Arackniss can't decide who's more confused. Angel when he finds out Molly and Velevette slept together or Molly when she realises Velvette is one of Angel's ex-boss' partners.

What if the spiderman squad was playing the floor is lava. Imagine how chaotic it would be once they realize they could use their webs to cheat. And then everyone gets mad bc everyone is doing their own thing and trying to make the others lose 😭😭 btw hello 👋
Okay so this would actually be pretty interesting and maybe almost cause world war 3 between some people, also heyyy<3
(Also if anyone else has any ideas please share them)
Miles: definitely was the one who started it all by yelling, THE FLOOR IS LAVA YOU HAVE 5 SECONDS TO GET TO SAFETY. He also was the first to use his web shooters and everyone was pissed and said he cheated but he asked lyla and she said its not considered cheating. He also used his invisibility a few times so no one could get to him and it worked. I feel like he would kinda not wanna push his friends but would end up doing so anyway.
Gwen: girl is not afraid to hurt someone. She will kick any of them in the face, maybe not miles but who knows, she unpredictable! She would be the one to start would war 3 with someone if she felt they cheated.
Hobie and Pavitr: would secretly team up to win and take over the government- *coughs* I mean Gwen and miles. Hobie would also recruit Mayday because he just wants to see his little anarchist blossom and flourish. I feel like Gwen would push Pavitr and then him and Hobie would act super dramatic. It would be like the scene in titanic when jack sank. And then he’d make it his mission to hunt down Gwen!
Peter b: at first said it would be unsafe to do this but would join in anyway cause who wouldn’t join. Wasn’t as serious as the kids but would throw a fit if he lost. Also would comfort Hobie when he lost his teammate.
The ultimate show down would be between Gwen and Hobie. They’d make it super dramatic and force lyla to put on dramatic music. Miles would be cheering on Gwen while Pavitr would cheer on Hobie. Peter b and Mayday would just watch with popcorn.
At one point they would both fall at the same time and in the heat of their argument about who won, Miguel would step in and say, I obviously won you stupid little amateurs! And Gwen would stare him dead in the eyes and say, bitch you thought you ate but you didn’t, the only thing you’ll ever win is the award for the most annoying little bitch! Pavitr would be like go off girl. And then while they were arguing Peter b would go steal the trophy Lyla made for them.
The end!!

Miles 🩷
Anyways it’s really cool that marvel had a character who was suddenly introduced into a new timeline where they didnt previously exist and has to deal with the ramifications of that alongside the loss of their previous mentor figure and friends.
And its really on brand that they barely explored any of that with miles and made up a new white boy with some extra fanfiction style sad ritz to have that storyline instead 🤡

What kind of yandere are they?
Tumblr media
Explanations below/Click for higher res
MK has been through so very much. The glamour of being a hero wore off quick, leaving him with many insecurities and doubts. Giving him someone innocent and kind to protect stabilizes him somewhat, but makes him more vicious in an effort to ensure their safety.
Sun Wukong thinks as something worth protecting. You give him a purpose and a good reason to dust off his old bones and return to fighting- all he asks in turn is that you stay on Flower Fruit Mountain with him. And the world getting it’s greatest hero back is a worthy trade for your lack of freedom, isn’t it? (The most likely to kidnap you, tied with Macaque.)
Ne Zha uses you as motivation for his fervent service. If the celestial realm has you, then it’s clearly worth protecting. If someone so good and kind resides there, then why should he waver in his duty? This extends to personal fights in your name- he rarely comes out unbloodied.
———————————————————————
The Mayor keeps a close on eye on you, always watching from the shadows. You probably have a tie to the Lady Bone Demon in some way, an heir to her blood or powers. He cultivates your misery by pulling strings and arranged misfortunes- the fact that no one stops him or saves you is proof enough (to him) that the world is rotted to the core. Proof that it needs to be destroyed. Proof that you need something, or someone better- maybe him?
You justify the Lady Bone Demon’s ideals. She watches as you suffer and break, your kind soul perpetually punished for good deeds and unyielding optimism. If you trust people, they betray you. If you help people, they hurt you. Your life is proof to her that the world is cruel, and needs to be wiped clean. So she obsessively watches from afar, her mind constantly plagued with thoughts of you, and thoughts of ending your suffering. (The most manipulative yandere on this list.)
Azure Lion sees you cast from the Celestial Realms, thrown out for daring to try and improve the lives of mortals without approval from the Celestial Bureaucracy. Not only are you a perfect member for his brotherhood (and he will get you to join), but you also reaffirm to Azure what he’s fighting for.
———————————————————————
Zhu Baije is a very flawed man. By his own nature, he’s something of a troublemaker. You work to counteract many of the problems he causes, working hard to ensure that no fissure in the group grows too big. It’s easy to think of you as someone worthy of worship- you seem to have an endless well of patience and kindness. He just wishes that you gave a little less of it to people who aren’t him.
Ao Lie watches you close. He sees how you struggle to pull everyone together even when things are at their absolute worst, and respects your efforts. He sees a person always willing to stand up for other and for what’s right, never allowing yourself to stand idly by. The harder you fight to mend rifts between people, the more admirable you become to him.
———————————————————————
Mei just wants you- she doesn’t bother thinking it through or wondering exactly why. You’re nice and you’re good, so you’re hers. Her parents are fully supportive of her attempts to ‘adopt’ you, and have a room set aside for the day they ‘bring you home’.
