can’t stop thinking about how Caramelinda married the second in line but the first to die. the way she probably prepared as much as she could as a lady of the court and then as the wife of the princess. until she went from being a widow to a queen. the second queen of candia in almost as many years who had to rule because her husband didn’t, and way Pamela would’ve been the only frame of reference for who she should be to get through it all. how she probably wished she had had more time with her mother-in-law to ask all the questions she had now and instead just hoped she was doing her proud.

#(o ᵔ▽ᵔ)o I REALLY like the headcanon that the card is his natural hair color but he dyes his hair to blend in for missions.#I know in one ending slide for a female courier he actually matches the card.#However I tend to just stick with imagining him looking like his in game model BUT IT'S HARD TO DECIDE!!!#So I wanted to hear other people's opinions.#I've been thinking about my Courier Six interacting with other characters.#Her dynamic with Vulpes Inculta is VERY fun to imagine since she has REALLY bad facial blindness with ONLY him ꉂ (˃̶᷄‧̫ॢ ˂̶᷅๑ ).#Which was based off my own experience when playing:#I didn't realize it was him in The Strip until he spoke and that he was standing next to Ceaser 💀#So I picture before becoming villainized by the Legion they'd bump into each other a few times during his missions.#(¬‿¬ ) Also that Ceaser would send Vulpes to receive updates about Courier Six's progress on killing Mr. House.#Which she is NOT going to do but is lying to the Legion that she is.#My Courier Six NEVER recognizes it's Vulpes unless he says something.#Which I think bothers him but also strokes his ego a little that he's such a great Frumentarii.#It's like Dr. Doofenshmirtz with Perry the Platypus. #PLEASE there's gotta be a voice model that can speak arabic street names #one of the funniest interactions i had with a taxi driver earlier was #when i asked to go somewhere and he said 'i don't know where that is but i heard these days the phone can tell you how to get anywhere!!'#and he was so excited about it and asked me to try it with him (he was an adorable old man lol) so i set the location on my phone #and the lady started talking and i said 'i'll translate ok?' and he was like 'ok ^_^'#but every time she spoke and he said 'what did she just say??'i would be like i don't know.. that's scary...#fortunately i understand the words 'left' and 'right' so that was enough to direct us the right way #(plus i read the street names myself off the map) so we got there #he was so excited and fascinated with technology god bless him!!

Can I say I wish I had this artist's speed...? The moment I bought from them, they told me they'd get a WIP together and it was like... 3AM, so I was thinking I'd check in the next day but in less than half an hr, she sends the WIP! And then sends a cleaned one...! Like holy heck!

What's funny about my gijinka King Boo seeming like he's using the magic staff as a cane here is in his old ref I made that an idea, but removed it. So cool the artist added it in their idea!

Is there meta about the Paul McCartney song Pretty Boys which is definitely just about male models and nothing to do with frequently photographed 1960s pretty boy Paul McCartney?

Thank GOD this blog is over.

I knew, vaguely, someday, that this would probably happen. I used Gmod partly as a creative move— I felt like it created an uncanny level of detachment and distance from the world, which I felt represented sanitization and our POV character perfectly… and also because I couldn’t draw. I can draw now. That’s slightly less important and majorly less insightful artistic vision stuff.

There are rumors that the takedown notice is false. If it is, I don’t see the Gmod team going back on their choice anyway. It’s 20 years of work they have to go through and then 20 years of work to undo it for something that may come back and be real.

Now I highly doubt this means Pistachio’s little corner of tumblr is doomed, but I’m now going to go through the process of archiving this blog. Obviously if the comic is somehow taken down, I won’t be able to put it up anywhere else, but you can rest assured it’ll be safe on my hard drive.

Thank you for following Pistachio’s journey.

i feel like they basically tried to transpose the storyline/dynamic btwn coa and mary boleyn from tobg in tsp (with coa and bessie blount) and realllly overdid what was already well-done and entertaining.

#im gonna be honest — pgreg has a way more entertaining style of writing than EF and who else was it . graham?#also had they stuck with that alba galocha would have done it MUCH better .#i mean same with tcp. if im being honest …#but the majority of the novel of tcp is her marriage with Arthur and they did noooot follow that model at all #hviii in that book is just the runner-up. he idolizes her but she doesn’t love him #it actually spoke well to the emotional truth of like ….#hviii’s pattern of idealization and devaluation #he did the same thing w / AB (she just wasn’t fortunate — relatively — enough to have the end be exile rather than execution )#also all these Seymour asks are making me think of boleyn counterfactuals which would diverge at that point instead ….#someone write that fanfic bcus i would read the hell out of it #(i kid . it already exists in variations and ive pretty much read all of them #it tends to be analogous to COA’s demotion as Princess of wales ; Anne’s in these fics is usually keeping the title marquess of pembroke)#eyyyye… would read another one tho #I’d be more interested in another epistolary one that has the remnants of the boleyn/howard party talking mad smack about the Seymours 😂#to like the resident French ambassador and such #much like the Aragonese / Marian party did re: the boleyn party to Chapuys

i need to do exposure therapy with purgatory i think the fandom experience at the time instilled the unpleasant dread and despair i still feel whenever i think about the event

#though it was also . the event itself’s fault . lol #and the miserable experience it was to watch them play from 7 pm to 5 am every single day for two weeks my time #and yes a lot of my unpleasant feelings towards purg come from my own ass being hyperfixated on the serv/etoiles #to a point where i struggled to Not watch . which made the feelings worse yknow #also like it kinda sucked for everyone it also sucked as an etoiles viewer . man was constantly stuck between the #‘i can’t fight like i want to bc people will complain that im too strong and it’s unfair nor can i Not fight bc people will complain that #i’m going easy on people/not invested in the team’ . and he was right people shit on him either way #like the event marked him in the ‘damned if i do damned if i don’t’ department so much that he still uses purgatory as an example today #and then he joined purg2……. babey girl ur hyperfixation is hurting u….. i actually enjoyed purg2 more tho so idc as much LOL #purg2 was better bc it was an event u actually willingly joined and it included people not from the main server so it wasn’t stuck in #fucking ‘is this lore or a pvp competition’ limbo #anw yeah even though i dislike purgatory overall bc it rly did shitall other than make people angry for two weeks (on ur server thats #supposed to be about uniting cultures . they all spoke in primarily english for two weeks bc the competition model that purg was #was just not built for short distance discussions…. lord)#there’s still some cool stuff that came out of it . my fave highlights r bloodhounds and nice cogs i love them #when i feel stronger i will comb through the vods to write up the relevant stuff for the etoiles miraheze page i just . am still not strong #enough . the detox must be slow and steady #jay rambles #also i am going to bed now i should have been asleep ages ago
