It's been a while since I've checked in and focused on these two. They're off saving the day, one monster at a time. It's a short little sound-design dub (just sfx and music) for a quickly sketched comic I did.
Hope you enjoy seeing Dreamwalker and Scotty Hygak!
Obligatory likes/comments/subcriptions appreciated!

I sent you an ask a while ago/tagged you in a post but you never responded, did I upset you somehow?
NO I’M JUST AWFUL AT RESPONDING TO ASKS AND TEND TO MISS A LOT OF NOTIFICATIONS I’M SORRYYYYYY YOUREE FINEEEEEE. ITS YOU AND LIKE 150 OTHER PEOPLE I PROMMY IM JUST TERRIBLE. don’t be afraid to rb it and tag me in the rb again, sorry for that!
I sent you a dm but didn’t get a responce
Sorry yeah once again youre far from alone!! I mainly keep my dm’s open incase of inquiries/concerns, but like otherwise when it comes to just casual chatting in the dm’s I prefer to limit that to my 18+ mutuals, sorry nothing against you! You’d have better luck with my inbox!
I liked this drawing concept you made. Can I make fanart, redraw it in my style, or make something inspired by it?
YEAH!!!! Flattered and happy I inspired you in that way!! Just 1) tag and credit me, because I would be so sad if I didn’t see and would love love love to rb it and 2) if it’s a redraw, try to link back to original post if possible (but I forget to mention that a lot so that second part isn’t as big of a deal)

UTDR/UTY COMICS MASTERPOST
(uty comics are highlighted in orange if you’re more interested in the strictly undertale comics)
Clover’s Memories (ongoing - i prommy)
(1/22 update - no i haven’t worked really worked on it in a minute. Reasons are kinda loaded at this point why its so hard to work on but just know its not cancelled ok, the last entry is the part that excites me the most and if i have to skip straight to the end at some point then i’ll just do that)
Silence | Memory 1 | Memory 2 | Memory 2.5 Coming Soon | Sound | Memory 3 | Discrepancy | Memory 4 | Static
Clover’s Hat (post revive au)
Part 1 /// Part 2 /// Bonus
Kanako Integrity Duo (really short mini doodle comics)
Reconciliation // Introductions // Ceroba // Chujin
Miscellaneous:
Kris Clover Interaction // Kind Soul // Frisk vs. Clover’s POV // Bedtime // Who’s Your Friend? // Pipe Down // Family Visit // Unwell // Letter // Humor // Gamer // They // Kicked Out // It Keeps Happening // What’s In A Name // Clover’s Nightmare (i’ll probably make a cleaner version later) // Banter // Time

TAGS:
#Happily Ever After and Then Some (HEAaTS?) -> everyone lives au (based on the events of undertale and uty) including chara, flowey/asriel gets his body back, fallen kids, where i offer very limited explanation for why or how because it simply makes me really self-conscious to try to come up with reasoning and really i just want to imagine these characters in fun and interesting scenarios. Theyre all alive, just go with it and have fun! Note this is not a comic series or anything, i just like doodling random scenarios sometimes. So a few comics, some doodles, whatever is fun rn for me
#Phantom integrity au -> someone sent an ask once about what if clover’s narrator was integrity. It’s a fun idea to explore and where I got the concept of Lilac’s design for! It’s not something I think about very often but I like drawing ghosty lilac. Its not “canon” to lilac’s lore, but its fun. Ps if you wanna make your own content based off this concept, please go for it!! You don’t even have to use lilac, i call it the phantom integrity au and not narra lilac just in case someone wants to yoink the concept for their own integrity. I think that’d be awesome :)
#Deltarune Orange -> went crazy one too many 5am mornings in a row and started cooking this. Basically just my deltarune yellow take but i wanted a unique name and it has stuff to do, with orange
#Undertale Heart to Heart -> posts talking about my designs and thoughts regarding the other fallen kids. Its mostly lilac sorry. individual kids got their own tags like #aimee hth but I'm not linking them lol sorry
#Pedias art -> yuh

I've been in a Digimon mood and, like, man, we gotta give it to the dub voice actors for giving a wide spectrum of villain voices and personalities to the original Digimon Adventure. Like, above here, we have the quartet that serves as the final(ish) villains of the series: a cyborg sea serpent that sounds like a surfer dude, a goofy little puppet boy, a theatrical yet menacing clown in the vein of Pennywise, and... Machinedramon.
youtube
Straight forward and batshit terrifying Machinedramon.