Pigsy doesn’t think of his obsession as a hero, warrior, or soldier. He instead views them as a child in need or guidance and protection, the sort who would be benefit nicely from being taken under his wing- likely enlisting Tang and MK to help him corral you into his care. (The most likely to succeed in his goal, tied with Sanzang)
———————————————————————
Princess Iron Fan doesn’t think much of you at first, viewing you as a little more than a disposable pawn. But, to her surprise- you perform far more admirably than expected, so keeping you both alive and close becomes the rational course of action. She gets used to using you, then gets used to you, then wants you. And Iron Fan knows how to get what she wants.
Macaque at first is just using you, stringing you along. He trains you to be more like him, feeds you lies about Wukong and MK, gets you to hate them by filling your head with falsehoods. And somewhere along the line, he ends up getting attached. Instead of getting better, he doubles down on his manipulations, intent on keeping you close. (The most likely to kidnap you, tied with Wukong.)
———————————————————————
Tang Sanzang sees so much potential in you. You’re a feral little thing, tucked away under bushes and baring your teeth at him- a child acting like a wild animal. His holy heart aches for you, thinking of the struggles you must’ve endured through your life. With a pair of heavenly circlets for your wrists, Sanzang inducts you along for his pilgrimage, intent on bettering you bit by bit- by force, if he must.
Expect lots of tutoring and life lessons, all delivered with endless patience and a paternal attitude. Teaching you to read and write and behave might be harder than pulling teeth, but it will be done. Not to mention the four other pilgrims whom he positions as your ‘brothers’, who adore and respect him, each one swayed by his words of what’s ‘best for you’. (The most likely to succeed in his goal, tied with Pigsy.)
Tang probably mirrors Pigsy in his acquiring of a child- he finds some dirty little waif on the streets and takes them in as his own. Something ancient and repeating calls from within him, pushing him to take this little unfortunate thing into his care, to push them to be ever better- an inner voice calling for him to be kind and merciful. And really, who is he to deny such a kind urge?
Master Subodhi is a wonderful judge of character, capable of picking out both the flaws and strengths of a person. You could be troubled and impatient, or rude and reticent. All that matters is there’s true good inside you- however embryonic it may be. Through strict guidance- and with a not insignificant amount of amusement at the shenanigans you cause with his other students- Subodhi manages to slowly molds you into a better and stronger person. Mind you, all of this is through the masterful use of manipulation. Expect his other students to help him reign you in and chip away at your resolve to leave. (The most likely to have an obsession that’s stronger than him.)
———————————————————————
Sandy thinks that you’re simply wonderful. You’ve been a constant supportive force in his life, encouraging his therapy sessions, teaching him how to brew tea, vouching for him to shelters across the city. With your support, Sandy slowly becomes a better person, leaving behind most of his obsessive and possessive behavior behind. There are lingering traces, hints of overprotectiveness and denial of consent, holding you too tight in his arms and not letting go or slipping sleeping pills into your tea… but even those habits lessen in frequency and severity.
That, or you might be a child of his that he wants to be a better role model for. Sandy wants you to be happy! He wants you to be confident! He wants you to have a good dad! So he almost unhealthily works to improve himself, finding positive ways to channel his most toxic and unhealthy traits, hoping to become someone worthy of your love. (The least likely to hurt you.)
Everyone else treats Sha Wujing like a monster, hurling wicked names and cruel words. ‘Demon’ and ‘fiend’, they decree, and Wujing has long internalized their words as truth. He’s plenty happy to act on his learned monstrosity, lashing out at any who draw near- until you come along with a simple compliment and an admission of weakness. You aren’t strong enough to fight, not quick enough to run from him- but you’re kind enough that he doesn’t think to butcher you. Growing obsessed with you amplified some of his worst traits while also teaching him about unconditional love and support, the dichotomy of equal progression preventing any true growth for a time. Once Sanzang comes along, Wujing has to think long and hard on who he is and what he’s done and who he wants to be and what he wants to do- and decides to be better for you.
There aren’t many people that the Demon Bull King cares for, but you’ve managed to worm your way into his stony heart anyhow. It’s awkward to try and be open with someone so squishy and frail, but he makes a token effort to be less intimidating and overbearing so you aren’t as scared. It’s not easy settling you into his family (especially with his son now battling you for his attention), but he’s sure you’ll get used to it eventually. Iron Fan is more on board with your induction than her son, coming to view you as a lovable; if weak, second child. Red Son refrains from outright violence, but is notably icy over the sudden competition for affection. Still, in the strangest of ways- it’s family.
———————————————————————
Chang’e has been alone for a very long time. There’s no real way to know exactly how long, but isolation has taken it’s toll. Is it so bad to want someone to dote on and nourish? No! So you and her should be family! She’s even more insistent if Y/N is leporine in some way- the two of you are meant to be family! A loving lunar goddess and her perfect little lop, together on the moon. To her, it sounds like something out of a fairy tale. It might be more of a saccharine nightmare to her captive, though. (The most capable of keeping Y/N from escaping.)
The Scorpion Queen really just wants a friend, no matter what it takes to get one. Loneliness has gnawed away at her inhibitions and morals, leading her to snatch up the sweetest looking person around and haul them back to her castle. She’s not above using poison to keep you complement, brewing up several blends from her own venom. Paralytics, sedatives, you name it. One quick sting and you’re helpless in the Queen’s arms, ready to be pampered and protected. After she’s done cleaning and patching your new wound, of course.
