#its the situation of. i have a project im trying to work on that i need to work on. however my mom keeps interrupting me every fucking 10 #minutes for related-yet-unrelated stuff. and like it takes me so long to actually be able to focus and get into what im doing #so its literally just that i cant fucking get anything done. i feel like im going to cry out of frustration or that i need to hit something #or both. i don't know. its just driving me fucking insane like i have not been able to get NEARLY as much of this done as i should have #because of the constant interruptions. and my mom just doesn't Get that when she interrupts me its not just for that 5 minutes she #needs something from me. because it interrupts my whole fucking workflow. not to mention after effects is just a tempermental #beast to begin with so adding extra frustration on top of that is a recipe for Sam Exploding #grandpa max is god? i go to church now

the problem with improving w/ my music while not releasing tracks that i was working on prior is i come back to those previous tracks and want to start them over cause i have no fucking clue what my thought process was before and i don't know how to like. "fix" them lol

i feel so miserable right now unfortunately .....

#when i went back to work i am trying to be more honest to people about my feelings regarding shit.#and well. this unfortaunetly will make people like you less when you're a lot less appeasing and a lot more honest #and not even in a workflow way. just in a social way. but also yeah in a workflow way #im giving less of a shit about things. in general there. i AM still doing very very well for only caring like 1/4th of the amount i used to #its funny though. a lot of people also like me more this way. lol #so. yaknow. but it does ache when some people you were friendly with suddenly feel comfortable enough with you to tell horrible jokes #and get pissed off now that they not only like YOU more and think youre more charismatic and friendly #but also that you also dont think. THEY'RE being funnier and nicer at the mutual peeling back #when they open up and reveal that they really love making fucked up jokes that i REALLY cant agree with #like talking to them now feels like i've accessed like. 4chan.

its funny how as i grew up and learned about tech, my childish preferences morphed directly into the correct behaviors and analyses of tech. i hated apple as a kid, i didnt have a reason then, but i have plenty of valid reasons now, almost all stemming from their shitty business practices. i was always a firefox user, never had a reason until chrome started demonstrating how evil a simple browser could be.

#btw i hate microsoft too! its not a a vs b thing #but apple IS more anti consumer #apple is also anti repair for IT workers #like they dont want us in IT repairing their shit they want us to buy our users new laptops for over a thousand dollars #meanwhile i can order a battery for a dell laptop off the internet for maybe 15 #maybe 20 bucks?#also?? apple fucking GLUES the batteries in #so if you DO decide to pay a couple hundred just for a battery replacement kit #(yes kit because it requires a solution mixed for destroying the glue)#you get to spend all fucking day with glue hands #suction tools #and thick guitar picks #trying to get this stupid fucking macbook to relent its bad battery #i like macOS though its complicated #apple sucks but macOS is kinda sexy for some of my workflows 😔#i'd never buy an apple computer tho #i just took all my apples off the retired shelf at my last IT job #i have a mac mini #a rose pink macbook with a broken shift key #a 2013ish macbook air (its so cute)#and a 2016ish macbook pro #i paid 0 dollars for my macs

yay photoshop's crashing reverted to having no solution

#before it used to be that if i close my laptop or if it went to sleep #photoshop would crash soon after. and the solution was to log out and log back in #then for the remainder of the time my laptop is open without going to sleep- photoshop will not crash #now it just fucking crashes whenever i guess. FUN #i think it may have to do with how i often slide between desktops. because thats just a fast workflow for me #so i guess i have to stop doing that. or test some more. fun #how much of my animation did i lose this time.#weasel speaks
