Sonic Prime - Finale Rewrite? Sonic Prime & Avengers: Infinity War Peter Parker Dying Scene, recreated to be Sonic dying. This was a random silly idea at first, but I decided to keep going with it. :) Hopefully you all liked it. I got awfully sloppy with a lot of it. Didn't bother finishing some of the hand and shoe basic sketches, and just left them as warped blobs and such. lol But, as long as it gets the meaning across, I'm good with it. I would've done a fully finished comic, but I knew I'd never get it done, so I just left it as the sloppy sketchy mess it is. I know 'person with secret to hide spots other person with secret to hide but doesn't say anything' is like. Thee trope in superhero crossovers, but come on! Some of these guys have been doing this for decades! There's tons of heroes that have gone to pretty extreme lengths to be Completely Imperceptible in civilian life.

Don't you think it's scarier, after all is said and done, to sit there and think I didn't notice a thing? I wouldn't have ever realised? I would never have known? To know that someone you were familiar with - close with, even! - had this whole other personality and skillset and powers and experiences and life just behind the curtain, and they hid it so completely you didn't even see it was there.

'I always knew there was something off' what if you didn't. How world shaking would it be to be so utterly blindsided? To know that this person had somehow learned to so deceptive?

idk i just find it interesting to think peter was never a super anxious person until life made him anxious about everything. like his anxiety comes from a place of circumstances and his past giving him all the reasons he should be anxious. he overthinks worst case scenarios because he’s experienced worst case scenarios and knows that they are something to anticipate. in homecoming he is a carefree teenager who is aware of his impact in many ways but also who hasn’t experienced the traumas of the vulture and thanos and mysterio and the entirety of no way home, traumas which stack on top of each other until every thought he has is weighted by anxiety.

and then to have harley contrasting that by having anxiety his entire life but having to teach himself how to logic his way out of his anxiety. like, he walks into a room and immediately is checking exits and looking for potential hazards and is afraid of every possible bad thing that could happen—and then he forces himself to stop and be like, okay, yeah, that’s possible, but also that is incredibly unlikely and focusing on the potential rather than the actual will only distract me from the present moment and, in turn, potentially distract me from any bad things that might actually happen. and i like to think that harley is so used to having these anxious thoughts that he has no reaction when he has them. like he’ll be smiling and laughing and also thinking about what to do if something catches on fire, and because of this he comes across as very relaxed and carefree to others.

idk i just. i love the idea of harley and peter having these things in common but also being complete opposites about them? peter was carefree and happy and optimistic about the world and his future and everything until the universe forced him to become overly cautious and anxious and always afraid of things going wrong because every single thing has gone wrong before and he knows it could do so again. harley has always anticipated the worst case scenario even though the world has not given him much reason to do so and has to actively remind himself that the worst case scenario is often not what actually happens. his motto is “hope for the best prepare for the worst” because that’s the only way he can manage to enjoy things while being anxious about them, whereas peter’s motto has turned into “hope for nothing prepare for everything” because he has no choice but to anticipate everything falling apart.

(and, in a world where they meet, the longer they know each other the more they understand each other and one another’s anxieties and how they work and learn to communicate with each other in a way that helps to ease their inidivual anxieties. harley reminds peter that, while the worst has happened before, that doesn’t mean it’s automatically going to happen again, and peter helps harley feel prepared for things going wrong in a way that harley is then able to focus on the positives easier, which again in turn gives harley the ability to help peter focus on the positives, too, which then provides peter the confidence to become a little bit more carefree and optimistic again, until they can easily bounce off one another to help ease their anxieties and become calming presences in each others lives, esp during stressful situations)

Miles watched You in awe as you lied in bed staring at the feeling you were glowing under the late sunlight that seeped through the curtains of your shared bedroom Your was shiny, your nails were growing out, and your skin

“Hey love, I’m gonna go out on patrol for a little while” Miles had brought himself to your side of the bed down on both knees to get down to eye level with you as you let out a small breath before replying

“Okay, I’m sorry I can’t go with you” You felt beyond guilty for lying to your boyfriend this long he’d been taking up your shifts to patrol the city and holding you tight when you needed the comfort

What you had been telling him hadn’t necessarily been a lie you were feeling sick and the running to the bathroom every morning at the crack of dawn for the past two weeks was enough to prove it but you weren’t really telling him or anyone for that matter the full story

“Don’t apologize, ill be back soon okay?” Miles reassured you with that warm smile of his pressing a kiss to the tip of your nose as you nodded and soon enough the brunette was out the door on the way to protect the city

