Loki: ah the avengers must be a little wary of me now, though they know not only the truth about the invasion but all my crimes entailed before
The Avengers, standing outside his door with blankets and pillows: Natasha said you wouldn't stop us having a sleepover at your place if we behaved properly

Maxiel + quote requested by anonymous :
“You could drown in those eyes, I said. The fact of his pulse, the way he pulled his body in, out of shyness or shame or a desire, not to disturb the air around him. Everyone could see the way his muscles worked, the way we look like animals, his skin barely keeping him inside. I wanted to take him home, and rough him up and get my hands inside him, drive my body into his like a crash test car.” - Richard Siken.

A perhaps controversial opinion, but the fact that I can't interact with actors/writers/musicians etc here is a benefit.
If I saw y'all tagging actors and directors in your suggestive art and lukewarm takes here I would have to leave social media all together.
I've been following Neil Gaiman for close to 10 years and everyday I am impressed both by the questions people think it's okay to ask him, and his immense patience in answering them.
I think part of this too, is fandoms continued reliance on the information those involved in a show provide, in interviews or tweets or tiktoks, being more important than the media itself.
An actor's response to a question about their character can certainly be insightful, but it's not canonical, and it holds no more sway than anyone else's opinion on the same point.
The same goes for anyone else involved, including writers/creators. A writer cannot "confirm" or "disprove" anything about the actual text in an interview - they can talk about the process of creating something, and they can talk about their opinions on the meaning of something. But I am begging everyone to understand that these are only opinions.
I think it's fun to read interviews and to learn these opinions! But please please please stop telling others that their views are wrong because "[media personality] already spoke about [their opinion]" Or proclaiming that something is now "confirmed" for the same reason.
High school English class really did a number on y'all, and the way some actors/writers etc. are incredibly patient and willing to answer questions constantly isn't helping in terms of leaving this behind either.
