Harley would use a batburger to lure in him first of all, no using a human sized cage with the burger inside because that plan failed when he just dipped through the wall like it was mist instead of pure cage steel.

Only for half a week to go by and she is met with too small child hiding in one of the giant watermelon patches, eating the insides of the fruit covered in watermelon juice, with his head peaking out like a meerkat staring at her either glowing green eyes before they flashes back to blue resuming back to eating a giant chunk of watermelon flesh.

Before You Interact

Seonghwa had been panicking all day. You had gone into labor around 3am but still didn’t start active labor until hours after arriving at the hospital. After hours of physically and mentally exhausting labor, your son was finally in your arms. Even after your doctor confirmed that both you and your son were healthy, your boyfriend really couldn’t relax. When you feed Yejun for the first time, Seonghwa finally relaxes and lays him down to sleep in the bassinet.

“We’re parents.” He sighs happily, squishing onto the hospital bed beside you.

“Yes, we are.” You chuckle, “You finally relaxed now?”

Your boyfriend nods, “It was a crazy morning.”

“Yeah,” you let out a breathy laugh, “I just spent 8 hours pushing him out of me.”

Seonghwa kisses your hair, “And you did an amazing job. He’s perfect.”

Seonghwa looks over at your sleeping son and smiles brightly. He’s so proud to call himself a father; your son is everything he could ever wish for and more. He then turns to you and cups your face in his hands. You smile softly at him, and he returns the look. Your boyfriend leans in and kisses you softly. The tender moment is disrupted by multiple notifications from your phone. When you glance at it, you notice that it’s only 1pm.

“Should we let the others know he’s here? I’m sure Danbi is pacing through your dorm right now, and Mingi is trying to get her to sit down.” You joke.

“You should rest.” He worries.

You shake your head, “I’m actually quite awake… I think I’m on some sort of adrenaline high.”

Seonghwa shakes his head at you and looks down at his hand intertwined with yours. He frees his hand a moment later and texts your group chat to let everyone know Yejun has finally arrived. It takes all of two minutes to have Eunji FaceTiming you. Despite your clearly disheveled state, you answer.

“Can we come?” She asks, skipping all courtesies.

“Hi Eunji, I’m great! Yejun and I are healthy and safe.”

“Can we come then?!” She questions again.

Seonghwa butts in, “Yeah, visiting hours end at 4pm tonight so if any of you plan to come you’re welcome to.”

“I’m meeting my nephew!” You hear Yunho yell in the background followed by a door slamming.

Of course, the rest of your friends were all holed up together in the Ateez dorm. You hear Yejun quietly whining, alerting you of his waking state. Quickly, you say goodbye to your friends, and Seonghwa tells them the maximum number of visitors at a time. You reach your son and see him slowly blink as he wakes up. You know he can’t see much of anything yet, but he knows it’s you. During your prenatal class, you learned that babies have an incredible ability to sense their parents without even really seeing them well. Carefully, you lift him up and hold him close to your body. You gave birth to him just over two hours ago, and already you can’t get enough of holding him. Returning to your bed, you feed him again, and Seonghwa offers to attempt his first diaper change. You both quickly found out Yejun does not enjoy them. 

Once he’s changed, Seonghwa carries him back to you. You both sit there for a while, holding Yejun and Seonghwa, wrapping his arms around you. Honestly, you don’t know how you’ve ever lived any other way before having both your boys. A soft knock sounds on your door, interrupting the domestic moment.

“I’ll go get it.” Seonghwa offers, “It’s probably our friends.”

You nod and look back down at Yejun, who is fast asleep again. Seonghwa is quietly talking with someone at the door, but you can’t be bothered to pay attention due to how enamored you are by your son. You hear footsteps growing louder, then feel Seonghwa’s hand gently curl over your shoulder. Looking up, you look at your boyfriend then see Yunho. You suppose his mad dash out of the dorm made him the first to arrive. It wouldn’t surprise you if he didn’t even wait for anyone else to get in the car before he left.

