I go by Perry but call me whatever, Stray, Pixel, Peregrine, whatever feels most formal to whichever is casual and informal, I don’t care.

I’m a trans masc, genderfluid, trans and technically gnc man. And I enjoy making complicated characters :3.

I am making a shittily drawn comic about some Minecraft OCs I’ve had baking for a while now.

I’ve always wanted to put my thoughts on…Paper? A digital canvas? Whatever.

Don’t expect high quality comic pages lol. They will never happen. (Or, if you’re expecting anything at all for that matter…)

I have almost no executive function! Which means, art can come late. I might be in a large hiatus for an unnecessary amount of days, and I’ll most likely forget about this account after a certain amount of time, but hey. What’s an artist without life constantly hitting at them? It’s alright, things happen.

I’m a self-taught character design artist who designs beyond the way the character looks.

I enjoy making characters with purpose, and I like making them according to personal experiences, most of them being metaphors.

This comic is still a rough draft, meaning the majority is based off of viewer’s engagement! So if you see a flaw, or if there’s something neat or a headcanon you’d like to add, yes even grammar corrections, my asks and replies will always be open— BUT! I will never open DMs, unless I make an exception.

No, I don’t add people or offer for others to work with me. I’m a minor and even if I’m above 13, I do not feel comfortable talking to people online casually. Conversations will stay formal, and if I do let anyone work with me on this (I highly doubt anyone would want to), I’d keep the relationship purely professional. No, this isn’t a paid job, and no, this isn’t a big time company project, but it’s what I’m comfortable with, unless I’ve seen you IRL.

I’ve also seen people reblogging with image ids, listen, I’m all for making things more accessible, but my brain is fried by the time I post my art. Feel free to add those too :D!! I do not want to make profit off of Minecraft’s or anyone else’s hard work (even though Mojang is already pretty rich— I MEAN WHO SAID THAT—) so in my defense of copy right, I’m just a game loving nerd who likes the characters more than the actual plot.

I make pretty controversial characters with controversial labels/character traits, so if you see a trait you don’t like— GOOD! If it’s an actual offensive problem, please let me know. I will also do polls to see if it’s just a personal bias or an actual general sentiment- upon request or personal judgement of course.

I make inaccurate fake gore, if you see something I right or if it’s not correct, let me know! And I’ll try to ‘redraw’, so to speak, the panel.

Guys I know we all make silly jokes about how YJs missions are crazy and scare the new kids and are cryptids for it, but the real reason the team would be seen as spooky and wild… is that the majority of the members aren’t around anymore.

Think about, four out of the eight core members of the team have just, disappeared.

They mention invading a country and Barts like “yeah it was to save Anita’s mom” and the younger hero’s are just like… “who???”

“Oh yeah, we had to deal with Darkseid back in the day, he was weirdly interested in our teammate Secret,” Tim (no real names unless necessary) Drake says casually “okay, ignoring the dealing with Darkseid part because idk how to comprehend that, who the fuck is Secret??” One of the batfam asks wildly. Steph chimes in with a casual “that’s the girl who tried to kill me, right?”

“Man, sometimes I miss Slobo,” Cassie says quietly when they’re chilling and one of the newer titans happens to be near by is just like “what the fuck is a Slobo?”

“Cissie would freak if she saw this,” Kon jokes. Conner Hawke is just like “I feel like I’m supposed to know who that is????”

Like, Secret, Cissie, Anita, and Slobo are just gone, and the new heroes definitely don’t know who they are, and most of the older heroes don’t either.

YJs mission reports are crazy for many reasons. One of which being no one knowing who the fuck they’re talking about.

Not to mention “I wish we still had the Supercycle, I wonder how its kid is doing?” “the What?? How???”

