hello, I have a lesser part (fragment) that Im trying to help solidify, uses she/her but is open to other pronouns, she has no appearance but wants one if there’s anything you can help with that, she highly resonates with the song ‘writing on the wall’ (song about perfectionism if you cant listen) and has a fear of loss. we are hoping to solidify some more positive traits if you are able to assist. thank you!

Tamara looks mostly human but has fairy wings the color scheme of Neopolitan ice cream and has a body that is similarly-colored - brown skin, pink freckles and eyes, and cream-colored hair that she braids and puts hair clips in. She tends to have a cheerful and confident demeanor and is good at communicating with people. She also loves food and cooking and does so for the system, happy to take care of them any way fae can. However, Tamara's joviality is a mask for her tremendous fear of loss, failure, and imperfection. Xi is perfectionistic to a fault and holds trauma the system has associated with loss. If applicable, xi also holds symptoms associated with avoiding abandonment. Xi trusts members of xir own system more than external people, but when she trusts someone, she trusts them absolutely.

Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well! Let’s think about silly childhood shenanigans to numb the pain! ^_^ (orz)

[the baby looks up at Jack startled as their brows scrunch in confusion, they look at Man than back at Jack. They do this this few more times before falling down on their bum and staring at their feet in a trance.]

[the baby doesn’t respond just keeps staring at their feet.]

Man, concerned: Are you alright there little one?

Jack, waves a rattle in front of them: Hello?

[then Zoffy walked in looking for Jack, cue the baby looking up and their eyes going wide.]

R/n, snickering: Oh boy, I think you three broke their brain.

{Later R/n’s relative came to get their baby and laughs when they hear about what happened, apparently it was the first time Bb/n had ever met triplets, until Zoffy corrected the relative stating they weren't triplets, Needless to say. The relative quickly got out of there.]

What bug do you personally hc tiso as?

Honestly? He's just kinda Tiso. Tiso species. I've drawn him as both an ant, and a beetle, and there's validity to both interpretations. My partner has an ant Tiso, n a good friend of mine has a beetle Tiso. He's both to me, and both were really fun to roleplay with! He's a Bant, if you will. An Antle.

Vessels having a huddling instinct the way that some other insect species do

They don't put off body heat the way other living things do because they are void, but huddling acts as sort of a safety in numbers/comfort/social bonding mechanism. Stressed/injured vessels will huddle together or seek out a huddle with other bugs they are familiar with for safety and comfort. Very relaxed vessels will also seek out a huddle for social bonding and physical contact. They might fall asleep huddled where they feel safest

I headcanon they're actually a very social species (completely opposite of what the Pale King intended because lol irony) primarily due to the void being an interconnected unified web of mingling consciousnesses from which all vessels come from. (Think drops of water breaking away from a large body of water)

This makes vessels with trust issues and traumatic touch-aversion especially tragic since they are hardwired for social intimacy and connection. Not to say they can't be introverted or less inclined for heavy social participation willingly as individuals ofc, but to have no choice in the matter or to be fearful and mistrusting due to trauma and painful experiences is a definite huge ouch

Hollow growing up in the palace being treated like an inanimate object and deprived of any and all ability for self expression and starved of social connection would mess them up even more if vessels as a species thrive on being socially connected with other bugs and Hollow is touch starved but too conditioned/hurt to seek out what they desperately want but are afraid to ask for T_T

species don’t exist — i mean, obviously, they do. but they aren’t objective. species are (as most things are) a cultural construction, a coalition of humans deciding where and when to draw what lines. constantly in debate: did you know paleoanthropologists are unintentionally incentivized to claim to have discovered entire new genera along the path of human evolution because they are more likely to generate media buzz and gain desperately needed funding. thousands of plants may be categorized together but a centimeter’s difference in skull thickness warrants an entire new genus name. we are more genetically similar to chimpanzees than they are to their fellow non-human primates, but due to the rules of Linnaean taxonomy humanity will never be collapsed into the same genus as them because the rules dictate that the older genus name prevails: humanity would never accept becoming Pan sapiens, especially not after it took decades for it even to be accepted that humans were a part of the taxonomy in the first place. even the most basic of criteria we’ve used in the past to decide where a species stops and starts continues to be debunked - fish from entire opposites of the world can produce fertile offspring. analogous evolution can find lines that split millions of years back creating critters that would be side by side in a disney cartoon. categorization is a eternal battleground of western scientific standards requiring universalized objective qualifiers vs. the futile efforts to recognize the unmeasurable amounts of nuance held in traditional ecological knowledge — versus the fact that, inevitably, it all boils down to a vast continuum contained within only a few percentage points of variation in the squiggly lines that tell the cells of everything on the entire globe how to eat

Nimmy is a whimsical being who never gives a straight answer when asked about funs species and floats around headspace on a cloud. The cloud can dispense little star-shaped sprinkles that, when consumed, improve the mood of whoever does so, and Nimmy can help her headmates this way. While Nimmy has a whimsical and cheerful demeanor, he dresses very gothic, and he does enjoy morbid and dark topics, holding them as an interest for the system. While he likes being helpful, he has an unpredictable streak and doesn't always listen to authority in the system, but is always willing to take responsibility for her actions.
