These are mostly based off official content as well as what I’ve extrapolate from irl changes to the characters n such

1) Believing in Amy is the closest Sonic gets to believing in fate 

2) Sonic feels similarly to sinking in water to how he feels “falling in love”. He feels a loss of control in a way he’s not entirely comfortable with or even sure he likes but he finds it exciting nonetheless

3) Amy compares herself to Sonic too much and sees herself as weak as a result 

4) Sonic hates being vulnerable so he helps the weak

5) Amy is uniquely capable of seeing right through Sonic and that makes him feel vulnerable

6) Even if she is helpful, most strangers see Amy as annoying, her friends love her tho

7) Sonic is the first real person in her life to put up with Amy and she attached to him so much because of it

🧁Katakuri was petrified of having kids. Marrying you didn't help that fear either.

🧁What if after waiting 9 whole months, your baby comes out looking exactly like him? With his fangs to match.

🧁In his mind, you'd be disgusted, like his mother was, and neglect your children.

🧁Meanwhile, you were daydreaming how adorable your kids would be if they were a mini version of your husband.

🧁You had two years of Katakuri all to yourself. Then came your first child, Warabiko. He was a result of Big Mom pressuring the two of you to hurry it up. If you had it your way, you would have waited a little bit longer.

🧁You knew Katakuri was holding her off as long as he could for you, but you could see how stressed he was. That's when you suggested to start trying and that you were ready. You never told him the truth.

🧁Despite the stress of Big Mom on your ass, you still loved Warabiko more than anything.

🧁He looked exactly like his father. Katakuri was worried you'd be upset, but you were so happy.

🧁You clutched him to your chest and cried. "He looks just like you, Kata!" You had squealed.

🧁Although you had to admit, you were slightly disappointed he didn't come out with Kata's fangs.

🧁Every child you had after that wasn't a result of Big Mom pressuring you. It was you jumping Katakuri every chance you got.

🧁It wasn't your fault he was constantly training without his vest and scarf on.

🧁One time, he was carrying one of the babies like that. Needless to say, that's how your first set of triplets came.

🧁Katakuri could take some of the blame. He knew exactly how to rile you up. That's why he always had his scarf and vest off whenever he was training, but you didn't need to know that.

🧁He was a bit too embarrassed to outright ask you. That's why he always resorted to taking his vest and scarf off. He knew you'd lightly tease him if he did ask.

🧁The whole 9 months you were pregnant with Warabiko were spent convincing Katakuri to take his scarf off when he was taking care of the baby.

🧁"I can't. My face will probably make them cry." He'd say, turning away from you.

🧁You'd pout at him. "No, they won't! They won't even understand that other people think it's "scary"." You put air quotes around scary.

🧁Sure enough, you were right. Warabiko loved seeing his father without his scarf. And the second Katakuri put it on, he immediately began to scream at the top of his lungs.

🧁You laughed when Katakuri was forced to take off again. "It's like he thinks you went away! How cute!"

🧁Every child after that behaved the same way Warabiko did. They refused to see him with his scarf on.

🧁You could never get over how much of a natural Katakuri was at fatherhood. Seeing him be so doting and sweet with the kids just made you wanna have more.

🧁He probably got good practice from taking care of his own siblings.

🧁You'd probably catch up with Big Mom sooner or later at this point. But could anybody blame you when your husband looks like that?

🧁Every name that your children got was a result of your pregnancy cravings. Sure, it was silly, but you liked how all the Charlotte kids have dessert themed names.

Archovember is here once again! Looooots of theropods this year. Also a lot more dinosaurs in general than other archosaurs. Sorry. There were just too many I wanted to add!

I started doing this a few years ago to challenge myself to draw species I’ve never drawn before and/or ones that don’t get a lot of attention. Feel free to join in! how do you know for sure you won't end up in hell?

Hello! I saw your other message assuring me not to worry about responding because of the grieving process. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness—it truly means a lot. May God bless your sweet soul. 🩷

It’s comforting to know that, because of God’s promises in the Bible, there’s assurance that we won’t end up in Hell. Many verses speak of salvation and bring peace. Sometimes, due to severe trauma, trusting in that love and safety can be difficult, but it’s a journey to trust in what God has promised.

When doubt about salvation or God’s promises arises, the best remedy is prayer and spending time in the Word. Trusting God fully and consistently is one of the hardest parts of the Christian walk, and it’s a lifelong journey. If doubt about salvation occurs, please know that it’s a normal part of the walk and can be overcome.

This world is filled with evil, and Satan continuously works to shake that faith. We face attacks, criticism, and feelings of shame and unworthiness. Yet, the Bible reveals God’s character, and when we trust in what He has said, there is assurance of salvation.