You finally decided to get up heading to your bathroom as you ducked to the cabinets level pushing aside the cleaning supplies and razors to wear two individually wrapped pregnancy test lied flat

You had already took some plenty actually that had all gave you the same results in someway

You unwrapped them both carefully making sure not to tamper with anything even though deep down you knew it was true and that you were pregnant

You sat on the toilet as you went through the process you had many times before as you found yourself staring at the wall waiting as the timer on your phone silently ticked away the remaining time left

You would be more than overjoyed if you didn’t have the voice in the back of your head taunting and chastising you for even hoping Miles would stay with you and raise your baby together why would he you’ve been together merely four years your anniversary was three months from now

Or it would’ve been. Your little family would’ve been something breathtakingly beautiful.

You stared at yourself in the mirror a hand over your belly you weren’t showing but nonetheless it was a little version of you growing inside it and it made your heart squeeze in your chest

You slipped off your clothes and turned the knob to the hot water of your shower to sweep your thoughts clean you would tell Miles when he got back from patrol and would take care of your baby on your own if it came down to it

Miles didn’t know what to do.

It was around two to three weeks ago that he heard something out of the ordinary, way out the ordinary.

He was lying next to your sleeping figure with an arm thrown across your hip draping over your stomach when he heard little rhythmic beats in the drums of his ears usually yours sounded more… lively and vibrant these ones were soft and dainty

Miles listened a little harder and he could hear both beats at the same time lively, vibrant, soft and dainty finally the realization had took his breath away

He was going to be a dad

you were going to be a mom

you had a family

Miles was so close to waking you up to engulf you whole and prepare kisses around your face but he settled you must have been tired carrying around the news of having a child growing inside you and maybe you wanted to surprise him he didn’t want to ruin that for you or himself so he waited

And waited

And waited

Now it was two weeks later and Miles was still trying to let you tell you on your own he tried to gently encourage you with warm smiles and checking up on you more than he usually would to the point where he thought it was overbearing

The only reason the man knew you were aware is when he offered you a glass of wine your favorite wine and all you did was take a sip leaving the cup deserted

The only reason Miles would confront you tonight is because he was simply worried for you and the baby’s health you hadn’t been to the doctor and the brunette didn’t want to wait too long to go

So he swung to the corner shop leaving with a dozen of white roses and some of your favorite snacks you enjoyed in a bag waiting to get home to you

You sat on the couch your leg bouncing up and down in anticipation as you waited for your boyfriend to come back home you had six pregnancy test on tucked under your thigh playing with your hands in your lap

You finally heard the window beside you as you watched your boyfriend climb through the window of your home his suit skin tight on his body book bag residing on his back

you would miss seeing him like this

“Hey… how was patrol?” You questioned timidly and Miles would be lying if he said he weren’t surprised to see you out of bed

“Hi lovie it was good, calm surprisingly.” The boy responded as he sat on the couch next to you sliding the straps of his bad off his shoulders

“I got something for you”

“I got something for you”

You both chuckled at your in sync comment as you nodded for Miles to continue he didn’t speak he just reached in his bag before pulling out a bouquet of white roses and some of your favorite snack you had been eating on the last few weeks

“Thank you baby, your so thoughtful” The lump in your throat was more prominent that ever as you zoomed in on the feeling of the plastic test under your thigh

“Now what’s my surp-” Miles sentence was cut short as you shoved the test in his lap some facing up some facing down all of the saying the same result that you were pregnant

“I’m pregnant two months, and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you but I-I was scared and I’m still scared and it’s okay if you want to leave I can do it by myself and-” This time you were cut short of your sobbing speech as Miles held your face In his hands his heart practically ripped in his chest as you sniffled heavy trying to keep your tears in your eyes for him to break up with you

“Oh sweetheart, im not going anywhere you hear me? I’m so glad you told me baby I’m so proud of you and I can’t wait to raise our baby together” Miles shushed you as you sobbed harder face pressed against his shoulder his suit soaking up your tears

“I’m so sorry it took me so long” You sniffled and Miles hugged you close rubbing small soothing circles on your back

“I’m just glad you told me okay? I’m so glad you told me baby” The brunette whispered running a hand over your hair smoothing it out as you began to fall asleep in his warm embrace

Miles would choose another day to tell you that he knew all this time but for now he would settle with holding you close in his arms and rubbing your belly

He held his world in his hands

This has been roaming around my head for awhile so i decided to ask!! what happens if ur blixer was a slightly different story like instead of his parent being a spider what would if he actually have a bio logical parents? Would his parents have the same look as him or one of them has a different look or depends?

