LISTEN!!!!!! i’ve been thinking about them the entire day. been at work and they’re just slowly rotating in my mind driving me to insanity

in the pool boy au living in my mind effie invites him into the house whenever fleamont isn’t home. he lounges around, making himself comfortable, determined to contamining every single space with his presence so effie will always think of him……… the first time they sleep together in monty and effies bed he turns their wedding photo down while looking her directly in the eye…… she’s smirking and forgets to fix it and fleamont sees it before bed and he’s all ’what happened to our picture?’ and effie just shrugs and says it must’ve fallen over. barty texts her that night asking if she’s thinking of what they did in her marital bed when she’s next to monty. she sends back a ’yes’.

barty is at her absolute beck and call he’ll do whatever she wants he wants to give her everything she’s been to afraid to demand from someone else. he’s up for everything and she’s not shy with him at all. she’s touching herself by the pool watching barty and he’s so caught off guard when he sees her that he falls into the pool. ’oh no!! lets go into the pool house and dry you off’ and as soon as the door closes he’s straddling her on the bed. effie LOVES it when he straddles her……….. she manhandles him into every position she wants him and he just LETS HER. goes along like whatever you say gorgeous

they talk about litterature and art and music and whenever they’re all snuggled up and smelling of sex they end up talking for well over an hour. he loves impressing her. he’s top of his class after all and he wants her to know. he wants to be enough for her and he wants to be more interesting than her boring ass husband. they get high together when monty is away at some business trip. he stays the night and they’re giggling and making out lazily and fucking and barty even left his phone at home. none of his friends know where he is and my mans does NOT care. effie thinks he’s so sweet and charming and yeah he looks cool and dangerous but then its 2 in the morning and he’s telling her about his upbringing or about his hopes and dreams or he’s telling her what her eyes makes him think of and she’s so fucking charmed. hes so fucking sweet when he wants to be and he so raaaaaarely wants to be!!!!!!!!! at first it was a silly little game to barty just flirting with a hot milf and maybe even sleeping with her but now he’s captivated body and soul and he would probably kill monty if she asked him to……. he dreams about it and them running away together

he tells her about all his tattoos and how most of them are stupid and he just did them because he simply wanted to and effie kisses each one when he tells her. they’re naked the entire weekend they spend together and oh no!!!!! monty is home early!!!!! barty has to jump from the window and make it out of there!!!!!! effie gives him a nasty snog when he’s hanging from the window and bites his lip and when he’s home she texts him that she’s already bored without him

Hypermobility test shows hypermobility in spine, elbows, and knees. No other signs of EDS, tentatively ascribed to his abilities.

Dietitian consult: nothing concrete yet. They discuss Danny’s eating habits, deal frankly with the fact that they don’t know what his exact dietary needs are, and talk about intuitive eating. Danny gets a list of signs to look out for and things to try.

Endocrinologist consult: they discuss Danny’s concerns and assess his current stage of puberty. Danny states (visibly mortified) that he has grown two inches since his accident, no vocal deepening, no facial or body hair, no reproductive function benchmarks. They discuss various possible causes of delayed puberty (excessive exercise, psychosocial problems, physical trauma, irradiation) as well as treatment options. Danny asks what circumstances would normally have them recommend inducing puberty (bullying, ostracization, distress) and they finally decide to go ahead and induce it.

Semen analysis: Danny is producing normally but the sperm die before exiting.

Slit-lamp exam shows tapetum lucidum in human form and odd eye structure in ghost form.

Autonomic nervous system tests:

Human fNIRS, EEG, and MEG brain scans were used primarily for mapping. Showed normal activity for motor function and sensory activity, slightly reduced activity for memory exercises and problem solving, and substantially reduced activity for emotional responses.

Ghost EEG and MEG brain scans were used primarily for mapping. Showed no activity for motor function, mild activity for sensory and memory functions, and moderate activity for problem solving and emotional responses. No brain stem activity. (fNIRS not performed because it monitors blood oxygen activity in the brain and his ghost form doesn't have that)

Human MRI scan is largely normal, but shows darkened nerves on the left hand.

Ghost MRI scan indicated that his insides are abnormally malleable but highly coherent. Nerve damage is much less apparent owing to minimal function.

Human EMF reading showed increased activity corresponding to reduced brain activity.

Ghost EMF reading showed moderate activity for everything except emotional responses, which indicated strong activity.

