The fact that Z immediately put her signet ring with Tom's initials back on after her nails were done when the manicurist was taking photos/vids of her new nails confirms to me that the ring is the equivalent of a collar and Tom is dom. In this essay I will...
Ease back into it damn.

physically disabled person: hi
every abled neurodivergent person in the whole world: Hi I know this isn't about autism but I have executive dysfunction and I really think we should talk about that more not to derail or anything I just wanted to share my experience :) don't forget that not all disabilities are visible! I have anxiety and depression and this explains sooo much!
#wrenfea.exe#please just...learn when its not about you#can we have one goddamn conversation without the comments being filled with people like this#was watching a video reviewing an aid for physically disabled people and the comments were 90% about neurodivergence#and if you politely tell people to knock it off they say you're invalidating their struggles and being ableist and gatekeepihn#like i had to dig through all those comments to find some from actually physically disabled people so i could see what they thought#because i was trying to figure out if itd work for me#idc if you dont like it bc it gives you anxiety the product wasn't made for you!!!#chronic disability#chronic pain#disabilities#cpunk#cripplepunk#angry cripple#also before anyone dogpiles me im saying everyone in the world to give a sense of just how many comments theres seems to be#not that i think every neurodivergent person is like this (im neurodivergent)#chronic illness#physically disabled#mobility aids

you are umasou
#I watched it today it was so good#im not big on dinosaur stuff but i like how it was used to approach the predator/prey conversation especially when both sides are sentient#instead of just defaulting to well since predators are meat eaters their actions are automatically immoral so their role in the story#has to match. and then when your characters /are/ meat eaters you just step around that whole topic#heart knows he has to kill and eat so there’s no avoiding it but even he knows he has agency over that#hell he even decided to hunt by himself so umasou doesn’t have to see him kill and eat another dinosaur a day after meeting him#and maybe its because it’s a kids movie but it also doesn’t make a big show over the act of hunting and eating. it doesn’t dwell on it#like yes you can clearly see them ripping into guts minus the graphic details but it doesnt go out of its way to censor it either#its played straight just like hearts mom having more kids like nobody asks who the father is or when that happened cuz it doesn’t matter#what matters is she still loves heart and encourages her kids to greet their big brother and they do!!! it’s sweet#Beckon was also an interesting touch bc they make it clear the only reason he doesnt eat umasou is bc he cant and not that he wouldn’t#but he’s still a funny and interesting character and that doesn’t get in the way of how we see him too much#same for baku he was pretty polite with heart esp from the start when he asks him if hes abandoned implying he would be prepared to#look out for him from the start. and at the end when he decides to spare him. I dont hate him at all hes just intimidating#you are umasou#doodles#I wanted to draw smth more detailed but I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go with the cartoony art style#or smth closer to realistic?? so this is like. some sort of compromise I guess

I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.
The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.
Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.
If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?
Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.
#hey little star whatcha gonna queue?#and before I get any angry anons saying I’m making the argument that both sides are the same#I am not. and nowhere did I say that#and if your immediate reaction to any amount of criticism of leftist spaces or communication#is knee jerk outrage and defensiveness#this is an invitation to explore why that is for you.#this isn’t about anyone on here this is from conversations I’ve had with a few people IRL who have shared leftist misinformation a lot#so if you’re feeling attacked by this post and I haven’t directly spoken to you multiple times about misinformation with you responding bac#this isn’t. a vague post. about you. okay?#I cannot reiterate enough THIS IS AFTER IRL INTERACTIONS NOT A CAL OUT VAGUEPOST#and as one final note. IF YOU FOLLOW PEOPLE. WHO CONSTANTLY USE. THE MOST INFLAMMATORY WORDING CHOICES POSSIBLE.#YOU SHOULD NOT FOLLOW THOSE PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT THEY TALK ABOUT.#no one communicating in true good faith to ALL PEOPLE about facts uses loaded language more than occasionally#the sooner you learn that the better. and that really starts narrowing down the pool of who you want to actually listen to (while still#verifying anything they tell you)#get higher standards!!!! and read some books or watch lectures about actual effective communication to broad groups without using tribalism#and also. anyone on the left trying to convince you of massive efforts and conspiracies that are anti everything#is also wrong 99% of the time and not a good source to listen to#never EVER assume conspiracy when it can be more simply explained through either#ignorance obliviousness incompetence financial greed or misunderstandings#the end. I’m really done this time. I’m just sick of seeing so many people fall prey to this#shh katie#cult escapee#politics and current events#don’t get swept up in the constant tsunami of performative online activism#election 2024#world events