Bonus question: instead of mr spidey being his parent and he actually had biological parents would his story would be more different?? Like maybe more traumatizing and has past lores etc ?

oh I LOVE thinking about "what if's" scenarios I have multiple versions of CB (that end up not used) as for Blixer parents aspect or how he lived, it varies from cuda and lycan being his cave buddies and friends to having no parents and friends in the cave at all. Giving him parents didn't cross my mind at all at first because his reason for existing already kinda set (macabres wish) heck... even when i was 10 pages in the comic spidey didn't exist until i decided "hey if a spider adopt him, raised him to be good and suddenly blixer loose his sanity, wouldn't that make it more sad compared to him living alone?" and so spidey exist and i mention him in the boat with cuda scene + side comic to make up for my silly mid comic rewrite. It also shows he's not as violent as people think he is since he's LITERALLY RAISED BY SPIDERS, 10X TINY THAN HIM Now if we change it up and blixer have bio parents, a lot of things can change: > Blixer Identity Crisis is less intense. He got parents, who raised him, BIRTHED HIM. Unlike the in the comic where he just pops up out of no where and someone adopted him. Sure in both versions he got a loving family but you get the gist right? > Blixer mom is the first shape he accidentally corrupt. He got the curse of corrupting everything he touch, so his pure parents are now corrupt and THEY get the beating instead of Blixer. In the comic Spidey can't do much to protect him physically since he's tiny compared to blixer > HE'S GOT BASIC HUMAN NEEDS, lets say his dad isn't corrupt, he still can go outside and provide for the family there's a LOT more i can list (but it is 1:30 AM i'm getting sleepy lmao) but basically giving Blixer bio parents will make his backstory less traumatic......unless i killed them......... when he's young.... now to actually answer your first question lmao- yes i think his bio parents would look similar to him, heck i try to make macabres design similar to blixer since she wish for him and stuff

And if we're RIGHT, and now that we know netflix DD is canon, this scene told us a lot This is mostly me hypothesizing here BUT:

Matt, Fisk not blipped.

Good sign towards one theory that Foggy + Karen were blipped to angst Matt up, which is why they weren't called for the original script before they tossed that out to rewrite it, because there were signs that it was going to have a lot of it DURING the blip. Rewrites not withstanding, Foggy and Karen might still have been blipped even if they come back. At the very least, I'm assuming they blipped.

Matt: new red suit again, which means he did NOT keep the black suit post S3. Which is good, we don't need another Nobu fight.

FISK was out and about post blip. And if DD is canon, we know Matt had his dirt on Vanessa to keep Fisk in prison by his choice. If Vanessa was blipped (@wonderlandmind4 pointed out no wedding ring on Fisk - divorce when they came back? Something happened when she blipped back? Wasn't blipped but killed during the chaos of the blip?), it would explain why Fisk was out since Matt would have nothing to hold over him.

Fisk confirming with Maya that none of his people have every stood up against Matt, so Matt's been at least partially successful at hampering Fisk. However, Fisk's power clearly indicates Matt's fighting a losing battle, much like before. I'm thinking this will lead to him getting help (return of JJ? Frank? Spidey appearance?).

In other words I have theories based on like 90 seconds but that's what I've got and I may or may not already be examining my Blip Side Fic outline and making adjustments.

Sure, his subconscious loves to bring up the screams of the people he's killed while he's trying to have a cat nap, and comic boxes talk to him, and he tries to ignore the fact he's in a fanfiction like heavy metal fans deny they have tinnitus, but most of that only started after Weapons X. He's been killing for decades.

Everyone has a different reaction to death. It's the same with murder. Some people take lives for the thrill of it and others won't ever recover from killing the worst scum on Earth in self-defense.

Usually, Wade prides himself on being able to tell where people fall on this scale. Reading people is an important part of merc work; he has to know how much threatening is enough to get his mark to stay away from his clients when common sense or the court systems and cops fail them.

But Spidey is a tough nut to crack.

Spider-Man, as New York's poster boy hero, should be staunchly against murder. And yet, there's a darker edge about him that Wade wouldn't expect to find outside of Sister Margaret's.

"You're not any more nuts than me for agreeing to help you," Webs says, running his fingers through the long grass. "I would make so much money as a superhero therapist."

