i do think alfred is manipulative and not a great person and emotionally inauthentic to the point where he deludes himself AND rusame is textbook toxic yaoi especially during the cold war HOWEVER the thing that really appeals to me about this ship is i think that they know each other better than anyone else… good and bad. they’ve seen the worst the other has to offer and neither of them have flinched. which i think appeals to ivan specifically. but i also think alfred is an extremely lonely person because he’s inadvertently isolated himself from everyone just by being who he is. so to find this eventual companionship and deep-seated mutual understanding with ivan makes him feel a sort of love and tenderness towards ivan that both horrifies him and excites him

A while back you made a post talking about yakumo and his sensitivity to temperature and I haven't stopped thinking about it. imagine when winter comes around and yakumo becomes progressively sluggish, usually staying in the kitchen and not leaving for hours, always making something near the stove to feel a little warmth from the flames or from a little taste of the things he's making (soup probably), or him picking up the habit of bundling himself up and staying in the library to read and nap. maybe when it starts getting even colder he barely leaves his room because its too uncomfortably cold for him, and if he does he's probably looking for eiden to help him warm up, but if eidens not around he gets antsy and looks for somebody else in the mansion, but he's too shy to ask and looks at whoever with his wet eyes so they know he's cold and wants a cuddle

*inhales deeply* ah yes. you understand. you envision it all so clearly. rightly so. gEt in the wAy, everybody, snake burrito walking the halls very very slowly!!!!!!! (i was about to say get OUT of the way but that would probably make yakumo colder so why not do him a favour and collide with him on your way to another room)

He's come such a long way since he came home in May, dehydrated, underweight, and with a stuck shed, weighing a worrisome 92 grams. Three months later he's shaped like a snake, eating like a champ, has had two fully in-tact sheds, has been switched from live (horribly undersized) mice to f/t rats, and weighs a far more comfy 149 grams.

He's still not too sure about the large ape butler who invades his house to steal his poop, but now that he's healthier we're going to spend more time having handling sessions, little Soup and I.

This was the tallest sunflower this year (I think it sort of looks like a solar eclipse in the pic) and the seeds will make a good dye.

Made some yummy food too! Stew with friends and birthday apple pie in a ceramic dish my grandmother made. (She's the one who taught me to be a potter. Isn't it a beautiful dish?)

We also caught the culprit in the case of the missing eggs: Quiche the rat snake! It was relocated about a half mile, hopefully far enough it doesn't come back...

the abyss but it shows itself to the hunters by taking the form of someone important to them

jordan thinks this is normal. whats one more different flavor of ianite? he is home. his lady is here. all is well

kara though? she is seething. the abyss taking the form of her snakes (which function as familiars. to me) its not even trying to fool her, just taunting. her hat usually acting as a lil pocket space where her familiars chill. the abyss cutting off her access to that, claiming it for itself. popping in and out and swapping between looking like her different snakes

also theres no world where the abyss doesn't go jordan mode on the rescue squad. effective multitarget attack