“Do you want to hold him?” You ask quietly after you notice Yunho’s shocked state.

The tall man nods and takes a few steps closer, “He’s so tiny.” He comments once you pass him the baby.

“He is only two hours old.” You laugh, “Of course he’s tiny.”

In Yunho’s hands, Yejun looks even smaller. His large hands are about half of your son’s entire body length. For a moment, you think your friend may cry. He’s been excited for you to have Yejun from the moment he found out about your pregnancy. You, Yunho, and Seonghwa chat for a while. Yunho holds your son as long as he can until Yejun grows fussy and Seonghwa takes him back. Suddenly, Yunho’s phone starts ringing in his pocket. He sighs when he sees the caller and accepts the FaceTime call.

“Hello, Mingi.” He says in a playfully annoyed tone.

“Mingi’s parking the car. Get your ass out of there. I need to see Yejun right now.” Danbi yells into the phone.

“Okay, okay. He’s fussy so have fun with that.”

You look over and see Seonghwa pacing while gently rocking him and humming quietly; the amount of love poring from his eyes makes your heart soar with butterflies. Yejun won’t calm down, though. You motion for your boyfriend to bring him to you. Instantly, Yejun calms and seems to be searching for your chest in hopes of milk. After that, Yunho dismisses himself to allow you the privacy of feeding.

“What?” You question when you notice Seonghwa watching you.

“Nothing.”

“Nothing? You’re staring at our son while he’s eating.” You tease.

Seonghwa smiles brightly and sits at the foot of the bed.

“It’s beautiful. You’re beautiful. He’s beautiful. I couldn’t imagine life without you both.” 

Another knock raps on the door. You quickly pull your hospital gown up and over your son as he continues to feed. Seonghwa pops his head out the door and then allows the guests in. Both your friends step into the room. Their boyfriends are nowhere to be seen yet.

“Where–”

“Currently latched to my chest.” You cut off Danbi, “He’s hungry.”

A few moments later, Yejun is done feeding, and you strategically move him from under the gown to lay him against your shoulder to burp him. Once he does, you hold him for both Eunji and Danbi to see. Danbi looks like she’s in some sort of elated shock. You don’t expect to see Eunji almost instantly break down in tears. She walks closer but doesn’t reach out to hold him due to her state. She had done her own research and didn’t want to risk him getting sick in any way.

“He’s so…” She tapers off.

Eunji steps into your bathroom and cleans her hands (maybe too thoroughly) before returning and asking to hold him. She looks at him as if he’s her world. On more than one occasion, she’s mentioned that she doesn’t want kids of her own. Luckily, Yeosang feels the same way. The two of them are more than happy being an aunt and uncle to whoever ends up having kids in your friend group. 

You look for Seonghwa, but notice he stepped out. He knew it was a raw and personal moment for Danbi and Eunji to meet your son. You’re thankful he gave that moment to them despite his papa bear mode already being present two hours into your son’s life. The door opens again, and You see your boyfriend walk in with Mingi and Yeosang in tow. Yeosang immediately wraps his arms around Eunji from behind and rests his chin on her shoulder. He looks at Yejun in her arms and smiles softly. The entire scene melts your heart. 

Despite not wanting to hand off your son, she reluctantly passes him to Mingi. Yet again, your son looks pea-sized in his hands. Danbi breaks from her excitement-induced stupor. She reaches over and rubs her finger along Yejun’s soft cheek. He thinks it’s a food source and tries to latch onto it. She lets out a quiet giggle at the action. Mingi has a goofy smile on his face. You know he’s happy, though. His eyes are sparkling looking at the infant in his hands. Since he panicked about finding your pregnancy tests in Danbi’s bathroom, he’s been vocal about his wish for kids in the future. Though, he and Danbi agreed, not for a while still. 

“The other four are blowing up the group chat, waiting to get in here.” Seonghwa laughs lightly, “I’m sure they want to meet him before his mother passes out on us.”

“I’m fine.” You protest. Your yawn betrays your sentiment. 

