my absolute dream song for 5sos to cover is I am australian by the seekers. maybe because it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever and and such a motivator for decolonisation but I’ve never heard a version of it I’m truly happy with. so imagine 5sos do cover it. and we get to decide who sings each verse (I just really want an excuse to do a poll okay, maybe polls about covers are my brand).

Hey folks! Got bored, been stressed, and in a strange creative fit wrote a song. Well, adapted one, really. A funny little soldiers' ditty from the 12 Worlds, I present; Marching O'er, to the tune of Waltzing Matilda.

I asked my mom and she listed a lot of things

The book by Roald Dahl, the waltzing Matilda song by Tom Waits, and another by Harry Belafonte. (THERE ARE TOO MANY SONGS WITH MY NAME, ITS IRRITATING) Also some queen apparently

2. When was the last time you cried?

Last weekend xndnnd was on a phone call with a friend and she asked me how I was doing

No, and I dont want any.

Hm, I dont think so. Here and there, but not a LOT. At least not that Im aware of

I have no idea! Never paid attention to it. Im too nervous for that

Happy endings! I dont like scary movies and avoid them. Im also the kind of person who appreciates happy endings even if others think theyre cheap

Staying at home :p I really wish I had more time.

To actually answer the question, I dont have one. I work at the library tho. I think working at a public library would be more fun, but I dont wanna organize events and do public speaking. 😭 My university library is big enough that not everyone has to do that. But idk if its a FUN job. In summer Ill finish my training, well see if the position I get after that will be too boring. I hope not! Its not terribly stressful at least

Lots of classical/instrumental music atm mixed with some random vintage bangers??! 😂

Trumpet Concerto in E Flat Major, III. Allegro by Joseph Haydn: One of my alltime favourite classical pieces even though I don't have a very strong connection to trumpet but I listened to this a lot as a child and it's so nice and cheerful ☺️🎺

Waltzing Matilda (Arr. Koncz) by Ray Chen: It's the aesthetic I wish I had in a song?? Also string instruments own my whole heart and it got me back into playing my violin ♥️🎻

Both Sides Now by Judy Collins: I really like this version even though Joni didn't reaaally approve but it just gives you such nostalgic feels and the lyrics are just 👌😌

Für Elise Jam by The Piano Guys: I mean come on, it sounds like old timey spies get into a fight in a theatre while the concert on stage is still going on and it switches between epic fight scenes and the pianist giving it their all 💃🏼

Head Over Heels by The Go-Go's: INSTANT GOOD MOOD!! And I actually got here through a musical soundtrack, at which point I have to add, showtunes are just my constant stream of music on repeat and it's very hard to pick individual songs from 😂

Weirdly enough, a random German Christmas romcom that apparently was the German answer to the Dutch version of Love Actually 😂 it's called Alles ist Liebe (This is Love is the English title I think) and it was very cute, I liked a lot of the actors in it which is why I picked it to watch as sort of background entertainment

I'm actually not really binging anything atm because I'm trying to read more but I'm very patiently awaiting every new Call The Midwife episode because it's just my favourite show of all time!! Have recently watched Years and Years though and scarred myself a little bit 🙆‍♀️

Take Me Home Tonight by Morgan Matson which came out YESTERDAY, and it was basically made specifically for me (young adult novel about two best friends who are theatre nerds going out for an adventurous night in NYC)
