Ooooh no, the question I've been afraid of ever since people started asking me stuff! For now I must out myself as someone who usually doesn't really...like classic rpgs?

Now, before we throw stones - let me explain!

I do like gaming and I do that a lot, but those things that are classically recognised as your standard rpg aren't really my cup of tea most of the time because, quite frankly, I. Get. Bored.

Really, I keep trying, but I'm rarely engaged. Like, I played the witcher II and III, oblivion, guild wars 2, teso and, as a wee lass, I played Fable. (And I think I did play Dragon Age Origins and Pathfinder but that was when I was a depressed teen in survival mode, so I'm not counting those for a hot moment because I remember nothing about them 👉🏻👈🏻)

In my experience, there's often a lot of running about and "go collect THIS in THREE VILLAGES AND EIGHT HOURS OF FOREST over and then come back!" and I can't deal with that sort of unnecessary grind that does nothing but make the game longer. (Now, we don't count cozy farming games or pokemon here, aight? Those are a different category in my book.)

Especially in new-ish titles where they, quite blatantly, go "yo okay you can only go HERE if you did all the side quests on that island over there otherwise you're too weak and that little wolf overhere will absolutely decimate you".

It's hard for me to stay engaged and actually finish the game, so they never quite managed to capture my heart, which is why I, at some point, stopped looking into RPGs as a whole.

(A few exceptions that I did enjoy were VTM Bloodlines and, more recently, Hogwarts Legacy.)

I'm more into narrower games that are a bit more story focused - like Stray Gods, omfg that one was so good - and don't let me wander off for 69 hours without to collect buckwheat for the farmers cousin twice removed, hehe.

(Btw, that's also why I'm so mad at the newer assassins creed games - ESPECIALLY Odyssey and Valhalla - because I absolutely love assassins creed as a whole, but I hate that they're so huge and open-worldy these days. Like, what is so wrong about a more story focused game? Let me enjoy this for a few hours and then back tf off please.)

The whole entire reason why I got into bg3 is basically the lovely @harcove because she was sharing a lot of clips and pictures - mostly of Halsin back then, haha - and I thought that game actually looked really fun so I decided to, potentially, throw almost 70€ into the fire and trust the opinion of someone I'd never talked to and here we are I guess 👉🏻👈🏻

(Haven't regretted it. I love bg3 dearly, and it's nice to find a proper rpg I actually do enjoy!)

So, to get back to your question: Unless you want me to tell you that Sebastian Sallow is actually a sweetheart if you look past his desperation or you want me to go on a rant of how amazing Malkavians are - which they ate omfg they so 100% are - or about how Geralt z Rivii is an absolute treat for anyone into the broody type, I don't think I can do a lot of talking about other rpg's, darling, I'm sorry!

i haint watched the dang chibisode and idk if ill actually watch it with sound on sdfjk but i have a hurt feeling about them casually imbuing perry with speech for a one off gag because the idea that he needs to talk to communicate is fake. we had 4 seasons of wacky magic hijinks cartoon where perry never needed verbal speech to communicate. they couldve done this gag at any point in the show but they didn't, and the fact that they didn't felt significant. perry's muteness is such a core part of his character, to me, to the way i conceive of him/write him. i don't wanna overreact to a goofy little side cartoon (even tho i'm doing it anyway) but it's still the characters, and it still upsets me! ok that's it i've said my piece

15. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chapter fics?

I tend to prefer writing one-shots! I love to read multi-chapter fics, but I always get so worried that I'll lose motivation and just, never come back to it :') My first fic on AO3 is loosely a multi-chapter, in the sense that I've left it open to return to someday, but haven't had any interest to pick it back up in years lol. There's something very punchy about one-shots as well - I have a pretty solid split between short and long one-shots, but it's so satisfying when I Finally have a long one finished!

I also like making connected one-shots, or sequential one-shots, but letting them stand on their own so?