Like, there's a lot of weird shit in Digimon Adventure, and there was a delicate balance to strike to make it all feel tonally consistent, especially given how high the stakes get (and how dark the series was willing to go at times). You can't do it completely straight-faced when there's talking poop monsters and other goofy goobers running around, but you have to be serious enough for things like the death of Wizardmon to have the weight they deserve, and the dub team for the American cut of the show actually put in the work to pull that off.
youtube
I posted this video like a week ago or whatever but, like, Etemon really was the big test of the dub team here. Making a character design like Devimon into a big threatening villain is hard, but when the series decides its second big bad should be a rockstar monkey, that's... that's a much harder sell, man. And they definitely embraced the humor with the Elvis persona they gave American Etemon, but also managed to make him... genuinely threatening despite it? Like, Etemon's funny, but you also know he's a legitimate threat to the kids that they can't afford to underestimate.
Which is what allows the Dark Masters up top to work so well. Between them and Etemon we get Myotismon, who like Devimon is not hard to take seriously - an evil vampire overlord isn't a hard sell for a villain. And the Dark Masters aren't either, for that matter - even Piedmon and Puppetmon, the goofiest looking of the quartet, are pretty stock horror archetypes: an evil clown and an evil living puppet. But, as if missing the fun that Etemon brought to the table, the dub team decides to give them all a bit of a comic edge - Metalseadramon has the surfer dude voice, Puppetmon sounds like a goofy wee puppet man, and Piedmon's theatrics are played for comedy in a Joker-y way.
Not Machinedramon, though. Every comedy troupe needs a designated straight man, I suppose.
And, like Etemon, they succeed at being genuinely threatening despite the goofiness. When Metalseadramon and Puppetmon are hunting the kids, the goofy bits of their characterization seamlessly blend into the fact that they're still clearly deranged murderers deadset on killing children and anyone who gets in their way. Piedmon successfully acts as the big chessmaster of the quartet, and Machinedramon...
Machinedramon is just terrifying.

Here we are… We made it guys- THE FINALE. :)
This has been so insanely fun to do, and I thank all of you for being so incredibly kind and encouraging through it all. :)
Dubbing this whole series has really grown me as a voice actor. It has pushed me with my vocals, my editing, and my sound design. :) Sometimes it was quite hard to keep continuity- especially with the voices of the characters. Especially in the beginning- you miiiight catch me slipping into my Jersey accent when I spoke as Raph- (habit). 😅But through it all, the easy and the difficult moments, it challenged me to better my skills. And I sincerely thank Indie for that. :)
All credit for the comic goes to @indieyuugure while I lent my voice and edited. Epidemic Sound covered the music and sound effects. :)
To God be the glory! 💙

Hi. I wanted to ask if I could make a dub of your comic on my youtube channel.Don't worry, you would be credited and I leave a link to your channel. Here some info thought if you agree:
-First and foremost,I'm not professional. Most of stuff I post on my channel are experimental to test my voice acting skills.
-I'm female and I have thin voice, which is often a problem when I do VA for guys.I use voice generated AI to help me with this.
-I'm not Native english speaker and my accent is mostly reveal this
-I don't expect payment.Like stated before,I do this mostly for fun and practice so it's for free
I understant when you don't agree.I just really like your comic and I would like to introduce it to other people.
