eddie’s going on a tinder date with a cute guy named steve.

he likes his freckles, brown eyes and cheeky grin. they don’t have much in common but the conversations they have in the app messages flows suspiciously easily. he’s a bit in love and antsy at the table as he watches the door anxiously for his date.

he sees person after person walk into the bar and his beer is dripping condensation onto his hand as he grips it, nerves shooting through the roof. eddie glances at the table and then back up to the door when a guy walks in and if eddie wasn’t waiting for his date, he’d want to go talk to him.

he’s cute, hot even, floppy brown hair and a charming grin, hands shoved into the pockets of his coat as he looks around the bar. his shirt clings to him in just the right way and his jeans fit him a bit too perfectly. eddie can’t help but stare and then the guy is staring back while he waves, ducking his head as he walks over.

“hey, eddie,” the man breathes out, his cheeks tinged pink from the wind. “sorry i'm late. parking was a bitch.”

and eddie’s confused. because this guy has brown eyes but not the ones he expected. freckles that are more spread out and distinct, trailing down to his neck instead of blanketing his face. his smile is perfect and he’s looking at eddie like he knows him. eddie’s a bit stunned, gaping at the guy with a slack jaw, because he’d remember someone as handsome as him if they’d met before.

“…hi?” he says like it's a question, taking a sip of his beer to do something with his hands.

he watches as the man’s eyebrows crease in confusion and the way his shirt stretches over his chest as he takes off his jacket. “it’s- i’m steve? you are eddie, right?”

eddie can feel his own eyebrows raising, wiping off his damp hand to fish his phone out of his pocket. he quickly finds steve’s profile, ignoring the messages they've sent each other over the past weeks that leave his stomach filled with butterflies, and pulls up the profile picture steve uploaded.

looking at it closely, he glances at who he thinks is steve, at the freckles dusting over his face and the toothy grin he's flashing at the camera. he's not exactly they type eddie usually goes for, but he's witty and sweet and knows about dnd, apparently, so what's not to love?

but then he looks at the other person in the picture that's slightly out of focused next to ‘steve’. looks at the two moles stark on the side of his neck, his pink tinted cheeks. the floopy brown hair and the pretty brown eyes and-

“steve?!” eddie exclaims, looking between the man in front of him and the picture on his phone. “you’re steve?”

the guy- steve- grins sheepishly, leaning on his elbows over the table to look at eddie’s eyes phone. he’s close, too close, close enough that eddie wants to-

“ohh,” he says and scratches at the back oh his head, eyes downturned with a blush trailing up his neck. “yeah, maybe i shouldn’t have used a group photo for a dating app.”

“so who did i think you were?”

their eyes meet and even in the dim bar light, eddie finds himself falling into the specks of green he sees. steve looks at the phone quickly then back up with a smirk. “my best friend, tommy. he’s kind of an asshole, though. you’re better off with me.”

“is that so?” eddie leans back, taking a sip of his beer, and really takes in his date that he now knows is steve. his toned arms, his broad shoulders, his pretty pink cheeks and pretty pink lips.

“what, are you disappointed?”

steve smiles gently and it lights up his face in a way eddie isn’t expecting. between the way he looks in a dingy bar and the way talking with steve is easier than any date he’s had before, he can’t imagine what disappointment he could ever possibly feel knowing that his date is who he is.

suddenly there’s a foot hooking around his ankle and it sends goosebumps tingling up his spine. steve’s smile softens just a bit and eddie can feel himself mirroring it back, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

“i don’t think disappointed’s the right word.”

and when cheesetopia holds an open mic event and lighter gets confident to sing sappy country love songs in front of you and he gets shy after seeing YOU get shy because his singing voice with a hint of a southern drawl made your heart go crazy

lighter only does so after the girls convince him to (and many rounds of nitro-fuel). they knew that he wanted to sing for you but just never found the confidence to. so with some planning, kasa is able to hold cheesetopia’s first ever open mic.

as patron after patron sang, burnice hands the mic over to lighter. he didn’t know it was part of a big plan with the rest of the girls, he thought it was just burnice wanting to tease him. either way, nothing could be more embarrassing than some other customers’ questionable songs and singing abilities so he decided to give it a shot.

