probably hate me by now too.”

“They don’t.”

“Did you hear what I said? Th-they’re kids! And I- I just yelled at them.” you lamented, “I am the worst mother ever, and they’re not even my real kids!”

“I’m sure everything will work out.”

Erwin on his way to his office with the children saw Hange and brought them with him. Erwin, with Hange’s help, tried to cheer the kids up but they would not stop crying – they wanted to be with you and Levi.

“Is mommy going to leave us?” Armin sobbed.

“No!” Erwin said quickly.

“Y/N, she loves you all very much.” Hange said. “But you have to understand that she was… mh… very tired and she had a lot of work to do.”

“And sometimes,” Erwin continued, “you just have to let that person alone.”

“We have to leave mommy?” Connie asked.

“Yes,” Hange said, “but not forever. It would just be for a day so she can rest.”

“Is mommy not going to be our mommy because we made her upset?” Jean asked shyly.

“No, of course not.” Erwin reassured them. “I’m sure she’ll come back soon.”

Erwin and Hange stayed with the kids until night before Levi came in to put them to bed. Once they cleaned up and changed, they all went to bed without protest.

“Ok, I’ll turn off the lights.” Levi walked out.

“Daddy.” Armin called him before he closed the door, “Is mommy not going to say goodnight to us?”

“She’s n –.” Levi thought about it, “I’ll go and ask her.”

Levi came back to your room and you were already laying in bed, comfortably installed under the blanket. Levi sat next to you and rested his head on your stomach.

“The kids want to see you.”

“Aren’t they upset?” you worried, putting your hand through his hair.

“No, they’re just… they want to see you.”

“I should go then.” you stood up. “I’ll be right back.” you kissed him before leaving.

You walked very quickly toward the kids room and when you opened the door, you noticed they were all still up even though the lights were off. Sasha was the first one to see you and she jumped out of the bed to hug you.

“Hey.” you smiled, kneeling down. “Aren’t you sleepy?”

“No.” Sasha smiled.

“Let’s go back to bed alright?”

You sat down on the bed next to all the kids – they were all staring at you, waiting for you to talk first.

“I’m sorry about what happened earlier.” you apologised. “I should never have yelled at you kids.”

“Don’t stop being my mommy please.” Eren frowned.

“We’re sorry mommy.” Jean said with teary eyes.

“No don’t be.” you comforted them, “I love you all very much.” you smiled.

You opened your arms and they all came to hug you, smiling and happy.

— They sleep between you two — captain dad and squad leader mum.

Armin:

Armin had a nightmare about you leaving for an expedition and not coming back to him. He had Levi coming back devastated and not talking to him or anyone. A stranger – someone from your squad – had to tell him the news that you were never coming back. He woke up panicked and ran to your room. You and Levi agreed that the doors to your room would always be opened if there were any problems.

“Mommy! Daddy!” Armin came in crying.

“Armin?” Levi woke up. “Hey what’s wrong?” he put Armin between you too.

“What’s wrong?” you asked still half asleep.

“Mommy!” Armin cried next to you which woke you up instantly.

“What happened?” you panicked. “Armin, it’s ok.” you patted his head, “I’m here.”

“You didn’t come back.” Armin sobbed.

“What?” you whispered looking at Levi.

“I don’t know.” Levi mouthed.

“Armin,” you wiped his tears away, “what happened?”

“Bad dream.” Armin sobbed harder. “You were n-not here and daddy was s-sad! An-and he wasn’t w-with me!”

“Armin, it’s ok.” you reassured him, “I’m here and daddy’s here too.”

Levi laid on the bed and put Armin next to him. You took the blanket and put it on the three of you and soon enough, Armin calmed down and fell back asleep. In the morning, Armin was found to be sleeping on top of Levi, with his hand resting on Armin’s back so he would not fall.

“This is too much for my heart.” you whispered to yourself.

Jean:

Jean had been feeling slightly sick for the past couple of days but did not tell anyone. He stayed in bed when it was time to eat dinner and you were worried at first which made you bring him dinner but he was asleep already. You brought back the tray and gave it to the kids who were not against the idea of eating more.

Jean woke up in the middle of the night, still slightly sick and extremely hungry. He discreetly go out of bed and went to your room. When Jean came in, he noticed lights were still on – Levi was still awake, probably working.

“Daddy?” Jean asked timidly. Which startled Levi.

“What are you still doing up at this hour?” Levi whispered, scared to wake you up.

“I’m hungry.” Jean admitted.

“Come here.” Levi put away his papers.

Levi took him in his arms and put him on the bed between you two which woke you up.

“Mh. What’s wrong?” you mumbled.

Jean turned his head toward Levi so he could answer for him.

“Jean’s hungry.” Levi said.

“Mh – I’m up.” you dragged yourself out of bed slowly. “I’m going to bring you some food alright?” you patted Jean’s head and noticed his forehead was a little hot. “Are you sick Jean?” you asked worried.

“No.” Jean answered.

“Jean, don’t lie. Are you sick?” Levi asked again.

