Honestly, please don’t use Instagram if you’re an artist that cares about the copyright of your work.

If you care, you’ll probably want to leave. I know that’s difficult for those who have a large audience, but Instagram plans on also using your posts, stories, etc. to fuel their Ai. Please read Meta’s TOS (Terms of Service) before continuing, or discontinuing, to use their service.

Meta doesn’t care about you. If you care, you CAN make Meta listen to you by listing off your copyright and how much you care when you get this notification in the United States and other countries, but, apparently, not many have received this notification (I haven’t either).

There is barely any art space that hasn’t been threatened with Ai. Instagram is being taken over by it and I’ve been noticing more Ai art being recommended on my fyp and “explore” page. Please keep this in mind: I don’t follow “Ai art” accounts. This has been a pretty recent thing, but it’s bothering me a little.