Nerve conduction study shows severe nerve damage in ulnar and median nerves in human form, no nerve response in ghost form.

Electromyography shows that very few electrical signals are being transmitted in his left hand, Danny moves his hand with Magic. Otherwise normal readings in human form, ghost form shows no readings at all.

Polysomnography shows several signs associated with hibernation, making Danny’s sleep deeper, but his brain waves still indicate REM sleep in a normal pattern.

All biopsies normal except the inclusion of ectoplasm.

Microneurography was for mapping only.

The doctors manage to create an external device that can monitor the EMF activity of Danny’s core in milligauss, as well as his core pitch. It outputs it as a graph. Danny’s core EMF is 3,210, and his resting surface EMF in ghost form is around 2,000, with a total range of 200 feet. In human form, this is significantly reduced to 800 mG at the surface, and a range of 80 feet. (GIW sensors only detect as low as 900 mG, while the Fentons’ goes as low as 750.)

Core EMF level varies from ghost to ghost, measured on a scale that goes from 1 to 300. This is found to be equivalent to 15 to 4500 milligauss. All but around 2/3 of radiation is naturally contained, but the amount rises rapidly with power use.

Anyone wanna tell me why this lemur only ever gives herself 3 seconds to feel sad before shoving it away?

You could easily argue that this is Tangle being mature. Putting aside how she feels, stopping herself from dwelling about the past for too long. Which is a noble trait to have to an extent.

Like, those were both instances where she saw people die (only supposedly in issue 60’s case but still). Yes, good for her that she’s pushing herself to focus on her task at hand, but like, Tangle, no one was gonna penalize you for taking 57 more seconds to cry😭

As I’ve said before, it really depends on how frequently she does this to determine how good or bad this behavior is for her.

Another thing, Tangle is known for being a very expressive, very emotional and emotionally-driven character. It’s interesting that she can also be so eager to gulp it back down when the big sad feels come up. And do it so quickly.

Although, it makes sense too. Someone who is more emotional/empathetic would have probably had to learn to reel it in sometimes after being “too dramatic”

Hopefully after all the crap she went through in Urban Warfare, she took time to talk to someone.

However, while Tangle is often interpreted as a very “wears her heart on her sleeve” type of character, she’s shown to not be incapable of keeping things to herself.

She even seemed to be embarrassed to talk about how she’s feeling with Jewel, her best friend, in front of others,

but she’s comfortable to open up when it’s just the two of them.

thinking about post-crash travis (like. freshly post-crash travis.)

travis clutching nat’s hand on the plane ride home because he doesn’t trust anyone else and doesn’t want to sit alone?

his mom coming to his hospital room (because you canNOT tell me that these poor kids aren’t going to be taken to a hospital straightaway!) and just breaking down crying, holding his hands and telling him she loves him.

he tells her that both javi and his dad died in the initial crash. he can’t look her in the eye when he says it but she doesn’t push. she’s certain she’d rather not know.

i’d assume that travis would be separated from the other yellowjackets because he’s a man, and he’s alone and fucking haaaates it. but he knows he’d get in trouble if he snuck to one of their rooms, because people would assume he’s doing something nefarious. but like. nat sneaking into his room because she doesn’t want to sleep alone, and she knows they’ll both get in trouble but she can’t bring herself to care, and neither does he.

surprisingly, they don’t get in trouble when morning comes. nat’s moved into the same room as him. nobody judges that they somehow end up in each other’s beds every night, clutching at each other.

post-crash travis (or ANY OF THE GIRLS FOR THAT MATTER) having a panic attack when his mom is taking a plane to go somewhere (idk where just bear with me) and calling her the moment she’s supposed to have landed. he doesn’t relax until she picks up.

post-crash travis who can’t force himself to speak at his dad’s funeral. he tries to speak at javi’s but ends up standing there for a few minutes in silence. everyone thinks it’s a choice. it’s not.

natalie’s at the funeral too. her and van were the only girls who got invited.

post-crash travis who doesn’t leave the house for a good few months after the crash. the first time he leaves is to go see lottie before she gets sent away. his mom thinks it’s sweet that he cares so much, but he comes back looking worse than he did before. he cries for the first time that night and ends up calling natalie. she comes over right away and stays for hours.

post-crash travis who gets his ged and gets the fuck out. natalie tries to fight him on it and asks if he wants her to come with. he says no.