you arrived just in time for lighter’s turn, with caesar immediately pulling you by the hand to the best seat for the show. you weren’t too far away from him but it wasn’t directly in front of him. this didn’t matter however, as the moment he began singing, it was like he was a different person.

he was unaware of your presence in the beginning, singing his heart out and instead had his eyes closed behind his shades. he was imagining you, all the moments he had spent with you. right after he had sang the chorus, he opened his eyes and saw you straight in his line of sight. your cheeks were flushed and you were trying your best to hide your flustered smile.

that made his mind go blank for a second that he almost missed the entry for the next verse. just a few lines after, his voice cracked out of embarrassment but nobody seemed to care. everyone else seemed to be in their own little bubble, barely paying attention to him, but you seemed so entranced by his singing. swaying and softly clapping, while trying to hide how attractive his singing voice was.

even though he had messed up a little in the middle, he ended the song with his smooth voice. the song complimented his baritone vocals so perfectly that the original doesn’t even compare to his singing. once done, he made his way to you, completely dismissing the next person in line for the open mic. seeing your reaction, up close, the redness of your face, the ends of your lips turned up in a little smile as you praised him. his heart rate was increasing rapidly, maybe he had one too many drinks for the night.

once it had all ended, kasa and the girls deemed tonight a success. not just because they had made lots of profit from the event but also you and lighter were seen together long after most customers had left. maybe they should consider holding similar events more often in the future…

i love shang qinghua so much. i love when he is afraid and shrinking back from everyone in pain, and i love when he is badass and competent and running the entire sect and mbj’s court and palace. and i love love love when he is so painfully, achingly alone; when he’s overwhelmed with guilt and shame for writing misery into all the lives around him, and he can’t share his guilt with anyone at all because they’ll take him for a madman.

he can’t tell anyone how afraid he is of dying, every day, every moment. every time his king raises his hand, every time that glare burning with ice-cold fury turns on him, every time his king shows up unannounced—he just doesn’t want to die. he’s done it before and it was awful. and it hurt so fucking badly. he is so afraid to die, and he doesn’t have anyone he can ask for help, and he knows down to his bones that it’s all his own fault. if he hadn’t given everyone such miserable lives, he’d be safe.

My header is actually one of the first wolfstar paintings I did that I was genuinely proud of hehe. Been considering whether or not to post some of my older stuff on here but I suppose I'm just going to use this ask (really not sure whether that's the right term for it... I could've just said "question"-) to at least post my header, because I do genuinely still like it.

It's from March of last year, and I just had way too much fun with it, so I practically created my own little dress up game with different hair-, beard- and make-up styles for them. It's potentially a bit cursed sometimes (Especially if someone mistakes Sirius with short hair for Regulus- please don't), but it's still fun nonetheless :^)

I wouldn't be so upset about Kitty/Min Ho if they hadn't completely destroyed everything Yuri has. They took away her girlfriend, her friendship with Kitty and they gave her financial problems now too. What is the point of that? That Juliana breakup, especially because she kissed Kitty could have been a setup to have her get with Kitty. But they didn't do that. They put Kitty with Min Ho, which could be a very cute relationship but still took away Yuri's chance of getting back with Juliana. I just don't get it

I don’t quite headcanon this because it didn’t really make sense for Demetri to have siblings, dude just radiates single child energy.

BUT I always thought it’d be kinda funny if he had older sisters. Sisters that we’re a few years older than him, shorter than him, but really hammed up the fact that he was the baby of the family.

Only Eli knows about them because they’re all moved out by show events and Demetri doesn’t talk about them all that much because he feels a bit inadequate compared to them. They’re all very socially in tune, well liked, and quite successful. Demetri being a nerd, feels like a bit of a let-down.

But make no mistake, he loves them very much and they love him even more. Even if they tease the shit out of him when they come home.

They’re also just as smart as he is and are also named after Greed Gods, lol.

Athena: A Research Analyst who is the oldest and is very no nonsense and monotone, but very loving and caring in her own way

Aphrodite: A Psychologist who specializes in couple therapy who likes to tease Demetri the most

Persephone: A Botanist who is very quiet but very sweet

I don’t know. Again, it’s very unrealistic for Demetri to have siblings and I don’t even headcanon this; but It’s a fun concept to play around with and I just wanted to share!
