Stanford Sam and on-the-road Dean is what I'd love to watch. I love the Bobby and Rufus idea and the Dean Jr idea, but imagine the delicious perfectly platonic brotherly (in SPN's VERY generous interpretation, ha) angst as Dean keeps teetering on the brink of calling Sam, as he drives by Palo Alto. And Sam and how he sends anonymous tips to hunters he knows are in the area for hunts he gleans from newspapers etc, except it's always Dean who gets the tip & works the case, and neither knows it. <3

Ooh the angst! It will be like Gift of the Magi type situations. Then we can have flashforward scenes of Sam and Dean during the time between 15x19 and 15x20 reminiscing about their old cases and slowing realizing they have been unknowingly working together, like psychotically, irrationally, unknowingly codependently working together.

I would use the same casting directors from One Piece to cast Stanford Sam and on-the-road Dean, they have excellent casting records.

Currently rereading TE because I have to wait until August to read Kindred.(😭) but I really think a spinoff from TE like Unbridled from Untameable would be so neat. Imagine playing a new mc that's a blood-att, the 1st blood-att student to attend Penderghast since the ban on blood magick was lifted and having the other students wary of you. The trials and tribulations of that, the potential LIs that could spawn from that....

this is so funny i knew eoin said he thought gwaine got up and went on his merry way with a concussion and zero recollection of the entire series but i didn't know he got super excited about making a short film about it. it's kind of a huge-brained idea actually since gwaine's character arc starts out with a concussion. mr macken please this could be your magnum opus there is still time

I have a question, in case supernatural returns to the screen, how is the story going to develop again? Will he still focus on Sam as the main character or is Jensen's ego not going to allow that and will he want a little more development on Dean?

I mean, at this point and after everything that's happened so far, Jensen has a pretty big ego.

If it was up to me, I'll have Supernatural return in limited-series format and take place between 15x19 and 15x20, both Jared and fans have said there is a 5-year gap between those two episodes. Sam and Dean on old school monster hunts becaue God!Jack is making sure no celestrials interfer with people's lives and Queen!Rowena is making sure demons stay away from the Winchesters. Though Rowena has her work cut out for her as there were clues in season 15 that not every demon is going to follow her. So I would have an episode of the Winchesters and Queen!Rowena teaming up to wrangle wayward demons back to hell.

In other words, yes to your question: Sam is the main character again. Jensen could get his Dean development by showing how he come to fully accept the idea of Sam leaving the hunting life during Dean's lifetime and not just only after he dies. It will make his goodbye speech all the more impactful in the finale.