Kui Mulang has been waiting for his lover for so very long… and then you come stumbling in, wide-eyed and unaware of the dangers that the demon possesses. You’re a funny little mortal, unworthy of having your weak soul devoured- not only would it not expand his lifespan too much, but he fears it might even make him weaker. Instead, he forces you to become a cute little companion/pet and regales you with tales of his lover, filling your ears with descriptions of her beauty and kindness. Don’t get the wrong idea, though- you aren’t making him a better person. He’s just found one single person to not be totally awful to. (The most likely to replace his obsession.)
———————————————————————
Syntax admires your work from afar, picking apart every bit of tech you manufacture. He’ll install dozens of cameras across your home just for the joy of watching you scramble to disable or destroy them. With the sheer volume of spyware distributed, it’s inevitable that you miss at least a few, allowing the spiderized man to maintain constant surveillance. He inducts your work into his own, picking apart the blueprints he’s stolen from you, admiring the many lines of code you’ve written. There’s a new camera in your house each day, slowly stealing away all privacy. The concept of a ‘blindspot’ doesn’t exist in Syntax’s carefully curated world- no closet, corner, or crawl space is safe from his leering eyes. You’re then subjected to 24/7 surveillance, your life becoming an ever-present livestream on the screens of Syntax’s machines. (The least likely to personally interact with his obsession.)
Huntsman has never seen a worthier adversary. You match him blow for blow and thwart his traps at each turn. He has to keep upping the ante as you escape his clutches, an ever evolving quarry worthy of pursuit. The biggest (and only) dilemma he has in regards to his obsession is whether he should taxidermy or cage you. Either way, you’ll make a nice trophy. (The most likely to kill you.)
It takes a saint to gain the Ink Curse’s attention. You have to be the most wonderful goody-two shoes darling in the world, a person who’s mature and rational and kind and responsible and generous and wise and loving. If you can manage all of that, along with having no major character flaws or massive mistakes in your past… then you have their attention. It is the worst prize you could have ever received.
Alternatively, be a child who gets trapped in the scroll. There’ll be a mocking form of pity to every interaction, but the Curse might try to mold you into an equally brutal punisher of sins. After all, what else can you do? You’re stuck, aren’t you? Get used to the company, kiddo. (The most likely to break you.)
Yellowtusk would happily speak with you until all the rivers of the world run dry. The two of you match wits in civil debates, opposing each other’s viewpoints and arguments with fervor. No stakes, no hatred, no grudges- just debate for the sake of debate. You grow together, sharing your wells of knowledge and expanding the breadth of your wisdom side by side. His obsession with you is softer than most, quelled by quick chats and simple skinship - but it’s obsession all the same, waiting to spiral out of control.
———————————————————————
Red Son’s pride is an irrefutable aspect of him. The half-demon views himself as superior to all but a select few- and you, unfortunately, do not fall into that group. Red thinks of you as something akin to a cherished pet, worthy of care and companionship, but not freedom or respect. He could control almost every aspect of your life if he so wanted, but that’s more trouble than he desires. If you behave properly, Red allows you to dress yourself and have a small collection of personal possessions. Also, expect him to personally forge you a tracking collar emblazoned with his family’s insignia. (He truly does care about you- deep, deep, deep down in his heart. But you’re still lesser than him.)
If you happen to be his sibling, though, his treatment of you becomes more bearable. He’s still insanely possessive and domineering, but there’s more respect for you as a person.
The Spider Queen also thinks of you as a pet, a cute little thing to dress up and lock in chains. You make the most wonderful decoration for her throne room, shaking in the corner with a shackle clasped around your wrist. Everything you wear is produced from her own silken webs, everything you eat is caught and killed with her own two hands. If you step too far out of line, expect your next meal to be the corpse of a loved one.
Peng looks at you with some strange mixture of pity and amusement. (There’s some genuine care in there, but they’d never admit it.) You’re the smallest and youngest of the Brotherhood, with naivety and kindness to match. They find it funny to toy with you in a variety of ways, though they take care to never truly cause harm. Ex: Knocking into you for the sole purpose of tripping you up, biting back laughs as you apologize for ‘not paying attention.’ Peng will ‘forgive’ what you perceive as a personal mistake, hauling you up and dusting you off before sending you on your way. You’re a fun toy. A devoted sibling. A cute little time-killer. And, somehow- the person they cherish above all else.

Headcanon, theory, prediction, whatever you want to call it,
but I think the reason that the universe Miquel hijacked collapsed, and not Miles, despite them both being “anomalies” is because Miquel was trying to change someone else’s story, as opposed to Miles who inspires other people to change their own stories.
Like, Miquel tried to force himself into a universe that wasn’t his. He took the place of his counterpart and pretended to be him, he was playing a part that wasn’t meant for him, he was changing a story that wasn’t his. And the universe rejected that.
Whereas Miles inspires people to change their own stories. His universe didn’t collapse because that’s HIS universe. It’s HIS story to tell, and sure the plot changed along the way, but he’s still telling it.
The same with 42-Miles. His story was drastically changed because he wasn’t bitten by that spider, but his universe isn’t collapsing because he’s the one still telling the story. He’s still shaping his own future.
