Making a weighted velvet baikal seal plushie :3

Head and tail end are stuffed w ultra plush fiber fill and the bulk of the body is packed full of weighted pellets that have a nice crunchy sound when you squeeze it. Not weighed yet, but it feels between 1.5 - 2lbs?

One of the things that makes Catherine Morland from Northanger Abbey such a delightful character is that she is both April and Andy from Parks and Rec, rolled up into one contradictory, loveable weirdo.

Catherine is the most sweet, cheerful, wholesome, pure person imaginable.

They took a Star Wars droid and pirated him up perfectly. He’s missing an eye. He’s got a little animal buddy who rides around on him/in him. He’s got a pegleg and walks with a limp because of it. He’s 100% ready to throw hands at any moment. He’s the ship’s first mate and helmsman. He’s voiced by Nick Frost. His name is basically five degrees shy from being Mr. Smee.

skeleton crew is great fun btw it won me over by the end of the opening sequence and it stayed good the whole way through. it picked a genre and fucking nailed it, much like andor did, but in the opposite direction for a different target audience and emotional impact. it's just actually quite fun and full of so much star wars love and lore. the young actors are all very charismatic, and the writing is tone perfect. it's got an actually interesting mystery that makes curious going forward. i've only had neel in my life for an hour and a half, but if anything happened to him, i would kill everyone on here and then myself, etc. the bar was on the floor and it's shot over it by a mile. so far, at least, but i'm feeling optimistic, which is weird.
