Salamence: The World's Biggest Menace

So I had to do a few calls today, few emails, work on my calendar, the usual for my salon work. It was a lovely morning, Meister climbed onto my lap and settled down so I was nice and warm and snug and I had a delicious coffee, all wonderful things. I was planning on doing a bit more research into current steel type maintenance just to make sure my post (almost done btw) would be accurate.

And then CAVERN THE ARCDAMNED SALAMENCE, OSCAR'S BELOVED DRAGON AND MY NOW ARCHNEMESIS, DECIDED TO ALSO JOIN.

NOW. AS MY CLEVER FOLLOWERS MIGHT HAVE GUESSED, A SALAMENCE IS BIGGER THAN A DARUMAKA. AND WHILE MEISTER MAY BE LAP SIZED THIS ENORMOUS JACKASS WAS NOT.

To make a long story short, I had to go out and buy a new chair.

...This one is better for my back, but I'm not going to give Cave the satisfaction of knowing that.

i have this headcanon that percy and annabeth are raging accidental flirts. but not with each other. like. they'll go to the coffee shop on fifteenth street. and compliment the barista on his hair and clothes and tip really well. but only for him. and they have no idea this boy is absolutely swooning over them. or. each time they to go the bakery downtown. they take the time to converse with the waitress at the counter as they eat her homemade muffins. and are incredibly vocal about how she's their favorite server. and how much they enjoy seeing her. and suddenly they're the only two customers that can get her services for free. except, they just think she's like that with everyone.