“I don’t know.” Jean said looking at his hands playing with the blanket.

“Jean,” you said softly, “it’s ok. I’ll go and bring some hot tea too alright?”

You went to the kitchen and prepared some food and started to boil some water as well. You took two cups – one for Jean and another for Levi - and poured some water in it with the tea leafs. You put the smashed potatoes and the vegetables on a plate and put everything on a tray before going back to your room. Levi started to feed Jean while you prepared a cold towel for Jean.

“Jean, what did you forget earlier?” Levi said when you came back.

“Thank you mommy!” Jean smiled.

“You’re welcome baby.” you smiled back.

When Jean finished eating, Levi offered to cleaned it up while you put Jean to sleep. You thanked him and went back to bed. You put the cold towel on Jean’s forehead and laid next to him.

“You can sleep now.” you rest your hand on Jean stomach.

“Good night mommy.”

“Good night.”

“Good night daddy!” Jean said when Levi came back to bed.

Eren:

Just like Armin, Eren had a nightmare that night. When he first woke up, he tried to go back to sleep because he did not want to bother you nor Levi. But after thirty minutes of trying, he went to your bedroom. This time, both of you were asleep.

Eren hesitated a second about whether he should wake you up or not. He quickly decided not to and laid on the floor. Levi woke up not too long after Eren came in because he was thirsty. He only noticed Eren’s presence when he came back from the kitchen.

“Y/N.” Levi whispered

“Mmh?”

“Eren’s on the ground.”

“Mh.” you mumbled, “What?” you asked again a minutes later – your eyes wide open.

“Look.” Levi pointed at Eren.

“What is he doing on the ground?”

“I don’t know.”

“Bring him here.” you told Levi.

“You do it.” Levi argued.

“I’ll wake him up.”

“And I won’t?”

“You never did when I used to fell asleep in your office.” you reminded him.

“Fine.”

Levi miraculously brought Eren on the bed without waking him up and put him between you two. During the night, Eren ended up on Levi’s left side meaning Levi was in the middle. While he had his arms around Eren – so he would not fall – you had yours around Levi.

— Sasha and Connie would often sneak out and sleep with you and Levi.

— Mikasa never did. When she had nightmares she would only hug her teddy bear closer. She was scared to bother you. Once she did wake Sasha up and slept closer to her.

Shorter Stories

— Mikasa was known to be always quiet – she was afraid to bother people especially you or Levi. Even when she was hurt, she would stay quiet. Once during a meeting, she accidentality cut herself with a piece of paper. It was Eren, ten minutes later who had to tell you.

“Next time, you tell me immediately ok?” you told Mikasa as you cleaned the cut.

“I’m sorry.”

“What for?”

“You had to leave for me.” Mikasa explained.

“You are more important than the meeting, so next time just tell me alright?”

Mikasa only nodded and followed you back to the meeting.

— Jean is known to be a momma’s boy – he would always stay with you and play with you rather than Levi. He often cried when you had to leave without them. He loved to be held by you, he knew how to walk perfectly, but he would rather stay with you.

“Stop spoiling him.” Levi would often say to you.

“I can’t help it. Jean is adorable!”

When others were watching over the kids, you were the one Jean would be asking for, not Levi which surprised you when Hange came because Jean hurt himself while playing.

“Jean’s at the infirmary – nothing serious though!” Hange quickly added.

“I’ll go.” you stood up.

“Mh…” Hange stopped you, “he asked for Levi.”

“Are you sure?” you asked them.

“Yes.”

“Oh,” you gasped dramatically, “did you hear that?”

“What?” Levi asked ready to leave.

“My heart being broken by that kid.” you threw yourself back to bed.

When Jean got better, he immediately came back to you. You tried to be mad at Jean – in a playful way – but when you saw him nearly crying, you apologised and let him stay with you.

— The kids were staying with you in the morning, and it was decided that Levi would watch them after lunch because you had work to do with your squad. You were holding Eren in your arms and he refused to let go of you when Levi arrived.

“I want to stay with mommy please!” Eren cried holding onto you.

“Eren,” you calmed him down, “I will be back really quick, I promise.”

“Noo!” Eren cried as Levi took him.

Eren was desperately trying to hold your arms, but Levi was swift. Eren leaned over and grabbed your hair and pulled it which made you scream and lose your balance.

“Eren!” Levi yelled putting him down. “Y/N, are you ok?” he knelt down.

“I’m fine.” you reassured him, “it’s ok.”

“Mommy?” Eren hesitated.

“Eren,” Levi started, “go to your room with the others.” but Eren did not move, “right now!” Levi ordered.

“Levi.” you put your hands on his face, “I’m ok.” you turned to Eren who was now crying silently. “Eren, it’s ok, I’m fine.”

“’M sorry mommy!”

“It’s ok, now go with daddy and listen to him ok?”

Eren nodded and took Levi’s hand and left.

“Sorry daddy.” Eren sobbed.

“Mh.” Levi answered. “Don’t ever do that again am I clear?”

“Never!”
