I’ve made names for what the boys are. Matt is a ghost seeker (cause he can see ‘em), Lukas is a ghost whisperer (cause he can hear ‘em). And while I’m here, I love your art! And I don’t really care when you give me the content as long as you’re working on it and you’re doing at least decently.
That's so cute, especially because they are doing the exact opposite of what their title is ajhsjs Matt avoiding to look for ghosts and Lukas very much loudly declaring he wants to talk to them
And thank you!! I am chipping away at the pages very slowly, but slow and steady wins the race!
#ask#not gonna lie#Sky took over my life#I'm making really sweet friends there#someone helped me with the trials and were super chill about it too#they have the short cut glitches down to a science shddshj#honestly so cool I named them Cool Hat (for the very cool hat on their head I am very creative)

*gasp* Kotoko's violent she would have even attacked Amane A CHILD- Is the same as people going *gasp* Haruka hurt animals. We're ending trial two exactly how we started it with people acting like information we were expressedly told trial one is a revelation. That was definitely never ever alluded to or blatantly shown/stated at all.
This will never not be a fucking hilarious response. Each trial without fail someone somewhere literally goes- *gasp* The people we were told are murderers actually do bad things?! Like, yes, we're in the making bad choices, doing bad things, no- I don't want to change everyone else is the problem and I'm right series. Everyone in Milgram is like honestly a very self-serving inconsiderate individual with commitments to their personal beliefs first and foremost.
They're all the embodiment of did I ask for other opinions mind your business or support my choices- If doing either of those things is too difficult for you, then die. So the whole highlighting they did bad things and pearl clutching is like super funny. Like yeah, what a croc coming from me, the person who highlights them doing the bad things the most possibly. Yet just because someone does bad things doesn't make them a bad person, and just because someone thinks a person is good doesn't make them incapable of doing bad things.
This isn't some vague or callout either. Honestly, it's perfectly natural to see someone do something suspect and react that way to it. Yet staying on that knee-jerk sensationalized reaction long-term doesn't allow for progress. Yeah people are mad that a character did a bad thing now what can we learn from it, what can we do to make sure it doesn't happen again in the series, and more importantly what can we learn from the characters in the series mindsets that will ultimately allow us as people to avoid making similar mistakes.
The best thing about Kotoko's character is one hundred percent that despite for how messy her work is she still believes she's doing what's necessary, that she's helping, and others are just afraid of progress or too wrapped up in their morals to do the objectively right thing. She fully embodies the phrase it's messy work, but someone has to do it. A mindset anyone can fall into. It's easy to believe that whatever outcome you're working towards is more important than what you do to get there. That just because the outcome is good and well intended that even if the path is messy, it will work out in the end.
It's easy for people to ignore the tangible harm they cause others in pursuit of what they believe is a just cause. I feel like that's something that's been an integral part of Kotoko's character from the start. So, while yes, I personally love highlighting the means she uses to get to that outcome and the issues with those means. I fully recognize she is not just her means, and she isn't the only prisoner who has used the ends they were seeking to excuse the things they did to get there.
Like I enjoy Mikoto's character, I'd have to be a large ass hypocrite to ignore all the blatant similarities between the two of them. It's been a rather chill trial for me, and I've been enjoying it mostly because I'm not deep in the tags. Also, it is super funny to go full circle like this.
It really feels like we're getting into the thick of it now.

It's all good! I never expected to get a quick answer, as I sent so many questions and kind of knew you'd probably have to think about some of them. I was going to comment directly on the post, but character limit caught me, ugh.
I don't know why but I can imagine most angels kind of being a bit bitchy, so I totally understand Neil! I'd probably do the same lol I hope Andrew at some point just starts buying clothes for Neil, like Andrew one day just shows up with one bag in hand and just gives it to him, no justification whatsoever. But… if it's the clothes Neil died in, do they have blood? Or did they get magically cleaned? How physical is he when he's walking around invisible? Does he have to constantly dodge people when walking around? (That sounds so fucking annoying, I constantly have to do that myself) If somebody spilled sauce in whatever place he's supposed to be currently occupying, would he end up full of sauce? Do his clothes ever get dirty? I'm just envisioning him walking to a laundromat to put them to wash, and just hanging out invisible and shirtless while he's waiting for it to be done.
I'm dying to know what Incident you're talking about! I'm like "feeed me moreeee".
Aaahh, was the part "Unless there are any other semi-invisible people in it." in the last wip post a reference to Kevin's guardian angel?? Is it someone we know? Also also, is there somebody extra in the team (since they couldn't recruit Neil)?
I'm glad to help! I'm glad I can contribute a bit to the story, it makes me happy. I definitely get the blurry weeks too, even months tbh. I haven't been much better, but I'm alright. The best I can possibly be atm. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Webkinz, I didn't play that many games as a child. I had a Nintendo DS, tho. I miss my Super Mario Bros :') Anyway, just try to take one day at a time, you know? <3
Aw. I hate character limits so much. D: Like, come on man. Let me yap! But anywho. I'll be yapping under the cut! :) <3
You’re absolutely right about the other angels. Like, “Uh… this kid looks insane and also he’s talking to his charge? That’s… not allowed. We are not messing with him. No thank you.”
Also omg that would be really cute. Andrew just throwing a plastic bag in Neil's lap and sitting down beside him. Neil just: What’s this? | Andrew: I'm tired of looking at that hoodie so I got you one that's not ripped all to hell.
Neil’s clothes aren’t bloody, thankfully. (Oh my god. Can you imagine the night Andrew met Neil if he’d been covered with dried blood? That would’ve gone so differently. And badly. :’)) But no. His clothes had been miracled clean. Like, when he ‘woke up’ to the bright light, he was clean.
Neil doesn’t generally get out of the way. If a human walks through him, that’s their business. (They will experience a sudden chill, but Neil doesn’t know that he has that effect. And he doesn’t care. Lol.)
Ooh. That’s interesting. So let’s see… If, for example, Neil were sitting in the dining hall with Andrew and the monsters— invisibly of course— and someone spilled something on him… I think I’ve gotta say it would just… get all over him.
And Neil would accidentally pop into Andrew-mode because the shock of suddenly being doused with soda or soup or whatever would have him ‘letting go of the button’. Andrew would likely get choked, Neil might have to do this invisible heimlich maneuver… It would be… Not good. Hilarious, but not good.
So that’s why Neil typically chills on the roof whenever Andrew isn’t Traveling. Less of a chance to majorly fuck up if he’s not around all the humans. :)
Yes, Neil’s clothes sometimes feel dirty to him. He’s since learned to magic them clean. :) A lot of trial and error on his part. Luckily he doesn’t have to strip naked and wash his clothes in the dorm’s laundry room. Lmao. Naked angel vibing in the corner. Gkldjglk
Ahhh, I can’t tell you yet. TWT I’m sorry…
Also! Not really. Andrew was mainly just being a smart ass! :) He likes to do that. (We do know Kevy's angel.)
As for the team. No. Janie is still there, but otherwise they haven’t got any other new players. See, Kevin had picked out this striker for them to go see. Out in some tiny town in Arizona. But before they could fly out to see him play, his coach called Wymack to say he’d up and transferred suddenly with only a month left before graduation. Didn’t say where he was moving to or why he was leaving. Kevin was devastated that they’d lost this kid because he could tell he had potential. :((
<33333 I hope things get better soon for all of us. Also, Webkinz is a virtual pet game and I love it dearly. :) I have a couple of pets named Andreil and Kandrew on it right now. Haha.
Thanks for always being so lovely! <333 I love you dude!! <3

p:eg posting part 3!
Continuing from last night, where I spent a very normal amount of time playing pinball...
Very interesting how little Tozu shows up.
Room switch... surely this won't be relevant in the trial, right...? RIGHT??? (hey, at least Ulysses is there to record the switch, I guess?)
The laundry scene... I actually missed it in my playthrough bc I didn't agree to help Ingrid.... so I just watched on on the official yt lol.
Ingrid essentially calling Wolfgang a malewife was pretty funny, though. Also he doesn't know how to do laundry... no way CHARLES CUEVAS FROM DRDT REFERENCE??!?!?!??!?? CHARLES MENTIONED????!?? (im stupid)
Oh, so eva has desmond's secret, eloise has grace's, and mark has ingrid's. we now know 5 secrets in total, yay! I really hope this is like drdt where everyone's secret is revealed and we have to match them up or something.
also, the 1 on 1 meetings to talk about secrets reminds me of drdt. although wolfgang seems to have a more genuine reason for everyone to share their secrets that david. hopefully this cast is more chill about it, though. surely someone won't lure someone else in with a note to meet in the playground, right? :)
SUPER SLAM SISTERS LOL
Also eva liking video games is honestly so cute :D she's growing on me a lot, please don't die first chapter, eva..... even with the amount of character development and death flags you have....
VIDEO GAMES TOURNAMENT!! The cgs are so pretty! It's nice to see them having fun, and-
oh no, there's a blackout. yeah, someone's 100% dead.
genuinely, kinda smart how they navigated the darkness, going in a group/pairs means none of them could have run off and committed the murder while they were exploring
footsteps? surely that can't be the killer, that's way too obvious, right?
having no music for when kai and damon are in the hallway genuinely scared me a little bit...
uh oh, it's the bda, isn't it....
HUHHHHHHH. WHAT. WHAT??? WOLFGANG IS THE FIRST VICTIM????? I was NOT EXPEVINTG THAT BRO> I GENUINELY THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO BE LIKE. THE ANTAG. HUHHH. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS
and idk if the game explicitly stated the 3-person triggering the BDA rule, but if it does apply, that means the person who just ran out saw the body, and wasn't the killer.
anyways, now it's investigation time! I'll probably make one post for the investigation/my theories on who the killer is, and then one for the class trial.
man... I just can't believe wolfgang is dead. :')

Arknights Chapter XI - Return To Mist
So... Chapter Eleven is at its end and because I am desperate to have enough Originium I need to go through as many chapters in Adverse level as I can so this terrible Clown Fiesta of a skinset coming out tomorrow would be mine.
And conveniently enough, Dr. Kryo is here to help me out.
SPOILERS OF THE STORY AHEAD
youtube
Mandatory Opening video because it's too good to skip. I love re-watching these after I'm done with a chapter.
Me, frantically: "Kryo, Gummy is gonna be eaten." Kryo: "AH- UH- STALL WITH GRAVEL." Me: Stalls Gravel: *Gets devoured* Pinkie, returning out of nowhere: "I see Gravel has been used. They really took 'Eat dirt' to a next level."
---
I have had this woman ever since I started playing, and I have spent all this time almost not reading anything about her. My lass was in Kazimierz, she's here in Victoria with us now, she's a follower of the wendigo, a witch... and I still gape at the mention of her actual relations and experience.
She's a necromancer and a Sarkaz with the funkiest horns ever and just refuses to elaborate, uses her dark arts to heal as a mock of redemption... or something.
---
Me: "IS THAT--" Pinkie, amused, sarcastic, smug: "Yeah?" Me: "Now I don't care who it is."
---
HOLY HECK IT'S THE --- GOOD GOD OH MY GOODNESS AAAAaa--
Kal'tsit lore, Kal'tsit jumping in front of us to save me, to save Amiya little baby saw so much and she's sobbing limp in my arms after the wall crumbled underneath her tiny little bunny feet!!!
I am so sad oh my golly Mrs. Cat lady you are in the middle of all the drama, you are THE historical event you horrendeous fossil you, all the horrible things that happened happened because of you and now everybody is mad; what does your brain see that we do not, what sort of demons haunt you, whose voice do you hear that guides you, I need to know. ---
...
---
Pinkie: "Oh hey Kal'tsit, what are you doing there?" Me, who already knows: "I don't want to." Kryo: "Are you ready to hear the team comp? Oh, it's pre-set. Tell me when you're ready." Me: "... Let me go through the story first. I feel like I need to learn the context before I witness it." Pinkie: "Yes please." Me and Pinkie: *Reading* Kryo: *Falls asleep* Me: "Alright, we're done now. I'm ready for guidance." Kryo: "..." Me: "Kryo?" Kryo: "..." Pinkie: "Is he gone? I have time. Let's do it." Me: "... Alright." ---
Me: "I want to save her." Pinkie: "You can't stop a canon event." Me: "I don't want it to be a canon event."
Pinkie: "O, he's coming." Me: *Sad whimpering*
Pinkie: "Oh, here it comes." Kal'tsit: *Dies* Pinkie: "Now he's gonna leave. So long, losers. Refuses to elaborate."
---
Me: *Pogging* "It's the sword!" Pinkie: "Wow, now we have TWO swords that only work if the one destined and chosen by the sword is wielding it."
---
Man... My life in Operation 11-18, am I right?
---
Kryo: "Why is he panting in my ear? Dog, chill!" Me: "Thank you for your services... Both Hung's VA and Hung himself."
