has anyone ever noticed that spike never smacks his cigarette boxes before having one? I automatically wrote it out in my fic before realizing he's literally never done that, which I think is a fascinatingly small detail. I guess he wouldn't feel the need to when he's just smoking for the aesthetics or to have something to do with his hands, but you'd think he'd at least pick it up from watching others, no?