And like how Miles inspired Peter B to have Mayday at all. Without Miles, Peter wouldn’t have gone back to his and he wouldn’t have had Mayday. But his universe isn’t collapsing because that’s a decision PETER made. No one forced him to make up with MJ and have Mayday. But Miles gave him faith and inspired him to go back and give life another try. (Don’t even get me started how Peter would have literally DIED if not for Miles. He was going to stay in Miles dimension. He was fully ready to deteriorate. He literally would have died if not for Miles saying “NO BITCH YOU GOTTA GO HOME” much less inspiring him to have Mayday, I’m just saying I’m just saying.)
And the thing is I don’t think Miquel realizes that. He’s so caught up in his grief and anger that he’s completely consumed with following canon and my never disrupting ANYTHING. He doesn’t realize that that universe collapsed because he tried to change someone ELSES story. He tried to become someone else to live their story. He didn’t try to make his own and that’s not how it works.
Idk just thinking thots tonight, And ATSV is always at the top of my brain

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you should make an OC.
You should make an OC. Specifically a Spider-Sona. Like now. Preferably yesterday. [A MEDIUM-LONG essay about OC's, fanfiction, and how to enrich and better your writing skills in literally every sector. Throughout this essay I reference my two characters Disco-Spider and Inca-Spider as examples of the way OCs can be used.]
_________________________________________
"But no one cares about OCs -"
OKKAYYYY??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IDK about ya'll but fandom is NOT my final destination no siree
I feel like a lot of the time we get so caught up in posting and notes we forget that for many artists and writers on this platform - fanfiction is not the true end goal.
Many of us write and draw fanart for years -
But the fact of the matter is if you want to be an author someday, if you want to be a graphic novelist, an animator, etc, etc - You're going to HAVE to make OCs.
If you want to study English in college or publish books - you're gonna have to write an OC at least once. If not hundreds of times.
If you want to study art - chances are at some point you're gonna have to fill a portfolio with original pieces, including some of OCs.
If you want to do something with your writing, if you want to get better - or make a career out of your art, you HAVE to make OCs at some point.
And this is especially true for fanfiction writers.
You can get very very very good at writing in your specific fandoms, you may have the emotions of the characters on point, and the ability to describe the scenery.
But if you don't know how to create and design a character - if you don't know how to worldbuild, or come up with scenarios without the help of characterai and ChatGPT - you won't be able to write a book.
If you're an artist and you don't know how to draw an original character from scratch, how to match colors, how to draw certain skin tones, certain hair, wheelchairs and mobility aids, how to design a character from looks, to clothing - it's going to be so hard to expand your art outside of fanart. You'll always be beholden to the notes and popularity of your particular fandom.
Do it - even if you've never written or never draw before. Even better.
That's why I CHAMPION Spider-sonas so much. They're basically OCs on easy mode.
Can't write backgrounds yet? Here's a bucket on canon events to pick from? Can't draw faces? Blank mask with eyes.
Hell, if you're really really new about it - just pick a character and make a slightly different variant. Make a Hobie of your own, make a Peter variant. Make a Mary Jane variant. Pick a something you like and turn that into a character.
Can't write? Just fill-in the 'My name is [blank], I was bitten by a [blank]' script that Miles does. Can't draw, just draw out a basic shape of a body and color-out the suit, no fancy pose needed. That still counts!!
Make a self-insert. Make yourself fit into the story, design your suit, write out how you fight crime, how you'd act at the Society, meeting Miguel or Miles.
That's still character design, that's still worldbuilding.
We always hear people say 'Make art for yourself' and yeah that sounds nice - but people also misinterpret it.
Make art for yourself doesn't just mean making art that you personally like.
Making art for yourself also means making art that develops your skills even if no one gives a fuck. It's about making art as practice without the intention of it being 'completed', making OCs that never get used, drawing locations you see or writing a random ass short story then shoving it into your Google Drive forever.
Making art for yourself means making art that invests in yourself.
It means making art that interests you, challenges you, or helps you develop.
And making OC's helps develop your fanfic writing skills.
In may fandoms we begin to fall into these routine 'tropes' between characters and their personalities. This is usually known as the 'fanon' characterization.
Because when you have a set amount of characters and people, there's also a set amount of interactions and relationships between those people.
Writing OCs and having those OCs interact with canon characters allows you to dig deeper into sides of the canon characters we'd never otherwise see.
That's why I wrote Disco-Spider Diane like I do. Often, we see Hobie characterized as the chaotic, rowdy, confident type - which is perfect characterization for him. But in almost all of his interactions - he's the wilder, bolder, extroverted one. I wanted to put him in a situation where for once, he was the calmer one. I wanted to explore more grounded and chill sides of Hobie, one where he's the one grounding the other, and thinking logically - because in canon, we're hinted at a side of Hobie who's way more methodical and slow-paced and willing to stop and wait it out and play it off. And I wanted to see that. I wanted to explore what he'd do if he was faced with someone just as chaotic, who put on a cheeky ironic act - just the same as him.
Because no other characters serve that purpose in canon.
If there are elements of a character or concept you think are interesting but outright ignored by canon and fanon, you can create an OC to explore those parts.
For Disco-Spider: I wanted to explore how someone like a militant Black Panther would handle being Spider-woman, when Spider-people are usually shown as pacifists - what that would look like or how it'd shape her morals based on era, etc. For Inca-Spider: I realized there were so many culture based Spider people like Pavitr and Spider-UK. But none for indigenous communities, and NONE from countries that only existed in other universes. So, I created an indigenous character from Tawanti - a country that's located where Peru would be for us.
