Nour (@noor509) is raising funds so he can provide basic needs for his two children, one of whom was born in the middle of this genocidal war! Imagine trying to raise and feed a baby in a genocide, in the midst of constant bombings and with no aid being allowed in! Israel has killed at least 17,400 children during its war on Gaza! With Israel's constant attacks, survival is no easy feat, especially with a baby so young!

To make things worse, their Gofundme fundraiser was closed by GFM when the campaign organizer Andrea (@roadimusprime) switched how he transferred the money to Nour. They have created a PayPal link to collect funds, but donations to Nour have been suffering ever since! Please share and donate if you are able to! Every little bit helps!

When you read the news and it says “600 injured in Israeli airstrikes” I hope everyone understands how serious these injuries are. Today, I saw a 5 year old child with half of his face gone laying on a hospital floor, alive. I saw part of his brain where his right eye used to be. Many of these injuries are not survivable, especially without medications, antibiotics, working surgery rooms, medical tools, clean water, nutrients, etc. People who do survive their injuries are left disabled for the rest of their lives.

We, sisters Alaa and Manal, come to you today with hearts filled with both pain and hope. The harsh winds of war have swept us away, and we lost our father and our lifelong support, our husbands, leaving behind children whose only fault was that they were born in a time when security was scarce.

Im Alaa, am a mother of two young children, a four-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy. Every day, I wonder how I will provide them with a living and the necessities of a decent life. Life did not give me a chance to say goodbye to my husband. All I have left of him is a ring with our names written on it.

my sister, Manal, she has three children: an eleven-year-old boy, a three-year-old boy, and an eight-year-old girl. Her suffering is compounded by a neck injury that is pressing on her spinal nerve, threatening her with quadriplegia.She needs an emergency operation to relieve pressure on her spine, but this operation cannot be performed inside Gaza due to the lack of resources. This makes caring for her three children an unbearable challenge.

Our tragedies did not stop there. Our sick mother, who suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, lives with us and suffers in silence. We have all lost our homes, which were destroyed by the war, and we have experienced the bitterness of displacement and displacement dozens of times. We lived in tents, experienced the harshness of homelessness, and today, we have no stable source of income to help us cope with the burdens of life and meet the needs of our children and our sick mother.

We have exhausted all our energy and our resources. We search for a glimmer of hope, for a hand to reach out to us and lift this heavy burden. Today, we appeal to you with broken hearts but with dignity that refuses to be broken, to extend a helping hand. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives.

My name is Moataz, a journalist from Gaza.

My story!

Imarried Huda on June 22nd. I was very happy with her. I photograph humanitarian issues for the world. The war started and we were exposed to a deadly attack that we miraculously survived.

We became homeless, without food or drink. My wife was crying. I set up my tent for the first time after displacement on November 1st. We sought refuge with all the relief organizations, but no one helped me. We are now awaiting the birth of our first child after a long wait. Huda is pregnant... I tried to search for safety by any means, for me, my wife Huda, and our eagerly awaiting son, Malek! 😭

We were surprised by the new displacement and the terrifying sight of the bombing. We lost everything we owned for the second time, we took refuge in Rafah, I tried in every way to provide healthy food for my wife and our expectant child, but we were surprised for the third time by a major attack that made us leave without any food or shelter, Huda is eight months pregnant and we were displaced for the fifth time, this time is the worst, Huda and I stayed for five days sleeping on the burning sand of the sea. We did not taste food for five days, 💔

I first saw The Transformers: The Movie (1986) 20 years ago, and in the two decades of being a Transformers fan since I've always assumed that Wreck-Gar and the other Junkions spoke in random TV quotes because, like... their robot brains were intercepting stray TV signals from Earth. Something like that. Right?

So anyway now I'm watching the entire G1 cartoon with Anthony, because he wanted more context for who the hell the characters in the IDW comics are. Which means sitting down and watching all of season 3 for the first time in my life, because I could never track down the DVDs as a kid and as an adult I just never bothered watching more than a few noteworthy episodes. So imagine my surprise when we get to "The Killing Jar" and Wreck-Gar is depicted as literally just sitting there on Junkion watching a Bozo the Clown knockoff on an old rabbit ear TV set he somehow inexplicably owns light-years away from Earth and parroting phrases like an iPad baby

They need diapers, food, and medicine. I live alone with my children inside the tent, even though it's not a suitable place to live and not safe for my children. if you have a moment, please consider giving some attention to my friend Nader ( @nader202-3 )'s campaign. besides himself, he is providing for his wife, Sally ( @sally2033 ), and their three young children, Laila, Nour, and Ahmed, as well as his parents and siblings. Nader's father was injured in the airstrike that destroyed the family's home; due to the lack of available medical care, he continues to struggle with long-term complications. this bombing also killed several of the Gibril family's relatives, including Nader's aunt, uncle, and cousin with his whole family.

now, their situation has gotten even more dire. earlier this month, Nader attempted to get food for the family at one of the israeli/US-run GHF aid distribution sites. as you've likely heard, these facilities have been used as cover to deliberately kill and injure people who come seeking desperately needed food. over 240 humanitarian organizations have called for the GHF to cease operations, and according to the UN, over 1,000 people have been killed while seeking aid. thankfully, Nader was not among them—but he was shot in the back and is now recovering from this serious injury without the benefits of easily accessible medicines, nutritious food, or even a safe and quiet place to rest.

Nader and Sally's children are all under ten years old. they are acutely vulnerable to starvation and the long-term consequences of malnutrition. if the Gibril family's campaign doesn't raise sufficient funds to buy food (which can be over $200 USD per day), Sally or one of the other adults in the family will have to risk their life seeking aid from the GHF. this is not tenable. they should not have to choose between being shot and watching their beloved children fade away from starvation.

your donations and engagement with Nader and Sally's campaign mean that Nader can recover without having to worry for his family, that Sally won't have to risk death or injury to feed their children, and that Laila, Nour, and Ahmed can survive and stay healthy. even just sharing their posts, following one or both of their blogs, or dropping a kind word is a reminder that they are not facing this terrible situation alone. whatever you can do to help is valuable.