A little piece snaps off somewhere inside of her as her machinery tries and fails to push against the harder metal of your forearm. It's hard to tell if the little squeaks and whines escaping her are mechanical failure or exclamations of overstimulation, though at this point you suppose it doesn't matter. A thin half-gear wiggles out of its place as you wedge her torso apart, chiming pleasingly on each component it bounces against on its trip to the bottom of her chassis. You grasp a fistful of wires, watch her movements go desperate and erratic as you give it a forceful twist. Most of it snaps free. Her left arm goes limp. She shakily rests the other on your hip as your straddle her, and though her vocal box has been reduced to a whimpering distorted mess, it's clear what she's feeling. Please don't stop, keep going, go further. Take more. Destroy me if you need to. Whatever you do, just don't let this feeling end. You're happy to oblige. You rake fingers along the back wall of her interior, shredding PCB and connections all the way down. She gives a happy sound like a jammed industrial fan as her neck goes limp, head flopping to the side, her few geometric facial motors twitching. She moves that weak, convulsing hand from your hip to your waist, grasping hold of one of your abdominal columns. You pull hard on an interwoven cable cluster and it pops cleanly free from its port. The arm, her last functional limb, goes limp. You delicately uncurl it's fingers from around the column, placing the hand neatly at her side to mirror the other. In this state, it would be easy to mistake her for scrap. You imagine she likes that. Immobile, body splayed across the floor, sensation centers in overdrive, there's no doubt in your mind that the girl inside the motionless heap of metal beneath you is exactly where she wants to be. You sigh, press your rigid face tenderly against her own for a few seconds in an act that signals the beginning of a long and fulfilling process of aftercare. A dim LED blinks somewhere in the mess. You reach for your soldering iron.

Ok guess talking about A New Wish again cus I got invested lol

Anyways maybe it’s a me thing (it’s definitely a me thing) but, I do get a little sad when ppl act like Peri doesn’t care about or straight up hates Dev. I’ve seen a few rbs and tweets it’s not a lot but, it did make me think about this. See I actually got the opposite impression of what we’ve seen of the dynamic. Peri cares a bunch for the kid and Dev doesn’t dislike him just still struggling to trust him. We’ve seen him take awhile to trust ppl and let his mask down for Hazel. She also seems to be the only one who got to him so far.

So Peri is going through what a lot of parents do, ending up with a kid they weren’t prepared for. Bro seems mostly tired. If anything I feel if Peri was to be mad at anyone it not be Dev, it be the fairy department who assigned him a very obviously tougher case that a newbie as himself wasn’t equipped to handle. Dev by no means is a bad kid but, he’s more complicated compared to his god kid counterpart in Hazel. She definitely has her own issues (hence why Cosmo and Wanda wanted to help her) but, she’s more well adjusted than what’s going on with lil Dimmadome over there.

I’ve seen someone mentioned Peri was screwed over by the Fairy Department here which I 100% agree with. In fact I’ll go a step further and say they both were. Just like Peri should have been given a kid who he could more reasonably handle Dev should have gotten a gotten a fairy that had more experience so they could properly handle his issues. Yet despite all this I actually like that they were paired up this way.

It was a unfair yes but, also really irrelevant thinking about this. Cus given how the episodes been going so far I definitely see these two having an arc about Peri learning to appreciate his parents while letting them know he’s his own man now. While Dev is gonna learn to continue to open himself up to others. Eventually growing to trust Peri and see him as a dad. You given who his actual dad is like.

I take these two so seriously guys. I don’t think I’ve seen a fairy and god kid relationship like this. Most of them are usually at least got along relatively well. Honestly no not here. Peri and Dev pair up feels like it is set up to fail yet the idea they still in the end up making it work and get to see each other eye to eye is great. I have a strong feeling that where this is heading.

I’ll give them a bit and they’ll be like the sweetest adopted father and gay son dynamic. 💞

Edit: Wtf where all these notes coming from? I’m at least glad to see ppl agree with me here. I’m beyond happy he got Peri btw. Even if in universe it probably was a mess up or The Fairy Department fucking shit up lol