32. What’s a fic you’d love to write, but probably never will?

I think I had a Vargas fic idea at one point that I so badly wanted to read but didn't want to write, and made some concept sketches and an outline for and everything lol - something with the Jake/Edgar/Scriabin dynamic ♥ I do know that someone made a missing scene-fic about Scriabin and Jake's first interaction that I've been quietly making eyes at - next time I'm into Vargas for sure 👀

As for love to write, hm... Probably this overly-convoluted Osmosis Jones NTR fic that I've had in my back pocket for way too long honestly lol - ever since I learned about netorare they were my first and only choice but it's so all-hurt-no-comfort and kinda dark and sad and while it sounds really fun, the self-consciousness monster in the back of my head is like "Really? The White Blood Cell Movie? For that?" lol

You're having the time of your life.

A strange thought to have, maybe, while you're busy dodging strikes and dipping and twirling around your opponents. Being much smaller than most members of the Defense Force means you're used to being underestimated, though your platoon has had enough time with you by now that they should be used to training against you.

They aren't.

You laugh as you swoop past the fists aimed in your direction, caught up in the giddy adrenaline of being good.

Everything moves in slow motion. The rise of your opponent's chest, strands of hair catching the light, muscles tensing for a blow. The sharp red gaze watching your every move from by the fence. You take it all in and blow past your teammates, emerging unscathed from the manned obstacle course and grinning, breathless.

Hoshina Soshiro grins back.

"Laps," he says, glancing past you. The rest of the platoon grumbles good naturedly, but they take off jogging around the track. You bounce on the balls of your feet as your Vice Captain stalks over towards you, hands shoved deep into the pockets of his pants.

"How did I do, sir?" you ask.

"Pretty sure Minase almost caught ya," Soshiro says. "And your form got sloppy at the end. But not bad, I guess."

"Minase did not," you splutter, but Soshiro just laughs. "I swear I'll get a real compliment from you someday, sir."

Soshiro shifts on his feet and you blink, distracted by the awkward way he's keeping his hands in his pockets. He's wearing his typical super-distracting skintight shirt — his jacket is hanging on the fence post — and your gaze pauses on the bunch of his shoulders and the strain of his biceps. Not wanting to be caught staring, you blink and move on. His pants are cinched tight at his hips, but as your confused stare drifts lower, he coughs.

"You get enough of that from the rest of the platoon leaders," he says lightly. "And 'sides, ya still ain't fast enough to get past me."

Sparks fill your veins. You glare up at him. "Oh yeah? Let's go, then!"

"Not now."

You nearly stumble in shock. In all your time under his command, the Vice Captain has never denied one of your training requests. It's led to many late nights in the practice rooms, joking and working together, bits of advice tossed out as he threw you around the room with a strength that made you dizzy. It's surprisingly easy to suppress your silly little crush when Soshiro is busy kicking your ass, but you enjoy the time spent with him all the same.

"Huh? Why not?"

Soshiro shrugs. The movement draws your attention to his shoulders, but that only sends your gaze down his arms to his hands stuffed into his pant pockets. Why is he standing like this, anyway? It's like he's trying to — oh.

Your mouth opens slightly in awe. Your eyes widen. The front of your Vice Captain's pants...

Well, it's safe to say Izumo Tech has some impressive compression technology for the anti kaiju suits. Those things are skintight, molded to your bodies for better kaiju cell synchronization and ease of movement. You've often wondered if it's uncomfortable for people with dicks, since the material sticks so closely. But none of you are wearing the suits right now — you're in uniform, and while the uniform is a bit looser, you've never noticed anything... like this.

Like the thick, unyielding bulge straining against the front of Soshiro's uniform pants.

You snap up to meet his enigmatic gaze as soon as you recognize what you're looking at, but Soshiro merely hums a little. "Ya looked pretty good during that obstacle run," he says.

"But you said my form got sloppy."

Soshiro grins. "Ya still looked good."

Does that mean...? You glance at his pants again and — yup, it's unmistakable. His hands may be in his pockets but there's nothing else that bulge could be, unless he's hiding some kind of secret weapon down there.