You can give a canon character a sibling, to explore how they'd interact with family. Give them a partner that acts totally different than their canon partner, write how that'd change the way they show love.
OC's make your original writing better, AND your fanfiction writing too. They can help you understand canon characters on a deeper level.
And sure, nobody likes your OC. NOW.
But every single character you write about, is someones OC. Every character you write about was once treated that way. Once upon a time, Dean Winchester was just some rando character in the pilot script of a show that hadn't picked up yet. Probably no one gave a fuck until CW picked it up.
The writers had to not only make him and develop him - they had to BELIEVE in him enough to pitch him to a TV show channel to make people care.
That's always the first step. Believing your character's story is worthy enough of being told and presenting it as such.
ESPECIALLY if your OC represents a demographic you don't see represented. Cause yes if there isn't any black women in canon then I'll Thanos this shit and do it myself.
Make OCs.
Write them. Draw them. Even if it's bad. Who the hell cares. Big Mouth is on Netflix with multiple seasons, have you seen that show?? 'Ugly' art is not a crime.
Make piccrews, fill out OCforms or take quiz's as them. Write little blurbs of them hanging with canon characters then post it in the tag.
You don't need a huge Spidersona sheet or a long long fic explaining their backstory. They can just be there.
MAKE OCs.
Make them to explore more in your fanfiction, make them so future you can write that novel or draw or that comic or sell those prints or whatever it is you plan to do.
Make it so your fanfiction AND original writing can grow stronger. It isn't just about notes and content and follows.
Make an OC. Make a Spidersona. Literally you have nothing to lose but your chains.
"Nobody cares-"
Oh they'll care when you pop out with that 6-book publishing deal. They'll care when you're designing big characters for movies. Cause that's how it happens. Watch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ANYWAYSSSS if you made it this far I hope this inspired you to at least play around with the idea of OCs and Spidersonas in general.
Here's Hobie.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BYE.
If you want to make a sona and are kinda lost on where to start, lemme know!! Because I think they're amazing starting places for those who have never written or drawn before. Or if you have a sona but want to develop them further.
I haven't seen a guide to spidersonas and i wonder if that's something some people might want/need.
Seriously if I can even get one person into writing or drawing I'll be over the goddamn moon.
MAKE OCS PLEASE.

I made a found family au for Spider and my PC's I thought I'd share, mood boards included 🤭🤭🤭:
This is Spider's vibe in this au, nothing too different from canon. He's Eywa's little golden warrior. A ray of light on the land. Maybe a tad blessed, but mostly just himself. Spunky and bright and adventurous.
Tumblr media
this is Sa'ana and A'nak. young lovers that have been forced around the Metkayina and Ta'unui Islands by love and the war, who will eventually settle in Awa'atlu.
Tumblr media
(for whatever these two photos will not stay side by side)
Tumblr media
Sa'ana is a ceremonial dancer of the Metkayina and Ta'unui villages. Her parents are Metkayina, while her husband's are Ta'unui. She is also a crafter known for her intricate she'll work and a surfer, a hobby she shares with her husband. She is around 20 at the start of her story.
A'nak is a younger scout, also around 20, and warrior of the Ta'unui, with ties to a long line of open ocean scouts who patrol on the outer edge of the reef. He met Sa'ana during one of his scouting runs where he would come to rest and trade for supplies in her village.
their vibes:
Tumblr media
They're ey're such cuties, I just wanna squish them.
(lore continued below, I just rambled a ton and it got a little long 🤭 Edit from after finishing the post: scratch that. a lot long. severely long)
The baby was a product of teenage love and the fast pace of it all, which led them to being slightly unprepared for the tasks ahead, but they fast it together... until fate ripped their dreams of making it work apart.
The RDA activity had led A'nak to be called away from his village far more often and for longer periods, while Sa'ana was alone and afraid.
Spider and Sa'ana initially met during the Ta'unui raids when Sa'ana attempted to hide her infant in her Mauri, not knowing the were targets for burning. She had been alone in the village with little support, as she had recently moved to live amongst her husband and his family, before he was called away to scout and protect the village from the RDA presence. While she was loved by his family and his people, she was in an unfamiliar place with people who were still more strangers than family. And as she was not a fighter, and rather a dancer and crafter, she struggled to break free from the hold of the soldiers to reach her baby. it was Spider who recognized the meaning of her cries and ran into the blazes of the mauri ti save the child.
She would forever remember his act. She was young, alone, and scared, and he had come to her and her child's rescue in the time of their greatest need, despite it being dangerous for him to do so. He disobeyed his captors and risked death or even more serious injury than the burns to his back to protect her and her baby, because getting into an argument with Quaritch about being heartless, never once dropping the protective stance he took in front of her. He made her feel less afraid during one of the most traumatic moments of her life.
Their ways would be forcefully parted for many weeks before Sa'ana was forced to leave her husband's village. After the burning of both his and her villages, she could not find the support and safety she needed for herself and her son, and her husband was not due back from the reefs edge for many more weeks, as he was a warrior for the clan.
which will eventually lead her to traveling to Awa'atlu, the island's stronghold village, and there, she would be reunited with the boy who had so bravely saved her and her child.