I'm stealing this from my lit teacher but he posed that something certain characters in arcane s2 missed were 'Zuko Alone' moments. Moments where characters took an extended amount of time to introspect, face the consequences of their actions, and connect with the wider world. This, to me, is why Caitlyn's arc wasn't as effective as it could've been. After a switch-up, after a big 180 like hers, it is simply necessary to track the progression of her arc. It's easy to say "In hating you, I've hated myself" and "no amount of good deeds can undo our crimes" but when you don't see her face the Zaunites or acknowledge the class-privileges she exploited, it all rings a little hollow. Arcane usually does a good job of tying the personal with the political and I think that's hidden in Cait's arc. She works as a character when you're understanding her actions in relation to her love for Vi and forgiveness of Jinx. She doesn't if you think of it on a wider socio-political scale. It's just a little odd when the show is such an arbiter of 'show don't tell'. That line has to do alot of heavy lifting. Alas, what time restraints does to an arc.
#i say this with so much love btw cait is very precious to me#i think her arc still works to some degree but like i said - could've been a lot more effective esp in terms of political messaging#i also hate the tone of the discourse around her rn. where did all the nuance go. get behind me and also cait go stand in the corner.#also before anyone says anything i know that she gives up her council seat to sevika. we should've gotten a conversation.#i think we might've if they didn't have to cut the episode for time#it's not a matter of 'OMG ARCANE HAS TO SPELL EVERYTHING OUT FOR YOU'#you don't hinge a key character moment on an implication#it's the fact that it would fix the 'cait doesn't engage with the consequences of her actions' issue AND prove important for Sevika's arc#by solidifying the fact that she's now in Vander's position working alongside Caitlyn (the spiritual successor of Grayson)#the burden would also rest on Caitlyn to put in the work#which is so much less insidious than Sevika's lone appearance at the council#anyway this is all canon to me personally#arcane#arcane spoilers#arcane season 2#caitlyn kiramman#jp musings

just came off my shift as an election judge and I honestly think we should make people do this. I support abolishing the draft, and I even think that jury duty can get complicated, but everyone in the country should be forced to learn about election procedure, then have to sit around for 14 hours and practice being customer service for democracy. I think that would fix us.
#is it fascinating scintillating work that will set you on fire for political discourse? no.#in my experience it is mostly making amiable conversation with elderly citizens#and occasionally complimenting people's penmanship#are some people....strange? absolutely yes.#and I heard even WEIRDER stories from my colleagues who were pollworkers before.#not even about the voters; about other pollworkers!#but I spent 14 hours (and some change) in a too-hot room half falling apart; I set up voting booths and counted colored tags#and was polite to everyone even the people who didn't talk or needed detailed explanations of every step.#I feel like it's victory enough.#anyway. enough on this subject! onto other things.#............................................at least until november when I'll do it again.#man's unending search for freedom