"Are you always like this?" you ask. Insubordination be damned — there's no way you can let this go now. Your heart pounds into focus, the lightning quick beat of your pulse drowning out your thoughts as Soshiro snorts.

"Do I get in trouble with HR a lot, y'mean?"

Oops. You're blushing. You're blushing and he's just laughing quietly to himself like your reaction pleases him. "I won't — I don't, um... I don't mind, I was just... wondering?"

Soshiro raises an eyebrow. You gulp as you meet his red eyes. "Am I always turned on while I'm watchin' ya take on guys two times your size?"

You nod. Your Vice Captain tilts his head up, watching birds flit across the sky for a moment as he processes this. "Guess it depends," he says, "this only happens with you, y'know. So d'you want me to be?"

"Do I want you to be...?"

"Interested?"

Your platoon is finishing up their laps, and soon you'll need to take your place among the obstacle course to attack as the next person has their turn. You're running out of time to respond. Your brain is buzzing. The both of you turn to watch as your platoon jogs closer.

"I do want you to be interested, Vice Captain, sir," you say firmly, staring straight ahead but glancing at him out of the corner of your eye. The tips of his ears are pink. "I would be honored."

"It's Hoshina," Soshiro says. He tilts his head slightly towards you and grins at your noise of confusion. "You can use my name while we're datin'."

Okay I normally don't do asks when it comes to yandere cause it's not my usual thing but seeing the last post you made of Yan!Sunday and his darling, that one where he just desperately wants to have that normalcy in their relationship but couldn't ever have it because of what he's done, made me think of something rather angsty; like how the darling's backlashes against his affections would probably go turn for the worst as time passes on, they don't hate him in a sense because he's really trying hard to not make them hate him and they can see that his love is real (just really fucked up) but that deep urge to hurt the person who took their freedom away is still there, it wouldn't just go away just because he loves them so much that he wouldn't dare to break them. Oh that satisfaction on seeing Sunday looking so hurt after yelling at him, they know it doesn't make them any better than him but at that point, what else is there for them to lose? Maybe in hurting him so subtly, they may find some pity in themselves for him to actually give him some semblance of love but until then, all Sunday ever receives from them are either silent treatment or backlash

Such relationship could only thrive in the worst way possible and maybe Sunday knows that but even then, he still holds out that little (delusional) hope that maybe his darling will still love him someday

Sorry for the rant, it's just that I feel for Sunday but his method will never work and it'll just deeply hurt him and his darling in the end asgfjgsfg also if it's alright, I'd request this but I'll leave it to you with how you write it, be it an imagine or anything else since I'm fine with it!

Hello Elys! Im so sorry it took a long time for me to get to your request lol, tons of things got in the way but I remembered this request for a while.

In any case, I feel you've summed it up quite well!

Sunday isn't harsh or as brutal as I imagine him. Unlike my [i have to self advertise here, sorry HAHA] soft yan!blade, Sunday most likely wouldn't even need a bit of working around to be a softer yandere.

He's so loving, it's painful. His love is like despaired poetry for a lover who is still alive, just further than their reach. I imagine his love to be very tender, even as a yandere, if he doesn't become even softer.

And it's hard to convince him he's wrong – mainly because he already knows. But rather that's a bit distorted in his view; instead he thinks it's a wrongdoing against your nature as someone who wants to be free, but correct in the context of the situation rather than actually understanding it is absolutely wrong in general. And he doesn't budge. He's stubborn, almost infuriatingly. And instead of getting angry, I imagine he rather looks disappointed or disgruntled, which somehow does more damage/strikes more fear than anger.

And it's still heartbreaking; frustratingly for both of you, not just yourself.

You lash out, you scream, cry, wail, argue, relentlessly push and resist against him. it's your only way of getting back at him, you're sure as hell you're going to strike the hardest that way. And you relish the hurt you see in the eyes of your captor, but something more sympathetic tugs at you when you see his lovingly sad eyes. It's this cacophony of guilt, frustration, anger, and utter despair at the loss of your freedom. Sunday feels all of it, aswell, and you want to be relieved that he does – if it weren't for the fact he still wasn't letting you go.

