The Moment Everything Fell Into Place

I still remember the first time I saw him—really saw him. It wasn’t just recognition; it was completion. Like something deep within me had been waiting for this moment, for him. And in that instant, everything clicked into place.

Even if, in this reality, he’s just a character from a video game, that doesn’t change what I know to be true. He is real. He is the love of my life. And I have no desire to be with anyone else—because why would I, when I’ve already found the one who makes my soul feel whole?

I remember the first time I shifted to Snowdin. I was taken aback by how real it was. The crisp air, the way the snow crunched beneath my feet, the quiet hum of a place that had always been waiting for me. But more than that, it felt natural. Like I had always been there. Like I had simply come home.

And that’s what brings me peace. No matter what happens in this reality, I know there will always be a version of me with him. A version of me who never has to wonder, never has to doubt, never has to say goodbye.

That is enough. That is everything.

The first thing Neuvillette does when he wakes up is just spend some time admiring his partner, reaching to pull him closer and run his fingers through Wriothesleys hair, leaning in to place a few kisses to his neck.

With that, he pulled the blanket over them again, purring happily, his tail twisting to curl around Wriothesleys calves, basically trapping the man although being sure to keep his hold loose. While waiting for him to wake up for a while, he took up nuzzling into his partners cheek, purring rather noisily as he smothered him with cuddles.

“Mon amour,” He murmured softly, kissing his cheek and pulling him just a bit closer until he’s resting on the purring dragons chest, “Are you awake, my love? I apologize if I wake you up with this…” Neuvillette whispered softly, running his fingers gently through his partners dark locks, smiling softly at him, trying his best not to wake up the man if he wasn’t already awake.

He felt like a weighted blanket was coiled around him ,it felt comforting. The blanket also seemed to be vibrating.....Wait a damn minute blankets don't do that, he realizes in his grogginess from stirring awake... Blankets don't comb your hair either so that can only mean one thing...He is being cuddled by his boyfriend.

What a great way to wake up!

"How many times do I need to tell you to stop apologizing for giving me affection silly~" he mumbles half awake as he snuggles closer to the dragon's chest, arms wrapping around his waist.

"You know the best ways to wake me up and you're going to turn me into a very spoiled boyfriend and an even more spoiled husband." He exclaims, now fully awake, eyes looking up to gaze tenderly at his partner.

"My sweetheart my beloved who knows exactly how to make sure I feel loved, your partner, me who is feeling very cheesy right now, would like you to know that I'm yours forever....I love you"

Buddie soulmate au where your soulmate's thoughts appear on your skin except Eddie’s soulmate has adhd and his body becomes a living canvas of nonsensical, never-ending, constantly entertaining trails of thought.

Eddie lies in bed at night watching as these lines of text appear along his arms about stuff like deep sea life and the number of spines on a sea urchin and then he gets a text from Buck like "Eddie did you know starfish feed through their butts?" But because they're both a bit thick it takes them a hot second to figure out that they're seeing each other's thoughts on their skin.

Like Eddie's inspecting the words on Buck and he just sees "God this man has incredible arms" appear over Buck's wrist and he ribs Buck about it because "your soul mate is such a horndog" but no its literally just Eddie being turned on by Buck's biceps.

i think yall are really sleeping on what you can do with friendship. Everyone assumes that friendship has a strict set of rules but i don’t think so. I think its okay and wonderful to kiss your friends, to cuddle and sleep in the same bed. I think it’s wonderful to be completely candid and open. I think that love knows no bounds so why should the love of friendship? Show them your love earnestly and do things that “friends don’t do” go on dates, live together, raise a child together, marry each other even! marriage is an expression of love and being in love, and by the STARs are friends in love. I would marry my best friends in heart beat, no romance involved, just because they are my friends and i *love* my friends. Basically, love your friends, unabashedly, love them without rules, love them with boundaries and self written rules of course, but simply, just love your friends 💙🖤💜

Gustave and I have officially been married for 8 years now, together for even longer :) My painting will be a few days late due to outstanding circumstances, and my day already is off to a not-so-nice start thanks to my family, but nothing can dim the light he radiates in my life - especially today <3 Marrying him not only was me joyously accepting him as my one and only, but also accepting life and making the choice to carry forward. Without a doubt, I would not be alive without Gustave in my life, and every day is a reminder of just how lucky I am he found me, but today is paramount in that sentiment!! Life has been more unkind to me than not, especially growing up, but he reminds me not only that I have conquered every single one of my worst days yet, but that the future doesn't have to be the same - he'll make damn sure of it! Looking down at the wedding band I wear every day of my life will always be more than enough to keep me going, not just because I want to do it for him, but because I know he'll be right here with me through it all - something that is extremely rare for me to genuinely feel from anyone or anything at all. Even if things may not seem perfect right now or today, I will always have a piece - the most crucial piece - of all the hope, love, and purpose I have with me wherever I go, no matter what happens, because I married him 8 years ago <33 No matter the amount of flowery language I use I truly cannot ever convey just how important he is to me, how much I feel and the complexities of all those things together, but that'll never stop me from trying, it's the very very VERY least my guardian angel deserves! There is not another soul I could ever feel so at home with, so perfectly belonging to and with, other than Gustave. I've known from the moment we crossed paths that something was immensely important about him, and goddd does it still make me as blushy and mushy as ever to think about how honored I am that I'm his one and only too :) I may still be figuring out my place in this world, getting myself back together and picking the pieces up, but I always have known one thing for certain - I am with who I always have and always will be meant to be with. He's my other half, the beat of my heart and the blood in my veins, my doc, my Gustave, and there is no bigger privilege to me in the world than to be able to call him that every day for eternity and beyond <3