L for Minister AU
Light Yagami is desperate to know L's name and face. To know everything about his nemesis ("So I can kill him! Ryuk, stop laughing!"). And so, he turns on the TV, sees the promo video for the upcoming elections and thinks...
L would have to show up in person, unmasked and with his real name, if he was an elected Minister.
A few hours of paperwork filed anonymously and through a shady lawyer, a few hours of hacking and anonymous donations, and The Great Detective L is the latest minister candidate, running as an independent.
L does not know how or why he is suddenly running in the elections. Was this even legal? He wasn't even a citizen! Surely no one would vote for a candidate with no public appearances, a profile page with no photo, obviously overblown promises in propaganda -
Apparently, they would.
#L for Minister AU#Originally this was an 'L for President' AU#Because some countries (like the USA) elect their presidents in a direct election. So plot wise that would work.#But not *all* countries#And to be elected prime Minister as an anonymous candidate is even more impossible#So L for Minister it is 😂#Light does a bunch of fake propaganda#However he's such a perfectionist it all looks professionally#Wammy's M&M gets invested too. If L wants to be a government official then they will make damn sure he will!#The Task Force supports him#But quietly because politics isn't a workplace conversation even when your boss is running for an elected office.#Unfortunately no one asks or informs L until it's too late#And then L is running... running... elected#L is shook because he isn't even a citizen?#Light is shook too because this was his most absurd plan? And it succeeded? When he'd thought it as a backup joke plan?#Anyways. Minister L. Crack AU. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.#Death note#l lawliet#Light Yagami#lawlight#Because L knows this was smh Kira's fault#He's not going to suffer through public office alone#Light is his selected second/assistant/whatever the term is#They're going to suffer government bureaucracy together ✨

This is purely speculation on my end, but I've noticed that it seems like people (specifically younger queer people, partially under forty) are so used to queerphobes indignantly saying, "you have the right to marry, what more can you want?! Why do you shove it down our throats?!" that they internalize the idea that gay marriage and other rights were only fought for for queer assimilation.
The push for things like gay marriage wasn't just "to assimilate," and especially after the AIDs crisis, you very well could watch your lover or friend or mentor die in front of you and have no recourse. No protections. No guarantee that you could even say goodbye. Learning that - as a young queer myself - hammered home how important these things can be. To get where we are now didn't happen because of the magical benevolence of the cishets. We fought for that shit. We died for that shit.
Again, this is speculation, but I don't think young queers (even me) will truly understand the scope of queer history. It takes effort to learn about this, but it is an effort worth pursuing every single time. At the least, we owe it to honour the people who came before us who have sacrificed so much. We owe our communities that much, at least.
#queer#lgbt#lgbtq#politics#it just irks me to see the 'why werent queers of the past trying to move to reprioritize marriage 🙄'#it gives off the same vibes as 'why transition? shouldn't you abolish gender altogether🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. hashtag owned!'#it's just...please learn about history. even the aids crisis ALONE was harrowing to learn - but it's so important#i don't see assimilation as what you do per se but rather what you believe in#queer assimilation isn't getting married and having kids - it's (to me) an attitude of queerness#it's devaluing queerness and thinking of it as lesser - so you will distance yourself intrinsically from it#maybe that's the same to some people but i don't see it that way#and even then the conversion of this alone is nuanced and complicated#instead of blaming an individual i tend to blame the systems in place that lead people to devaluing themselves and who they are

Collection of edits from this comic with Disco Elysium dialogue.
#What do I even tag this#mdzs#mdzs disco elysium au#There are so many line that work very well for them. Alas I was constrained by the panels I had.#So many hbd and kim conversations fit the wangxian dynamic its unreal.#Once again I am politely holding out Disco Elysium as a recommendation: So long as you are aware of it's content and warnings.#It is truly one of the most hopeful games about trauma and despair. It is hilarious in a way that frames the tragedy perfectly.#Be warned that it is a dark and heavy read. But it is truly a life changing experience.#It helped my get out of a bad place in realizing how much I was hurting myself by trying to hold onto the past and regrets.#Go in as blind as you can. If you are ready for it - you will not regret playing this game.#In other news...yeah okay so I meant to spend the rest of my saturday drawing more pd-mdzs#Then I started watching Link Click.... oops where did the time go?#Permit me another day of stalling and I will have comics coming soon. Might sprinkle some LC doodles in the mix too.