Danbi nods, “As much as we’d love to stay, I have a few exams to prepare for, and somebody has meetings tomorrow.” She comments, throwing Mingi a playfully annoyed look.

Yeosang looks at Yejun being passed back to you. His eyes are wide and shiny. Somewhere between concerned and enamored. As much as he loves your son already, him being just over three hours old now makes him scared that he’ll break him somehow. 

“Did we get the godparents title?” Eunji asks, eyes locked on Yejun.

“You know damn well you share that with all of us!” Mingi whines.

His volume causes Yejun to burst out in tears. Not used to loud sounds yet. You bounce him lightly and shush him. Yeosang’s concerned yet enamored face intensifies and the four of them quickly excuse themselves. (Much to Eunji’s dismay). After the door is shut again, another yawn escapes your lips.

“If you’re too tired, my love, we can tell Joong, San, Wooyoung, and Jongho to come by tomorrow.” Seonghwa tells you with a bit of worry in his tone.

You shake your head, “It’s okay. It wouldn’t be fair to them if everyone else got to meet him today.”

Seonghwa sighs, “It’s what your limit is, and his is too… if you’re too tired if he’s too tired… they’ll understand.”

“Seonghwa, we’re okay.” You offer a soft smile. 

Despite his lingering concern, Seonghwa leaves to retrieve the last four people who need to meet your little one. The moment the door knob clicks open, San is bursting through the door, with Wooyoung not far behind. Both of them look over the moon with joy and excitement. Wooyoung is the first to get to hold him. San whines about it the whole time. The slightly younger male rambles on and on in a quiet voice about how much fun they’ll have when he’s older. Eventually, San steals the baby from him and looks at him with a sweet, dimpled smile.

“He looks a lot like Seonghwa.” He chuckles, “Almost identical to the baby pictures we’ve seen of him.”

“You trying to say he looks nothing like me?” You tease.

San nods, “Exactly that!” He giggles, “Seriously though, you two are going to be amazing parents. I’m happy for you.”

Wooyoung and San hoard Yejun, Hongjoong, and Jongho hang back the whole time and quietly observe. That is, until, San passes the newborn to Hongjoong when he notices just how tired you’re getting and drags a very chatty Wooyoung out of the room. Hongjoong looks like a fish out of water, to say the least. Then, Yejun blinks up at him. His expression completely changes, and he looks as though he could melt at any moment.

“A new first mate?” He teases Seonghwa.

“Don’t push it. Make your own first mate if you really want one.”

Hongjoong laughs quietly, “But you’re so good at the job. I’m sure Yejun would be just as good.”

The two go back and forth for a while. In the meantime, Jongho pulls a chair closer to you. 

“You did good.” He states plainly.

“Thank you?”

“I’m serious. I couldn’t have imagined Seonghwa in this position a few years ago. You’re really good for him, and having Yejun showed me even more that you two are special. You know… when he first mentioned wanting to ask you out properly, he came to me for advice. I’m really happy he did. He loves you, and now Yejun, more than anyone on this planet or further. You did good.” He smiles softly at you.

“Jongho,” you pause for a moment, “Thank you.”

He nods, “Of course, I’ll hold him another time, okay?”

“Are you sure?” You question your maternal instincts, kicking in full force.

He nods again, “I can just tell how exhausted you and Seonghwa are. He’s just not letting it on. And I’m sure Yejun is exhausted from meeting people all afternoon, too. Get some rest. You all deserve it.”