---
Me: "I don't know which one is worse, a level where the enemies are only three 'No Data' boxes, or the levels where there are three rows of them." Pinkie: "Hey, but you get to find out for yourself, right? It's the fun part of it. Trial and error." Me: "I don't want trial and error..." ---
Me: "What was the Steam Knight music called again?" Pinkie: "You don't need to know." Kryo: "Sexy Vampire music." Pinkie: "Damn it... It's Vampire Sex Music." Me: "Reverse-psychologises you into telling us the name because you think we got it wrong and you always need to be right." Pinkie: "... How dare you."
youtube
---
Me: "So, the Vampire Sex Music." Pinkie: "Yeah." Me: "..." Steam Knight:
---
Pinkie: "I wish he was someone we could get as a character one day. Imagine being able to deploy the Steam Knight." Me: "He's gorgeous. Look at that."
---
Me: *Squealing* "Look at her! Baba! Look at her tiny ears. Oh my god her teeny tail. I love her." Pinkie: "I remember when people were super surprised to just... see baby Siege out of nowhere."
---
Lord, this scene...
Absolutely insane.
---
First try, here we go-
OH NO
EBENHOLZ
...
Pinkie: "I think you need a better Hoshiguma." Me: "..." Kryo: "My Hoshiguma was lvl40 E2, I think hers (lvl25 E2) would be fine." Pinkie: "I struggled and mine was lvl60." Me: "Maybe because you didn't have Ebenholz E2 level 90." Pinkie: "WELL! You're right. You'd think that I'm missing the boss-killer on the Boss stage and would do something about him sooner, but I just haven't been able to around all the other things I need to do for this game." ---
Me and Kryo: *Finish the stage on the second try* Us: *Celebrating* Me: "It was so much easier than I expected. I've seen so many elaborate videos that are... Really nothing in comparison." Pinkie: "It seems I am the problem. Skill issue."

…You know, I think you’re really good at writing characters that are hard to truly hate. For example, Kei’s SUCH an asshole and I hate his guts, but also I’m wincing in sympathy and Eiji hasn’t even beaten the stuffing out of him yet. He’s fucked up, he was hurt and proceeded to hurt so many other people, and frankly I don’t think there’s any good way to deal with him.
The one I REALLY can’t stop thinking about is Riku: I’ve flipped my opinion on him twice now, and I’m still super undecided on him. On one hand, he’s charming and I really like him, and his apparent situation with his victim makes me feel bad for him. On the other hand… he killed somebody, and he doesn’t even feel bad. That’s probably not good! Back to the first hand, his potential guilty punishment made me feel SO BAD for voting him guilty, but voting him innocent might have made him pull a Mu, and I don’t know which result is worse. (Doesn’t help that I have no idea if character death is a risk here. I don’t want anybody to die!)
I’m also VERY concerned for Eiji: he seems to be headed towards a He Who Fights Monsters situation, and I like him a lot and don’t want to see him turn into his brother (or his parents, who I’m pretty sure were a lot like Kei). I want him to be better but I know he won’t be, because he just completely refuses to chill out, at least for now. (I think Kei might have been spot-on about Eiji mimicking him, if maybe unconsciously.)
Anyways, you have my heart in your hands and you’re squeezing it like a stress ball. I can’t wait to see how bad this gets. Have a nice day!
thank you so much omg this made me so happy 😭😭💖
i'm very glad to hear that you think i'm good at writing characters who are hard to hate! it means i'm doing my job well, hehe. i was very worried that a lot of my ocs will be too scary or even "evil" for milgram, since it's more about "morally gray" characters, but now that i understand and know my ocs better, i'm starting to feel sorry for them as well.
kei is a very interesting character for me to write, because it's clear that he had a dark past, no, actually, he was still committing crimes before he even came to milgram, but there's still like zero information about his murder (even compared to the more "mysterious" characters, like reina). sure, he will tell you everything about how he used to take photos of his "boss"'s poor victims and how much he enjoyed it, but nope, he won't tell you anything about his victim(s)! and also, i try my best not to make him too sympathetic, siince i want him to stay as someone who was (and still is) a horrible person who i still can't help but feel sorry for (and for good reasons). i still feel like there's a high chance of him being voted innocent in season 2.
riku is one of the most fun characters for me to write, that's for sure! he's very friendly and nice, and unlike kei, he actually gives off very warm vibes and he doesn't appear that suspicious at first. tbh i think riku is one of the characters who wouldn't get better no matter what verdict he gets, but also.. i don't think he will start acting as bad as muu after being voted innocent? that's for one of the other prisoners to do however, voting him innocent means basically saying that what he did was right and.. his crime wasn't pretty and the way he thinks about it is very bad, so yeah..
oh, eiji is going to change a lot as a character in season 2! you see, when you have two guards with very different opinions about the prisoners and one of them manages to "win" (seven innocent prisoners vs three guilty prisoners).. it actually does change the relationship between them and they start acting different as well. so who knows, maybe eiji will start thinking that he was wrong, but not in a "hey, maybe my punishments shouldn't be so brutal" way and more in a "oh, so you're saying i'm not allowed to be angry? i'm not allowed to want revenge?" way. you'll see what i mean in the "the end of the first trial" post. and yes, fun fact: sanada brothers actually act a lot like each other! it's not just about eiji acting like kei (even if it's not on purpose), but also about kei acting like eiji (his younger self, to be more exact), so.. do with that information what you will :)
(and about character death: eiji does think that everyone here deserves to die, but he won't actually kill anyone until the third trial. he hates murderers, sure, but he will follow the rules and he will try his best to be patient. it doesn't mean that they can't have a near-death experience or be extremely close to dying though.)
#again thank you sm for sending this!#❔answering asks ❔#🍓prisoner 005: sanada kei 🍓#🎸prisoner 009: kuroki riku 🎸#🗡️guard 001: sanada eiji 🗡️

Joyrider
(Welcome to another warm-up writing piece. cw for mild body horror)
...
The mall food court doubled rather nicely as a battle-dome.
It fit the bill: a flat and circular arena, crowned two-stories up by a hemisphere of glass windows which lapsed iridescent in the maelstrom of ecto-fire.
Spectator chairs sat empty, hastily shoved back and knocked over by the Amity Park mall patrons who knew to leg it at the first sound of explosions and the first sign of the atmosphere tipping dark. Admittedly, the patron evacuation took longer than Danny anticipated, and he backed himself into a corner playing defense for the 50 some-odd people who, worn-out on the every-day mundanity of ghost alarms, took their time gathering belongings, or shutting off burners, or working in a few last bites of a burger.
So with the crowd gone and the stage their own, Danny found himself pressed back against a vat of french fry oil, hands braced against the handle of a broom he held out horizontally, which the ghost gripped with equal measure and shoved her full weight against.
“Oh, why not take a little dip, Ghost Boy? I hear the water’s nice.”
“No thanks,” Danny answered, shoving harder. “I never was much of a hot tub guy. You on the other hand—”
Danny set a foot forward and pivoted, body fueling the torque as he spun the broom, and tore the ghost with him, a pirouette to swap their spots and jam the ghost back-pressed to the fryer.
“—you seem like you’d like it hot.”
The ghost barked a laugh, jaw stretching lower and loose than Danny was comfortable with.
“Ha! You sure? Not very heroic of you to deep fry this girl I’m possessing.”
Danny faltered. His grip slipped. His blood chilled to ice as the information clicked in place – as he recognized the sensation of a ghost talking through someone. This wasn’t the ghost’s own form. This was some girl. How had he not felt—
A blast took him by the ribs. Danny doubled over, immediately kicked back. A foot found contact with his face, driving him down, until the girl’s wet and slippery fingers pinned him down by the wrists.
Danny strained. He could pivot his wrist a fraction of an inch left or right, but he could not break the hold.
“Get off me!”
And a voice answered from behind him.
“I can help with that.”
Danny craned his neck. Upside down, vantage point from the floor, he registered Sam’s combat boots slam into focus. She bent to one knee, a bazooka locked on the other. It charged, whined, and erupted with an explosion of green light.
The ghost shrieked. It took only an instant of resistance before the ghost tore cleanly from the girl possessed.
“Now if you don’t mind me—” Tucker, by the voice. Danny heard the whine of a Fenton Thermos heating up. “—I’d officially like to change my order from fries to soup.”
The beam burst forth, and the writhing, shrieking, yelping form of the exorcised ghost clawed and scratched in Danny’s direction before the thermos consumed her in full.
“Really? ‘Fries to soup’? Even Danny can do better than that.”
“Hey,” Danny answered.
“I was thinking on my feet, Sam. I didn’t hear any witty quips from you.”
The conversation fell away from Danny’s focus as the full human weight of the possessed girl dropped down on him. Gently, Danny gripped her by the shoulder, lifting her as he pushed himself into a sitting position.
“Your parents’ anti-possession gear is getting good. I don’t think I’ve seen an exorcism work that quickly.” Sam’s voice, now at his side. Danny glanced over, finding her kneeling beside him. “Is she hurt?”
Danny gave the girl a once-over. She was pale, cold, lips seeping blue. A mottled, blackish bruise spread across her temple, partially hidden beneath loose red bangs.
“I don’t… totally know. I didn’t land any hits on her, thankfully. But who knows what that ghost might have done. We should call an ambulance.”
“On it,” Tucker, from behind.
“Do you… do you think the bazooka might have hurt her?” Sam asked.
Danny shook his head. “Mom and Dad have blasted each other with that thing a hundred times. Dad got himself possessed by the box ghost for a trial run. It doesn’t hurt people. …Maybe she just needs a minute.”
“Lay her down, maybe?”
“Good idea.”
Danny eased forward, careful in his movements. Something about his grip slipped, sliding loose and rolling forward, and she fell unceremoniously from his arms, shoulder knocking ground as she lay there partially turned on her side.
“Danny!”
“Sorry! I didn’t—something slipped!”
“Well don’t leave her like—” Sam gripped a hand to the girl’s shoulder, weight behind her wrist to roll the girl fully onto her back. Sam’s hand froze, and then yanked away.
“What?” Danny asked.
“That didn’t feel right.” Sam only stared down, her hand hovering, twitching in increments. “Way too cold… and loose.”
“Loose?”
“Danny, look at her hands. What’s wrong with her hands?”
Danny looked. The skin stretched and wrapped the bones of her fingers as if rotated partway around. Her fingernails sat off-center, twisted around and bunched up like a glove. Sam’s hand came back into view, and she clamped it to the girl’s wrist.
“It’s like jelly. Danny it’s like jelly. Why is she this cold? Danny, I don’t think she’s—”
Something new caught Danny’s eye, a purple discoloration peeking out from the bottom ruffles of the girl’s shirt. His hands seemed to move on their own as he reached down, and pinched the bottom of her shirt, and pulled it back.
Black bruising consumed her torso, caving deep and bloating, pruning around the trails of heavy stitching that ran along the tracks of surgical cuts carving through her abdomen.
Danny yanked his hand away as if burned.
“Danny, she’s not breathing.”
The rest of Danny’s thoughts drowned in the swelling wail of the approaching ambulance siren.
…
Outside the Fenton Portal, green lighting doused the only part of Danny’s form not hidden in shadow, and danced with the fire of his glowing green eyes. Danny uncapped the thermos in his hand, and he trailed his thumb along the eject switch.
A new consuming green light belted forth, lasting only a moment until it vanished with a twin-braided ghost in its wake. The ghost blinked, smoothing over her hair and pulling the ends of her braids over her shoulders.
“Oh, it’s the Ghost Boy again. I thought you’d just throw me back in the Ghost Zone. Are you interested in a round 2?”
“No, not interested,” Danny answered, tone colder than ice.
“Yeesh, you’re quite sour. No more puns?”
“Why were you possessing that girl?”
“Hmm?”
“Why were you possessing her?”
The ghost blinked, green portal light mixing murkily with her purple eyes. “No particular reason. It was just a joyride.”
“A joyr—she was dead.”
Another blink. “Yeah I know. She was sitting in the morgue. She was in like a car crash or something and they already took all her organs. They didn’t need her. And I was gonna give her back, but you had to go and make it a whole thing.” The girl swooped forward, eyes wide and roving over Danny. “You seem mad. Wanna call a truce?” She stuck a hand forward. “I’m Melissa, by the way.”
Danny jolted, eyes flashing brighter. “No, you’re not. That girl was Melissa.”
“Oh for real?” Melissa let out a chuckle. “Crazy coincidence. I like don’t even know that many Melissas. Anyway truce?”
“No.” Danny ran his fingers through his hair. “You were possessing the body of a dead girl and you made me fight her! Don’t you see how that’s—that’s so—how fucked up—that you’d even—”
“Well I mean, I didn’t make you fight me. You made that happen. I was minding my business.”
“Doing what?”
“Shopping. Why else would I take a body for a joyride? I stole some cute clothes to wear. Stole some food to eat. Oh! That outfit I was wearing when we were fighting? Yeah I picked that out. She was in like a hospital gown when I found her. Super cute improvement right?”
An ectoblast sounded and connected with the wall behind Melissa, missing her a foot to the right. Danny’s hand glowed, and his eyes focused with a razor sharpness.
“Stop talking like that, okay? It’s pissing me off. I need you to tell me you know this was fucked up.”
