i finally did it.
after almost 60 entire hours of gameplay... and numerous mental breakdowns...
i completed brothership. and BOY do i have far too many thoughts.
some thoughts and game review in tags (SPOILER WARNING AHEAD)
#i didnt expect me. a 15yo. to complete such a long game in one piece#YET I PERSISTED#the story. the characters. the complex level design. EVERYTHING about this game was near PERFECT#dont trust me when i say this cuz this is the only game ive ever actually played in this series... but this is my absolute favorite#out of all the games. 10/10 totally recommend#even when im the one making the phsycological horror. the peachs castle scene TERRIFIED me#this game fuels my angst tendencies to the point of no return#and oooooh im gonna milk it enough alright#connie is such a calm collected sweetheart. the bros must adopt her#technikki is well... smart#fuck you tho adaphne. get out of my sight#chilliam and burnadette are cliche but are absolutely one of my favorite mario couples#the extension corps being jackasses and then deciding to do good was a nice touch#cozette is just me#reclusa including his weeping forms is just a silly adhdfilled toddler vibe#oh yeah snoutlet is cocky in the best of ways. i promise ill never call u a pig again js give me back my family#groovemaster dyude and emmit must marry and thats a DEMAND#mario is chill and caring. luigi is a dumbass genius incarnate#the great conductor is there i guess. was a cool fact about snoutlet and had the best bros attack#speaking of bros attacks and bros moves i loved every one of them. theyre all so creative and have their own charms#i wish they brought back firebrand and thunderhand but oh well i guess we got mix-max vortex and zapperator in their places#i think i have so much more to say but i forgor#js. wow. In other news ive finally started playing baldurs gate 3 and despite being a glorified hater about it when it got mega-hyped i am enjoying myself a lot actually. They weren’t kidding about the level of detail in this game we love to see media living up to the hype.
#I still find all of the character designs very underwhelming but thats ok. I can fix them (her (karlach))#the pacing feels a little funny by virtue of being an open world game where you Are going to meet these side characters ok.#like every long rest so far ive been shocked that my party members are acting as close with me as they are#but its still fun! The interactions are really charming to be honest.#i was like. Number 1 astarion denier but unfortunately he is quite silly with it. If a bit much.#Idk i just think its fun and also really fun to dissect the bits and pieces that dont work out.#and i love me some dissection so i consider this a bonus.#anyways.#text posts :0]

Ive been playing a lot more stardew valley recently. Here's my first proper farmer oc

It's scalloped >.> That's what I always say lol#Really she probably would and should have the Mandarin collar - possibly more scalloping >:3c - I just go outside the margins a lot haha#I've drawn her once or twice with the butterfly collar tho! Where her collar dips down into her spiderweb pattern at the top of her shirt!#It's a really cute shape ahhh it works best with my lineless stuff but even here I think it turned out nice! :D Cute! #dc comics#superman#batman#wonder woman#justice league#redesign#my art#i've got a rough timeline for my version of the dc universe (i call it earth 101 for funsies)#which starts at superman's first appearance in 1997 and goes until a couple years in the future (2027-2030 ish i haven't decided yet)#its mostly just to justify designing a bunch of characters lmao-#ANYWAY#i've posted clark before but his suit is very much inspired by the fleischer cartoons + the classic suit with some homemade charm to it#goal was to make him look approachable and friendly - so guy in a sweater and undies works well for that#he's charming and goofy and a complete klutz#it literally takes him six years of dating lois to propose to her#(and even then its only AFTER starro invades and he properly realises he could lose her at any moment if he isn't careful)#bruce's suit is based on battinson's suit + the original suit from the 30s#i imagine he would use a gun at first but stop using it once he realises how fucked up that is of him -#after gunning down the red hood - oops!#he also wouldn't be alone for long - he adopts dick very shortly after dropping guns#so he can start projecting a friendly billionaire (look! he took in this little orphan boy how he cold he beat up criminals every night#when he's got a kid to look after huh?)#but ya - he's a freak and his posture's terrible from being hunched at the batcomputer for hours on end (he's workin on it)#diana was the easiest i think - i just wanted to basically redo her silver age design and do my own spin on a few of the details#nothing too fancy for the moment i imagine she gets a lil more ornate in future#but for now its simple bodice and boot-sandals#also HAD to make her taller than the guys i HAD to#so clark's like 6'2 and bruce is the same when he isn't slouching - but diana edging on 7 foot#she's BEEG#she's literally a living statue basically so y'know

WE WERE ROBBED!!! It's not perfect, and it still has some "limited range of color values" issues, but with a couple more revisions I think the one on the bottom right really could've turned into something special
#honkai impact#honkai hare#I'm noticing a trend with honkai that idk how to describe other than “elysiaction”#Where they take they take what was appealing about Elysia in ER and apply it to characters but remove the nuance#Like they take her energic charm and charismatic mask and then they forget that there actually needs to be something behind the mask#Idk if that makes sense#Bottom right Hare looks like she would've been a much more stoic character and I think that would've been a nice change of pace#I think the reason I'm so annoyed with Hare's current direction in both writing and design is because I think she had such strong potential#There's so many character interactions they could've made and didn't#You could've explored Seigfried and Theresa's reactions to seeing their lost loved one coming back from the dead and not knowing them#Or Durandal and Hare bonding over knowing who they used to be while knowing they can't really be the same person anymore#Or if you really want to keep the back story with Bronya's mom#Hare could've just switched sides because Project Stigma threaded the life of her loved one's child#They also could've used Hare as a demonstration of what Project Stigma actually does#But nah- they decided to take the most interesting parts of Senti and Elysia and mash them together without the context and intrigue#Making her boring