Go for it sounds awesome I love to see it. Don't worry about payment You're also 100% allowed to monetize your video and keep all the profits.
just ask you don't use AI voice/ text to speech. I think this technology has its place but I'd rather have real people perform, especially for characters with more messy speaking styles like spikes with frequent ums and uhs and often inarticulate sentences or characters who have a tendency to get very emotional like cliffjumper, I rather a inexperienced voice actor try and fail to potray those emotions than a ai voice with a flat tone,
I rather you attempt the male characters voices yourself, or find someone to collaborate with. There are a lot of amateur voice actors who are always looking for something to work on. the ability to collaborate with other vas is a great non-acting skill to have in voice acting. idk if you would like to collab with other people, but I'll put this out here anyway if you're a dude with a dude-sounding voice and wanna possibly collaborate on an unofficial dub comment below
also, within lore, the cybertronian characters are all genderless, so even if a bot is masculine presenting in design and behavior to humans, doesn't mean they need to sound like a guy. I mean, I have thought of possibly putting together an official dub in the future and planned to let anyone of any gender, accent, or tone try out for any of the cybertronian characters and I would pick roles purely based on the performance, and how well they capture the character energy ¯_(ツ)_/¯
#collabing with others is one the best skill to have in any creative space I would not be able to make the comic without my co writter#ask answering

Ranma 1/2 Reboot 01x09 - I'll Never Let Go
Here we go with more of the ice skating arc. Fuck these people up, Ranma and Akane.
Modern dubbing has gotten really good. I have my beefs with some modern dubs, like the way Spy x Family translates Anya's comical gaaaaaaan shock noises into just... generic gasps with no funny sound whatsoever. But they're a lot better than they were in my day.
Sometimes I'll flip over to the dub when watching something just because I'm curious how the dub team for this specific piece handled something.
For this bit, the joke is that Ranma called him 慢性発情男 Mansei Hatsujou Otoko, which sounds kinda-sorta similar to Sanzenin Mikado and means "Chronically Horny Man". Or "chronic horndog" as the subs translated, which is accurate but doesn't sound anything like his name.
The dub opted for "McHorny Sex Pest" as a kinda-sorta for Mikado Sanzenin, and that's perfect. Chef's kiss.
This man is so gross. He already forced himself on Ranma and now he's going to use their competition today as an opportunity to force himself on Akane.
I kind of want him to die. I am so glad he does not get to stick around and join the cast full-time.
That is easily the best photo of Ryoga that he has ever had taken of him in his life.
A kolkhoz is a type of Soviet farming co-op. I'm not sure why this was chosen for the name of Azusa and Mikado's school.
Do not attempt complex figure skating maneuvers without proper training. I need y'all to understand how many places Akane's skates could have ended up just now after Ranma slipped. This maneuver was way too complex for him.
Okay but felt though. When I was her age, I was exactly this sore of a winner. I hate that this character speaks to me as much as she does.
(Sharp blades hovering over very dangerous places right now.)
Seriously though. Fuck her personally but she is so goddamn cool.
How can you not wish you were this cool? But, y'know, with better taste in partners. And... also better lifestyle choices. This is why people adore villains. Because villains have style.
RANMA
RANMA THERE ARE KNIVES ON YOUR FEET
YOU CAN END THIS RIGHT NOW
RANMA
RANMA
Mikado does this so often in competitions that it's considered a signature move for him. I hate that. I hate him. Ranma, stab him with your footsy knives.
See, what Mikado doesn't know about Akane is that she is basically Furinkan's #1 expert on guarding yourself from pests like him. For her, this is Tuesday.
(Should have put a little more force on it. Ice skates have blades but they aren't ultra-sharp. It takes pressure to cut. Don't worry, Akane, we all make mistakes.)
I love how even Azusa gets in on the karmic steamroll that Mikado's earned for himself.
These two are way too invested in breaking up couples.
