Death is certain and there’s nothing we can do to defy it. But, we should never live in fear for it and thus restrain ourselves from discovering the world of grownups. Growing old permits us to do things we couldn’t when we were still young. In fact, growing old means discovering a new source of happiness and discovering your true self. It’s like exploring a foreign terrain but in the same world. Along the way, you’ll see sights pleasant and unpleasant. Nevertheless, both make you appreciate the good things in life and therefore keep your heart young. For example, you move to a new place and all your childhood friends become a memory. On the contrary, you meet new faces and forge another unique bond of friendship. You know in your heart that your friends in the past will always remain as your friends, although connected through the invisible thread of lasting friendship. Memories preserved in the heart and other joys keep a heart young Having the heart of a young makes us perceive the world with endless wonders. The days of the dark may come as we grow old, but a person, young at heart, will never grow weary to looking forward to the coming of a brighter day. Radiohead lo hizo de nuevo: como hace nueve años, cuando el 24 de marzo de 2009 se presentó por primera vez en la Argentina, la banda inglesa volvió a conmover a miles de personas en su segundo recital en Buenos Aires, el 14 de abril de 2018.

Estuve en ambos conciertos, el primero en el Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires y el segundo en el predio ferial Tecnópolis, donde presencié maravillado la vigencia de la obra de un grupo que evoluciona y crece en cada disco hacia nuevos horizontes.

En un concierto que se prolongó dos horas y 45 minutos, y que culminó el festival Soundhearts, Thom Yorke y sus cuatro compañeros de la banda más el invitado Clive Dimer, compartieron gran parte del cofre de su tesoro musical de dos décadas y media de carrera.

Así, destartalaron, para mi alegría, parte de la lista de temas que yo había compartido en esta nota, incluyendo su clásico Creep, y una gema como Present Tense, además del diamante vibrante de The National Anthem.

Te comparto a continuación la lista de temas, en algunos casos ilustrado con fragmentos de las canciones videos propios que grabé con un teléfono móvil Motorola Moto Z Play con Moto Mods de Hasselblad y con un teléfono móvil Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

The Gloaming: esta canción fue interrumpida por decisión de Yorke, porque se habían derribado valas de contención del púbiico frente al escenario.

Con un dominio acertado y ajustado de la situación, Yorke y la banda esperaron casi 20 minutos para que se solucionara el problema y reanudar el recital.

Mientras esperaba la solución del problema, Yorke cantó el tema interrumpido a capella:

También había muchas canciones como suplentes para Present Tense incluyendo Blow Out, You and Whose Army?, Reckoner, No Surprises y Some Cucumber Sandwiches Pls. En lugar Creep estaban previstas Karma Police y Street Spirit (Fade Out).