Spider had yet to be entirely accepted by the people of Awa'atlu. He'd been allowed to stay and he had the Sully children to call family, but he was pretty lonely. A stranger, just like Sa'ana. And she accepts him with open arms. She had heard of his presence here and was more than excited to be reunited. Her son had begun to walk since they'd last met, and that was because Spider had saved him. He allowed her son to live until his first steps. She speaks of his bravery to his new clan and how good he is, hoping to influence their acceptance of him
Spider is happy to see her as well, to see that she and her son are safe and unharmed. He's rather obsessed with Nani, always watching over him and making sure he doesn't out shells in his mouth, building sand castles with him, getting in the occasional fight, cause she difference doesn't matter, a 17 year old and a one year old will manage to have beef (Spider is have the time of his life).
Sa'ana ends up getting his help around her mauri, which is in the deepest section inland of the village, so she's in a little foresty cove. She is closer to Spider's age than she is to being his mother (they have a 3/4 year age difference), so their relationship is something between friends and siblings, while she is still motherly at times. Spider does chores and brings her fish or hunts from the forests he's far better adapted to hunt in, and makes sure no one bothers her. She cooks and crafts for them and makes sure Spider doesn't feel alone.
Spider needed that after everything that happened over the span of the last few months. While he needed a true parent, after his ordeal with trauma bonding with Q and all that entailed, he wasn't ready for an authority/guardian figure in his life. He would have sabotaged any attempts made, but considering his status, no one would have tried to begin with. She wasn't his mother, she wasn't in charge of him, she was just someone he could lean on, nearly an equal, but just a bit older and wiser and reliable, and he felt safe with her.
Spider would bring his siblings to see Nani and play in the tide pools on the forest edge, and it was nice. it helped them feel a bit more... ok, after losing Neteyam, and with the RDA smog on the horizon. And Sa'ana liked hearing the gaggle of children outside of her home, playing with her child.
It would take weeks for A'nak to be relieved from his scouting duties and to make his way to Awa'atlu, where he decided he would stay, regardless of their families choices, so he could be with his wife; they tried to do things the traditional ways, moving with one of their families, but that didn't work, and Sa'ana got hurt in the process, and he would never leave her side again.
Spider does not like him at first. He sees A'nak as a man who couldn't handle his commitment and abandoned Sa'ana and Nani to be a warrior. It takes a while for him to trust the man. He doesn't like him, doesn't trust him to stick around, nor does he believe that he deserves Sa'ana and actively tries to get her to dump his ass. he is the biggest hater. He only gets along with him in the beginning to not stress out Sa'ana, and so she'll leave them with the baby to go take a proper break and mingle and breathe without anxiety.
A'nak does not know what to do with the kid. He's Sa'ana's.... kid? brother? friend? He has no idea what he should be doing. Should he be gently fathering him like Sa'ana mothers him at times? or would they just get him punched in the jaw? (it's the latter).
But eventually Spider will trust his commitment and open up to him, and they become very close. Spider will always give him shit and challenge his authority, but at the end of the day, when he doesn't have an answer or needs someone to have his back, he'll look for A'nak. and while A'nak doesn't know what to call this kid, he knows he would die for him. He would shield his body with his own. He would love mountains for him just like he would for Nani. That's his son and his brother and one of his best friends and that's all that matters.
They're the first people he tells about Quaritch being alive, and while it doesn't go over without reaction, they took it well enough, because that's their boy. They know him. They know he had a reason. And they trust him. He told them, knowing the risks, and he was honest, and his eyes held so much pain. So they help him break the news to the rest of the village and give him unconditional shelter no matter everyone else's reaction.
"I saved the monster that destroyed your home"
"You saved your father. Monster or not, he was your father."
"How are you ok with this?"
"I already know you enough to forgive you."
Sa'ana takes it best. She saw the boy in her village. Saw how torn his heart was. Knows that no matter the feelings he harbors for his father, his people will come first. A'nak needs to step away for a moment, which is the first turn Spider ever truly wanted him to stay, so he didn't do or say something foolish. But he gets over it, especially when the rest of the village gets s little hostile and he begins to guard the scar on his chest he never really asked about whenever he's near the eldest Sully woman. At that point that paternal instincts to protect unconditionally win. No one will touch his kid.
When the warfront returns to the shores of Awa'atlu, A'nak does everything to keep Spider from it, but ultimately takes him under his wing to make sure when he does sneak into battle, he doesn't get himself killed (though Spider does stay behind with Sa'ana and Nani often enough).
in the peace times Sa'ana and A'nak teach him to surf, and will take him all the way out to the edge of the reef to catch the good waves. A'nak takes Spider to scout when he resumes taking shorter, half day, trips. They each him the ceremonial dances of their people, for fun, and they practice together at night, and its so refreshing to do as a little family.
Spider takes Nani everywhere. They're attached at the hip. Spider is always taking him places and cooing to him and making him stuff. Over protective big brother to the max. This is the baby sibling he gets to raise, and that's special. He was only eight and barely accepted when Tuk was born. This is monumental for him. You never see them too far apart for very long. Even if it's a five minute check in every now and then when he's with his friends and other siblings. Nani is represented on his songchord by a pearl.
