i don’t REALLY get the whole markgemma/markhelly debate. they’re two massively different relationships with very different dynamics. i personally don’t believe gemma is alive in any meaningful sense, not one where she and mark get a happily ever after. i feel like the point of his character isn’t giving him what he wants, but forcing him to face his grief and move forward. we’ve watched him step back from depression into bargaining and it’s not going great!
i feel like the point of the show is to ask, what are the ethics of creating so many different pieces of a person that all want and need different things, and there’s no definitively correct answer. it was never meant to be a competition and no pairing has been shown as better than the other. people say mark and gemma have no chemistry, we haven’t even seen true markgemma!! we’ve seen mark with ms casey and that’s not the same. same with outie mark and helena having some chemistry…that’s not markhelly!!
idk i feel like there’s a difference between acknowledging romance/love is a key part of the show and then obsessing over what ship is better so much so you ignore the insane intricacies of the situations but maybe that’s just me

sighs i don't wanna start any inner fight with the fandom but the way some people lowkey push force aside and don't wholeheartedly support him like they do with book is getting obvious and it upsets me so much. why am i seeing people complaining book didn't get a solo series in pt. 2 when 1) we got a cp series and he's acting with force 2) he's in only boo that is actually airing rn. i think it's only fair he got one in the first half and force got one in the second which by the way it's a very big project that will give him the chance to showcase his talent and broaden his range so why are you complaining about the "lack" of book's work instead of being happy for force? i just can't believe how people always find a way to see the worst and complain about it. they're both employed with good, promising projects considering 2024 as a whole seriously can we not rain on this parade?

Honestly I genuinely don’t want to sound like a huge loser or asshole over ppl having fun or think Snoopy is cute, I’m really not,
But at the same time…can the next internet cute little guy get popular already? Kinda starting to get sick of seeing Snoopy everywhere lmao.
I mean don't get me wrong, I’ve always been a big fan of Peanuts and I know the franchise has always praised as this iconic pop culture icon, but let’s be real, it used to barely even be popular with with any young teens (or any I knew) at all until nowadays lol
And with this big Snoopy boom that suddenly came out of nowhere, I'd always love for Peanuts to get more love from people around my age, aside from stuff like the Christmas special there's tons of other comics/movies/musicals that are kinda underrated that need more love.
But that’s not really what’s happening, all you see now online is just SNOOPY SNOOPY SNOOPY 24/7. And outside of a handful of strips/clips, it’s literally almost always the same ten pics of either Snoopy being cute or baby Snoopy being posted over and over tbh. But normally I don’t really mind or care abt this in its own tho, but some fans are kinda getting hypocritical ngl.
Like you could call Lucy or Peppermint Patty bitches all you want online, make violent parodies where they get beat up by CB as “revenge” yet say you hate Snoopy or acknowledge that he isn’t some soft, always innocent, precious angel even as a joke, and now you’ll get tons of fans flocking to you ganging up on you like
“NOO literally KYS!! How DARE YOU SAY THIS abt our precious NOOPY!!” when you know for a fact none of these gen z TikTok fans were caring abt boomer cartoons like the Peanuts this much a couple years ago let’s be real lol like it's so weird.

Oh how much Simon had to love you, to be waking up and not straight up murdering you for taking him from his precious sleep right now. “What is it, lovely?” He asked, still huddled under the blanket, eyes closed. He hadn’t budged.
“If I were …” You cut yourself up with a hiccup. Oh yeah, you had been out with your friends, you had probably one or two drinks too many. What weird question would come now? “If I were a worm…”
Oh yeah, okay, you were clearly drunk.
“I would love you, lovely, if you were a worm. Or a Swiss cheese. Or just an atom, even though that would be hard but I would still love you. Now, why don’t you get changed and…”
“Now you’re mad at me!” You complain and throw your pillow at his face, probably pouting so adorably like you always do.
Simon sat finally up and turned to meet your hazy gaze, you had trouble focusing on anything, always swaying and Simon decided enough is enough, helps you lay down and tugs the blanket over you, he makes sure you can’t move and accidentally hurt yourself. “Darling, I couldn’t be mad at you even if you…”
He couldn’t finish the sentence when he heard the snoring coming from your side. He grinned and shook his head and brushed a strand of hair from your face. “The hungover will be a nightmare tomorrow, love.”
He’s a good boyfriend and grabs you some aspirin and a bottle of water for the morning before slipping back into bed and falling asleep too.
(I am actually out of ideas on what to write atm, so sorry when I don’t post quite as often) (don’t even know why I’m apologizing, bad habit from bad old Twitter times I guess)