fine but dullish F58 ½° at 6 55/.. goodish kiss last night comfortable enough at Queen’s head at Staindrop – not so cheap and good as at Greta Bridge – off for Raby castle at 9 26/.. there in ¼ hour- drove into the hall – by much the most imposing part of the story – the castle well worth seeing but too much modernized within generally and without as to the windows – no pictures worth seeing but six good views of Venice by Canaletti [Canaletto] – castle and terraces stand on 2 acres – the old baronial hall seemed smaller than when I saw it from Croft 10 or 12 years ago, because perhaps now converted into a museum of natural history – some pretty good birds stuffed and shells and minerals – the housekeeper very civil – cleans the marble slabs and chimney pieces (the red porphyry columns of the entrance hall and the imitation verd antique of the excellent of the dining room only scagliuola) with a mixture of soft soap and Spanish whitening and pear ash smeared on to the marble should remain on a fortnight at least and then be washed off with hot water and a fine soft brush to take all out of the carved work – the breadth of flat grass terrace round the castle to the parapet wall surrounding it, not much wider in the widest part than 20 yards – flagged way close up to the windows some 8 some 5ft. broad- off from Raby at 10 47/.. and nice drive to Bishop Auckland at 11 ¾ a treat little town – alighted at goodish Inn and walked across the great square to the castle, a handsome modern castle-like house – went over it in 25 minutes – in the dining room Jacob and his 12 sons by Ribera Spagnoletti [Spagnoletto] (all but one by Pond) in as many of the large panels – Louis Cornaro his, son, grandson, and 4 or 5 great grandsons by Titian and 1 or 2 more pictures – none but a few bishops elsewhere and the whole house looked very bare of furniture – a picture in the fine large handsome chapel (roof very fine oak-carving in square compartments armorial) over the alter by Sir Joshua Reynolds – Xst [Christ] ascending from the X in 1 compartment of window and in one ditto on each side, a Roman soldier falling or fallen to the Earth in astonishment and terror – not a pleasing picture to me – the 2 soldiers heavy and clumsy – the Xst [Christ] not handsome and seeming faded as to colouring – an hour strolling about the park – very picturesque good castle-like deer sheds looking like handsome arcaded stables from the castle – the little river Gaunless (pronounced Ganless) enlarged and deepened and weared and paved with stones and spoiled opposite the house – it flows in a rocky picturesque ravine – the country around beautiful �� 5/8 of an octagon battlemented old looking temple or seat on the opposite side of the river well situated near the top of the hill and commanding nice view of the castle – 5 open archways, rather pointed, like old fashioned doorways – a small buttress from bottom to top between each archway – about 4ft. wide and 6ft. 6in. high to the span of the arch – this might do at the top of the Conery wood – off from Bishop Auckland at 1 40, pretty about the picturesque village (large village green or square) of Piercebridge – handsome 3 arched street over the picturesque rock-bedded tees but a small river just now, so little water in its bed – colonel Pulleyn has a goodish 3 story house on entering the village – no post horses – went forward (21 miles) to Cattericke bridge – off from there at 4 50/.. and at Masham at 6 55/.. – for the last half hour had grubbled her well just done before driving into the town ordered tea at 8 and strolled into the neat good church – handsome monument (about 1613) to a sir Marmaduke Wyville [Wyvill] and his wife – 3 or 4 Danby monuments but recent and not handsome the church in mourning for the last of his house William Danby Esquire of Swinton who died about 5 months ago – then walked to the house to the about a mile + very pretty drive – walked up to the house as near as we could for high-iron-railed – off flower garden in front – modern castellated – joined on to a common sort of plain house and offices – not in particularly good architectural keeping but looking very pretty – the park struck us as far more beautiful than that at Rokeby – tho’ the entrance lodges not castle-like, and not at all suited to the house – back in about ½ hour at 9 – tea – wrote all the above of today till 11 25/.. at which hour F58° now in sitting room, fine day – coolish in the evening but very fine on leaving Bishop Auckland found cousin gently came not afterwards incommoded

Hey whats up hello pals! It’s Emma (jooha, & danbi mun), once again bringing you my son, Eden. HERE’S a little pinterest board if you’re interested. Please show him some love and if you’d like to plot then like this post and I will come to you! :D

Little run down:

Eden grew up in New York with a single mother. He never met his dad and his mother didn’t like to talk about him much. Around his mother he liked to pretend it never bothered him since his life never felt like it was missing anything. but theres a part of him still hurt he’d walked out on them. 