He continually withholds your freedom from you. That single injustice to you is enough to weather your patience over time – your anger only burns hotter and hotter, pushing away any semblance of sympathy or reasoning, and it only hurts Sunday more, until you realise what you're doing, and quietly give in to sooth him for the time being. Just a little. Until that little injustice starts bothering you again. It's a toxic cycle.

And it hurts even more when Sunday tries to find normalcy in your relationship; he's trying so hard to be your lover, to hold you gently and bathe you with care, to dry you off and still love you after seeing you bare. He wants to come home and see you smile, be happy, elated that he's there, just as he feels when he sees you. But that's not what happens. His delusions and flimsy expectations are shattered the moment he steps into the dimly lit room, your form refusing to even look at him. The silence is strangely stronger than his hopes.

Anyways, that's all i can think of at the moment. I love angst yandere sunday time.

i've been so focused on IYHM for the past couple months... now that the pub date is so close, i'm full of giddy anticipation and terrible dread. so thank you everyone for the love and well wishes! it's really getting me through it.

also, i wasn't sure how to announce this so i wanted to mention it while i'm here: Waterstones now has a special sprayed edge edition of IYHM! i got my copy a little while back and it's really gorgeous. if you like paperbacks i think the color is a lovely touch!

Excitement flashes in the magician's eyes at your offer - expression scarce say for the fleeting hours he was able to spend with you. Was his angel a comedian too? God truly had blessed him after the suffering that was his previous life and the current. He always admired comedians. Clover learned that finding a good punchline was far more difficult than any trick he had up his sleeves and to have one of those genius minds at his side made all those lonely nights alone little more than a fading memory. Who know? Maybe you could have a show together someday. It'd be a dream come true, but by now Clover knows to limit his selfishness. Getting ahead of himself has always led to trouble, and you're the last person he'd wish that unfortunate upon.

"Oh! Why, I'd love to, Dear. Come sit next to me so I'll be able to hear you better."

Clover makes room for you at his bench and pats the cushion as you walk over. He takes your hand as you sit - patient in wait. You ask.

"What's the best seat in the casino?"

Clover's features furrow in thought. "The seats in the main lounge are quite nice.... I've fallen asleep a few times in... no... Hm, I give up. What would you say is the best seat in the casino?"

"Your face. Less of a joke and more of a statement really."

His confusion persists. "My...face? I don't see how. My furry features are soft when present, but I still can't figure out how my face would be a comfortable place to put your.... ah."

Clover eyes trail down to your thighs - transfixed to how the leather cushion molds and clings to your shape. His flush, the only pigment his pale skin has seen since the last time you flustered him is hastily overshadowed by a sea of white fur. The rabbit demon attempts to hide his attributes, but fails miserably as fur sprouts over the backs of his hands as he hold them to his face. Clover pulls his ears down over his eyes as substitute - nervous fit of laughter erupting from him.

"Ah....haha... that's a good one. It would be an honor... A privilege even! H-how many more of your jokes are like this? Not that I mind, far from it - I just need to prepare myself for the aftershock. Further note, but would you ever be interested in such activities? I do have another show soon, but you will always be top priority and I'm rather curious how true your claims are."

Is was a bit weird for a foreigner from Japan to move in to South Korea, but you did it anyway.

Thankful for your childhood friend, who has taught you some Korea when you told him that you wanted to go there someday.

But sadly all the memories of him fades away when you were recovering in the hospital for 3 months.

You did tries to ask your parents about the young boy, but they know nothing about him. The only thing they told you was that he was dangerous, and you should stay away from him.

That, make you want to meet the boy more.

It's been 5 years now, since you now to South Korea all by yourself, but of course your parents often sent you some money for you. They were worried, but they wouldn't stop you from your dreams.

Surprisingly you got in one of the fashion school that you wanted. You also got a part time job easily, a cashier in the small convenient store not too far from your school.

