I have a headcanon for Jak and it's called first bite syndrome

it hurts, sometimes. but mostly it's just annoying. believe it or not, it only happens on the first bite. the back of your jaw, just under your ears, tingles. it can happen with anything. ice cream, steak, soup, soda. but only the first bite. never the second or last.

one time, i learned the tingling can get so intense it's actually very painful. i was working out, and instead of sipping normal ass water, i decided i wanted strawberry short cake gfuel in my water. and after some pushups and shit, i went to take a nice refreshing sip so my out of breath and sweaty ass could recover a bit and then get back to it, but no that was the harshest, most painful tingle in my jaw i had ever fucking felt in my entire life. and it didn't just happen on the "first bite" it was every single time i sipped it. so no longer was it first bite syndrome that day, it was Fuck Your Hydration Syndrome

had to continue the rest of the workout without any water because crossfit is expensive and i'm not a quitter

but yeah, jak has it. because i said so. just imagine TPL Jak eating something tasty and the first bite has him pushing his shoulder up into his jaw bc of the lil tingle there