Melissa put a finger to her chin. “I mean I guess stealing is kinda wrong. They were all like, big box corporate stores don’t worry.”
“The. Dead. Body.”
And Melissa fell silent a moment, violet eyes probing deep into Danny’s before widening. “Oh. Oh you’re like for-real mad about that. Like actually. I thought you were like, making an ironic joke.”
“Why the hell would I be joking about this??”
Melissa cocked her head to the side. “Well because you’re doing it too, duh. Like, duh.”
A huff of air cut against Danny’s teeth, an involuntary noise, incredulous, a guffaw he didn’t consciously make. The jelly sensation of decomposing flesh was back under his fingers. “I am not—would never—I’ve never even seen a dead body before this thing with you and I’d never in a million years even think for even a fucking second that I’d want to possess a dead body. What’s wrong with you?!”
Melissa bobbed a little in the air, ends of her braids trailing over the straps of her ephemeral sundress. “See this is why I really can’t tell if you’re joking or not. What are you talking about? You’re doing it right now.” She clasped her hands behind her back. “The black-haired boy whose corpse you’re possessing. Why are you allowed to do it?”
Danny froze. He laughed, heavy, with an uncomfortable force. “Myself, you mean? I’m not possessing myself. I am myself. I’m a half-ghost.”
Melissa met his laugh. “Oh what? No way like, that’s your own corpse? How’d you even get back to it in time? That’s crazy lucky like you must have died right near a portal or something.”
An involuntary shiver traced down Danny’s spine.
“…I’m not dead.” His eyes shifted around, and Danny dropped to the floor. He set a hand against the wall, throwing on the lights to the Fenton basement. Rings swept around his form, green iridescent eyes sweeping blue, white hair seeping black. “Look. Literally look at me. I’m not dead.”
And Melissa swooped closer. She set a finger to her bottom lip and hovered a foot in front of Danny, drinking him in. She swept to the side, like a swimmer in the water, sweeping around him in a full arc. She edged closer and pinched her fingers against the exposed skin on Danny’s arm. He flinched.
“Oh wow there’s like, not even any decay or anything. Your human brain even feels like it’s working it’s all like, electro-magnety. How long were you dead before you got back to your body?”
“I didn’t die.”
“Then what did happen?”
“I got shocked by the Fenton Portal, okay? It was just a lab accident and it gave me powers.”
“Oh. Oh.” Melissa’s eyes shot wide. “Oh you didn’t die near a portal… You died in a portal. You didn’t even have to get back to find your body at all. You must have appeared like practically on top of your own body. That’s crazy lucky. That’s so lucky. Your body was like, probably only dead a microsecond before you hopped back in. No wonder it’s so well-preserved.”
Danny swatted her away. “You’re not listening to me.”
“You’re not listening to me.” Melissa floated backwards. “What do you think is more likely? A bajillion ecto-volts somehow gave you superpowers that exactly mirror everything a regular dead ghost can do? …Or you died, and became a regular old ghost, and did what any regular old ghost can do, which is possess a freshly-dead dead body?”
“…I’m half-ghost,” Danny answered, human heart pounding in his chest. “I know what I am.”
Melissa bobbed back, feet pointed backwards until the soles of her feet skimmed the matrix of the portal. “I see you’ve made up your mind. That’s alright. But it was still pretty mean of you to accuse me like a big hypocrite like that.”
“I’ll destroy you if you ever try that again.”
“Oh I’ll try asking permission next time okay? Promise.” Melissa’s feet sank into the surface of the portal. “But, before I go, I’ve just got one more question to leave you with.”
“Go.”
“Why should a lethal accident do anything other than kill you?”
“Go.”
“Maybe you’ll have an answer for me next time I see you. Byeee!”
A spark of white erupted from the portal, consuming, absorbing, and fizzling out as Melissa’s form vanished into the ether beyond.
…
“Hey! Yo! Danny, come check this out!”
Danny rounded the stairs, unsocked feet creaking the floorboards with each step. Danny yawned, and blinked, and rubbed at his bruised eyes with the sleeve of his pajama top.
“Still asleep? That’s fine! You don’t have to do anything. Just come over here and look at what your old pop’s been up to.”
Danny entered the living room, where Jack sat hunched on the couch surrounded by an arsenal of power tools, rags, oil, soldering equipment, and scrap metal. From beside him he hefted a bazooka into view.
“This is the Fentonzooka 3.2.17. Amped up and equipped with all the latest in ghost-busting and human-saving technology.”
Danny blinked. “3.2.17?”
“Yep. This baby’s got 17 bug patches, tweaks, and internal improvements since the 3.2.0. The 3.2.0 was the advent of the snack compartment in the side. Look!” Jack spun a dial, revealing a chamber half-filled with pistachios.
Danny only stared.
Jack hefted the bazooka onto his shoulder. “Even better, Mads and I finally got rid of the last little sting humans feel when it’s fired. It’s now completely 100% harmless to humans. It feels like the breeze from a standing fan when it hits ya.” Jack turned, and he aimed the barrel at Danny. “Wanna try it out?”
Danny stood, and Danny stared, and Danny said nothing.
What might happen when it hit him?
Would it hit like the gentle breeze of a fan? Wash over him like air conditioning? Tingle cool and pleasant against his human fingers, human face, human skin?
Would it do something else?
Why should a lethal accident do anything other than kill you?
Jack eased the bazooka a bit off center, pulling his eyes away from the sight. He stared directly at Danny. “Danny?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you want to try it out?”
Danny stood.
Danny stared.
Danny wondered if he’d have an answer for Melissa the next time he saw her.

Hey hi this is... high-key ridiculous of me, but! How? Do? Friends work in genshin? I haven't even co-oped yet, like at all, cus I don't understand the like. The etiquette? Obviously there's a bunch of tiktoks where some Childe main joins worlds to leave partial lyrics and see what happens and thats funny and all but what? Is the done thing here? I'd like to be able to do co-op, my absurd social anxiety aside, cus it seems like a lot of fun but I can't figure out the... rules for lack of a distinctly better term djdjdn not to be cripplingly socially inept but you've got a bunch of friends on genshin and you've shared your uid so people can add you so clearly you know how this works and so like. Oh my god. *pinches the bridge of my nose* this is genuinely the stupidest ask I've ever sent istg.
TLDR: how do friends and co-oping work in genshin cus I am entirely too skittish to find out via trial and error and you seem to know what you're doing djdhsksl
this not a stupid thing to ask, dont worry!! i can understand your question!
ok so basically, in coop/with friends you can:
join low level players and help them with progress/bosses/farming/etc. sometimes you find people in the coop list that literally have "need help with bosses" or anything similar in their signatures so theyre actually hoping for someone to join and help them out! i have a few low level friends and they often ask me for help which is v fun, i really enjoy helping people out
ask friends or join strangers if you need any mats you ran out! my friends ask me whenever they need smth if they can pick that in my world and if i dont need those mats myself, theyre free to pick. obv the other way around too; if i need smth (for example when i needed dandelion seeds back then) i just ask friends or even here. if you join strangers and are in need of mats, its better to ask them first if you can pick those!
farm together with friends! i tend to farm with irl friends or my close friends on here for artifacts/bosses; for me its more fun to do that together, especially if all of you need the same thing (shared pain over a shitty artifact is half the pain, as a saying goes ajsbsb) you can also coop in domains w random people, the game will match you up with whoever needs to run the same domain! ive never tried it (like i said, i usually farm alone or with friends) but yea, thats also an option if youre bored farming alone or need help and wanna play with others
do whatever you want w your friends, like mini concerts or photoshootings AHHA YEP! my best friend and i sometimes do little photoshootings with our ships (since u cant really take pics of two of your characters jasbc); i have really cute pics of our zhongli and childe on the bridge under the tree in the harbor <3 (he often neglects his childe, esp now that he finally got his fav boys together so i guess i need a new childe AKJBCKAJ </3)
jon others and just-- chill and chat? i had a xiao come in my world (they were the first random stranger i ever accepted bc i was also super anxious about ppl joining) and they didnt need anything, they just wanted to chill. turned out they just joined random peoples worlds and asked them about their current fav song (mine was teardrops by bmth, btw HAH i managed to share a song with yall) and turned out we share the same music taste so we ended up running around, fighting a little and chatting about fav songs and art and got super excited over stuff and boom, were friends now HAHAH (it was a really nice first coop w strangers experience for me!) but yea, never did that myself, i guess most people who dont mind/shy away from talking to others enjoy just popping in and have a chat, they just have to find the right people who are up for that i think ahbhjhja
i threw in a few things i do or experienced as some kind of example but yea! there are not really any rules; just talk to people! i think many people tend to kick others if they join their world and then just pick mats or do whatever without even a greeting or asking or anything, which is understandable
also: if it helps, depending on your server we can play together too and you can see how its like? on EU im used to help others and on america i absolutely dont mind getting help with exploration or anything since im so behind with everything and it can get a bit boring lmfao
#coop/w friends is super fun but ofc it can also get a bit weird at times. if you encounter weird ppl just leave the world or kick them out#your comfort is important esp if youre already socially anxious so dont force yourself to anything!#hope this somehow answered your question i hope i didnt misunderstand it or anyhting akjbs#myountalk#reply

I Have Elected to Ignore Midnight's Death
Polarmare's First Day
It was the first year Kenta would be teaching at U.A. A longtime friend of hers requested to take up the open teaching position, and who was Polarmare going to deny a change of scenery?
Besides, her sister lived in Japan and was elated to know that the Fuyuhito sisters were getting back together so that was the housing situation solved in under five minutes.
U.A. paid good as well which was good for a single mother like Kenta. She adored Seko with all her heart from the first time they met in Japan two years ago when she saved him from prison. Sure the paperwork was a bitch, but Seko loved the opportunity to meet so many different heroes.
So they packed their bags, and headed off to Japan where she was reunited with her sister.
The day after they arrived she made sure her paperwork was sorted by the Hero Safety Commission, then made sure to pick up Seko for her tour at UA.
There she met Nezu, who seemed just as crazy has he had been over the phone and her fellow coworkers.
She took an instant liking to Powerloader and Snipe as they bonded over creating weapons. Vlad King and Ectoplasm seemed chill too, and it was nice to see other dedicated teachers.
Midnight was cheering about another woman on the staff, though seemed to deflate when Kenta snipped her sexual flirting at the bud.
Present Mic was loud, but reminded Kenta of a friend in America so the familiarity was nice.
It was interesting meeting All Might after seeing his last stand on the news, but Kenta hoped they would be able to get along even if he seemed like a bumbling mess half of the time.
Recovery Girl was alright, a bit jaded but it was hard to find a hero so old who wasn't.
Aizawa seemed like someone she needed to keep her eye on, his knee jerk reaction upon learning she was an international hero was hostility while he worked under the impression she was a spotlight hero.
With a swing of her axe, and a clarification of the fact she was a Neighborhood Hero who worked mostly under Rescue and Underground terms, he simmered down real quick.
The General Ed teachers seemed chill, and Kenta hoped she would be able to grab some drinks with them after a long day of work.
Seko loved every one of the them, and was excited by the prospect of their quirks though Kenta made sure to cover his eyes and ears whenever Midnight was in the room.
After final arrangements with Nezu, she was given the dates of the entrance exams. The Fuyuhito family left in good spirits.
The day of the Management Entrance Exam came around, and Kenta came in her formal hero uniform. She took a seat beside Snipe and Powerloader, and was introduced as Polarmare.
Polarmare watched as potential students came in to present one by one, and she made notes. At the end of the day after helping the potential support students present Polarmare was happy with her picks.
It wasn't over though as she spent a while in her new office she looked at each students history, made a few calls, and at the end picked out a good sixty for the first years.
Sixty may seem extreme, but there were many parts of management and business so they wouldn't all be in one class.
She went home to tend to her son, and went to see the sights with her family.
The day of the hero entrance exams arrived, and Polarmare took a seat in the viewing room. She studied the motions of the potential students, their interactions, and was pleasantly surprised to see Nezu took her suggestion of making Rescue Points public and hiding a new type of points known as Cooperation Points.
The big scale robot had been toned down a bit, and at the end Polarmare had a few qualms but didn't have any outward complaints.
Eventually, the first day of the school year came around and Polarmare did her introductory presentation. She explained each branch of management and business, the schedules, and sent them on a tour with Snipe of the business building.
While that occured, she had a meeting with the votes on representatives and outlined what she expected of each of them. She was pleasantly surprised to find them ready to meet the challenge, and was off once again.
She let the students spend the first week exploring the changes she made, and getting used the renovated building. She didn't see the need to challenge them too much considering they were in a new environment.
At the end of the day, Polarmare made her way to the Conference Room and took her place. The first thing she noticed was a lack of Gen Ed teachers present, which concerned her.
Snipe and Powerloader seemed surprised to see her there, and it was Snipe who leaned over.
"The Management teacher usually doesn't come to these meetings as they center primarily around the hero course."
Polarmare took in the words before responding, "Business and Management is a huge part of heroics so I believe I should be present for any meetings regarding the Hero Course."