as I am replaying origins -- a game which, to be clear, I love very VERY much -- I can't help but feel that people do don the rose coloured glasses on it a bit specifically when it comes to the range of dialogue options you're actually given to work with at any given time (something I've seen my fair share of silent vs. voiced protagonist discourse about over the years *smokes tired cigarette in survivor of a decade of DA tumblr*). like... there are a couple of situations where you're given a decent range of responses, but the vast majority of the time you have about three dialogue options, and often they're presented sort of like 'polite/bland/unprovoked near-cartoonish levels of assholery'. arranged like, y'know:
I am [BLANK]. It's an honor to make your acquaintance.
You can call me [BLANK].
How dare you speak to me. Fuck you and your family back five generations. I'm going to rob your mother's grave before your eyes.
(sometimes if you're real lucky you get the secret extra 'Something else/I'm bald/but I'm a dwarf!' option)
I'm not at all saying it's worse in that aspect than the other games (Dalish Inquisitor 'Who's Mythal' just entered the chat), but I do think it's worth considering that this might be a bit of a franchise original sin that has been present since the beginning, as indeed it is in most rpgs because making rpgs is real hard, and you notice it more with the dialogue wheel format than when the responses and questions you can ask are all laid out in a list together
#sometimes you also have 'sane and relatively polite' and then two different flavours of cartoonish assholery haha#or 'three barely rephrased versions of the same sentiment'. listen. It's hard to make a game sometimes you just need to get the player#through to the next part of the conversation I understand that perfectly haha#dragon age#I personally like the clarity the dialogue wheel gives you as to what is a question that'll loop you back#to uh the trunk of the conversation tree as it were and what responses move the conversation along and make those unavailable#you basically just have to feel the vibe on that in origins sometimes and it stresses me out even now#(also nice to know when you've flirted with a companion it's always sad to ninjamance someone and then have to crush their dreams lol)#but I absolutely see how some people might prefer the list layout and see the whole line their character will be saying#the dialogue options you get before facing uldred especially are. fucking wild tho#I think they're trying to do a whedonesque deadpan comedy exchange with the crazy guy (which like sure it was a different time)#but especially if you're a mage and just witnessed the devastation of everyone and everything you've ever known... weird vibe!

morning! like probably the rest of you i both slept and feel like shit. In a way, that’s why this tumblr exists for me, to detach: I’m on a personal level going to take a couple days off of news and phone alerts and block the politics tag, just to level out and calm down. And that means I’m also going to go back to my usual spam here. Disassociation. 🙃
#like for real. for my own mental health i need to have a conversation place that is just#silly fun fandom things#for better or for worse my tumblr is it#i sometimes worry i come off as callous or uncaring#but like. i don’t want to do performative shit either#make this tumblr a politics and real life blog to prove some imaginary people i care#which is no knock on politics and real life blogs#i just need a space. for silly pointless shit that doesn’t matter#to stay sane#anyway i am legit exhausted so not sure this made sense#don’t take my quick return to fandom stuff as a sign i don’t care about things etc#that’s all