A'nak even put up with Spider's attempts to claim a Tsurak. He was a little shocked when he succeeded, but he pretends he always had faith (it's gonna be one of those stories he tells 20 years later and finally admits the truth. "I was only there cause I was gonna try and keep you from getting yourself killed")
in the end, Spider ends up living with them most of the time, he spends some nights with his siblings or with Ao'nung (cause they're totally crushing a little. and I think Sa'ana would giggle at the prospect of Spider falling for someone that reminds her of a younger A'nak, while A'nak himself pales at the mere thought. now he gets why Spider hated him so much), but he's home with them. With little Nani. In the mauri he helped make their own. And more often then not, he sleeps between them with Nani tucked in his arms.
He isn't alone anymore.

Okay after doing some thinking. I have decided to make this Tumblr where I post my upcoming manga instead of doing the Spider-Man and Batman crossover. But trust me I will still be posting Spider-Man and Batman/Bat family art

Identity Within - Chapter 13 - Unlikely Alliance (PREVIEW)
“You have to be shittin’ me!”
Clint’s frustration wasn’t just heard in his shout. The loud smack of his hand bounced throughout the room; his palm struck the table he sat at, disrupting the lingering, ongoing silence that came from their collective focus.
It drew attention from everyone but Tony.
“Not a damn thing! I’ve been stifling through footage for hours, and not a damn thing!” Pushing himself away from the computer, Clint let the wheels of his chair take him halfway across the room — passing by Mantis on the way, still sitting cross-legged on the floor. He paid her no mind. “Facial recognition hasn’t found anything even remotely close to him, the entire state of New York is coming up empty—”
“Coming up empty for Peter, yes,” Rhodey curtly interrupted, looking up from his own monitors and locking eyes right on Clint. “For Norman, no. So you keep looking.”
There was a gravity in Rhodey’s tone that said everything he didn’t need to. A gravity that Tony had scarcely heard before — and standing off to the side of the room, with his back against the wall and his forehead heavy in his hand, Tony wasn’t sure he wanted to think back on the times he’d heard his friend sound so grim.
The situation shook his bones, seized his muscles — he couldn’t move, couldn’t think past the same haunting, indelible reality. The same one that he’d been fighting against all year, the same one he’d been fighting to protect Peter against—
It was happening.
This was happening.
Tony suddenly pinched at the bridge of his nose, hard, and swallowed a mouthful of reflux that came surging up his chest.
Osborn had gotten to him.
This was real, and it was happening.
They all worked swiftly, urgently. But when Thor had returned to the compound empty-handed of answers, and Strange still struggled with magic that was supposed to surpass them all — well, Tony fully understood why Rhodey sounded how he did.
Every minute was critical. And the minutes were passing by quicker than they could work.
“There’s no telling how Osborn got to the church.” Clint wasn’t oblivious to the Colonel’s tone. Still, his frustrations showed. “The last any camera picked up on him, he’d entered the F.E.A.S.T shelter one week ago, and it’s only safe to assume that’s him leaving exactly forty eight minutes later.” A finger pointed to the further monitor ahead, and he kept it there for some time. The tremble was almost noticeable. “You try keeping tabs on every person in New York who looks like that — that, right there, is your average vegabond drifter! I’ve got a five hundred and sixty eight results that come up for each minute of the day when trying to narrow down facial recognition to that! The man went off the damn radar, he’s as a good as gone!”
“Keep looking,” Natasha didn’t spare Clint from the obstinacy in her voice. It was a feat she could speak at all, with her focus unbreakable on the multiple different screens that she watched. Her eyes darted them without delay. “As long as Rhodey keeps these firewalls down, you have unlimited access to every red light camera, traffic camera, speed camera—”
“—and they’ve all got nothing, Nat!” Clint threw his frustration right back at her. He wheeled his chair in the opposite way, rolling back to the computers ahead — though not eager to get back to the task at hand. “We can’t pin-point Osborn when he looks like every homeless bum wandering around in the city, and that parking garage was the last place any camera picked up on Peter—”
“Recognition algorithm for identify facial features complete,” FRIDAY’s voice announced from above. “No results found.”
Across the room, Tony managed to bury his head even deeper into the palm of his hand. His fingers massaged the temples of his forehead with enough force to fracture his skull into a dozen tiny pieces.
“Try again.” Tony didn’t even look up when speaking to his AI. It wasn’t the first time he made the request. But each time he did, he prayed it would be his last.
Clint, once again, let his frustrations show — this time in the sound of a low-throated growl that overtook each keystroke his fingers rapidly made. The screens changed as he multi-tasked, typing and clicking with a nearby mouse, the haste of their situation evident in his every move.
“Maybe he vanished,” Sam suggested, twisting his chair around to face the others across from him. Only a few looked his way. “You think we have another Mysterio on our hands?”
Of the few still standing, it was Thor who turned to look at Sam — a confused furrow to his brow highlighting the unfamiliarity behind his eyes.
“Mist-tier-io,” Thor repeated, slowly — curiously. He looked to Tony, and then to Steve; both close enough to one another that he didn’t need to turn far when sparing each a passing glance. “This creature you speak of sounds very odd.”
Sam couldn’t hold back his scoff. “Oh, you have no idea.”
“There’s other possibilities,” Natasha sounded from the opposite side of where Sam was stationed. She spun her chair around, just slightly, somehow keeping one eye on the screens while she looked to the others scattered about the room. “Peter’s phone was found on the fifth floor of the Main Street parking garage. The last any camera had him, it was the fourth floor. According to the blueprints of the garage, there’s a blind spot in the turn leading up to that level. And there’s no camera’s in the stairways.”