Snipe nodded, and straightened back up.
After a couple more looks, the rest of the teachers settled down to prepare the meeting.
Nezu got up on his little podium, and smiled. "Welcome to the first hero course meeting of the year. Since we have a new teacher with us this year, I would love to hear her thoughts on how she plans on interacting with the hero course."
"First, may I record the meeting?" Polarmare asked. "I work better if I have audio to listen to afterwards."
A few of the teachers gave each other looks, but Nezu nodded.
Polarmare tapped her recorder before she stood up. "I plan on calling the second year students to the business building to discuss their media presence. With permission from you and their gaurdians, I want to make sure they have profiles set up on Hero Watch. It would be good for them to interact with other heroes, and it will open internship and work study opportunities for them."
Nezu hummed, "Permission granted, you may start as soon as you can."
"Once I get their gaurdains approval," Polarmare resaid with a firm stare. "I shall send out the email tonight, and set up conferences if needed."
Polarmare noticed some of the teachers looking at her in confusion, but she made her notes.
The rest of the teachers went around, and Polarmare made her notes. Admittedly more on their body language then what they have to say.
The last person to talk was Aizawa. He stood up and gathered a couple of papers.
"All of the expulsion forms have been filled out." Aizawa passed them around towards Nezu.
Polarmare slammed down her hand before they could be passed the final length. She turned them over to look through them.
"Polarmare, may I ask what you are doing?" Aizawa asked through gritted teeth.
"You know Eraserhead, this seems quite light for expulsion papers. I see a distinct lack of reference to any evidence or record of you meeting with the student to discuss the expulsion."
"What are you talking about?" Aizawa asked.
"According to the Student Rights, the student should be made aware of their expulsion with any evidence before they are expelled." Polarmare looked over to Aizawa, "I assume this is the first time Nezu has seen these, so I also assume he has been expelling students based on your word without a meeting or evidence."
Aizawa stared Polarmare down, "U.A. does not work on the regular rules schools are legally allowed to abide by."
Polarmare shifted the papers in her hand, "Actually, Student Rights apply to all schools. If this is the case, and you have been expelling like this, it is a miracle you haven't been sued."
"Nezu handles the lawsuits," Snipe said.
"Ah, that explains that. Let me clarify, it is a miracle that someone who outranks you hasn't caught on and sued you." Polarmare adjusted her posture, "Now what is your reasoning?"
"The students show a lack of potential," Aizawa stated matter of factly.
Polarmare raised an eyebrow, and waved her hand. "And?"
"What more is there to say?"
Polarmare sighed deeply. "Tell me Eraserhead, how do you measure a concept as abstract as 'Potential'."
"A series of trials," Aizawa stated.
"Yeah, I saw those trials being performed. I noticed that they are all physical. Are you saying you are measuring potential on how physically experienced your students are?"
Midnight giggled.
Polarmare shot a glare before turning back to Aizawa, "I am going to look through these students and read out loud their quirks."
"This is uneccesary-"
"Marinette, this quirk allows the user to control those with human intelligence or faux human intelligence like robots as though they are simply puppets. Hmm, I don't see how this could apply to something like a grip test or ball throw. Though this could be a way to give heroes confidence or maybe even to control villains. This student sounds like a great Underground or Neighborhood Hero if they so desired.
"That is only-"
"Oh! Gnaw. This one is interesting. This quirk gives the user sharp appendages as long as they are made out of keratin on some level. Can't think of how this would help a sit-up, but imagine there was a super strong net that could be useful. This student sounds like an amazing Rescue Hero if they so desired."
"Two-"
"Slowdown, a quirk that allows the user to slow down anything that is moving. That is amazing on its own, and if they know how to dismantle robots in the time allowed they have to be some sort of mechanical genius! They could go down any hero path they wanted and he so successful. A shame I can't think of how this would help on any trials unless they were sabotaging others. Were they sabotaging others?"
"No," Aizawa said.
"This is a bad trend Eraserhead," Polarmare warned. "Of course if you insist on wanting to expell them, then why don't you allow me work out some private study transfers. I know what, like five? Ten? Twenty? Probably like something hundred pros who are on the waiting list that would love to work with some of these quirks."
Aizawa glared at her.
"Then again why is there such a focus on their quirks? Oh! I know, it is because you don't care how they act if Mineta and Bakugou is anything to go by." Polarmare said. "Don't think I've noticed the large amount of tapes and complaints filled out regarding them."
Polarmare looked up at Aizawa, "I'm just saying there is some good evidence here to create a good quirk discrimination and abuse of power case. Unfortunately for you, I happen to be friends with a lot of lawyers and reporters who don't exactly love UA and would love to get their hands on this information."
"Nezu!" Aizawa shouted.
Nezu who was blankly smiling throughout the whole exchange looked at Aizawa. "What? She has a point, and we can not take another hit like this to our reputation. Polarmare you have permission to disband the expulsions."
"Thank you."
"Oh shit," Present Mic muttered but it was audible due to the complete silence of the room."
"With that, I believe this meeting shall be adjourned. I employ you all to spend some times to reevaluate your students."
Polarmare collected her notes, and looked over the expulsion sheets. She wasn't lying before, she was sure she could find some good mentors for these students depending on what they want to do. She'll have to add those meetings to her calendar. Maybe Seko had some ideas, and her sister would probably snatch up one of th-
Something ling and grey wrapped around her mid section, and she didn't have to turn around to know who it was.
"Eraserhead, what do I owe the pleasure?" She turned her head to see his eyes aflame with red.
"I have been managing my class like this for years, and I do not appreciate you coming in here and dictating what I can and can not do."
"I do not dictate it, the law does." Polarmare sighed as she looked at his eyes. "Cancelling my quirk is useless considering it isn't and offensive quirk," She pointed out.
Aizawa let his capture scarf wrap back around his neck as he blinked. He stared at her with narrowed eyes.
"Bakugou is a perfectly fine student, and I do not see why you brought him up-"
"The boy has a record of telling people to die, I don't care if it is his thing it fucks with your head. Not to mention the physical assault and berating he does, because unlike you I read the complaints."
"The complaints are useless, I judge my students without any prior knowledge."
Polarmare raised an eyebrow, "Does that include background checks because I thought UA prided themselves on those."
Aizawa gritted his teeth.
"If that is all, I need to get home to my family."

Wives of Arkadia : A Spacekru Sisters AU / Shopping Spree : As a private investigator, Echo’s ability to track people is second to none, always managing to clock her target and bring them into the court house to stand trial, but even with her keen sense it was almost impossible to keep tabs on the ever elusive Emori Murphy these days. Finding a day to just chill or do something fun together in both their schedules was like trying to find a contact lens in a pool, but finally, they landed on a blank Friday on the calendar. Emori, wanting to spoil her, took Echo into Polis on a trip to the mall after getting off at work, splurging on things for Echo and Raven’s upcoming honeymoon in Rome.
At first, Echo was decidedly against Emori opening up her wallet for her sake, but Emori completely insisted, reassuring her sister it would barely put a dent in her debit card. Echo relented, giving Emori free reign as they passed through shop after shop, buying whatever their hearts desired until they tired and needed to recuperate in the food court.
“It always throws me off whenever I see you in your power suit, Emori. You look damn near unrecognizable,” Echo looks over her shoulder at Emori, stocking up on bottled water, and earns a laugh from Emori in the process when she sees Echo wearing her new accessories fresh out of the bag with the tags still on.
“Well, I gotta look the part, y’know. Half the battle is in the presentation,” Emori explains, tearing a chicken tender in half, dipping it into her favourite spicy chipotle sauce and pops it into her mouth, savoring the immediate heat and the subsequent afterburn on her tongue.
“What’s got you so busy these days because Raven and I barely see you. After our wedding, you just dropped off the grid.”
“My firm’s helping an up and coming tech company that’s trying to compete with Franko’s Infinity Corporation, meaning I’m having to log in a lot of hours at the office. There’s big money involved and it’s putting so much pressure on my team, but we’re resilient and know when to strike the hardest. I’m not gonna let Becca intimidate us whatsoever,” Emori takes a sip of her Sprite, displaying an air of confidence that was truly enviable.
“Speaking of big money, how’s life living with the elite in Sanctum Hills? I still can’t believe I know someone who lives there,” Echo plants herself across from Emori, settling back into her spot.
“It’s a sort of monkey’s paw kinda situation. Yeah, John and I are living in luxury with a near limitless amount of cash, but at the same time, it’s so competitive and petty over there. There’s this one heinous bitch named Josie who won’t stop ogling and flirting with my husband at the monthly potlucks she insists everyone take part in. She keeps using keywords like ‘upgrading’ around him, implying he should get a divorce, and it makes my skin crawl. Honestly, it makes me miss the days when we used to live in the roughest parts of Polis. At least when you lived there people were upfront about hating your guts. However, the price for admission is more than worth it and I can’t complain too much because I have a big fuckin’ mansion with a big fuckin’ pool and a big fuckin’ yacht.”
“Now THERE’S the bad bitch I met in college! You earned that castle of yours!” Echo throws her her back laughing, making the fries in her hand bounce from side to side, and Emori breaks out into a full on grin.
“I am so tempted to smuggle myself into your suitcase when you leave because I’m in desperate need of a vacation after this project is done and dusted. All that’s left is the final preparations and we can submit it...so close and yet so far,” Emori vents away to a responsive Echo, allowing her sister the chance to say her piece.
Time passes by, and eventually Emori drives Echo back to her and Raven’s place, saying a quick hello to Raven before heading back home.
“How was the shopping trip? Emori spoil you rotten as usual?” Raven presses a quick kiss on Echo’s lips and helps her bring in her bags into their house, Echo wrapping her arm around Raven’s waist as they enter.
“I tried telling her not to, but she doubled down, so I couldn’t say no. Emori’s super cute that way.”
The moment they finish packing all of Echo’s new things away, Raven and Echo settle onto their couch, continuing talking about this, that, and so many other things, although constantly circling back to their honeymoon.
“So, think we’re all prepared for Rome now, Mrs. Reyes?” Raven asks, kissing the back of Echo’s hand, peering up into her warm, honey brown eyes, getting soothed by the sound of her wife’s heartbeat.
“You should be asking if Rome is ready for us.”

My Experience with the Covid Vaccine
Hi Everyone! I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about my experience with the Covid vaccine and I figured it would be best to just make a post where I can answer everyone’s questions all in one place. I will be going over a couple of different things here from how I was able to get the vaccine, my reaction to the vaccine, the ethics behind the vaccine (for my Catholic, Christian, Pro-Life friends-- you can ignore this section if you are none of those things), how the vaccine works, and why you should get the vaccine. I will try my best to make everything here as honest as I can in terms of my experience and I will link you to sources for my more scientific facts. I know that there is a lot of misinformation out there and fear regarding the vaccine and I hope to put all that to rest.
So let’s start this off with how I was able to get the vaccine. For those of you who don’t know I am a healthcare worker. I work in EMS as an EMT. I was lucky enough to have the option for either the Moderna or the Pfizer vaccine. My company offered us the Moderna vaccine, but the local hospital in our area (which was offering the Pfizer Vaccine) had some extra vaccines and were generous enough to share those vaccines with us. My company wouldn’t receive their shipment for another week or two and I wanted to get my dose as soon as possible, so I decided to get my dose through the local hospital. Which is how I ended up with the Pfizer one.
Many of you asked about my reaction to the vaccine. I have had both doses now and my reactions to both were very different. These were MY reactions. I know people who had different reactions than me, so just because it happened to me does not mean it will happen to you. Everyone is different and can experience things on their own. For my first dose I didn’t have any reactions. I just had the sore arm that comes with any vaccination. They are injecting it directly into your muscle so you are going to be sore. That is normal and you shouldn’t be worried. It feels kind of like a charlie horse or like you worked out really hard at the gym, but only in that one spot. Just ice it or throw on a heat pack or take a tylenol and power through. You did a good thing for yourself and your community. About 18 days later I had my second dose of the vaccine. This dose is larger and is needed in order for you to have the immunity to the virus. DO NOT MISS YOUR SECOND DOSE. I made the mistake of getting this shot while on duty lol. I had started my day with some normal back and neck pain that I attributed to regular heavy lifting of patients and a car crash I had a month prior. About 4 hours after getting my vaccine I started feeling VERY achy in both my back and neck. I thought nothing of it because I started the day with that pain and figured it was just because we had lifted some heavier patients. About an hour later I started getting the chills and the weakness. I was just feeling off and not quite myself. As the night progressed I ended up getting a low grade fever, nausea (luckily I had zofran on hand), a cough, dizziness, and I was diaphoretic (sweaty). I just really didn’t feel very good. I powered through my shift where I got off at 0700 and went home the next morning where I was able to sleep it off. By noon I was back to my regular self with only the sore arm. My reaction to the vaccine from start to finish was probably only about 15 hours. Yea that reaction sucked and I really did not feel too great, but would I do it again if it meant protecting myself and others from Covid? Hell yes!