Narratively, the purpose this serves is a pretty on-the-nose test of Ranma and Akane's budding relationship. Writers do this with canonships all the time. "Once you swallow this pill you will die a gruesome death unless your feelings for your designated love interest are TRUE!"
This certainly explains Mikado having a signature kissing move.
But it's crazy that these two, whose relationship with each other seems entirely platonic, have made it a point of pride to destroy other people's relationships.
Azusa has shown zero interest in Ranma up to this point. Her thing is losing her cool about cute things. She and Ranma have barely said two words to one another.
But then she's like, "Oh, we're doing a Matchbreak? I'm on it!"
Like. It's not enough for Mikado to be a sex pest and for Azusa to be a cutesy kleptomaniac. They have a vendetta against romance. These two are My Little Pony villains. Who hurt you both?
An interesting detail of the Goodbye Whirl is that Azusa's connection to Ranma is the bond that breaks.
It would have been easy to set up Mikado and Azusa as a high-skill but low-chemistry partnership for Ranma and Akane to overcome through superior trust in one another. But Mikado and Azusa click very well. They both reflect one another's flaws and they have a fantastic level of teamwork, experience, and cooperation.
They didn't become masters of a cooperative sport by being islands.
So it isn't Ranma and Akane's connection that breaks, despite that being the intent of the Goodbye Whirl.
And it also isn't Mikado and Azusa's connection that breaks, because their bond is just as strong if not stronger than Ranma and Akane's.
It's the connection between the two pairs. Ranma and Akane are an iron-forged bond, and Mikado and Azusa are an iron-forged bond, but never the two shall meet.
Ranma and Akane don't outlast Mikado and Azusa. But they do implicitly outlast every couple that the pair have matchbroken in the past. The impulsive and self-indulgent Azusa getting tired, ceasing to care about this, and letting go is the weak point of this technique. But it's a weak point nobody's ever held on long enough to discover before.
There are a lot of words in Japanese that can be translated to the English catch-all "monster". The one here is け化け物 bakemono, which is a shapeshifting occult spirit that impersonates people or objects. It literally translates to "Thing that Changes Shapes".
So, literally, this line translates. Azusa is saying that no human would have survived that, and only a bakemono impersonating human form could still be alive now. "Only a monster would survive that."
But. In context, knowing Japanese, I need y'all to understand how funny this is. Azusa claims that only a bakemono could have survived that, and then Ranma wakes up.
Ranma is a person, not a bakemono. But. I mean... He and P-chan kinda are. They are Shapeshifting Things, which impersonate other kinds of being.
That's not why he survived. He survived because he's been doing Anime Warrior Training for his whole life. But she's not wrong.
And then Akane got unceremoniously ejected from the Couples Duel. Now that her role as Primary Love Interest has been firmly reinforced, she is of no further value to this fight scene. It's time for the boys to take over. Great.
Oh well. At least she got to do that cool flip-kick.
This is not a fakeout, either. Much like when Ranma stole her match with Kodachi from her, Akane will no longer be directly participating in this fight from this point forward.
That cool flip-kick was Akane's one and only contribution to this entire confrontation. Other than that, she's been tossed around by Ranma a couple times, survived the Goodbye Whirl because Ranma wouldn't let go even though she wanted to, and now she's fired so we can have more Ranma and Ryoga shenanigans.
It was the one flip-kick and that's it. That's all she gets. She defended herself from the predator like she said she could last episode, and now she's done. She has no further value that she can add to this fight.
Like, they even made a big fuss over how injured Ranma is. Ranma is so badly hurt that it... inexplicably warrants benching Akane? She has to leave because of his injuries.
Ranma wants to keep Akane from dueling with Ryoga and Akane wants Ranma benched because he's injured, so the compromise they come up with is that the injured Ranma will duel with Ryoga.
Like. I get that Ranma and Akane can't go out there together like this because heteronormativity, gotta have a M/F partnership, all that jazz. But if Ranma's injuries aren't going to be a problem then they can just excuse themselves for a moment, hot water Ranma in the back room, and get back to Ranma and Akane dueling.