Wade snorts. "Forget the heroes. Offer supervillain therapy in your civvies. Then you can either reform them with your unwavering moral compass or at least get insider deets on their secret plans."

Spidey laughs. Wade wants to set it as his ringtone. "It's all fun and games until they kidnap you."

"Don't worry, my beautiful damsel in distress," Wade coos. "I'd rescue you."

Nah nah nah,cause if you want a superhero who's like Jason Todd,you don't need to do a zillion rewrites to get one-You want Miles Morales.There's so many misconceptions about Jason in almost every way in fandoms but the tea is that he's literally just a grimdark-adjacent Miles.Read every comic Jason's ever been in and watched/played almost all his adaptions too and i was an Itsv kid who got real autistic over Miles thanks to Atsv so now i'm working on the same for him and lemme tell you,NOBODY'S got that Robin!Jason swag and energy better than Miles does and imma get bold and say he's got the look too.Yes the cuteness and black and red motif but you cannot tell me Jason shouldn't be afro-caribbean,is supposed to be afro-caribbean as it makes too much sense.But as i was saying,Miles is underecognized in general but in this instince as Jason's counterpart specifically due to that,that he's black and that is absolutely ridicilous and out of nowhere from the self-proclaimed 'moc Jason truthers' and fails to not at all accidentally aknowledge that Jason CANONICALLY looks out for black characters as seen by Dana Harlowe who is his best written love interest and something of a Tiana Toomes to his Miles and oh yeah,Jason's Robin is motherfuckin' DUKE THOMAS,the FIRST and ONLY black Robin and also the first and only other Batboy he loved and was close to from the start and Duke choose him as his Robin right back.It's not Jason Todd without black characters and Miles Morales' blackness is a fundemental part of him seeing as he was created TO be a black Spiderman based off a Donald Glover Community joke of him wearing a Spidey shirt

Miles G is also canonically a Red Hood Variant.His origin story is A Death In The Family and Lost Days almost to a T and he even has green eyes and a dominican voice actor and Across has multiple storyline beats in common with the Under The Red Hood movie.The og Red Hood and The Outlaws?An ooc mess for Jason and written by a serial sexual harraser to boot(to those who post it,literally deactivate and yeah,i'm including the 'jokes').Gotham Knights,Titans and Red Hood:Outlaws?Also trash that spit in his name and 2/3 are explicitly bigoted.Literally everything else is pure gold and that's cause it's based on Jason's actual history instead of machoism and pandering.Miles wasn't actually based off Jason specifically,rather as an accurate depection of real teenage superheroes that Jason himself happens to have fitted into as one of the older ones,so he has his own unique history and traits and relathionships and designs and powers.He's not a carbon copy even though he's exactly like Jason,because he dosen't need to be to not do his own thing or steal someone else's spark to feel right on the inside to be a real hero(unlike that 'Spiderman' the Mcu gave us which just stole Miles to give his spirit to a white boy,ironically enough what Batfanon does to,well,everyone).Miles Morales isn't just my Spiderman,he's my Jason Todd too and that should be true for everyone in the superhero fandom,new or not

idk if any of u guys r here from my dc x Spidey crossover/ao3, but if you are i have some things to say!

so uh,

1. sorry for not updating in almost two months..

2. the reasons i haven't updated is bc i was busy with school ending(+ some other stuff) and i have been meaning to go back thru and rewrite the previous chapters to make them more detailed and flow more smoothly!

3. im currently out of state and don't have my laptop w me, but im gonna try and write something tonight if im not too exhausted!

4. i have other fic ideas in mind that will also start to be written and posted on ao3 since it's summer time and im gonna have a little but more free time, but i will still probably keep updates on TSOTWCUA (my dc and spidey fic) as once a month on sporadic dates

5. im starting to get back into anime a little bit so maybe be on the lookout for that if you're interested!

6. if youre here from my merlin content, specifically my pirate au, please know that i will try and get some where with that! but im also still not too sure on what pairing to have if i even have one (i probably will)

Madame Web Production BS

Just to be clear, I love this movie. But I love talking about what a dumpster fire it was behind the scenes so let me point everything wrong with my favourite of the year so far. SPOILERS!

• Cass’s personality is not fleshed out… that’s a major problem. I feel like they just told Dakota Johnson to do what she wants the whole movie BUT then right at they end they decide to give Cass a personality completely ripped from the comics. And it doesn’t work with the way Dakota was playing her the whole movie and these no character development over the course of the movie, so it’s actually a little scary seeing her switch at the end.