I've referenced before how I have a big google document to keep track of every media I've ever seen in my entire life (just for reference because I like to track everything possible lol… I am the Data Collector), but recently as I was updating it, I thought of actually evaluating them to find out random percentages (like for example, out of Total Shows Watched, what percentage did I finish vs. stop watching, what percentage did I like or dislike, etc.)...
Evaluating these things is made easier by the fact that I already place everything on each subsection of the list into 6 broad ranking categories, so I don't have to go back and guess to figure out how I feel about them or anything. The categories are: Ranking 5 - overall best* (despite some criticisms of course because I'm too much of an Analyzer to ever find anything Perfect lol) Ranking 4 - more positive than neutral, but not good enough to be 5 Ranking 3 - either the good + bad negate each other, OR it's just not memorable/interesting in any way enough to be ranked higher or lower (this is the Default category ALL things are placed in if no other rank applies) Ranking 2 - maybe a few redeemable elements but largely more negatives than positives Ranking 1 - So bad that it circles around to being fascinating to observe in some way (not necessarily Funny, or Good, but just interesting somehow) Ranking 0 - Bad in a genuinely frustrating or obnoxious manner
*("best" primarily defined here as most interesting, rather than most good in a technical sense, or some other measure. I tend to value more highly whether there's something novel or thoughtful about the worldbuilding, tone, writing, base premise, etc - than about whether it's actually executed perfectly.)
And here's the amount of shows that have so far been placed into each category -
TV shows ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 20 shows ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 28 shows ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 114 shows ~ Rank 2 (mid low) -33 shows ~ Rank 1 (low low but intriguingly so) - 14 shows ~ Rank 0 (iredeemably low) - 2 shows
This would make for a total of 211 TV shows overall. However, there are 57 shows within these list marked as "didn't finish" (typically meaning I quit on the very first or second episode - but log them still to keep a record that I at least had a brief view of them).
So my total of genuinely fully watched shows would be more 154. 211 Total, but a More Accurate Total of 154.
Counting them all and using the Total Number Of The List (211) -- that means roughly 9.5% of all total shows I have ever watched (or at least attempted to watch) have been Mostly Good, 13% have been Moderately Okay, 54% have been either entirely Forgettable or some mix of good + bad that lands them right in the Neutral Middle, 15.6% have been Mostly Bad, 6.6% have been Bad (but in an interesting way), and 0.9% have been Terribly Bad.
Additionally, I didn't even get past the first two episodes of about 27% of the total.
Sooo, discounting ones I didn't finish, my total TV shows ever watched in my life would be about 154 (maybe give or take a few, assuming I might have forgotten some from very long ago).
But instead of entire life, let's just say this is the total for 'About 20 Years' (so, not counting very early childhood when I likely wouldn't remember things I saw/have no detailed recollection of them (like for example, I'm sure at some point when I was like 4yrs old I must have seen an episode of Spongebob or something, but I have zero distinct memories of it, can't quote anything of it, and barely recall the premise - so I don't count it on the list, etc.)).
In that case, 154 divided by 20 would be roughly 7.7 shows a year.
Which is actually surprisingly low considering that I often have stuff on in the background for hours whilst I make sculptures and do costumes and stuff (maybe I should have also marked some distinction between 'things I fully paid attention to' and 'things I kind of half listened to whilst sculpting', but that would further split the categories too much probably lol), but I guess a lot of that is youtube videos or random documentaries, so .. eh.. maybe I get it being lower.
Now, doing the same thing for movies-
Movies ~ Rank 5 (highest) - 4 movies (3.4% of total) ~ Rank 4 (mid-high) - 12 movies (10.3% of total) ~ Rank 3 (neutral/default/meh) - 91 movies (78.4% of total) ~ Rank 2 (mid low) - 8 movies (6.8% of total) ~ Rank 1 (low but interesting) - 1 movie (0.8% of total) ~ Rank 0 (irredeemably low) - none in this category (0%)
That makes 116 for a Total (Actually Remembered) Movies Watched In Lifetime (Or At Least In 20 Years).
116 divided by 20 is roughly 5 or 6 movies a year (I feel this has probably been skewed though by adding everything since like elementary school onwards, as I remember a lot more movies from child/teen years.. Whereas, the past 3 years I feel like I've barely seen maybe even 5 movies?? lol). I also have "Didn't Finish" marked on 18 of them. Which means I quit halfway through about 15% of the total movies.
So, a for broader summary stuff..
I seem to be less forgiving to movies than tv shows, by far. Which makes sense to me, I guess, because I love elaboration and details, so "short form" things that only last an hour or two are often lost on me a bit. My biggest complaint with movies is indeed usually walking away just wishing there had been more exposition, more scenes where characters are doing nothing, more "mindless bantering" conversations, more Quiet Downtime and Lore Elaboration and so on lol, so... of course most 1-2hr films end up feeling a bit Not Enough To Draw My Interest/Nothingy to me.