I mean. Hell, they could probably get away with doing it right out here. Azusa's already pegged Ryoga as Charlotte and requires no explanation for how that's possible.
She doesn't even know about Jusenkyo curses and she accepts this without question.
There is absolutely no reason why Akane would need to retire from the rink right now and I'm kinda mad about it, especially right after the Kodachi thing.
This is why people think she's boring. This is what makes her the most divisive character in the series, with a fandom either loving or hating her with no middle ground. Akane is an interesting and relatable character, but she isn't allowed to do things. Even when it makes absolutely no sense to suddenly banish her from her own storyline like this.
I honestly think Takahashi just couldn't think of a good way for Ranma and Akane to win this fight. The match has thoroughly been established to be too heavily skewed against them for them to prevail. Last episode/chapters established that they'd take this in a street fight, no contest. But this episode/chapters establishes that their skills just aren't enough to overcome the disadvantage of the ice rink.
So... bye, Akane, I guess. Enter Ryoga and the Ryoga-esque complications that will form the answer to this unwinnable fight. Now we get the absolute shenanigans of this episode's back half, as well as the arc's final chapters that will form the next episode. For which Akane will be nearby cheering for her boys.

Some highlights from the MP100 Brazilian dub (because I adore it) pt.1
Earlier in this year, I commented on the voice actor choices for some characters, and someone suggested me to talk more about this dub. Of course, I'm very glad to elaborate on my love for my country's dubbing, specially for one of the most enjoyable examples I've seen.
My congratulations for the director Úrsula Bezerra and the Unidub studio for their efforts here!! I could not expect less from such experient professionals! I also want to give my appreciation to the translation team for their lovely spin on the dialogue that made the anime even funnier.
And about the voice actor choices...
Main Characters
Ítalo Luiz as Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama - This man has an impressive voice range and made a spetacular job with Mob. I love how he captured his young, timid essence but also expressed Mob's stronger emotions in a fantastic way. It made him endearing from the start.
Vágner Fagundes as Arataka Reigen - VÁGNER FAGUNDES. I didn't know much about him before, but his interpretation of Reigen sold him as a excellent voice actor to me. There is something different about his work. No other Reigen voice has that much charisma or impact to me. I can watch the same heartwrenching scenes in the original audio or any of the English dubs without an issue, but listening to Vágner Fagundes's version will make me break in tears instantly. 11/10.
César Marchetti as Dimple + the narrator - I've always enjoyed his voices in older, charismatic character of dubious morality, so he fit like a glove with Dimple's evil spirit ways. César made Dimple's personality SHINE through his hilarious entonations and word choices, and all this served to emphasize the comic effect the green fart had in his best scenes. I also liked César more serious voice when speaking as the narrator, which further proves his range.
Robson Kumode as Ritsu Kageyama - Famous for dubbing Sasuke Uchiha during the 2000s, Robson Kumode has a way for voicing emotionally complex teenagers and so created an amazing portrayal of Ritsu. He managed to transmit both Ritsu's harsher and darker feelings and the fact that in the end, he was still a child. By character design alone, this voice actor would be an obvious choice.
Felipe Zilse as Teruki Hanazawa - In contrast to Ritsu's case, Felipe Zilse was not a clear voice choice for Teruki, considering how deep it can sound at times. I have to admit I found it a bit difficult to get used to at the start (why does this 14 year old sound so adult!). However, Felipe managed to be a great Teruki through the prideful calmness on his voice and his effort on making the character's emotional scenes filled to the brim with a unique quality.
Armando Tiraboschi as Katsuya Serizawa - Oh, how do I even start? I like Armando Tiraboschi's voice very much, even more his talent for dubbing rugged gentlemen in action-ridden contexts. His version of Serizawa may sound older and a little less awkward than the original, but his spin on the character is wonderful with its focus on Serizawa's gentle giant traits. I guess it contributed to my tiny crush on the 30yo ex-terrorist.