• None of the characters have a personality actually. The villain was the worst to be fair because I still don’t really understand his motives. Like… you tricked and murdered a pregnant woman and a few others because your family was poor? And you think Spidey strength will fix that? Um, ok. So is mine but I don’t know.. wouldn’t kill anybody over it though.

• I hate Sydney Sweeney’s image. And it’s not her or her marketing teams fault. It’s her fans’ and her directors. She’s constantly purposely dressed sexy in movies (even when dressed down like a nerd, she’s still sexualised) but then is playing a child. Like wtf. They did it to her in Euphoria and they’ve done it to her again in Madame Web. And how Sydney dresses for press also is clearly influenced by directors and fans’, like the look isn’t just what they want for her characters but also how she’s expected to be irl too. It’s kind of sick and related to how paedophilic things are still normalised in our society today, I’ll have to say that rant for another day though.

• Why does it feel like nobody cared about this movie? The script feels like the first draft that was supposed to have rewrites but nobody was bothered. Same with the editing, everything but especially the dialogue and music feels so placeholder, why was it in the finished project? Like even the Google cast page is not finished, only the leads have their character names on there. Zosia Mament (the villain’s assistant) is credited as fucking ‘Actress’.

• Why was Cassie able to fly to Peru when she’s a wanted criminal? Why is she flying to Peru when talking about laying low because she’s a WANTED CRIMINAL??!

• The writers constantly forgetting what year it is was hilarious and the editors just throwing one Brittney Spears song in and a few Beyonce billboards in to cover up their mistake is also hilarious.

• ACTUALLY, apparently the whole reason the movie was set in 2003 was because the director really wanted to use Toxic in the movie. Because apparently you can’t play a song in a movie if the movie doesn’t take place in the same year the song was released 🤡

• BUT Toxic was released in 2004 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

• The writers taking the time setting as a opportunity to reference Garfield’s Spider-Man but then also forgetting that that SM was born in 1995 🤡🤡🤡🤡

• Yes I checked, they specifically wanted to reference Garfield’s Spidey, but through editing they realised their mistake and started trying to make it look like they were talking about Tom Holland’s SM instead, which risks breaking some rules with Marvel… AND THAT SPIDEY WAS BORN IN 2001 SO THEY STILL FUCKED UP. The fact that a simple Google and common sense (like they must of know Garfield’s fist SM movie took place in 2012 and if he was born in 2003, he would of been only 9 years old in 2012 😑) would of fixed this problem is again hilarious.

• Obviously the biggest goof was Dakota Johnson not realising she’s not in a Marvel movie and firing her agent the same day the trailer got dropped 🤡

• She also might be in trouble for posting the teaser on her Instagram and tagging Marvel before the trailer dropped (so before she found out), but I don’t think Dakota manages her own socials tbh. That post was removed then put back up without a Marvel tag.

• The press tour is amazingly bad, I love it.

• Not seeing the girls turn or become heroes was probably the worst part about this movie but I knew that going in so didn’t mind too much. But the real issue is with how Sony keeps straight up lying to their audience with their trailers. Obviously some studios add somethings into their trailer to create more interest for the audience but that’s not what Sony is doing, they are straight up LYING. And they do it so often now I want to fight whoever is in charge of that, they are the reason this movie flopped.

• Them and the writers… and whoever decided to hire the Morbius writers again, everyone there deserves to lose their jobs.

• The only reason I want this movie to do well is because I want Madame Web to have more movies with Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Adam Scott, Isabella Mercer, Emma Roberts and Celeste O’Connor all returning. But I really don’t see that happening now, I can’t see Dakota signing another contract with Sony or doing everything to get out of this contract if it’s not over yet.

• The fact that they had to dub the villain’s lines makes me so confused to why he was hired? He didn’t even give a good performance, not saying he’s a bad actor (I’ve heard he’s great on other movies), but he really didn’t do anything in MW.

• And the part with the FBI agent and the villain had me so confused too. Like, did she seduce him to find out information about him? Because it makes sense that the FBI would be suspicious of this guy. But then did he see through her act and decide to at least get laid before killing her and stealing her passcode? But everyone is saying he seduce her for her passcodes and yeah I’m confused.

• The problem is the pacing and how everything that needs explaining isn’t, but everything that doesn’t need an explanation IS explained. And too much.

“He worked with my Mom in this place looking for this spider right before she died”

That’s not the exact quote but it’s pretty close to and that’s less than 5 minutes in. Ok thanks spoiling the whole movie to me. I really didn’t know a movie could spoil the movie to me.
