Not really sure how to word it but just had the thought so I’ll just say that canonically, killer expressing his emotions or appearing to have any at all seems to be something considered very out of character for him by the other characters around him.

Swap fully believes Killer is “emotionless,” because he heard so from Ink or Dream—one of them—but the difference is that Swap thinks he can make Killer “feel” again and thinks that’ll help or save Killer in anyway.

Not seeming to realize that Killer, even in Stage 2, already does have emotions; he just doesn’t express them often, they’re extremely rarely ever shown outwardly or felt intensely, he’s rarely ever motivated to do anything just because of an emotion besides maybe boredom, curiosity, and fascination (such as him liking Color sm that he’s able to even identify that he does, in fact, like Color, and yet that is not enough to trust Color or the emotions Color inspires from him—potentially feeling so bored he decides to explore this feeling of “like” for Color out of curiosity) and he cannot identify or understand what emotions he’s feeling unless they’re intense enough to be noticeable and it’s happened to him before (liking toriel.)

Wow...that's an amazing concept!

I never thought that an au like Something New could have its concept become the opposite of what it was originally and still remain disturbing.

I imagine that Sans starts to be afraid of changes in his routine and other day-to-day things. Like, if he's so used to living pacifist routes over and over again, it makes sense to think that he would get upset if one little thing was out of place (which makes me think that this Sans could be autistic, since this is a trait of an autistic person, but anyway-).

I also imagine him starting to be a people pleaser, wanting to help anyone at any time, valuing other people's needs more than his own. Even if these things harmed them or even humiliated him, he would be there for anyone in need.

Maybe his name could be "Pleaser"? Since he would be helping anyone at any time no matter how many times he has to do such an action? (Also because it rhymes with "Killer"?-)

Anyway...I guess that was all I wanted to talk-

evil something new be like:

frisk forces sans to do pacifist runs repeatedly with them out of a misguided belief that by keeping everyone happy forever, nobody can get hurt ever again. they also fear the uncertain future that comes with letting the Monsters roam the surface as opposed to keeping them Underground, in an endless cycle where they know they are in complete control over every little thing.

"It's scary, isn't it Sans? How unpredictable everything is up there... why don't we just stick to Something Old? Together."

Sans' SOUL starts changing - leaking an odd, golden liquid - which Frisk claims is DETERMINATION in its purest form - the same kind that allowed them to save the lost souls time and time again. It allows him to feel emotions more strongly, almost overwhelmingly so. It doesn't help that he was a hopeless nihilist before taking Frisk's offer. To the point where it sometimes feels like his emotions are consuming him whole, and that cracks are forming within his very SOUL.

But he can't stop helping the kid. They just want to keep everyone safe and happy. Even if everything in him is screaming at him not to do this, to find a way to force the kid to let everyone have their happily ever after and let go, he just can't bring himself to go against them for whatever reason. Something.. fundamental to his being keeps him from doing so.

something new au where the player tries to push differenet characters to thier limit like lets say toriel accideltaly killed a froggit but made to believe she did the right thing to protect her child toriel i guess is an easy one compared to other characters but if they managed to make sans thier partner in literal genocide who knows what they could do theres the whole thing with them changing sans' code they could do that to other characters as well anything to get them a new result
