Being a non-american being in a fandom where the characters and a major part of the said fandom are Americans (TMNT in my case) is me going to my friend server asking my American friends questions like:

- What do you eat for breakfast

- What are your cereal brands

- Are avocados and guacamole pricey or rare enough that teenage mutant ninja turtles would have never eaten some before

- What is homeroom in high school

- Do you have classes in the US since you just switch classmates every periods

- Is there actually that many fire stairs in New York

- Since weapons are less available here and I never saw one before, how do you fight against a flamethrower

Alucard has title of Count thinks to his father, but also because of the movie called "Dracula's Son" which he is refered as Count Alucard.

But my biggest dilemma is what titles did had Joachim and Walter?

that movie really did the creature so frickin dirty by hammering it in that the brain used was abnormal and evil (WHAT????) and then having the character kill indiscriminantly, and gave him no sympathy at all.... girllllll they really did just take some topical interesting bits from the book and make it into a vaguely related film. where are all the THEMES

edit: apparently the original direction was much more violent and this is actually a toned down and further sympathetic version. wow (i read this thru imdb's trivia section so take with a grain of sand?)

you know when you get a friend that was even more "tomboyish" than you were in your teens and then as the both of you grow up and enter college, you see them explore expressing themselves more femininely and absolutely fall in love with it and with the concept of womanhood - while you on the other hand become all the more estranged with "being a woman" because good God you really don't fucking get it and that seeing your once-tomboyish friend find joy and an emotional connection to womanhood makes you really realize that you have no such connection whatsoever, hence making you feel left behind in actually "becoming a woman"? Questions! does Kai's opinion shape Lloyd's opinion of Garmadon a bit? We know Lloyd is pretty attached to Kai.

Is Kais Birthday fic still going to happen or is it put on hold? No rush or pressure I love all your works!

We once heard that Jay had a short crush on someone else and I think I only just realized that Kai was implied?! I always thought it was Chen😂 so how did this crush start? Since Kai was one of the kids who was mean to Jay.

Are there any major or small parts you would want to change in your story? If so why?

1. I wouldn’t say Kai specifically is a direct cause for Lloyd’s change in opinion on Garmadon, but he does have a lot of influence on him.

2. It’s actually basically finished; I just need to polish some scenes and do some more editing…but at the rate I’m going it just might be Kai’s birthday again by the time I get it to my liking. XD I keep changing the middle part haha

3. It was indeed implied to be Kai lmao; before Kai started hanging with Chen, Jay was essentially as immediately smitten with Kai as he is/was with Nya. But then Kai fell into the bad crowd, roughed up Jay, and the feelings started to fade. But it is partly why he was stunned out of his mind (and terrified) when Kai rescued him from Chen in the pilots. Now, I wonder if Kai ever figures any of this out…………

4. From what I’ve written so far? Probably would tweak the first fic so Jesse actually does show up during the Nya/Vulcanell evacuation, and fix the progression of Chapter 11 because it still haunts meeee. As for the second fic, I’d make Olivia as prominent as I originally planned, and there’s also a few teeny extra details/events with Lloyd I would’ve liked to include, but what we have is a lot already, and there’ll be time for it in the future~

Any form of Yassen and Alex having to talk to each other. There’s so much to explore, whether it’s a romantic, platonic, or familial relationship…or even enemies.

Doctor/Rose in any form, though I’m quite partial to Nine, Ten, Tentoo, and Twelve. +1 if it’s multiple doctors and a bad wolf Rose!

Merlin/Morgana — unsurprising to anyone who knows me, I love how they mirror each other and there’s so many interesting ways to explore their relationship…either one of them could have turned into the other if they had made different decisions…and the ambiguity of who’s actually “good” is very interesting too! (I know the showrunners want us to think Merlin’s good and Morgana’s evil, but they both have very legitimate reasons for their allegiances, and tbh sometimes Morgana made more sense than Merlin lol)

First ever ship: hahaha I think it was Guy/Marian from BBC's Robin Hood! Or if you want to go even earlier…my first ever fanart at the age of 6 was of fox-Robin and fox-Marian from the disney version (they were in a car with balloons that said “just married” and I very thoughtfully gifted it to my neighbour (who was single lol) and told him to save it for when he gets married…he was such a sweet guy he actually hung it on his fridge for months 😆)

Last song: one of my birds loudly singing their made up song…and the other one aggressively asking him ��HEY hey WHAT you doooo??”

Last movie: Balam Ji Love You — don’t judge lol. It’s ridiculous and campy but HILARIOUS, I actually had to pause the video several times to laugh 😆. Thanks to youtube’s algorithm I’ve made my way past Hindi films into regional cinema, which unfortunately doesn’t come with subtitles…but in a strange coincidence, it turns out the language of this movie (Bhojpuri) is a dialect of the same language my great-grandparents spoke! My mum used to hear it at home as a kid but never knew what it was called. SO I’ve once again roped her in to help translate (she understands like 80% of it, and it fills me with so much joy when she gets excited hearing and rediscovering a word/phrase she used to say at home with her grandparents & parents but had forgotten in the past few decades of speaking only Hindi/Urdu and English!)

Currently reading: an excel spreadsheet of project timelines and marketing goals 😭 (I haven’t read a book in so long, pls rec me funny things)

Currently watching: Tere Bin — the sets and costumes are GORGEOUS and I am so impressed with the acting, especially the male lead who has usually been a very friendly, flirty character in past dramas I’ve seen. Just look at the man in the gif below, the first time I saw him in a drama it was a comedy where he was trying to get an older lady to fall for him so he could have money and never have to go to work 😆 — he's done such a good job taking on this intense character! (I’ve paused on episode 5, because I can sense the cliffhangers coming and I’m waiting for the series to actually finish before I continue watching lol)

Currently consuming: chocolate chip cookies!

Currently craving: cherries. A few weeks ago I miraculously found some for $3/lb but they’re back to like $10/lb everywhere 😞