The process for getting the vaccine may differ at each distribution site in terms of registration, but there are a few things that are going to stay the same. It started off with me registering on the website and answering some basic questions. Such as “are you a healthcare worker?” “have you been exposed to Covid without PPE?” “Are you Pregnant?” “Are you over 16?” “Do you have any allergies?” etc. Common questions that get asked in the current medical setting. I then had to register for an appointment time and show them my ID to prove I am who I am. After answering those questions I was sent off to wait for the first available person to administer my vaccine. Each table is sanitized after each person. I went over and got my shot. Went and filled out my vaccination card and had it signed off by someone then I went to sit in the waiting area for 15 minutes. That part is mandatory for everyone in case there is a reaction to the vaccine. WHICH IS EXTREMELY RARE. If you are a person who has many allergies then it is recommended you wait 30 minutes instead as it can sometimes take 30 minutes for a reaction to develop. Luckily there are healthcare providers all around so you are in good hands :) The whole process was so simple and I made friends with everyone else who was there getting their shots. We were bonding over our combined 5G super coverage. It was glorious.
How does the vaccine work? The Covid 19 Vaccine is a newer type of vaccine. It is something called a mRNA vaccine. mRNA Vaccines are different from our traditional vaccines as they don’t have a weak or inactive version of the virus or bacteria in them. What it does is it teaches the cells in our body how to fight off the virus by creating a protein to trigger our immune systems into action and fight off whatever shouldn’t be there. After the protein in our cells is created it gets displayed for our body to realize that it doesn’t belong. Our immune system then starts creating antibodies to fight off this unknown and very unwelcome protein. After our body has created these antibodies it deletes the protein out of existence as if it never existed leaving only the antibodies to protect us later down the line in case we do end up catching Covid (you can read more on this here https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/different-vaccines/mrna.html) . I think mRNA vaccines are going to be the future. They are more effective and way cooler in how they work. How did this vaccine come out so fast you ask? It was obviously planned by the government right? Wrong. Stop with the conspiracy theories ya wackos. mRNA vaccines had been in the works for YEARS. China had successfully identified the protein on the outside of the virus and sent that information to the labs across the world (pfizer and Moderna) to get started on a vaccine. They were able to crank one out and start the testing on animals, then people. After the trials they were able to approve these vaccines for distribution across the world (https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/why-are-mrna-vaccines-so-exciting-2020121021599). So basically the vaccine is cool and in no way a conspiracy.
Now for all of my Catholic, Christian, and Pro-Life friends. Is it ethical to receive the vaccine. In short, yes. For those of you who are still reading this part the reason this is a big issue for my Catholic, Christian, and Pro-Life friends is because past vaccines have used stem cells from an aborted baby. This is not meant to start a pro-life/pro-choice debate. Any of that on this post will be shut down immediately. For us as Catholics and as people who are pro-life it can be seen as a morally gray area due to the fact that a life has been taken and each human being has inherent dignity and value from conception to natural death. Now on to why we are able to receive the vaccine. Both the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccines were made using the mRNA technique. Which basically means there is no fetal tissue in them. Now where people are getting confused. While the vaccines do not use fetal tissue in them, they still tested them on a morally compromised cell line. Now the reason we are able to receive these vaccines still is because while neither of these vaccines is remote from evil there were no other options for us to keep the population as a whole safe. If you are still concerned about it we are so far removed from the act of the abortion that we cannot be held accountable for the actions that took place that day. This is a very very shortened version and if you would like to keep reading then you can do so here https://www.catholic.com/audio/cot/covid-19-vaccines-and-the-usccb?fbclid=IwAR2xRPbNxiCdsc1ISeb6u_D-YHjyoCrQlT3oTI4QZdeU1z9LZ6eGtbqrrKw. We should be getting this vaccine to protect those of us who are unable to receive it.
This post was not meant to be political in any way. I wanted to help you all understand why this vaccine is so important and put your minds at ease. Remember, the reasons vaccines work is because of herd immunity. Which means if the majority of us as a community get the vaccine then it will help to keep those who can’t get it (the pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, etc) safe and better protected from the virus. So please do your part. Social distance, wear your mask, wash your hands, get your vaccine, and look out for your neighbors. We are all in this together.

Sdr2 Boys Finding Their S/O Dead
“Hiya, if you're not busy could I request the Sdr2 boys finding S/O dead/the trial?”
Slowly getting through all of the ‘(insert game) characters finding their SO dead’ requests! I hope you enjoy! Story under the tag~
WARNING: Mentions of Suicide, Cussing
Hajime Hinata
He doesn’t know what attracted him to you
Your amazing ability? You’re genuine compassion for your talent? The way you didn’t care that he didn’t know his talent?
No matter how you spun it, he liked you
And do you know how ecstatic he was to have you return those feelings?
You were one of the only things giving him hope as all of his friends died, one by one
But he swore you wouldn’t die. You were friends with everyone who had survived this long, and there was no reason for you to be a victim
But friends can always turn on each other, in the end
All of you were so close to getting out, having found an island with an amusement park, and more importantly, a code
Sadly, the code had been scratched out
And then, to top it all off, you were all whisked away to the worst fun-house money can buy
Everyone was starving and dehydrated, too weak to even walk properly, in some cases
Everyone had been succumbed to morning exercises, and it was time for just that
Everyone showed up one by one, until he realized someone was missing. You
He shot a remark at Monokuma before racing back to the main rooms, checking yours
He was dizzy from exertion, but when he opened your door he could see the scene distinctly
Your body sprawled on the floor, face blue and something tied around your neck
Then he passed out
He awoke to something pressed against his lips, and gratefully drank it when he realized it was water
As his vision returned he saw he was in the main hall of their prison, Chiaki next to him holding a bottle of water.
“What happened?”
“You passed out because you pushed yourself too far running to find Y/n”
‘Y/n...’
Hajime jumped up and began to run towards the rooms when Chiaki stopped him
“I have to see-” “You need to eat.” “But-” “You can’t...help her if you pass out again.” Chiaki held out some kind of energy bar
Hajime snatched it, ripping of the wrapper and running, eating it as her went
The sight was just as bad as he had remembered
All of his fellow classmates minus Chiaki were in your room, staring at your body, and when they noticed Hajime, they stared at him
No one spoke, and he started his own investigation, ignoring them
He looked at your body. He didn’t want to investigate you, but he knew you had to
He cringed the second he touched you. Cold.
Hajime tried to do the minimal to your body, only noting the sheet wrapped tightly around your neck and how you looked like you were sleeping with your eyes closed.
He refused to disturb you anymore, and investigated the room and people around before the trial began.
The trial started noticeably slower than usual, Chiaki being forced to pick up Hajime’s slack
He started engaging slowly, but found his eyes flickering to your stand every time he made a good point, expecting that smile you gave him whenever it happened
The trial picked up, and he found himself able to focus better if he pretended that you weren’t the victim
And then the mystery broke
Everyone watched as Sonia broke the second they accused her, her shakily yet charmingly explaining that her country needed her, than she needed to get out
“I don’t care.” Hajime snapped, succeeding in cutting Sonia off. “You killed someone! You killed Y/n...you don’t deserve your country, or the right to leave.”
Hajime blocked out Sonia’s cries and Kazuichi’s disbelief, hand already on his voting panel
As he predicted, everyone voted Sonia, even Kazuichi, and they all watched as Sonia was executed to the style of Snow White
He returned to his cottage after a small talk with Chiaki on how to not have this hold him back
After he locked his door he sat down on his bed, staring at the part where his wall connected to the floor
How could he get over this? You were the one person who made him feel special, even among these high-school level supers.
He felt empty again
Nagito Komaeda
This was all an accident.
Nagito’s luck seemed to fail him, and it resulted in you covered in punch, sand, and almonds. Don’t ask how
You had run off from the beach where the incident occurred, abruptly ending the small beach party that had been going on
Mahiru called Nagito disgusting for not following you, but he knew you needed space
How he wished he had followed you
he had been woken up that night to pounding on his door, and found a tearful Ibuki, blubbering incoherent words before taking Nagito’s arm and dragging him to your cottage
He could smell blood from yards away, and found your room filed with people
He at first noted the broken lock, then he saw the body
Your body
You had been bludgeoned, it was very obvious to see from the blood running from the wound on your head and the blood on the corner of your desk
“How unfortunate.”
Everyone gave Nagito a surprised look at his words, wondering why he was so calm
To be truthful, he was panicking
Ultimates were dying! You were such an extraordinary person, how could you be gone?!
“Well, there’s nothing to do but investigate!”
And with that, everyone began to slowly investigate, asking each other questions about their whereabouts at the time of death
There were almost no clues to everyone's dismay, and when trial time was announced, everyone felt uneasy
But the trial came, everyone bewildered by how calm and collected Nagito was. Well, as calm and collected as one could see Nagito as.
No one was hopeful, there were only a handful of clues and nothing to show for them
Until it came to light that the lock was broken by someone trying to get to the body, not kill you
“So Y/n...let the killer in?”
The trial came to a new light, and suddenly many more clues opened up until a huge break was found
“What do you mean Y/n was the original killer?” Hiyoko yelled. “You mean her victim got her first?”
Very soon after that, the truth came to light
“I didn’t mean to kill her! She attacked me first! I just...didn’t want to die!”
“No matter what way you spin it, you still killed her. You’re still the blackened, Mahiru.”
Mahiru broke down, crying on her podium as Hiyoko called Hajime and Nagito alike horrible names
But there was definitive proof, and they voted rightfully to execute Mahiru
They watched as she was executed, Hiyoko screaming as Mahiru gave her final breath
Nagito left before anyone even noticed he was gone, and quietly made his way to the beach, standing on the shore
“Such a great talent gone.”
He picked up a rock and threw it into the water, watching it sink
Why did he feel...bad? Hadn’t you also tried to kill an Ultimate?
He went back to his cottage, sleeping will get his mind off things
But through his entire time in this killing game, the feeling lingered
He couldn’t shake off this unknown feeling of loss.
Byakuya Togami
Togami didn’t want this
This was the exact opposite of what he wanted
He had specifically taken away everything that could be used as a weapon
And here you were, lifeless on the floor, a somehow perfect stab wound to the chest
You two hadn’t even known each other for long, a week and a half, two weeks top
But those two weeks had given you two something that could never be taken away
An unspoken bond that instantly clicked you two together
But that was gone now, you were gone, because someone saw your death as a way to escape this island
Nobody really knew what to do, as you were the first death. People were in shock, screaming, crying, asking, how could someone do this to a friend?
He knew he had to keep his persona as the one who didn’t care, and no one else knew the connection he had with you
“Well, obviously one of you has fallen into the bear’s trap. There is nothing to do now but investigate.”
And with his words, everyone began to hesitantly look over your body and the area for clues
He helped as well, investigating your body, making sure that nothing else was wrong with you before leaving to talk to the others
Byakuya’s mind was racing a mile a minute, wondering how this had happened, and to you, of all people
And then the trial started
No one had a clue as to who killed you or how to even start the trial, let alone try and catch a killer
So Togami, even if he wasn’t the real Togami, stepped up, stating the obvious facts first
Slowly, everyone started working on the case, and Togami noticed Chiaki and Hajime’s niche for solving the missing pieces of the case with the little evidence they had
Togami helped out, well, as much as his alias would allow him to
To be honest, he wanted to help out so much more, show his true emotions, but he knew he never could under this personality
But still, the truth came out
Nagito Komaeda, the ultimate lucky student, was sentenced to execution for killing you
As Nagito’s laugh pierced the air and confessed he just killed the nearest person, Togami spaced out
You were killed because of something so trivial as where you were standing? Why had you chosen that unlucky moment to converse, when the majority of their short party you were by Togami’s side? How did he not find the knife?
But there was nothing he could do as Nagito said his chilling farewell and was dragged away to his rightfully deserved demise
Togami left right after the execution, stating he had nothing to say, nor did he want the pity of his fellow classmates
As soon as he got to his room his facade fell
He felt tears running down his face as he punched the wall before sliding down it, sitting on the floor
Why you? And why was this affecting him so much, even though you had barely known each other
He couldn’t explain it, but he felt he knew you for much longer than your time on this island had permitted
Why did he feel something more was missing?
Why was everything so wrong?
Gundham Tanaka
He wished he had spent more time with you
After all, you two were together
But recently, he had been hanging out with Sonia. It was nothing more than a friendship, but he could see how saddened you became when they hung out without you
And then it became where Sonia obviously had a thing for Gundham, making both of you uncomfortable
Gundham knew he should stop her advances, but he didn’t want to hurt her feelings. On the other hand, he knew how much it hurt you
He doubled down on spending time with you, rejecting Sonia’s offers to hang out because he had planned days for just the two of you
This time, Gundham had planned a picnic in the park on the original island, and honestly he was pretty excited
He had packed lunches (even for his Devas), and was looking forward to spending the whole day just cloud watching and telling stories with you
He had asked you to bring the picnic blanket, and to get there earlier to set it up, and he would arrive only a few minutes after you
But he learned the hard way that a few minutes could change everything
Gundham had shown up right on time, ready for a day of just you
But when he arrived, he found the last sight he wanted to see
You, laid down on the red and white blanket, the white spots died a faint pink now
But you weren’t sleeping, the object protruding from your chest said otherwise.