Fernanda Bullara as Tome Kurata - EXCELLENT. IMPECCABLE. Fernanda Bullara was the best possible choice for Tome, as she has lots of experience with energetic and exccentric characters such as her. Her voice was outstanding for Tome's outbursts and more exaggerated scenes, while maintaining some vulnerability when necessary. Not too girly, not stereotipical teen-like. She is just a young lady who is passionate about her interests.

Stray Gods
Lost In A Song
Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome! To cabaret? No, no, in an interactive musical fiction. Yes, you heard that right. Stray Gods is a surprising mix of visual novel and musical, where your choices influence not only the story but also the songwriting. So it's a pretty original concept, but is it note-worthy? Bleibe, reste, stay, and see for yourself.
❤ The mix between the modern world and mythology works really well, and the idea - which I won't reveal here - of bringing these two worlds together is a pretty good one. As a result, we find familiar Greek divine figures mingling with our society in a rather amusing way, and we revise our classics as we meet them. But the real strength, in my opinion, lies in the use of these legends to address harsh yet topical issues such as suicide, grief, relationship abuse etc...offering some emotionally powerful musical moments. ❤ While the music is in the spotlight, it's also a treat for the eyes, with some truly superb comic-book-style illustrations! Some may be put off by the stop-motion effect, but the animation is no less dynamic with its camera work and changing backgrounds and colors to match the tunes of our decisions. So, for the same scene, the atmosphere will not be the same visually and will follow the mood of the song according to the choices made by the player.
❤ The characters are endearing and I really enjoyed the diversity in terms of chara-design. They each have a strong visual identity, which reinforces their personality even more, making them quite memorable characters. The interactions between them are very well handled, with well-written dialogue that juggles humor and drama. On the romance side, I think that each suitor brings an interesting dynamic, whatever the personality given to Grace, our main character. Each player will obviously have their own preferences, but it's rare that I find that all the romances harmonise so well with the MC. ❤ I have to mention the French translation, which doesn't just translate the songs word for word but has tried to adapt the lyrics with more melodious turns of phrase and even rhymes! Well done for the effort :)
+/- You'll have noticed that I haven't yet mentioned the heart of the game, namely the music. The work on the music is clearly impressive; the main musical themes, built like leitmotifs, are quite memorable and echo each other throughout the game. But above all, each song has its own variation, and it's up to the player to direct their own score, taking on the role of conductor. It could have been extremely clumsy, yet Austin Wintory (who has already signed one of my favourite soundtracks with Journey) has managed to make clever musical transitions that never create a rupture…..well, not all the time. Some of the variations fit together more or less well, sometimes making the melody a bit wobbly, and you really get a feel for which parts were written as the main theme and which are ‘optional’. That must be why the song Adrift sticks in my mind the most, because it was conceived as a song in its own right with no real changes. +/- Where there's a song, there's a performer. While the voice cast is excellent, with some of the big names in dubbing, making their characters their own, I found that in terms of singing performances, some were a little subpar and didn't always sound quite right.
✖ While the universe is charming, the script clearly lacks subtlety, being far too predictable, and the scenes are chained together at a very fast tempo without giving the time to really enjoy the investigation. ✖ The game is also short and offers very few changes to the storyline when it comes to the choices made. As a result, it can quickly become repetitive if you try to complete it. ✖ Another downside was that there were a number of glitches during my various games: music cutting out when I made a choice, dialogs overlapping when I wanted to fast forward, delays between sound and image and minor translation oversights.