His mother worked at a public library and when he wasn’t at school he was losing himself in the stacks of books while his mother worked or getting into a little trouble with friends. Life was easy. It was simple and he had no complaints.

Everything changed when his mother passed away due to illness when he was 9. Eden was forced to move to Seoul with his grandmother which he only really knew from speaking to her over the phone. Although he didn’t know her much, he took comfort in the stories she would tell him about his mother from when she was little.

When he was old enough, Eden would help his grandmother at her cafe after school. That’s where he was first found. Scouts had come in for a drink and took an interest in his good looks.

The idol life wasn’t something he’d dreamed of, but after watching his grandmother work endlessly day in and out he decided to try it out. He wanted to relieve some of the burden.

She got to see him debut but sadly passed away a few years after. That’s when he became a bit unhinged.

He no longer had any family or really any reason to work towards something. He became reckless. The once good boy that did everything he could for his family was gone. Drinking and drug use became a regular thing for him despite the consequences.

Flying Solo

Tuesday 9th May

I had an excellent breakfast at the quirky and expensive Brockley Hall hotel but was still on the trail by 8.40.

It was bright and the BBC had promised no rain until 2pm earliest. I walked down to the sea front and then to the daunting steps to get back on to the cliff tops. A couple just about to start their assault on the steps stood aside and invited me to go first as “ You’ll be quicker than us”. No pressure then! I pushed myself quite hard and by the time I got to the top I was blowing heavily and feeling the effects of the large breakfast. Still I had got a few steps ahead of the couple and once at the top I raced away from them.

It was quiet up there and I didn’t see anyone else until I got to Skinningrove where I took advantage of the free toilets and had a chat with an old guy who was trying to tell me a short cut back on to the cliff tops. There is of course no way to shortcut height gain but his route avoided the very steep steps I was now looking at. It all sounded too complicated though so I headed up steps in front of me and soon I was standing on the cliff tops. It was muddy and in parts the track was treacherous. I had three slides today but none resulted in an actual fall and I resolved to take more care.

After the rather bleak town of Skinningrove I pushed on to Staithes where I saw lots of tourists. Just before entering the town it started to rain. In fact the rain got heavy and I was forced to stop and put my waterproofs on. It’s such a lovely place you feel you must be in Cornwall.

I stopped for coffee and teacake at a little cafe where I spoke to a Mother and Son team who were celebrating her Birthday with a walk followed by cake. He had done the Lyke Wake Walk last year in 13hours- it’s 40 miles so a very good effort.

I then pushed on to Runswick Bay. I was wanting to catch the bus to Whitby but I missed the first one by about 20 seconds. It pulled off ignoring my gesticulations as I lumbered along the road. It did though give me chance to look around and I saw the Cliffemount Hotel had ceased trading and the Runswick Bay hotel didn’t open until 4pm so obviously hospitality wasn’t booming in the area

The bus to Whitby was fast and I then wandered around Whitby until the Danby train arrived. It was a picturesque train journey and I was halfway up the hill to The Fox and Hounds when Col drew up to give me a lift. It’s been just 13.1 miles today but quite a lot of up and down as the trail descends to sea level at least three times.

I then had some lovely time with my Grandchildren Milo and Lyra whilst Vicky very kindly did some more washing for. I am blessed to have such a lovely family.

Overall a good days walking, long enough to be tired but not too long and apart from the one heavy shower the weather has been kind. Most of the people on the cliffs were dog walkers and whilst I’m slow on the hills no one passed me today.

I’ve now had Steak Pie and Chips in the F&H plus a few beers with Tony W who is walking with me tomorrow andJohn Brown with a couple of his friends. John is on a little walking break himself and it’s coincidental that we are staying in the hotel at the same time.

I’m looking forward to walking with Tony tomorrow.

Cookie Run Kingdom- Cheesyitis (Based on Frozen Fever)

Golden Cheese, Princess, Cavatappi, and the others plan a special birthday celebration for Mimolette months after her return, but when Goldie catches a cold, her Ancient Cookie powers put more than just the party at risk.