The boss there was a bit creepy but you didn't think it's was a problem at first.

Now, let's focus on the present shall we?

You were walking back to your apartment while talking to the young man Daniel. He dumped into you one day in the library and when he was about to apologize, you speaks up the apologies first and quickly got on your knees and help him with his books.

From that day on you became his personal tutor, you didn't mind being the tutor. You always have a kind heart and soul after all.

But today was different, since the moment you met that tall man who looks.. Familiar in some way. Naturally you would talk about your day and what you're going to make for dinner.

You ended up being quiet til' you stepped in your apartment. Daniel was worried but he knew he couldn't push you too much, so he just texted you to make sure you're ok.

And when you answer that everything was alright, he sighs in relief.

You don't really know why you chose to be a cashier at night shift but.. You did, so here you are, in your cashier outfit working at night.

It's was bored for most of the time

Until the door opened up and your eyes lit up in excitement. Finally a customer!

" Welco– " Oh.

It's him

Your words caught in your throat when the tall man look over to you. Even with his shade on you knew he was looking right into your eyes.

You quickly look away from embarrassment when he finally walk toward you.

" May I uh.. Help you? " You tried again, this time you force yourself to look up at him. But when he only respond with a low chuckle that slips from his mouth. You were about to speak again but then he open his mouth once more.

" You're as beautiful as the day I lost you " The man said.

And you freeze. Not before you felt your face heat up, not only from those sweet words but also how sexy it sound coming from him.

You quickly clear your throat and finally speak up.

" I'm sorry but.. You might get the wrong person " You let out a small laugh before you glance back to meet his eyes.

He's just.. Stared, and that stared make you nervous, maybe it could even make any woman knees weak.

But when he suddenly came up to you and grabbed your wrist without any warning, your body react on it own by slapping his face with your full force.

And then the silence filled the air.

Your eyes widened in shock from what you did. And his glasses were now on the ground. You were about to shout out an apologize before another chuckle left his mouth and his now revealed eyes meet with yours.

He finally got to see you clearly, not just from behind that stupid glasses he likes to wear so much.

And you. You knew you should be scared, you should runaway, but instead. You felt like those eyes we're drawing you in.

" S– Sorr–.. "

" It's okay " He said.

Gently letting go of your wrist before he crouches down grabbing his glasses, as his dark gaze glance up to you.

" I should have ask you properly " He said before walking towards you even more.

You stood there. Still trying to contain all your thoughts what just happened but then he handed you a black card.

Giving him a questioning like last time before he raised his eyebrow. You slowly grabbed the black card before you start to read it.

You're eyes widened before you shot your head up to ask him a question, but.

He was gone.

You sighs in disbelief, you didn't get to say sorry properly.

Well, now that you got his contacts you may as well try to say it to him properly through your phone? Yeah, maybe you could do that.

You simply kept the card in your pocket before she continues to do your night shift like usual.

But there's one problem.

You couldn't stop thinking about him.

You know it's weird, you just met him! How could you felt something like that for someone at first sight.

Yeah yeah, a lot of people might believe in love at first sight but you don't. You know there's something wrong. Something.. familiar.

After your night shift. You went back to your apartment and took a nice shower and making yourself a warm meal from your mother recipes.

Card in your hand, and your phone in the other. You have been staring at your phone for the last 30 minutes now. You don't know why you were scared but you are.

And finally! You called him.

" Hello ? "

" H–Hi! It's uh.. " You said your name.

Your heart were beating so fast you thought you were going to fast out.

When you didn't heard any answer, you try calling his name.

" Sorry, I didn't think you would call " and gosh.. The way you say his name. He could felt his heart skipped a beat.

" Oh– sorry, am I interrupting anything? " You asked, worried that you might call in the wrong timing.

But when he said that it's was okay, you simply sighs in relief.

The night went on by you and him. Gun. Talk all about the things that you wanted to know.

Even though he wanted to tell you everything he remember. All those memories that you guys made together in your childhood days. He couldn't. Maybe letting you find out by yourself might be the right way.