Stray Gods was a satisfying experience for the Broadway lover in me. Sure, the plot could be better paced and orchestrated, and the music can sound a little unstable at times, but you can't take away from the the game's originality and inspired ideas. Besides, if I've already got one song stuck in my head, then I guess the game has served its purpose. On that note, so long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu🎶

just me or is Husk super miscast in Hazbin? I couldn't figure out what was bothering me so much about the voice so I did the obvious thing and went back and watched the pilot
pilot Husk has this gruff voice that sells the idea he's hard drinking and older than most of the cast (paranoid DJ has one dub of a comic where Angel wakes him up after a bender and Husk actually sounds like he's been hitting the bottle all night - he's super hoarse and rough and that energy's pretty absent from most of hazbin from what I can see)
I'm sure his Hazbin VA is great in other things but his voice sounds way too high, it just loses that whole jaded edge he used to have. hazbin husk just feels drained of edge and charisma - he used to be flawed like the others and now they just kind of mention he lost his Overlord status offhand and have him be the wise You Know What Your Problem Is? exposition character
side note, rewatching the pilot also made me long for the pilot designs, especially the ones with better/simpler color palettes like Angel Dust or especially Vaggie, who actually stood out due to not being red or pink
Literally the only thing Husk has going for him is the fact that people (rightfully) love Keith David. It doesn't fit him, it doesn't make sense with his character, everything about Husk is a mess, but it counts where it matters to Viv...big names, lots of money going into it.

Sun Wukong Inspired Character
This character comes from the sonic universe comics. In the accurately named “Journey to the East”
Name: Monkey Khan
"He is a Mobian Chinese Monkey."
He lived in a village of pacifists his original name was Ken Khan. he wears a power ring headband meant to look like the fighting band of JTTW. He wields a powerful staff and rides on a cloud which sounds just like another monkey we know.
He once had a boisterous nature and did not fit in with his pacifist village. He had a father Lord Lau Khan. He survived roboticization because of this he was sealed in a metal crate. He was then released by Sally Acorn.
Similar to Monkey King being sealed under the Five Faces mountain. When he became robotized he gained red glowing eyes like when Wukong came out of the furnace.
Abilities: Enhanced Strength, Enhanced durability, enhanced speed, lighting bolt direction, nimbus summoning, martial arts, staff fighting.
He has some burst of villance and anger. He has trouble controlling himself. With little care id he scored or hurt others.
He, Sonic, Tails, and Sally go on the journey to gather enough forces to go against the Iron Queen and King which are similar to Iron Fan and Bull King.
Iron Queen:
She is meant to represent Iron Fan as the antagonist. But she is different of course from the original as in there is no love between her and Bull King and she has an affair with Snivley.
But there are simularlities.
"The Iron Queen set Mount Stormtop on fire for over a hundred days and would not lift the spell until the villagers agreed to bow down to them. Sonic and Tails were told by Li Yuen that only the magical Fan of Fen Xing could blow out the flames on the mountain."
This is similar to the Firey Mountains story of JTTW except she made the fire.
Iron King:
A mobian ox who has an affinity for collecting weapons. He was completely, unaware of his wife's plans to cut him out of the picture and rule alongside her new love, Snively. Which I feel like this might be a reverse of JTTW's event of Bull King and Jade Face.
Extra Notes:
His name Ken Khan is meant to reference King Kong.
Sally During the Journey acted like Triptiak keeping Khan calm and being his conscious. But that is where the similarities end because the two became an item.
This is an old character design of him where there is more Wukong reference.
My favorite Comic Dub of this monkey.

HEY SO. have you heard about that one new cgi show for superthings that recently came out?? if so, what're your thoughts on it if you saw it? Personally i saw clips and the animation is not that bad! The designs look great! Though i prefer the 2d style more.. But yeah!!
Yeah!!!!! Me and my friends on discord have been waiting for it since the first concepts leaked, and talking with the lead artist about how it was made and such. Some of my friends are able to watch it on clan (vpns work!) or on the totally legally obtained youtube/tik tok uploads, and it looks fantastic!! The story sounds like a lot of fun too.
There's already comics for it too, which I personally am the MOST excited for. I'm a sucker for 2d art and I literally like. Screamed when I first saw it. Plus an English dub has been 100% confirmed and will likely come out next year! All very exciting :)
