It appears a stuffed raven with a duck pin on its chest has appeared in Lucifer's room! Around one of its legs is a little card, signed by Lucius - @flameandindifference ( Happy Father's Day!)

The King hadn't been gone long, most outings were made short as he'd much rather preferred to be busy at his crafting station or spending his time on his other hobbies. So it comes with it's own element of surprise when his eyes find one item in particular out of place at his work table.

A question evident and at play along his features, it soon turns to curiousity as he steps nearer, a slight bend in his posture as he further analyzed the dark, small figure.

A beak, wings and what's that, paper. He takes the note, black, clawed fingers unfurl the note. Reading it brings the warmth and joy to his blackened heart and soul that he hardly felt was still possible in more recent days but here it is. And he's moved, taking in a deep breath as his chest swells, overflowing in this moment of emotional outpouring. He slowly exhales. Picking up the plushie. Somehow he feels it, what it represents. The Raven being his dear son, unified with the duck, represented by the pin, Lucifer's well-known favored fowl. Gripping it tightly with a gentle smile and tears prickling the corners of his eyes.

That son of mine. "...maybe I am a sentimental old fool, these days." He laughs softly to himself. But that boy is going to be asked for a hug the next he's seen!

Leaning down a bit to show his son that he has his full undivided attention, the Devil listens in.

"Oh? Is that right." He lifts a brow, seeing the situation clear as day and it was a trial for certain, anytime one did find themselves dealing with handling comparisons to others. But it was just a game meant for simple amusement and yet Lucifer was now tasked with how to convey this to his boy.

"Well now, don't let that get you down! It's a machine! It hasn't any eyes, now does it? Let alone any brains?" He chuckles. "Just look at it, there's no room for it, where would it keep any of it?" he waves his cane to point in this calculating device's direction.

He looks at his father, still miffed about the score that quz gave. Maybe he could find a way to set it on fire?

"... I took that quiz everyone else is taking... I got 45%."

"Really?" Saul questioned.

Little Horus nodded, "I already look like the warmaster. I didn't need others saying I was copying Ezekyle even if I had it before meeting him."

Lucius reluctantly took a drink as well, "It was a short-lived phase in my scout days, but I did have a top knot."

Abbadon took a sip.

Lucius cackled, "You?? Of all people!"

Abbadon glanced, "You're telling me you never kissed your mother goodbye or in greeting?"

Lucius blinked, then glowered as he took a drink.

Saul laughed.

Loken spoke, "Never have I ever snuck into the garbage -"

"Oh, come on, Garvi," Tarik sighed as he rolled his eyes.

"To eat discarded sweets as a neophyte," the blond finished.

They all stared as Loken slowly took a sip. Then the others followed suit.

Tarik interjected, "You can't deny how good those things were. I still dream about them!"

"Why show us sweet delicacies and then throw them away in front of us as punishment?" Aximand questioned. "The utter pain!"

"They were still packaged," Lucius added. "Not any of the open ones."

They nodded in agreement.

"Never have I ever eaten one of those that were already opened," Lucius said quickly.

"Throne damnit," Tarik groaned as he drank.

Ababbadon did so as well, and shamefully, so did Saul and Loken.

"Thank the stars, I still have my dignity," Aximand muttered.

‘ i want everything to stop ’ the little Prince murmurs miserably, trembling from the pain that wracks his body. His two bloods are in conflict again and he's been bed bound as result for the entire day - @flameandindifference, poetry starters

The King of Hell is rendered helpless as he's left to only bear witness as his son's body convulses in anguish and pain that's likely unimaginable to go through. It pulls at the father's full unfettered sympathy as he wishes there was more he could do to ease this excruciating and unwelcome affliction. Much likened to a curse that desperately could use undoing. And Lucifer would give anything to know a solution to lift this.

"I...I know, I know son. I am just.. I'm so sorry this..." The ache in his throat catches his words, it refuses to allow their release for the moment. He reaches for his boy's hands, desperate in an attempt to provide reassurance. He does what he can as a parent to steel his resolve, he has to be the strong one."You are going to get through this, Lucius! You hear me! Dad is right here with you and he isn't going anywhere!" He tightens his hand over his son's as he lay in bed, his body fighting itself.

"It's all going to be over soon. I promise." His eyes shut and he emits a soft glow of golden angelic light meant to soothe and aid in regeneration. Healing magick he rarely allows himself to tap into and use despite full mastery of they type form. But for situations such as these, he would ignore his own persional hang-ups.

And just like that he watched his own hellion take flight and begin to tear right into a deliberate course action. Nothing wrong with the occasional bit of chaos, all the better when it mixed into a fair bit of fun! And what a show!

He gives out a heft, projected laugh filled with amusement.

"Atta Boy! Go get 'em!" he encourages.

Lucifer waves a hand, and the orchestra of his duplicates changes the set, the music changing to a much more amped and fitting composition. It urges on the current mood and really matches the suspense and thrill Lucifer himself is now filled up with. He begins dancing along to the music, snapping his fingers in time until he has to provide refills for the targets his son has taken out. Employing his apple-topped cane each time, aiming to cause a flash to appear summoning replacements.

Giddy.

The boy is giddy and nearly bouncing on his feet as the targets are summoned, shifting the weapon from one hand to the other while his snake-tail hisses in excitement. It's been some time since he was allowed to go absolutely wild, as he tried to behave if just for his sister's sake. But for today... for today, he could be a feral little monster all he wanted!

Black strands of hair bleed to blond and a new pair of wings sprout from the Prince's back, his demonic form emerging out of sheer delight.

"Hahaha~!"

And just like that, the moment he's given the go ahead, the little demon takes off to put the morning star to good use. He was going to have more than a bit of fun going crazy on the targets supplied to him. At some point, he'll even cut the bonds of one just to chase them around the area, enjoying the challenge of catching up.

It felt so good to go wild again!