So, he lied. He lied about how you look like his childhood friend that he lost. He lied about everything he could, not wanting to make you feel any guilt for what happened 6 years ago.

And you believe him, even if you didn't want to. But you did.

Eventually it got late and you forgot about your school for tomorrow, you quickly glance at your alarm clock on your desk.

" AH! I have school tomorrow! Uh- I uh.. See you later? " You said, feeling a bit bad for leaving him in the middle of the conversation.

But when you hear him chuckle and slightly giving you a confirmation that it's was ok and you should get rest.

You chuckle softly before thanking him.

As you were about to press the disconnect button. His voice murmurs out.

" Would you like to have dinner together? Tomorrow? "

Your eyes widened as your face heat up from just thinking. This gorgeous man is asking you out?!

" S–Sure " You said. " What time? "

" I'll pick you up after school "

Oh yeah. He knew what school you were in, you forgot about that.

You gave him your last confirm that you accept his date. And finally hitting that disconnect button. Laying your head and your body down on the soft mattress, gently closing your eyes. And doze off immediately.

You couldn't wait for your date night tomorrow.

Now for your question. I kinda have a ton of hobbies. I like to keep myself busy and learn new things.

You mentioned planes and yes I do very much love planes. I really love readin' up on 'em (as well as trains and boats). You could probably point to any plane in the world and I'll be able to tell you exactly what kind it is. When I was younger, my parents would take my to private airplane hangers and I would spend hours askin' the pilots about their planes. I actually met Colonel Doberman that way and we still keep in touch.

I also like to create little plane models in my free time too. Though I probably have way too many sets lying around my house. I kinda don't know where to put them all 😅 I dunno why I love planes so much. I guess I just always like the idea of bein' able to go anywhere in the world. The idea of having bein' able to see many amazin' things. I don't have my license, but I do want to get it someday.

Hm... I think some of my other favorite hobbies are the ones I do with friends. I love to fish, bowl, or play video games with Goofy or Donald if he visits. Minnie and I love to garden together. Sometimes Horace and I will work on fixer upper projects. Clarabelle and I will do some exercises and martial arts trainin'.

Oh! And someone on here recommended that I should spend some more time with Daisy and it turns out she's actually really into journalism, like I was. She currently runs her own online news site and we've been meeting up so that I could help her with the pictures. Her site's more focused on trends, fashion, and pop culture which normally isn't my thing, but has been fun to learn about. But she also covers important world events as well, which is more in my wheelhouse.

Also drawin' is a great hobby. Thank you again for the art. I also like to sketch things sometimes and even make comics, though I'm definitely not as good as you ha ha. Maybe I'll share them some day. But for now I'm happy with seein' all of the art you make 😊

Since you are interested: Here's some of the old sketches I found! All of these were done I think around 2021-ish. (I think BBRae had my full attention and was my fixation around that time. So I have a huge backlog of bbrae art lol)

Back then, I thought kacchako was cute and that was that. I had no idea they would return to me years later and grab me by the throat! Hahaahha!

^ Those doodles were inspired by BurnedStars777 fanfics ((Honestly their fics are still my biggest inspiration to this day)). I can really tell I was trying to get a handle of how to draw Bakugou especially lol.

^ Those were me still trying to get a hang of drawin' them and figuring out my style. Also, was trying to design a new costume for both - but inevitably didn't flesh it out, haha!

Re the prev ask/answer... Yeah that's totally valid and understandable! I'm also feeling kinda sad and conflicted about Sol at this point

I still love his character for the most part, but also yikes.. I almost want to just live in a fanon universe where he didn't act the way he did back in Brendok but that's easier said than done emotionally

I was lowkey wanting to draw him and maybe I still will someday, portraits are a different vibe after all, but yeah I definitely get why it'd feel weird now to draw more character/interaction focused art like yours

Yeah you get me. I can still draw Jecki, im used to character death in media now it's no big deal. More angst more ideas lol. But it's a diff story for Sol tho. I admit I have my own bias towards Sol cuz of his father's instinct, and also it's the first time I have an Asian Jedi Master who's wise and likable (my other fav was Plo Koon). So the reveal hurts way worse. I still think that there's a much better way to handle their story while staying in character and still having the same tragic outcome, still putting Sol in the position of someone living w his guilt and shame. The canon event did make him a much more interesting and complex character, yes, but I can't help feeling like he's made to be a punching bag for the narrative atp. Again, great premise, not so good execution, imo.

