Song Review: James Taylor - “Something in the Way She Moves” (Live, Oct. 5, 1993)
James Taylor was a little raspy when he performed “Something in the Way She Moves” for the Aug. 11, 1994, broadcast of “Ohne Filer.”
But he still sounded fine.
Playing for a German studio audience on Oct. 5, 1993, Taylor presented the song from which George Harrison stole the title for the first line of his most-famous song. Taylor’s just pulled it from the vault for those of us who weren’t in Germany on either of the aforementioned dates.
And Taylor’s song, like Harrison’s, is a stone classic - a reminder that sometimes a hit can be an exceptional composition to boot. And Taylor’s less-than-perfect voice just makes this one stand out from the pack - which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

But Rin with her new identity decides to walk forward (with love comes pain#but to love at all was the greatest thing to her.) She cherishes her new memories and won't let it stop her from moving on#inbetween this time frame she meets isobu in her mind after he gains enough form within her (who is also without memories)#Now WAY LATER she meets Sukea who looks like he's about to panic and she tries to help (which uh doesnt work too well)#but then Sukea joins her on her travels (sending minato an letter through his summons of rin being alive and forgetting the mission)#they both wander around (he doesnt know how to bring up their past) but then obito appears (always at the wrong times)#At first glance he's pissed but then realizes that this isnt fake AND its both the worse thing yet best thing to ever happen#Now Rin thinks she made two new friends who give her feelings of warmth but they both also reminded her of something old she thinks#PS Minato and Kushina are freaking out back in the village but can't do anything about it (Obito hasn't acted on his plans yet so yes)

Give him a gun. A knife. Something to hit people. He's awesome.#Throw him off a building so he can land on a nice soft car - no thanks.#And were they just going to walk home (to Franks's)? Or like steal a car?#And there was a guy in the car they landed on/next to and nothing happened there. Was he just a bystander?#Does Matt have insurance? And does it cover his secret lair/costume room?#Did Karen drive straight from the airport?#And Frank just STARING at Karen is perfection. Like he needs to drink her in.#And THIS is the moment I thought Matt first noticed something was up with their heartbeats - just the way he swung around to Frank#I'm picturing Karen moving her seat forward to give Frank some more leg room. Her eyes flicking up to the rear view mirror as she tries not#to grin. Coz they're injured. And on the run. She can enjoy being home later.#And I imagine Matt's slowly assembling some thoughts here about why Frank didn't say Karen called... when that would be obvious.#But also being slightly distracted about now being homeless.#And the relief of Karen being back.

I think any fix-it mouthwashing au has to have the mandatory scenes of Curly either being able to blink again or speaking for the first time.

a little underappreciated detail about mirabel is how it’s likely she has an interest in horse riding! the only basis I have for this is a small scene in the movie but I love the implication of this being one of her hobbies!
we see how bruno approaches mirabel & alma on horseback but he’s uncoordinated and struggling (poor guy lmao) whilst this could be due to being in the walls for a decade I also think it’s because he doesn’t actually know much about horse riding as he’s never had an interest in it!
now compare this to mirabel who seems to know EXACTLY what she’s doing, she’s cool calm and collected and it almost comes naturally to her! I believe this is because she actually has an interest in horse riding! we already know she has many hobbies so I don’t think it’s far fetched to speculate this is another one!
also take in mind she is riding bare back here! notice how Bruno appears nervous (and is the whole ride back to the encanto) but alma is smiling she’s fully confident I believe this is because mirabels done this many times before!
also the way she does this jump so effortlessly!? and riding bareback is way harder too! Usually only experienced riders do this! so I think the fact mirabel 1. Isnt nervous at all about this and 2. alma isn’t nervous at all implies she’s experienced in some way
she just seems like she really knows what she’s doing and the horse doesn’t seem uncomfortable either! so yeah this is my mirabel is a horse rider theory!

An email. A brief text. Have Foggy excitedly brag to Matt and Karen that he has#something to show them tomorrow morning that is going to blow their minds#But no. They just expected that people would hang in there waiting for a point.#I have always loved the mystery solving aspect of this show and so I personally felt very disconnected with everything#for most of this season. So to just bring this up in the last 2 episodes feels a bit late.#But I do love them getting their sleuth on together. And I guess it makes sense if things changed now because Karen's back.#Like her departure paused everything and her arrival back is just as everything hits a new gear.#Matt wasn't meant to work this all out on his own.#I still think it wasn't worth Foggy's life but it's an interesting plot piece.#And I like Matt hyping Karen up at the beginning. Like no duh she's good at finding things - she was a reporter.#Matt should really invest in a coat so he isn't wandering around dressed like Daredevil in places that likely have cameras.#I'd say he could have borrowed one from Frank but... now I'm picturing that conversation and that seems a little farfetched.#Frank has like two outfits I doubt he has a coat he can lend out.#(The new gif limits are crazy FYI. I haven't done much giffing in years so it's so weird not trying to keep everything to less than 3MBs.)

Random update sorry everything is taking so long. I've paused Patreon and I'm working on various things, but some people have started to express concern for my safety/living status so just letting you know I am alive!
#between my divorce and moving and the fires closing the webtoon office#its just been a lot!#also im saying divorce even though we werent married#cause after 11 years 'breakup' doesnt quite cover it#he grew up with my family we saw him as a son and a brother so my whole family is very upset#meanwhile his mom pretended to forget my sisters name when she went over there to get me some of my stuff...#extremely upsetting#but it is what it is i am absolutely better off it just suuuuuucks!#got a therapist and shes nice and im like. lmfao. im like halfway through four episodes?#i keep doing lines and then getting overwhelmed an going to work on a different episode#so i am working im just not. finishing stuff...#justifying it in my brain like well this is work that has to get done at some point so as long as im doing SOMETHING#who cares what order it gets done in#so. working on it. im never gonna take on this much work again lmfao i fucked myself over majorly#i want all of these things done still#just gotta let myself do things uh.. one at a time.#not 5 at a time#cause then 5 things are getting done slowly and stressfully#which is just way worse#anyways. yeah im alive don't worry about me#just emotional and busy so im not drawing#delete later