The Cheese Triplets, Casu Marzu, and some other characters belong to me.

It had been a few months after Princess Professor Mimolette Cookie had returned after an epic journey to find her and her parents. But today, Golden Cheese was extra busy- for it was her daughter’s surprise birthday party. She wanted her to have something to remember, especially with her whole family and all of her friends and allies around. “Come on, Goldie. This is for Mimi! You can do this!” She nervously said as she placed the crystal butterfly cake topper on the cake, which was decorated with sugar crystals and fake sugar butterflies. “Relax, Mom in Law! It looks great!” Prince Professor Cavatappi, her son in law, said. “I just want her to have something to remember.” The golden sovereign replied as she walked over, while Pure Vanilla Cookie arranged flowers from Mimi’s garden, Hollyberry Cookie and her family supplied berry juice by the bottle, and Dark Cacao Cookie plus his son Dark Choco Cookie and wife ChocoPearl Cookie cut up paper chains. Sparkling supplied his signature juice; Cocoa helped make the hot cocoa bar, Herb helped with the table settings, Mint Choco and DJ chose some party tunes, and Vampire plus his sister Alchemist handled the piñata.

“Speaking of which, check this out!” Cavatappi answered, revealing a banner he and his nieces + nephews made that said “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIMI” in bright letters. “Everyone, are you sure I can leave you in charge here?” Golden Cheese replied. “Of course you can!” Madeleine said as he got the party games set up while Espresso got a brewing station ready. “Because I don’t want anything to go wrong today.” Goldie replied as she flew over. The cheesebird triplets giggled as they ate some of the miniature cupcakes, which looked like Cheesebeetles. “Kids, those are for the party!” Sosha, their mother replied as she flew over with their father, Danby. “Yes, Mama and Papa.” The trio, made up of Fontina, Colby, and Brie said as they flew towards their parents. Prince Mac N Cheese Cookie, their neighbor and Goldie’s grandson, flew over as well. Then, Golden Cheese knew that the party was about to start for real. “Two things- One, Make sure to not let anyone in until we’re ready; and two, Keep an eye on everything, got it?” She said as she flew away quickly. “Got it!” Princess Cookie shouted as she, her sister Tiger Lily, Tea Knight and Eclair hung up balloons and streamers; while Cheesecake, Birthday Cake, Piñata, and Firecracker handled the rest of the decor. “What could possibly go wrong today?” Parmesan, Golden Cheese’s husband, said with a smile as he tied a few more ribbons. Burnt Cheese, Mozzarella, and Smoked Cheese also helped decorate too.

Inside her daughter’s house, Golden Cheese smiled as she approached her sleeping daughter. “Wake up, sweetie. It’s your birthday!” Mimolette sat up and gasped. “I-It’s my birthday?!” She said as she leapt to her feet. “Yes! I know how much you missed when you, your friends, and your father and I celebrated your birthday, so we’re going to make this one your best one yet!” Golden Cheese said, only for her to sneeze and two Cheesebirds to appear out of nowhere. Neither mother or daughter noticed. “But first, let’s get dressed!” Goldie said as both of them got dressed in party dresses with butterflies and jewels, respectively, while having their tiaras on as well. “Now… for the presents!” She squealed.

Laughing, mother and daughter followed a long string that the Ancients had wound through the kingdom, leading Mimi to various different gifts. Inside one of Tea Knight’s suits, was a silver butterfly bracelet. Inside one of Eclair’s cabinets, lay a Parfaedia snowglobe. And on the balcony of Hollyberry’s vacation home, there was a bouquet of desert flowers. Mimolette was so happy! But Goldie sneezed AGAIN. More Cheesebirds popped out of nowhere and flew to the ground. Both still didn’t even notice! The Cheesebirds flew into the party venue, where Lil Mac was thrilled to see them. “Hi, little guys!!” He squealed. “Uh oh…!” Cavatappi’s siblings said in unison as they placed the food on the buffet table. The Brave Gang immediately took action as well, stopping all the decorating and immediately chasing after the little birds.