And yeah now I can't draw him without feeling shitty because all I want to draw is his fatherly interaction w the kids. I could, if i want to. But once I post it online, I can't stop ppl from coming in and saying "well uh actually he did that", and "Jecki and Yord would not like him" yada yada. I read everyone's tags and cmt, and as a non-confrontational person, it will affect me and make me feel shitty even more. So im just gonna protect my own peace and go back to my safe space haha. ohhh thank you so much! that crossover is still so near and dear to my heart, I'm so glad people enjoyed my self-indulgence.

I've talked about my reasoning in the past, as well as discussion of what other characters might fit what in my tma entities tag, so definitely take a look at that if you haven't already!

I'm seeing now that i never talked about my reasoning for Kanna, Q-taro, and Mishima, so if I may indulge myself further ...

Kanna as the Lonely

a bit of an obvious one - she's defined from the moment we meet her by her loss and the absence of her sister. her position in the group as a whole is also weakened by her isolation with Shin - even if it seems from the outside he's manipulating her, that separation makes it a little hard for Sara to trust her at times ...

she's absolutely someone who's strengthened by her bond with others tho, as we see in 3-1 when she actually gets to work with everyone. it's just up to us whether she gets there or not.

Q-taro as the Buried

ohhh I'm so sorry but I'm so proud of this one. first of all - he literally dies in a coffin. what I really enjoy about this assignment is the whole idea of being trapped tho.

Q-taro constantly feels trapped in his life, and takes big risks to get himself out of those situations - he felt trapped in the hospital, and he was so desperate to get out of the Death Game that he stabs everyone else in the back to do it.

Mishima as the Eye

this is definitely moreso related to his AI (haha. get it.), considering he gets more of an omniscient view of the Death Game proceedings.

he's also a bit of a narrative sacrifice, allowing the other participants to learn about the inner workings of the Death Game ... idk. this one's a bit abstract but I think it fits, especially considering that his death only happens because of a lack of prior knowledge.

and uhhh how about dummies for a bonus round!

Ranmaru as the Corruption - he's sooo toxic it's not even funny. maybe I'll still draw this someday, I have a fun composition in mind.

Mai as the Hunt - she's the one who's most forward about the game Midori puts them all up to. she actually betrays Q-taro for her own survival, though he's far too kind to let that be the end for her.

Hinako as the Stranger - do I have to explain her. do I have to

Hayasaka as the Buried - guy's stuck in a dead-end job doing morally questionable work for an all-powerful company ... guy's as buried as it gets.

Kurumada - I used to have him as the Flesh for kinda superficial reasons but since his minisode I feel like he may also be Hunt tbh ... it's all about the "strong eat weak" mindset, after all.

Anzu - honestlyyy I have the weakest vision for her. I'm not really. a fan. of her minisode so I'm not taking much inspiration from it. I enjoy the Vast tho for her just cuz that's always a fun idea with performers and such. you could always go Stranger for clowns but I feel like that doesn't fit her personality much

Soo, I technically started the sketches a few days ago, but I finished it today. The fact that I still can't do lineart really held me back, especially after messing up his face a bit. His eyes and glasses are much more detailed actually, but you can't really see that rn.

Maybe I'll do a close-up someday, there is still some space left on the page after all.

Anyway I went almost crazy while making this, I was so close to stop and abandon it.

Then I forced myself to at least try and finish it, and here we are, I actually like how it turned out!

So yeah, I hope I'll get better at lineart someday, my sketches were so much better in my opinion.