Gundham couldn’t move. Was this real? How could this happen? No one even knew of your day besides Sonia!
He had his Devas go fetch everyone else while he crouched next your body, gently grazing his fingers over your face and the steak knife in your chest
He closed your eyes, before stroking your hair back one more time and laying your head back on the blanket
Everyone had shown up, shocked at the scene
Everyone began investigating, Gundham only letting Mikan, Chiaki, and Hajime near your body. No one else needed to be in your presence in this state.
He refused to answer anyone’s questions, even ignoring Sonia until Kazuichi pulled her away
And then the trial started, and the only thing Gundham could see was the empty spot right across from him, yourself now replaced with a straight-faced picture of yourself, x’d out in what he hoped was pink paint
He doubled down on helping this trial, not hesitating to call anyone out on even the smallest slip up, calling them names they couldn’t even understand
He didn’t randomly accuse anyone, he didn’t want to cause confusion or somehow get the blackened a way to escape
So when it all came to light, he was ready to come down on the murderer with all his might
“Kazuichi, how could you?! You are destined for an eternity of purgatory!”
Everyone started drowning the crying mechanic in questions, asking why he did it. He only spoke up when Sonia asked him
“I...I didn’t like how Sonia was spending so much time with Gundham! I wanted to just scare him a little, so when I caught wind that him and Y/n were having a picnic I wanted to scare Gundham a bit...but he didn’t get there first! Y/n did! She saw me in the bush with the knife and I tried to explain it to her but she kept yelling and when she tried to run away, I panicked and...and...”
Kazuichi broke down into more tears, and Gundham could feel all eyes on him and Sonia
Without another word they all voted, and watched as Kazuichi Soda was brutally executed for killing one of their friends
Afterwards, Gundham left, ignoring Sonia as she tried to approach him
And he kept avoiding her, days after the trial, a week
Actually, he avoided everyone
He had a chance to spend so much more time with you, to save you
But you were gone
The Y/n you were no longer exists in any form but a memory
One that he refused to let go of for even a second.
Kazuichi Soda
Kazuichi felt like the luckiest man alive to be able to be with you
He had to admit, he was head over heels for Sonia for a while, but that was never true love, just a small crush based on appearances that he let run for far too long
And when he finally got to know you more, he realized he’d been focusing on the wrong girl the whole time
After your first interaction you were practically joined at the hip, best friends as well as lovers
You two did everything together, whether it’s just helping Kazuichi with a mechanics project, or making stupid bets and dares
You two were the ‘Dumbass Duo’, as Fuyuhiko had put it, and quite frankly you wouldn’t have it any other way
Kazuichi had spent this fateful day searching for you. You two had plans to race go-karts you two had built from scratch, but you were a no-show
“Y/n?” Kazuichi had knocked on your door three separate times today, and checked all the available islands, but you were nowhere to be found
He attempted knocking on your door for the fourth time when the door was finally unlocked. He opened the door and first noticed a little note on on the floor
“Thought I’d give you some help!” Signed with a hastily drawn Monokuma symbol
The room was dark, and Kazuichi felt the wall for the lights
“Y/n-”
As the room lit up, he froze
He had thought he had gotten used to the sight of dead bodies
But seeing you lightly swinging from the ceiling with a rope around your neck, he crumbled
With a scream Kazuichi ran to your body, grabbing the collapsed chair underneath you
“Somebody help me!”
He stood on the chair and yanked the rope from the hook it was situated on, catching your body
Everyone who came in the room saw Kazuichi holding you, sobbing, begging for you to wake up as the body announcement rang
But you never did
He was inconsolable throughout the investigation, sitting in the corner and crying until he couldn’t anymore
He stayed silent during the trial, watching everyone as they discussed your death
When suicide was brought up, Kazuichi intervened
“Y/n would never! Sure, she hated it here, but she wanted to get out alive, just like the rest of us! We were going to survive together!”
Everyone was surprised by Kazuichi’s sudden contribution, some even refuting him
He felt a tidal wave of relief when Hajime found enough evidence to rule out suicide
He would never have forgiven himself if he had missed those signs
But, you were still dead
Murdered
And he knew he had to catch your killer
He started putting his two cents in to the trial, trying to see if he could debunk alibis because of all of the searching he did on the islands today
And it worked
“Akane, your alibi about being at the beach training is a lie. Were you the one who killed Y/n, and staged it as a suicide?”
Kazuichi watched as Chiaki and Hajime came at Akane from every angle, her stuttering excuses and yells no match for the solid proof
And when the voting concluded a success, everyone waited for Kazuichi to yell at Akane in anger
Which is why his tears surprised them
“I know you told us why you did it...but you didn’t have to do it. I just...I don’t know. Just go away already.”
He watched along with the rest of his class ass Akane was executed in a despair fueled murder
He left with everyone else, only giving a soft hum when Hajime asked how he was
He beelined for his room, locking it behind him and laid on the bed
He was tired. He missed you. He felt like neither of these issues would ever be resolved
He slept with the lights on that night, afraid when he turned them on in the morning he’d see you again
Teruteru Hanamura
Your birthday was coming up, and Teruteru couldn’t be more excited
He had prepared a feast for dinner tonight, one of many leading up to the big day
Every food you’ve mentioned liking out for you to enjoy
Everything was perfectly placed, a delectable smell coming from the table
He asked you to via a letter t meet him in the dining hall at 5 PM, so now all he had to do was wait
5:05, waiting
5:30, waiting
Teru waited until 6:15 before getting fed up, marching to your door, knocking somewhat harshly
“Y/n! I understand that people are late sometimes, but I told you how important it is to eat my dishes at precisely the right time! What kept you-”
Your door swung open with a click, it must not have been shut all the way the last time it was closed
Teru stepped into the room and quickly switched the light on, ready to scold you for sleeping
His attention immediately went to the balloon floating in the air
Teru’s eyes trailed down the balloon’s string, eyes going dark at the wrist he saw connected to it
You were on the floor, laid perfectly as if you were already in your casket
The only thing out of place was the blood matting the side of your head and pooling around you
Teruteru let out the loudest scream he could muster, sure someone in the nearby dorms heard
Just as he thought, Sonia came rushing in, quickly leaving at the sight of the body to get the others to help
Teru sat next to you, numb, as the faint sound of the announcement played in unison to his classmate’s horrified whispers
You were gone
He refused to look at you anymore than he needed to, excusing himself to go clean up the wasted dinner
The whole time he couldn’t stop thinking of your body, the imagine ingrained in his head forever
Then, Chiaki came in and informed Teru that it was trial time
The second he walked into the trial room and saw its birthday party theme, he wanted to throw up
Why hadn’t he investigated? He was useless to you now
He spent hours trying to follow the story and clues, your crossed out trial stand seeming to mock him at every error
He followed Hajime’s lead as they reviewed the facts of the attack, bringing up the blow to the head and locked door
And as it became clear who did it, Teruteru’s accent came out as he pressed the killer
“What made you do dis, Nekomaru! She did nothin’ to you!”
“Because...she wouldn’t listen to me! She only wanted you!”
“What?”
Everybody flinched as Nekomaru slammed his hands on the podium, his weight causing parts of the wood to splinter
“Teruteru, you are a terrible excuse of a man! You treat women as property, you don’t deserve Y/n! I tried to tell her, but she wouldn’t listen! I just got so angry that...I must’ve blacked out. When I woke up she was just...there. Dead.”
Nekomaru forcibly closed his eyes and shook his head. “I didn’t mean to hurt her. None of this would’ve happened if Teruteru hadn’t brainwashed her into falling for him.”
Nekomaru’s speech was cut off by Monokuma announcing execution time, which Nidai went to with honor
Teruteru felt numb
You were really gone, and it was all his fault?
He didn’t feel alive anymore
He walked to the elevator alone, ignoring Akane’s wails and his classmates telling him that it wasn’t his fault
Teru didn’t go back to his dorm, opting to sit in the cold park
He watched the sky, reflecting on the picnic you two had had just a few days ago
It was so empty without you
And it was all his fault.
Nekomaru Nidai
He didn’t understand how it happened
It all happened so fast
They were having a party and all Nekomaru wanted was a bathroom
But as he waited at the locked door, the lights went out
When they came back on, screams rang throughout the building
Nekomaru ran back to the party room, throwing the doors open
His eyes landed instantly on the pool of blood on the floor
And then your body
With a shout Nekomaru ran to your body and scooped you up
“Y/n! What the hell happened?!”
Everyone expected anger from the giant, which made his teary weeping that much more chilling
Nekomaru let Akane pull him away, and with a shaky heart he tried to help with the investigation
He refused to work with your body, though
He’d rather have happy memories of you instead of more time with an empty you
He had all the clues on everything but your body
He’d know soon enough when Mikan filled them in on the detrimental head wound you suffered
Everyone was shaken- this was the first trial, their lives depending on who they convict
Nekomaru found himself to be no help at all during the trial, only repeating things previously said or making wild accusations
He eventually backed down, knowing it would be best for you and everyone else if he laid low and let those who seemed capable handle it
He listened throughout the trial, only opening up when it was time to tell of his alibi and relation to you
You guys stuck like glue in your short time together, he explained
He knew it made him a possible suspect, but he was proud of your relationship. Just at casual greetings, both of you agreed that it felt lik ages since you two first met, already comfortable with each other
He was snapped out of his daydream by Nagito’s piercing laugh
“How inconvenient! Trying to save someone caused both of your downfalls!”
Nekomaru trailed everyone else’s gazes to Byakuya, who stood with a stone cold expression
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Nekomaru listened intently as Hajime, Nagito, and Chiaki threw evidence at Byakuya, putting the story together
“So in an attempt to stop Nagito, you pushed Y/n into the table, resulting in her hitting her head?”
Nekomaru couldn’t believe it
It was an accident?
It could’ve been anyone, why you?
They all watched as Byakuya and a few others argued that an accident shouldn’t be grounds for an execution, but Monokuma was adamant on any killing being a murder
They all watched as Byakuya was given a terrible death, crushing all his dreams before drawing his last breath
After, Nekomaru let Akane escort him to his room
He requested her to stay with him, not wanting to be alone with his own thoughts
Anyone else, he thought. Anyone else, and he would be helping people keep their hopes up, to keep on moving
That was his talent after all
But it was you
And without you he didn’t feel like doing anything
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu
All Fuyuhiko had to do was follow the screams
He and Peko were in the diner enjoying a drink when they heard it
A sharp scream that meant a body was either found, or being made
They dropped their cups and ran, and as they neared the bridge connecting them to the first island, they saw it
Hiyoko crying into Mahiru’s shirt, Mahiru staring in horror at the body on the floor
As he and Peko got closer, Peko broke out into a sprint, yelling out your name
And that’s when he connected it
With a shout Fuyuhiko raced to your side, stopping inches away from your body, staring at it as Peko looked you over
Nothing looked out of place till Pekoyama rolled you onto your side, and he saw the multiple stab wounds in your back
Mahiru gagged and turned away, and Fuyuhiko would be lying if he said he didn’t almost do the same
Peko laid you back down as everyone else rushed over from the first island, all exclaiming their terror
He watched as Mikan got to work on your body, everyone else searching around for clues
But there was practically no trace of whoever did this to you, the only thing anyone could find was a scuffle of footprints which were determined to be yours
With nothing to do, the trial happened almost immediately
Fuyuhiko was a bit grateful, he found it disrespectful to you if everyone just stood around and stared at you
They all stood at the trial in silence
There was nothing to go off of, so Chiaki suggested starting with alibis
No one thought it would help until they realized almost everyone was with someone else
Soon, everyone had been paired up with their partner-in-alibi, leaving only a few people who could’ve done it
Teruteru, Gundham, Chiaki, and the pairing of Peko and Fuyuhiko, since they were in the island when it happened
But then someone with a keen eye noticed something
“Where did that cut come from?” Peko spoke suddenly, stilling the conversation Hajime was having with Chiaki
Fuyuhiko followed her gaze, landing on Teru
“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Teru hid his arm slightly behind his back
“Can’t even think of an excuse, you can only deny the obvious?”
“You motherfucker” Fuyuhiko muttered, eyes now following him
“You’re dumbass self cut yourself with the very weapon that killed Y/n? And you didn’t even try to hide it or explain it?” He scoffed, turning to the side. “Though I guess we’re all dumbasses, not seeing it till now.”
Peko joined in on ganging up on Teru, and soon everyone was demanding answers from her besides Mikan and Sonia. But soon, not even those three could deny the facts that with no alibi, and a seemingly unanswered injury, Teruteru was the prime suspect in this case
And in a leap of faith, they all voted, having little else to go on
Fuyuhiko felt a rush of relief when the voting ballot showed ‘Winner!’