Standing with his arms firmly crossed against his chest, Steve gave Natasha his full attention, a deep frown looking like confusion that was masquerading his concern.
Natasha knew him well enough to see that concern a mile away.
“If Norman purposefully went for dead zones, it would make sense why they both went off the radar,” she spoke what they both didn’t want to hear.
“Clever son of a bitch,” Sam muttered underneath the clacking of his keys. He pressed firmly on the spacebar before turning his chair to face Natasha. “Escape down the stairway, hide his face from any facial recognition, take Peter away from street camera’s — make a getaway, essentially creating a ghost trail. He knew what he was doing.”
Natasha looked to Sam, her brow arched high. “He planned what he was doing.”
Steve took a deep breath in and dipped his chin low, the drop of his shoulders practically taking his gaze down to the floor.
He really didn’t want to hear that.
He tried not to let his stress show, especially with Tony so close — he refused to let the man out of his sight, even if all he was doing had been leaning up against the wall, with his head buried so deep into the palm of his hand that it was a feat he could breathe at all.
It wasn’t that he was worried Tony would go and run off on his own — it was that he wanted to make sure the man knew he didn’t have to. Even if that meant never leaving his side to make that known.
Steve tried to stay composed, but even he couldn’t deny that the weight of what could be ahead of them made the daunting task of leadership chew away at his reserves.
Looking behind him to Tony, he quickly forced himself to pushed those feelings aside.
“Recognition algorithm for identify facial features complete,” FRIDAY’s voice was laced heavy with her Irish accent, and sounded no different than the few minutes that she spoke before. “No results found.”
Tony barely moved at her announcement — didn’t respond, didn’t look up — the muscles in his knuckles flexed as he squeezed at his temples, but it was all he did.
Steve noticed it.
It was less than five steps separating them. Steve was speaking before he even made three.
“We’re not going to let anything happen to him, Tony,” he insisted, reassuringly, with a tone as hard as rocks.
Suddenly, Tony shot his head up; a scoff shaking his back so hard, it pushed him right off the wall.
“There are times when you astound me with your nativity, you know,” he easily responded, smooth enough that it was almost impossible to tell he was fighting for control — of what, exactly, didn’t matter. It was clear he just needed it, any sense of control he could get his hands on.
Everyone kept working around them, determined — dedicated. But so far, they came up with no answers. Just more questions that were starting to push Tony to the brink of his patience.
Steve frowned. He could tell.
“We knew this was ahead of us with Peter,” he said, seriously, firmly, right to Tony’s face. “All of us, we’ve all been preparing for this.” Steve took another step forward, his dress shoes hitting the floor with resolute. “And we’re all prepared to do whatever it takes to make sure Norman doesn’t harm him in any way. You have my word on that.”
For what it was worth, Tony met his look — his eyes stayed as hard as Steve’s, the fear that painted his expression one that Steve wasn’t fond of seeing.
“Right…right —” Tony swiped at his nose, quickly. “Like all the people who’ve been involved in OsCorp’s experimentations?”
Tony, no different then Natasha, also wasn’t afraid to speak what no one wanted to hear.
Even Clint looked uncomfortable at what had finally been vocalized, turning back to his monitor without any remark.
Meanwhile, Tony didn’t break his attention away from Steve.
Steve didn’t look away from him, either.
“The Mysterio’s, the rock android’s, the re-assembled, violently programmed Chitauri bombs.” Tony took a step forward, closer to where Steve stood. “How about those unsuspecting, hung up of some quick cash college students who found themselves electrocuted until they became farm grown vegetables? Or the outright revolting archives of Experiment X that I saw first hand — or, I know, how about the symbiote project—”
“Stop,” Steve firmly interrupted. He shook his head, hard. “You can’t think like that—”
“—for all we know, the kid’s strapped to a table right now being dissected like a frog,” Tony choked out, forcing the words to sound through a throat that was tightening by the second. “Osborn knows what he needs — now he has it. And there’s no telling what he’ll—”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa!”
Quill wasn’t shy in interrupting what was clearly a tense conversation.
He made his way towards Steve and Tony, both whipping their heads over to face him — Tony far more agitated than Steve — but not even that got Quill to slow down his footsteps.
“You guys haven’t mentioned that this fella of yours tortures people,” Quill, for once, sounded serious in tone — even as he made a face that crinkled his brows into one long line across his forehead. He shook his head while quickly marching forward. “Not awesome, man.”
Tony couldn’t have thrown Quill a more wild expression if he had tried, with his eyes wide enough that they were a threat to fall out of their sockets and down to his feet.
“I’m sorry,” he stressed, each word tighter than the last, “was I talking to you!? Does this involve you!?”
Tony’s shout could’ve echoed the R&D room, if the noises from computers and machinery didn’t already sound over their own voices. The video footage kept playing and keys continued to clack on, and each minute they stood around agitated his nerves harsher than the last. He could feel himself starting to crack at the seams.
“Dude!” Quill returned Tony’s look with his own — somewhat insulted, but still sincere. “It’s kinda hard to mind your own business when people are talking about other people being experimented on!” Quill pointed a finger firmly against his chest. “I’m part people, I kinda care about that!”
A inquisitive hum sounded not far behind Quill.
“That is right,” Drax spoke up, staying in the corner where he sat away from the others, sitting on a stool that hunched his body forward. “You are half weakingly. I forgot this about you.”