If you count 5 and 4 as "like" and rankings 2 to 0 as "dislike", then for TV shows I at least somewhat liked 48 of them, and at least somewhat disliked 47 of them.. So it's almost exactly the same lol. I'm just about equally as likely to find something bad as I am to find something redeeming about it. But overall, the largest chance is that I just won't really care much for it at all and it will be tossed into the 'neutral' pile, forgotten forever. Movies have a bit better of a balance, "liking" 16 of them, and "disliking" only 9 of them. So I'm slightly more likely to enjoy a movie than to find it annoying - though still VASTLY more likely to just not find it anything in particular, possibly not even finishing it.
ANYWAY.. this is vague and literally pointless, but like I said, I just really find information fun. Like my document where I've rated every apple flavor I've ever tried (like 40 of them now?), or reviewed every oreo flavor (32?), or ranking data from my entire 10 years of Trying To Make Friends process (out of 100 people, roughly 8% chance of a moderate compatibility, 3% chance of high), or etc. etc.. I love to have random pointless things to analyze I suppose lol.
I doubt anyone tracks things in their life in this same exact way, but I'd be interested in hearing any at least somewhat similar data !!! (like, how many TV shows you watch a year on average, and what percentage of those you like vs. dislike (if you keep track of that sort of thing), etc.)). I guess it might be easier with movies, since I think some people use those websites where you curate a list of movies you've seen and you can rate them or something, so maybe the numbers are already available on those places. :0
#maybe this is my version of spotify wrapped lol.. Lifetime Media Google Doc Wrapped.. kind of.. except I'm not going over specific titles.#I can't do this with music since I rarely EVER look for new music or add to my Youtube To MP3 folder library as I just don't really#listen to music that often. When I'm working (the majority of when I seek background noise) I need like.. people's talking voices#for some reason. Just instruments and singing are not distracting enough to me to work as background noise because theyre#almost TOO in the background if that makes sense? like if I put music on then I just tune it out and it's virtually no different#than if I were daydreaming stream of consciousness thoughts in an entirely quiet room lol. And I can't really do it with books since#essentially 100% of what I read is non-fiction. usually about some specific subject or academic topic OR stuff like#1800s magazines or cookbooks or historical people's diaries. Which is not really.. the type of thing I would#rank as easily I guess? like 'ooh yeah putting the sociology textbook in my top 5 hee hee right next to the 1920s radio recipes book' lol.#Then for games... I just sadly dont play enough of them. I've been banned from new games as I've told myself I cant play anyting#long form (no rpgs or etc) until I actually finish MY OWN game first - to keep me from wasting time. so on average#I play... 0 new games a year. ToT... I do play the sims sometimes but that's really all (which is not a new game at all since#I've been playing it on and off for years). Thus I guess movies/TV are really the only things that make sense#to collect this sort of information on. I could do youtube videos I guess also but that seems kind of strange like...#giving a rating to every single video I watch in a ranked list lol.. Especially since I would say a good 85% of the time#they are exclusively background noise whilst I'm working on something or cleaning the house or etc. and not things I pay serious attention#to. There are only a few specific topics/types/creators of videos I watch where I'm ACTUALLY sitting in front of a screen paying#direct attention to the content (usually when it's educational or political things). Everything else is too mindless to even rank.#ANYWAY... ever analyzing my little hermit Weird Relationship To Media (in the sense of seemingly not processing or getting the same#things out of it as many other seem to). I think that can contribute sometimes to the whole difficulty socializing and stuff#since our culture is very centered around media consumption generally speaking. People want to talk about The New Movie that came#out or The Big TV Show Of The Year. and for me it's like.. highly likely I just plain have NOT seen it. Or if i have. statistically#I most likely was entirely ambivalent if not slightly negative towards it lol. Which just kind of takes the steam out of a 'fun' 'casual'#conversation and you seem like a bit of a bummer if most of your only feedback is either 'idk what that is' or 'oh yea... i did#see that one.... i didnt like it all that much though... I think it'd be better with elves in it.. and 7 hours longer..'' lol..#Which I am not disliking things in a 'grr i hate it bc its popular'/just to be contrarian way. I actually dislike that mindset/find it#silly (by striving so hard to be counterculture you are thus still defining yourself by the whims of external culture - just in the#opposite direction. but are still just as preoccupied with the mainstream (going against it) as everyone else. etc. lol..)) In my#case I think it IS just having niche hyperspecific tastes.. for example- it peeves me when cell phones are in media bc I dont want to be#reminded at ALL of the real world. so.. cross off anything set in modern times. so on & etc. Judging all things by these weird criteria lol