Mimi and Goldie followed the string all across The Cookie Kingdom. Along the way, Mimi discovered more presents: A family portrait, a Cheesebird Doll, and even a fishing Rod! But Golden Cheese was sneezing way more often. And each time she sneezed, more Cheesebirds appeared. The pair didn’t see any of them. Finally, Mimolette broke the ice. “This day’s been amazin’. But I think ya need to get back home and rest.” “Wait! There’s more, sweetie!” Golden Cheese persuaded. She then led her daughter to The Squirrel Shop, where she presented her daughter with a gorgeous butterfly wing style cloak. The Maestro Sugar Gnome stepped out of the door and noticed Golden Cheese sneezing. “How about some medicine for you?” He asked. Mimi took the bottle without hesitation. “We may or may not need that.” Later, Goldie took Mimi to the Kingdom Plaza, where Lil Mac’s friends had another surprise for her. “Happy birthday, Princess Professor!” Gumball Cookie said as he unveiled a mural he had made himself. Goldie turned to her daughter. “They absolutely love you, Mimi- AHH, AHHH, AAAAACCCHHOOOOO!!”

More Cheesebirds appeared out of nowhere and flew into the venue. The Triple Cone Trio, Cavatappi, and the others tried to get things under control; but the little birds where all over the place! Cream Puff Cookie noticed the birds flying towards the cake. She conjured up a spell to keep them away. “Protecticus… Cakeicus!” She shouted as she shielded the cake while Walnut Cookie tore up some bread and got the birds away. Suddenly, the flock of Cheesebirds perched on the banner and wrecked it, sending pages everywhere! Prune Juice Cookie grinned. “We’ll get it!” He shouted. Cavatappi caught each of the Cheesebirds in the bowl just as the Triple Cone Trio finished repairing the banner. Capsaicin Cookie smiled. “All done!” He shouted. Kouign Amann Cookie grinned in return. “Whaddya think?” She asked. Cavatappi was horrified as he saw The Triple Cone Trio hanging from the banner. “PHAPY RHABDIOM TIMIY?!” Almond and Latte couldn’t help but laugh.

At the same time, Golden Cheese had led Mimolette to the last stop. There Was just a single gift left hidden in the Cookie Castle. But Mimi’s arms were filled to the brim with presents, and Goldie’s cold was getting worse. Mimolette persuaded her mom, “Please, Mom. Ya need to get some rest!” Golden Cheese wasn’t listening, though. She was feeling a bit… feverish as she flew up the stairs to the top of the castle. “It’s your happy birthday, my darling,” she sang. “Happy, jolly, hot, hot, birthday…” But just before Golden Cheese lost her balance, Mimi dropped the gifts and flew down to catch her. “Mom, ya practically have a fever! We need to get ya to bed.” “I really am that sick.” Golden Cheese admitted. She sighed as her daughter helped her through the venue gates. “I’m so sorry, Mimi. I ruined your perfect birthday.” But Mimolette just smiled. “Ya didn’t screw up anythin’, mom. Everythin’ was truly��!”

“SURPRISE!!!” Mother and daughter stopped short. Everyone Mimi had helped, was friends with, all of her students, and her whole extended family were all there in the venue- surrounded by who knows how many little Cheesebirds! “Wow!” Mimi said, ecstatically. “Wow.” Golden Cheese replied, shocked. Everyone ran up to Mimolette and hugged her, wishing the Princess Professor a happy birthday- especially Royalberry, Jungleberry, and Dark Choco, her three bestest friends of all. Princess and Tiger Lily, caught up in the excitement, ran up to her and tackle-hugged her. “Happy birthday! We love you, Mimi!” Then the guests stopped, stunned by what Princess had said.