I’ll share some Scripture that speaks to our salvation under the cut, so as not to flood anyone’s timeline. I hope this can be helpful, beloved!

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

“I’m not riding in the carriage again,” Xuanyu says flatly. “You and Guangyao take it. Wangji and I will ride behind.”

Lan Xichen decides to focus on how heartening it is that Xuanyu is speaking both of his brother and his lover so familiarly and not how she’s being unnecessarily stubborn about this. “We just want to be cognizant of your health-”

“My health is fine and I’ll kick your ass to prove it,” she says flatly,

Sizhui slaps a hand over Jingyi’s mouth at the same time as he covers his face. It’s hilarious.

“Xuanyu,” Wangji says, eyebrows pushed together, “you have been more tired recently-”

Sizhui drops his hand to frown.

“I’m not going to fall asleep on the way there!” she protests. “We’re only taking disciples, we might as well fly, but if you want to ride I’m not going to stay stuck in the carriage again.”

“What if you do get tired?” Lan Xichen asks.

She rolls her eyes. “Then Wangji can carry me and you can rub it in my face for the rest of my life. Happy?”

Lan Xichen sighs and turns to A-Yao. “Don’t you have anything to say about this?”

“No,” he says, inspecting his nails. “Feel free to continue arguing with my sister and holding us up. She seems so open to persuasion.”

Lan Xichen considers how often arguing with A-Yao has yielded results in his favor, that A-Yao finds her likeminded enough to refer to her as his sister, and rapidly reevaluates his stance. “We’ll bring the carriage for everyone’s luggage and it’ll be there if you change your mind.”

As they’re leaving, he pretends not to notice Xuanyu hanging back with A-Yao and whispering, “How did you do that? Can you teach me?”

Wangji’s exasperated glance, however, tells him that any similar tricks Xuanyu tries on him are going to be all his fault.

She doesn’t get tired, or at least not enough that he can pick up on it. They stop at an inn to eat and to give the horses a change to rest before continuing the journey and they’ve just stepped inside when Xuanyu’s face lights up and she calls out, “Song Lan!”

The next moment she grimaces and flushes, as if she hadn’t meant to say that.

He turns, and sure enough the wandering cultivator is sitting at a table, uncharacteristically alone. Song Lan stands and bows to them, looking at Xuanyu in puzzlement before his face clears. “Ah, Lady Mo, it’s good to see you again.”

“You know each other?” Wangji asks.

Xuanyu keeps her mouth shut, but Song Lan nods. “We assisted in a cultivation issue at the Mo Manor many years ago. Lady Mo was only a teenager then.” He inclines his head to her. “It’s kind of you to remember us.”

Any issues at the Mo Manor should have been taken care of by the Jin, but Lan Xichen isn’t surprised by the negligence. Until he decided he needed a scapegoat for their treaty, Jin Guangshan seems to have ignored his daughter completely.

He considers correcting Song Lan’s address – she’s no longer Lady Mo, but Lady Jin – however Xuanyu hasn’t, and he knows she’s not fond of her father’s name.

Xuanyu waves a dismissive hand, her embarrassment at having called out to him apparently soothed. “Where’s Xiao Xingchen?”

His face darkens. “We parted way on bad terms a while ago. I’ve been attempting to find him to repair the damage, but it’s been more difficult than I anticipated. This village seems to be the last place someone saw him. A blind girl called A-Qing left with him, but I haven’t been able to find either of them.”

I had a lot of fun doing it and will for sure try it again, though maybe not in october specifically? Still many characters I wanna do, more Turbines and Grassleys, Merribit, Cracker & Cookie, Elan, more 00 characters... Having such a closed theme really helped getting into it every day without thinking too much about what to draw.

Something is in the air, can you smell it? October is approaching and what's the best way to celebrate my favorite month with the unleashing of your wildest Peaky Blinders fantasies? This combined with the fact I'd like to train my smut skills resulted in the idea of hosting a kinktober event dedicated to our lovely Peaky Blinders' characters. For the event, I'll be opening my requests.

The Inaugural Writer's Meow Meow Mock Draft

Ok so I had a fun hypothetical with some fellow writers. The premise being: if there was a fantasy draft of girl group idols where each pick represents who you get to call your "Meow Meow" in the writer's discord and no one else can call them that, what would be your draft strategy? Would there be a lot of biases picked first? 3rd gen? 4th gen?

One of these idols went first in the draft. Can you guess who?

So I had a handful of writers who volunteered to be a part of a mock draft. A handful of other writers opted to watch. Seems like everyone had fun, which may lead to more of these.

Here are the rules: 7-team snake draft, 10 total rounds. Any 18+ GG idol.