Voting is not activism, it's a chess move
Because you all get COMPLICT whenever you vote for blue and then wipe your hands and say the job is done.
No it's not.
This country has a problem with instant results. You think change happens overnight?
You have to FIGHT to keep the rights and freedoms that you have. It's a constant battle because you will always have people who think Trans people, BIPOC, disabled and many other minority groups shouldn't exist
That we should be lesser than them and corporations
If you actually give a damn about the people the hashtags you put in your bio. You will fight.
Because it's not about your morality. It's not about your conscience being clear.
We all wish to be voting on POLICY but for the last four years and now, we are fighting to keep one man and Project 2025 out of office.
We are not voting for one person, we are voting for an administration. Register to vote, tell people you know the dangers of what's happening, double check you are registered to vote
Literally that's all I can say at this point. But for the love of Hecate VOTE BLUE
And THEN ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE
Change isn't gonna happen if you don't vote. Voting is a chess move. Fucking act like it for once
#us politics#politics#vote blue#honestly some of yall are conversative in your minds cause you get so bigoted when someone likes something you dont like#unpack that#quickly#they are coming for all of us

actually if you come onto a post and call a person a zionist despite that having absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the conversation, i think you are stupid at best and more than likely actively an antisemitic shithead, and i'm not going to listen to anything else you have to say. congratulations your concern trolling just cost you all of your potential rhetorical authority and also got you blocked.

#and then… it will be time for me to say goodbye i think#some darkstar politics in here#driven by an essay I read last year titled tinted blue: Air Force culture & American civil-military relations#everyone has a different idea of what modern warfare will look like#1 & 2 are from the same section obviously… i just think it’s interesting#& i wrote elsewhere in may maybe that ice & mav would be on opposite sides of this debate#ice with his big picture managerial perspective… it’s good for warfare… mav with his specialist pilot loyalty POV#obviously their conversation predates the russia-ukraine war which has shown drone warfare in its fullest to date potential#4. is… idk. does it help to tell you it takes place in 2014?#3. *#pete maverick mitchell#tom iceman kazansky#icemav#top gun#top gun maverick#top gun fanfiction#sorry for the like defense ethics conversations if that’s boring#i just think that stuff is philosophically so interesting

if you had to smite from the earth either nixon or garfield who would you eliminate. history will continue unchanged except if you smite nixon all the nixon memes disappear and if you smite garfield the orange cat goes with him
I would sacrifice anything that is dear to me to scrub this animal from all the veins of culture that it has slithered into. I was frustrated with the Garfield comic strip from the twentieth of August, 2024.
Jim Davis has given up trying to claw from the mud. He has drawn a cat looking at the reader and telling a wet joke. By making Garfield a mere static image to surround text, Davis has taken the work of his heart and lowered it to the level of the borders that surround a pop up window. My feelings on this topic eclipse and obliterate any other nuances to your question. If ever presented a shot at this king, I would take it.
#If we're being serious#I've been finding Garfield an interesting person to read about#as far as I can tell he isn't openly evil in the ways that US presidents and politicians tend to be#and in many ways is virtuous‚ extremely academic‚ fought in the civil war‚ he just seems to be a decent guy who was president for a bit#who knows what he'd done if he hadn't been shot though.#otherwise gilded age politics are fucking bananas and its very entertaining to learn about them#entirely believable that they were using the same system that we use now because the same shit happens#Nixon on the other hand is a monster. He's pop culture's caricature of an evil president#I find him fascinating for very different reasons‚ partly because we have so much on him with all the phone conversations he recorded#there's something really cool about being able to hear how the president verbally reacted when hearing about something big over the phone#https://youtu.be/WwBD49fD1UM?si=j-uWUbM0L0M0OUqS#incredible privilege to be able to listen to some of his drunken phone calls#and we have so many more photos of him than Garfield too#his administration was wacky and I'd love to read more about it#bizarre stuff went on in his white house and his mind#I guess I don't know what my answer would be