Mimi had grinned at her biggest fan; then she turned to her mom. “Ok; mom. Time to go to bed.” But Goldie was persistent. “Wait! All that’s left is for the queen to blow the Birthday Bukkehorn!” She shouted. Mimolette knew what was going to happen next. “Nonononononono!” She replied. “ACHOO!” The Queen sneezed out Puffington, a massive Cheesebird, who was sent flying to Beast Yeast. Meanwhile, Casu Marzu Cookie, the Queen’s traitorous former advisor, was muttering her next plan… only to get crushed by Puffington himself. The other Cookies of Darkness burst out laughing, while Casu growled and flipped off the royals for not inviting her to the party.

But Mimi was still smiling when she tucked her mom into bed not long afterwards, giving her some nice hot soup she had made herself. “Thanks, Mom. That was the greatest birthday present ever.” She said. Golden Cheese looked at her daughter. “Which one?” “Me finally havin’ a genuine birthday party with everyone I know and love… and you finally letting me take care of ya.” At those words, Goldie embraced her daughter without hesitation. “I love you too, sweetie. Happy birthday.” She said as Sosha and Danby, dressed as a doctor and nurse; landed near her as she sneezed again, summoning their neighbors from their homeland. But not long after the party, Lil Mac was riding his tricycle with the triplets in the basket, leading a parade of Cheesebirds through the kingdom. Cavatappi sighed as he laid on the shoulders of his parents, Fusilli and Ravioli. “Don’t ask.” He said to them with an exhausted sigh. It had been a long day indeed.

camille's expression is so instantly transformed into a genuine smile, like a kid who's just woken up on christmas morning, as soon as danbi told her that she's always welcome . that's all camille ever wanted, really . especially now when she's so far from home . cami moved over to the bed and shuffled in to the space made for her, careful and gentle in making sure she didn't disrupt danbi's leg . " i love you so, so much, " her eyes were still watery and it became more impossible to hide it as she wrapped one of her arms around her in a hug . " i actually brought you something ." cami's smile turned excited, her shyness coming from the anticipation of this moment . she held up her other hand to show a sketch she'd done in the time she'd been reeling about the near loss of her friend . camille had gone to the safety of her imaginary world as she so often did, escaping any kind of reality that danbi was hurt and drawing something way closer to what she wanted . she handed the picture over to dani : a sketch of dani, camille and solar . solar had a crocheted peach hat donned in sunflowers and cute swirls, his long ears sticking out the top . danbi and camille were either side of the rabbit, but instead of hats they had headbands with long ears on them . camille was definitely capable of better if she'd have more time and been in a less emotional state, but she was desperate to gift something that felt like a little escape for the brain . " because i know lala misses you, " she spoke of her rabbit son, heart aching at how much she missed him but trying not to show it in her smile .

             camille's  voice  makes  her  chest  ache,  even  more  so  when  she  clocks  the  nasally  hint  of  emotion.  it  brings  forth  a  desire  to  rip  herself  from  the  bed  to  envelope  her  friend  and  provide  reassurances,  along  with  unnecessary  apologies,  but  she  shouldn't.  she  can't.  not  if  she  hopes  her  leg  heals  without  incident,  and  that  hurts  almost  more  than  her  injuries  themselves.  her  response  is  soft,  spoken  through  a  small  smile,    ❝  no,  honey.  i'm  sorry,  your  company  is  always  welcome.  ❞    the  artist  is  a  breath  of  fresh  air  for  danbi,  the  embodiment  of  love  and  warmth,  and  while  she's  a  friend  dani  isn't  sure  she  deserves,  there  are  no  words  to  describe  how  lucky  she  feels  to  have  her  (  and  solar  )  in  her  life.  without  moving  her  propped  up  leg,  the  raven  scooches  the  best  she  can  to  provide  room  for  her  guest  before  patting  the  now  empty  space  on  her  bed,  finally  throwing  a  glance  over  her  shoulder.    ❝  i  love  you  too,  cami.  always,  and  thank  you  for  coming  to  tell  me―now  get  your  butt  over  here  for  some  cuddles,  please,  and  tell  me  everything  else  you  wanna  say.  ❞    because  while  that  was  likely  the  most  important,  she's  99%  certain  it  wasn't  all.  they're  similar  in  that  way.