Then it turned to anger
He wanted to march up to Teru and punch him, but Peko put her hand on his shoulder, seemingly knowing his thoughts
Teru quickly burst into tears, saying that it was jut a heat of the moment idea, seeing his chance and taking it
But that doesn’t stop his actions from being execution worthy, so with a smirk on his face, Fuyuhiko watched as he was executed
And as everyone left, so did he, only saying that that “The prick got what he deserved.”
But as soon as he got to his room alone, he slammed the door, turning to his shelf and throwing books in a fit of rage
And as he calmed down, he began crying, sliding against the wall to the floor
It could’ve been anyone, yet it was you
Why were you on the second island? Were you coming to join Peko and himself?
It didn’t matter anymore, though
You were gone, and he could’ve stopped it.
Eek, I finished? Wow, it’s been so long since I updated! Sorry guys! I hope to get the next one out soon (even though I say that every time and still take over a month)

After School Lesson | M.N.
(Author’s Note- This is a reupload of a fic I posted a few months ago. I realized that it was deleted at some point? I’m not sure how or why, but here it is again lol)
Word Count: 3.1k
Contains: Death mention, swearing, angst, injury
Requested: by @technolilly
“Hi! How about a Makoto X Reader where Makoto, Kyoko, and the reader were the three most suspicious people in the Mukuro trial. During the trial, Reader takes the blame off Makoto but at the last second Kyoko throws the reader under the bus, meaning everyone voted for reader so she was executed? Alter ego saves her and then Makoto and Kyoko rescue her from the garbage? Basically just make the first half really angsty and then have a happy reunion? Feel free to change anything you want! Tysm! “
-
“Being optimistic is the only thing I’m good at.” - Makoto Naegi
-
Thousands of horrific incidents happened everyday. People got attacked, things got stolen, accidents happened. It was just a fact of life. Yet somehow, even after hearing news reports of heinous crimes everyday of your almost eighteen years of life, you’re still never prepared for anything horrific to happen to you.
Then again, this kind of thing was recognizably unprecedented. In all of those newscasts you’d heard, both actively and passively, you’d never heard about anything like this. How could you have possibly prepared to be thrown into the midst of a Killing Game?
Though it was hard to keep track of the days while being secluded away, you were certain you’d been trapped in Hope’s Peak Academy for at least a month. There had been over 730 hours to process this, but it still didn’t feel real. Maybe on some level you were subconsciously clinging onto a false shred of hope that this was just a night terror, or maybe your mind just wasn’t willing to admit that things really were this dire. Regardless of the reasoning, you’d spent your days here in an unlikely mix of dread and apathy. You were both hyper-aware and numb.
And somehow, even in moments of heightened tension like this one, you found yourself spacing out and losing small chunks of time. You hadn’t even noticed you’d zoned out at first, and you certainly hadn’t intended to, but you realized you’d missed the last minute or so of the Class Trial. In circumstances like this, not catching a minute’s worth of conversation could have been a deadly mistake.
“Without my room key, I couldn’t have possibly put the locker key in there myself.”
Kirigiri was still debating Byakuya’s claim that she must’ve killed Mukuro, as the key to the locker holding the believed murder weapon was found in her room. Thankfully, that meant you couldn’t have missed anything too revolutionary. You took this to be reassuring and allowed your gaze to deviate from the two arguing over to the brown haired boy standing at the podium beside yours. The trial was in full swing and Makoto looked as pensive as everyone in the room did, but he still remembered to keep a tight, reassuring grip on your hand as you stood in the space next to his. While preoccupied with pinning the culprit, there was still a part of his mind focused on comforting you.
“Does no one have any objections? Do you accept what Kirigiri is saying?”
After receiving only silence , Byakuya sighed. “I see. We have no choice but to accept it. It wasn’t Kirigiri who put the locker key in her room, but someone else.”
“But.. who is ‘someone else’? Toges, you had Kiri’s key, right?” Hiro questioned.
“Yes, but I have an alibi. After 10 p.m., I was with you all. It’s not possible for me to have murdered Mukuro Ikusaba or to have put the key in Kirigiri’s room.”
“Then who did put the key in Kiri’s room?” Byakuya was quick to answer Hiro again. “There’s only one reasonable possibility- He had the key with him and pretended as though he found it in Kirigiri’s room.” “You’re talking about... Naegi?” Aoi’s voice cracked a bit as she spoke, a look not unlike betrayal clouding over her soft features.
“That’s the only explanation.”
“That’s not possible,” You spoke up without a second thought, though your voice was weaker than you had intended, “While we were investigating in the bio lab, Makoto gave me his jacket, and there definitely wasn’t anything in his pockets then. We went straight to the garden so he could meet with Byakuya after that, so he couldn’t have stopped to get it. If it wasn’t in his jacket, where else would he have been able to hide that bulky key without you noticing he had it?”
“Hm, I suppose that is a fair point. It would have been rather difficult to conceal it just beneath his shirt..” Byakuya looked away again in thought, seemingly satisfied with your reasoning.
“He actually took off his jacket? I didn’t think he ever took that thing off...”
“Oh yeah, he totally did! (Name) was still wearing it when they came into the garden! She even had her hands in the pockets,” Aoi confirmed to Yasuhiro, her voice brighter now that her friend didn’t seem like the culprit.
“You had his jacket, (name)?” Kyouko raised her hand to her chin in thought, “It’s true that Makoto clearly didn’t have the key in his pocket when he gave her his jacket, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t in his pocket when he got it back.”
“Huh?”
Other than Makoto, Kirigiri was the student you trusted the most. You’d covered for her multiple times, and followed her command even when you didn’t understand her motives or reasoning. You had offered to let her stay in your room with you last night when Byakuya confiscated her key. In a normal high school scenario, you wouldn’t have hesitated to call her one of your best friends.
She couldn’t possibly be implying what you thought… right?
“If the key wasn’t in his pocket this morning and he never stopped back at his dorm, he couldn’t have had it when the murder took place. Yet somehow it was in his pocket by the time he needed to plant it in my room,” she spoke with an almost chilling certainty. “There was only one person who would have had the opportunity to pass the key off to him in time.”
She sounded calm, not at all like someone accusing their friend of murder.
“Hold on-” Makoto raised his hands defensively, unintentionally tugging the one in your grasp away rather harshly. He wasn’t happy when he was under suspicion, but now she was accusing you?
But Kyouko didn’t yield.
“Makoto was the only person who could have placed the key in my room, but there’s only one person who could have had it when Mukuro was killed. There’s also only one person that Makoto would be willing to cover for- his girlfriend.”
“What?!” you practically spit out your response.
“H-hold on a second! That’s not what happened!” Makoto was reeling. “Let’s think things through again! There’s something at work behind the scenes here- there has to be! This whole class trial doesn’t make any sense, don’t you guys agree?! Mukuro Ikusaba, who we’d never seen before, suddenly shows up dead… and there’s a class trial for it?! A- and Kirigiri was saying, too, that this is all a trap set by the Puppetmaster! So it’s gotta be-”
Monokuma’s shrill voice cut off Makoto’s desperate rambling. “Okay! Time’s up!”
“What?”
“Time’s uuuup! The Class Trial is oooover! So there’s no need to talk about anything else!”
“W- what the hell? We’re out of time?” Makoto replied first, your reaction trailing quickly after.
“Hold on, what do you mean? That’s not fair!”
“We’ve never had a time limit!” Suddenly even Kyouko looked panicked, her restraint and conviction having vanished as the trail was definitively ended. There was no going back.
“All thanks to your tardiness, Kirigiri! ‘Cause of you, we were tight on time! With that said, you guys, it’s Ballot Time! Please cast your ballot using the switch in front of you!”
Makoto’s green eyes met yours as you both turned towards each other at the same time. The look of pure trepidation and disbelief etched onto his features must’ve mirrored yours perfectly.
“Ballot… time?”
-
“I’m… the culprit?” your voice was soft, almost too quiet for even your boyfriend beside you to hear it.
“N-no, that’s not right, guys-” Makoto was immediately shaking his head in shock and confusion, his hand reaching out for yours again desperately as he tried to make a last minute plea for them to believe him. Your words cut him off though, the panic fully setting in.
“That’s not right! I didn’t do it! Th- this doesn’t make any sense!”
“It’s time for another super exciting, heart-pounding punishment!!”
Your gaze directly snapped to Kirigiri, who looked even paler than usual- as if the weight of what her lies had caused was setting in. You’d had her back this entire time, and she blamed you. She framed you. “W- why me?”
“I have no illusions for earning your forgiveness, because all of this is my fault..” her response was simple and to the point, just like her answers always were. She was acting like she usually did, except that she’d just betrayed you in the most brutal way possible.
“Kirigiri, tell them-” Makoto made his own frantic appeal for her to clear this up, to do anything to stop them from ripping you away from him. He moved urgently, throwing his arms around you and clutching you to his chest. They couldn’t just execute you when you weren’t the actual culprit, right? This wasn’t how this game was supposed to be played.
Yet Monokuma insisted, and you were forcefully dragged away from your boyfriend’s secure embrace.
“Let’s get the ball rollin’! It’s punishment time!”
You have been found guilty. Time for the punishment!
The sharp fibers of the ropes around your legs and wrists dug into your skin, dispelling any chance you had at convincing yourself that this was just some bad dream. You could feel the frayed rope stabbing your skin, the sputtering of the conveyor belt below your desk, the shake that spread through the room with every
Thud
thud
thud
Of the giant machine pounding into the ground behind you.
Almost against your own will, you were flailing against the chair, screaming and sobbing, begging for help. No one could help you, no matter how hard you screamed, and flailing only made the sharp rope cut into your skin more than it already was.
This wasn’t how this was supposed to end. You’d promised Makoto that the two of you would take down the Mastermind and get out of here together, yet somehow, you’d ended up in the execution chair. For a crime you didn’t commit. This was it, this was how you went. You had lost and there was nothing you could do about it.
You were going to be blackened, and you had to accept it.
Squeezing your eyes shut, you tried to calm yourself, though your chest still shook with sobs.
You thought of Makoto. You thought of how he’d been so reassuring and supportive during your time here. How he’d pull you into his side when you got too overwhelmed, or hold your hand when you investigated together. How warm he felt when he’d squeeze you into a tight hug, or how nice his jacket smelled when he let you wear it. How he could never tie his uniform tie correctly. How he had looked at you with pure love in his eyes that day while lying together under a sakura tree outside of the school, with the warm sun filtering through the petals onto your skin… when had that happened?
But a sudden new sound startled you and you opened your eyes without thinking. The heavy foot of the machine had frozen, and was now giving off a grating buzzing noise as if it was trying with all its power to still move, to still crush.
You almost missed it in your surprise, but out of the corner of your eye you caught a familiar face flash onto the screen in front of you. Alter Ego?
Then you were falling. The foot had stopped, but the conveyor belt had kept going and the desk rolled off of it, sending you flying backwards into the dark.
Your eyes opened slowly, fogginess swelling in your mind as you tried to remember what happened and where you were. Unfortunately, it only took a few moments for the violent memories of the trial and execution to come flooding back to you. The crushing block had halted, but then you fell backwards, still tied tight to the old wooden desk. Splintered bits of that desk lied around you, seemingly having shattered on impact. That same impact must've knocked you unconscious, but you were most definitely alive. Alter Ego had stopped the execution.
You weren’t sure where you had ended up at first; it wasn’t a part of the school you’d seen before. Considering the rancid smell and large piles of garbage, there was really only one place it could be- the bottom of the trash chute.
Pushing through the pounding headache pulsing from your neck, you stood to your feet to study your surroundings. Did you still have to watch out for Monokuma and the Mastermind, or had they presumed you to be dead? Had they all presumed you to be dead? Naturally your thoughts returned to Makoto- had he assumed you were dead? That thought made you feel even more nauseous than you had been from your probable concussion. There was a chance that everyone had written off trying to help you, even your boyfriend. You wanted to believe that he wouldn’t stop looking for you until he was absolutely certain you were gone, but your frayed nerves coaxed you to dwell on that feeling, that despair, of being totally forgotten.
Salty tears slipped onto your lips, the sudden taste snapping you back to reality a bit. You hadn’t even realized you were crying at first. What was the point of crying now? That wasn’t going to accomplish anything other than intensifying your dehydration. The only productive thing you could do was to search for food, water or a way out.
The large door at the front of the room was bolted shut. Of course it was. All of the food was rotten. Of course it was. With no way out and no food to eat, the only thing you could do was to give into the exhaustion- both mental and physical.
So you slept. You hadn't really slept since this killing game had started, and though this wasn't any less tense of a situation, it was the first time in a while where there wasn't anything to do. There was no investigating to do or people to watch out for. Down here, the only thing you could do was feed that need to sleep.
A loud thud shook the ground and startled you awake, your eyes immediately scanning the area cautiously. Nothing looked different at first, but you were certain that something heavy had just fallen down. Then you noticed that all too familiar green jacket peeking out of what must have been a new pile of trash bags.
"M- Makoto?!"
He groaned for a second, trying to recover from the rough landing, before his green eyes flickered open. They met with yours, and somehow, even in this twisted situation, his gaze still made your heart race.
"(Name)! You're okay!" The clumsy boy scrambled to his feet as quickly as he could, trying not to slip on the trash he'd fallen down with. He barely wasted a second to steady himself before throwing his arms around you, pulling you into his chest as tightly as he could.
It almost didn't feel real, like maybe you'd hallucinated him out of desperation and hunger from the last day or so of being down here alone. You hugged him back just as tightly, as if he might slip away if you didn't cling to him. Despite the lingering scent of trash around you, he still smelled as comforting and nice as you remembered. He still ran his fingers through your hair soothingly like he usually did. He still felt like home.
He was really here, he'd come to save you.
After a few moments of clinging to each other in silence, he lifted his fingers from your hair, a soft gasp leaving his lips. “Your head was bleeding?”
“I guess I landed wrong,” you tried to joke, though your laugh was breathy and unconvincing. Your dizziness and headache implied a concussion, but you weren’t ready to volunteer that information to him yet. In turn he pulled away to look you over completely
“You look so much better than I expected though! I kinda thought maybe you wouldn't be..." He didn't dare finish that thought. He'd come entirely too close to losing you too many times for him to even say it out loud anymore. "I was really worried about you."
"I wasn't sure you'd come after me," you confessed softly, burying your face in his shoulder as you leaned into him again.
"I'll... always come after you." He pressed an endearing kiss to your messy, splayed hair as a flustered blush set in on his cheeks. Even after going through all of this together and being together like you had, Makoto still got embarrassed from affection and admitting his feelings so blatantly.
“I brought you food and water.”
He didn’t need to tell you twice. You reached out to grab what he was holding immediately. Simple bread and water had never seemed so delicious.
After waiting for you to finish eating, which admittedly didn’t take very long, he laced his long fingers with yours. “C’mon, we need to get you out of here.”
“How? That door is locked and there’s no way we can climb high enough to go back out through the trash chute..”
He flashed you that knowing, assured grin that you loved so much. It couldn’t have been more than a few days since you’d seen him, but seeing him smile at you like that again was enough to make you want to cry and cling to him tighter than you ever had before. Had there been no rush to get out of this hole, you would’ve done just that.
His free hand disappeared into his jacket pocket for just a second before returning into sight with a shiny silver key in its grasp.
“Kirigiri… gave you the Monokuma key?” After her dedicated attempt to frame you in the last trial, you weren’t too hopeful that she would be helpful in rescuing you. “Why?”
“It’s… a long story, that she wants to tell you herself, but she’s really close to figuring everything out. She’s the one who snuck me into the trash room and down the chute,” he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly with his free hand. “She’s waiting to let us out through the trapdoor there now. On the other side of that door there should be a ladder that leads back up.”
“She’s almost found the Mastermind?”
He nodded earnestly.
“Good. I want to get out of this stupid school. I want us to get out together.”
“Me too,” he promised softly, “But right now we have to get you out of this horrible place.”

Can I request which characters from mha are most compatible with an extroverted gf...except she gets super shy around boys so she just gets quiet and closed off around them? I was hoping maybe like headcanons for their relationship with these characters I hope this is okay:)))
(tried to diversify with characters, but ended up only having students and a villain, oops) also, i apologize if this isn’t top-tier, it’s my first time writing anything like this. hope you enjoy!
Kaminari
Kaminari, the human version of Pikachu, absolute ray of sunshine
Definitely would be wondering why you talk to every girl in class but not him/his friends
He’s like: “Why won’t she come talk to me? I’m funny, I’m nice, I’m just like them.”
It isn’t until you two were paired in a training course as partners that things changed
Long story short: You two planned out stuff, he flirted with you, which made you blush to no end, and asked you if you wanted to go somewhere after, you accepted, face the same shade as a tomato, and now you two are together
It took a little time getting used to not only Kaminari, but the whole BakuCrew (their canon name, don’t look it up)
After months, you two are the most sappy, tooth-rotting couple in UA
Also, you’re now a member of the Crew, there’s no fighting it, you are designated Mom/Big Sister of those dumbasses (but they’re your dumbasses)
Includes helping him after he uses his quirk and is in That State
Mirio
Let’s be honest, in what universe could he not be perfect for you?
After how many years of being friends with Amajiki, he is basically the extremely introverted/socially awkward whisperer
100% approached you and tried to make conversation with you (which was most likely the equivalent of talking to a wall)
Continued doing this for a couple of weeks (bc, this boy is persistent) with Amajiki’s advice, for obvious reasons
Eventually invited you to hang out with him, Amajiki, and Nejire one day
Until, next thing you know, you’re instinctively talking with them, hanging out, even participating in inside jokes
Neither of you know how it happens, it’s just one day you both were only friends, then the next day you two are holding hands, calling each other ‘babe’ and other affectionate terms, and are just know as the PDA couple
You two are basically conjoined at the hip
Todoroki
You would be absolutely perfect for him
Todoroki is more reserved than a lot of class 1-A, which makes him understand your unwillingness to participate in social things
Starts off slow; First sitting in your general area, then slowly graduates to sitting next to you always
Will always look for you, then the seat next to you to see if it’s open
He just really enjoys being in the company of someone who’s like him (kinda, maybe minus the daddy issues)
Prolly doesn’t notice you dying because there’s a guy sitting next to you. and not just any guy bc he’s highkey oblivious to those kind of social things
Most likely thinks he’s putting too much heat off from his fire quirk and tries to lower his body temp
Eventually it turns into you two having your own conversation while everyone else is talking
This continues for a long while (prolly close to a year) because he wants to make sure you’re real and not getting close to him because of who his father is
That’s a personal HC I have with him
But after that “trial period”, he really warms up to you
Remembers all the little things about you (favorite flower, colour, ect.) and important dates
Is generally a sweet boy and fantastic in a relationship
Jin
Jin is a literally ball of sunshine that could be close to anyone
Exhibit A: Dabi
He’s especially considerate bc he knows 1. how hard it can be to communicate and 2. some things had to happen for you to join the League
Helps you talk with the others in the League, to the best of his ability
He’s a good man who tries to help in every way he can
Slowly-but-surely you two get closer
Will chill at the base with you, watching TV with you, try to give you tips on your social anxiety, and just be encouraging
You want to propose a new idea to Shigaraki? Jin’s your hype man. Wanna ask for more sauce with your meal but feel bad because the worker looks tired? Jin’s by your side, calmly whispering words of encouragement to you and with you the whole time

Might be that someone already asked but give us your wisdom. Headcanons for Felix and Élodie
Initially, they’re just shocked to see each other again. And in the realm. They haven’t crossed paths since they were kids. But then almost immediately things are uncomfortable.
Élodie is the one who got the kids to go into the internment camp, /and/ who personally activated the sigil that brought the Entity to them all. She is directly responsible for the loss of her own parents and Felix’s and all the others. So, seeing him again, her first thought after surprise and relief at a familiar human is “Oh no. He hates me.” And she immediately becomes reactively and agressively defensive of herself and her past actions, predicting hostility that isn’t there yet.
Since Felix’s paragraph never even mentions Élodie, I have to assume she does not play super majorly into his own trauma memories actually and he doesn’t harbor intense resentment towards her, and probably both doesn’t blame her for being the one to push them into that trek, and simply know she activated the sigil. So, he’s surprised and relieved (even though it’s kind of awkward), and then kind of just hurt because she’s immediately reactive around him and almsot seems to resent him. He probably gets kind of pissed (understandably) like “Well you were the one who sent us down there—I don’t know why you’d hate /me/ over it” and that only makes stuff worse.
Felix is very easy to push around and terrified and takes a long time before he gets used to the realm. He is a cautious and hesistant man in general, and very very very out of his depth, both from being kind of rich and cushioned against life, and just by nature. He takes a long time to adapt and is miserable and scared, but he really does try.
Claudette, who is also miserable and scared, and Dwight, who was long the same before adapting, are especially nice to him and work to help him adapt. So are Tapp, Jane, Jeff, and Ace, who also try—especially Jane, who is well versed, and Tapp, who has experience—to comfort and reassure him about his wife giving birth without him there and his family waiting back home.
Felix misses his wife deeply and would never cheat on her and abandon her and his infant child back home on favor of a steamy realm romance. (I hold Felix ships in contempt >.> my boy has no reason to be regarded a cheater fuck off leave him alone. He’s a decent enough fellow.)
Élodie is a lot braver than Felix. She adapts to the realm quickly for average, as she is used to danger, pain, and hardship. However, unlike Felix, who is afraid and weak initially due to his complete lack of hardship experience, but is team-oriented, Élodie is used to working alone, and is not a great teammate for a while. She doesn’t mean to be cruel, and she’s not like, unfeeling or unsympathetic. But her own experience is so rooted in self-preservation and operating solo, she takes time to get used to having to share that burden with others. And kind of is resistant to it at first. It’s just...not what’s in her programming. It’s been a long time since other people were aside from in a trade and at arm’s length at best.
The survivors are such a big family though eventually Élodie is overtaken by their genuiness and affection. I think Jane and/or Kate and maybe Dwight talk to her at least once, about how this is affecting teams, or about the group’s way of operating and relationships, but I think really it’s just being saturdated in Claudette asking her for help gardening and explaining new poultices, and Meg doing movie scripts theatrically and asking her questions all the time like an (endearingly) annoying little sister, and Jeff and Tapp and Adam always there to save her and take a hit in a trial, people singing together at camp, Dwight passing her supplies to help her get started. It the family. She gets so slowly warmed up to being genuinely cared for and wanted that her walls start to go down, and she starts unlearning her instinctive reactions and begins fighting to save not just her but them too, them before her sometimes, just because it truly becomes what she wants.
Élodie is fasinated by learing any kind of information that could be useful and very dedicated, so she spends a lot of time with Dwight, Claudette, Jane, Adam, Zarina, and Tapp especially, trying to track down any information that could help them escape eventually and stuff to help then survive in the meantime. Bc of her previous life and knowledge, she is extremely useful at this.
Also gets along well with David/Kate/Laurie and Yui and Zarina. After dying, she really really wants to pick up as much fighting skill as she can.
Felix gets along pretty well with everyone, but hangs out more with the chiller activites people like Adam, Ace, Tapp, Jeff, Jane, or Dwight/Quentin/Claudette.
After arriving in the realm, Felix feels bad most of his skills seem less useful. After Dwight talks to him, he decides to so the little he can, and that even if he’s not got worlds of skills for fighting or escaping the realm, it matters at least a little he /can/ make peoples’ lives better. So he adds some rudamintery shelters to the campfire area so they have a few little actual kind of partial buildings now. He’s not the most personally skilled with tools, but he has an expansive knowledge of how to make things function well and last and be given proper support, so he and Jake make a good team when it comes to home construction.
Things with Felix and Élodie are tense for a while. They don’t fight, per se, but because she anticipates that he hates her and is automatically basically hostilely defensive towards him in preperation for that, Felix feels very disliked by her as well. With some interveigning from the others—especially Jane and Dwight—things get a little more cordial. And Felix starts trying to work hard to make things work and dedicatedly saving her in trials. Élodie hates this, she thinks/tells herself because he’s trying to be superior/sanctimonious towards her, but in reality because she is crippled with guilt over what happened a long time ago. Still, after a while, she starts trying to save him hard too to be just as good, and it’s hard to hate somebody who has rescued you from death, so unintentionally this ends up tricking them both into starting to be chill with and enjoy each other again.
Eventually, there is a breaking point when they’re alone—maybe it’s late at night and Élodie or Felix asks the other to step away to talk. Maybe it’s in a trial, and Felix is offering to die so she can take the hatch, and she just can’t take it anymore. But it happens, and Élodie breaks down and asks why he’s doing this and says she knows he must hate her, and tries to apologize and defend herself viciously at the same time, and it’s a mess, and Felix never knew she actually summoned the thing at all and it’s like getting kicked in the stomach, and he doesn’t even know what to say or think. For so long he’s blamed himself; he’s never blamed her. But he didn’t know it was her fault, and it kind of is, and she’s falling apart, and he’s so overwhelmed, and what is he supposed to say? Is he supposed to forgive her? Supposed to hate her? But. He thinks for a second. He lost everything, but so did she—so did all of them. And she didn’t know. Nobody warned them, their parents could have, and didn’t. And she was a kid. Kids make mistakes—that’s living, that’s growing up. Adults do too. And he doesn’t hate her, and it doesn’t matter if he blames her, because it doesn’t matter who /is/ to blame. They were all kids, and it was a tragedy, not an act of hate or maliciousness, and that’s all that matters. They both lost everything, and all that matters is they do the best they can with what they have now.
And that’s what he tells her. And it’s hard to accept, but she’s so relieved. She breaks down and cries and apologizes for real, no equivocations, no defense, just sorry, and he tells her there’s nothing really to forgive because it was an accident, but that if there was, he would, and they’re friends after that day. Almsot inseperably. She’s there to ask about his wife and baby he hasn’t got to meet yet and to encourage him like the best friend he never had growing up, and he’s there to hear her theories and long spiels on fascinating finds, and ask about home and what she truly wants if they make it back like the best friend she never had either, and because she finally has people she loves, she has answers to that now.
