#zeno's art#miraculous ladybug#miraculous#mlb#ml ladybug#so much potential but it really lost its footing imo#i kinda want to rewatch tho. anyway!#i wanted to give her a less generic body shape/general shape design so i switched up her jeans for shorts + leggings#and gave her a bag to cut up the white of her shirt if that makes sense??#for the ladybug design i tried incorperating parts of her civilian design#like the shorts#and the belt cutting up the red like her bag does in the civilain design#also using less spots (drew with the mindset that the design would be used for a 2d animated show)#and tried to add some light bug motifs through her double ahoge in ladybug form + leg warmer danglies like bug antennae#generally less generic and more fun#maybe ill redesign that little blonde one too#this was a fun exercise

ive talked about this before but social vs self perception is crazyyyy im looking for old scenic photos ive taken and also found selfies and when my hair was short i LOVED looking at myself but hated thinking abt how others saw me (especially after seeing candids of me) now my hair is long and like. Its fine i guess but I think the selfies ive posted on here are the only times ive taken pics of myself ykwim. And i avoid mirrors LMAO

Jimmy looks positively sick. His Beautiful brown eyes looking more tired and glassy than usual, and his while his cheeks and nose are tinged from fever, the rest of his complexion looks paler than Scott's, which is saying something. Plus his poor boyfriend is down right shivering while tucked under the thickest blanket that Tango could find in his posessions while wearing one of his comfier hoodies. He just looks so unwell, and Scott really doesn't want to leave him in this state.

LGI Foreshadowing??
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but there's a moment in the LGI MV that makes me think that the ch2 culprit was foreshadowed? Again, maybe I'm just overthinking things. Also, I'm not sure if anyone's already pointed this out. I'm not really aware of the current state of theory and analysis discussion haha.

So we all know this cross word right and how it connects to the lyrics?
I'll just cut to the chase: Arei and Ace have matching lyrics!
IV. Right now, why do you cry? V. Right now, why do you go insane?
I'll admit that I don't know much about the current state of LGI's mysteries being solved, but this struck me. Out of all the lines in the song, Arei and Ace got the two right next to each other, the ones that directly correlate, and are phrased the same way.
Even if it doesn't foreshadow Ace's fate, it does feel like they are being connected here. How they differ, or something.
I'm sure someone much smarter and more analytical than me could talk about how this relates to their characters and such, but right now I am simple Not Capable of Doing That.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

my hair is way too short for me to try a new hairstyle but we'll see what happens
#i want a new haircut before work next week bc i was supposed to get my hair cut this week#and there werent any free times for the only hairdresser i trust in this city until the end of next week#so i looked at the salons instagram and scrolled until i saw a male haircut that wasnt atrocious#and got a time for the person who did that#i want like a wolfcut with long tails#but my hair is to my shoulders at its longest so its not going to really work#also i feel like that's a straight hair thing and mine is wavy but we'll see!#i find it funny how im ALWAYS like ''hehe ill grow my hair fr now'' and then get tired of it after a year and get it shorter again#but! the shorter style i cut it to has consistently been longer and longer#so i will have long hair one day#also no one worry im not cutting it short#just a bit shorter#if im crying about being ugly here on monday just know it was bc i trusted someone else than a middle aged woman with a knife near my hair#wait knife is not the right word#razor!#leevi talks

lads what do you do when you've backed yourself into a corner and a lot of available jobs won't take you becos ur overqualified/overeducated but u dont have the soft OR hard skills for the other jobs left over....
#the next problem is that i dont and wont drive. that cuts out some other stuff involving white cards#which i dont actually have but is simple enough comparatively to obtain i think#this is reminding me why i went teaching in the first place lmao i saw it more or less a guarante#of a job and exactly what kind of job. and now im screwed LOL#im realising now that my previous job probably took me on specifically Because it was meant to be short term#and it was already the kind of job with high turnover so it didnt matter#augh....#seems to me the only option is to keep studying/training in smth viable and that ill actually stick with#but what...........#my sis keeps telling me the stat of how many autistic adults are employed (low)#im like please dont remind me lmao.

Y'ALL.
after just over 2 years of work, i finished the Ace Jon Quilt.
inspired by @/speakerunfolding's fanart of jon jarchivist sims with an ace-colors quilt, which was so sweet and cozy and which is still one of my favorite pieces of jon artwork. anything unsightly in this quilt is original to my work; the fanart is adorable and lovely, 10/10, no notes.
as previously mentioned, i've been working on this quilt since late 2022, which means i started it when i was still pretty new to quilting. i batch-cut a bunch of pieces for the the gray squares, and they were a quarter inch too small, which doesn't sound like it should be a big deal! but it sure was! there is....... not as much lining up of the squares as there should be, and it does not lie particularly flat.
it's also the biggest quilt i've made - approx 7 x 9 feet. actually quilting it was a pain in the ass, which is why i didn't do as much of it as i probably should, but i love quilting with decorative stitches. i backed it with bubble/double gauze which i didn't want to put through the machine, so i did most of the quilting on the top and batting and tacked it to the backing by hand. the green thread is because, you know, tma, and also because why not throw some aro + agender garnish on the ace quilt?
ANYWAY. all the yapping to say. i love this quilt. it's messy and imperfect and i worked on it through a nearly month-long cold/headache to finish it, it's essentially all i've done since christmas besides sleep and watch arcane. don't look too close at anything about it except for the parts that i was not necessarily responsible for, but also......... look at it !!! this is currently my masterpiece and i can't wait to cuddle up underneath it properly.
#quilting tag#WE ARE DONE MY DUDES.#i'm pretty sure i've contracted an illness from working on this probably from inhaling batting fluff#because i Cannot Stop Coughing Or Sneezing#and it ALWAYS gets worse when i work on it#so i'm glad to leave behind the frustration of trying to finish what a younger stupider version of myself started#and also the effort of working thru a project that is clearly trying to kill me#and guess what. i would do it again for this thing#i seriously fucked up the binding on one end so i might do a bit of seam ripping and fix that#but compared to everything else i've had to do to finish this.......... might as well!#1) the gauze backing. i thought i bought enough to join for both backing and binding. i Did Not and had to graft some quilting cotton#on the back so it would fit.#2) the batting itself was like two inches short so i herringboned a strip on the end and there somehow STILL wasn't enough#3) I QUILTED THIS ON MY SHITTY LITTLE SINGER. AND BY HAND. ALL SEVEN FEET BY NINE FEET OF IT.#the day i did most of the quilting i thought i had genuinely injured my wrist and that was on the MACHINE#oh my god this would have been such a better experience if i were a better more precise quilter. unfortunately i can't do math#and can't sew in a straight line.#but guess what. all the fucked up problems i made for myself cannot stop me from loving this quilt#both for the ace jon art aspect and for the aspect of itself#genuinely i leveled up a few quilter levels making this and the most enduring lesson is STILL Measure Twice Cut Once#aster chat

I either need Kairi's hair to go back to its KH2 length OR for it to go back to being as short if not shorter then her KH 1 hair
Because the current bob feels like a backtrack on her character growth HOWEVER if they go back to her KH1 length it's a consistent backgrowth and an actual conscious design decision
And I would hope that design decision would result in a moment of Kairi reassessing herself and everything she's been through
But anyways like usual they'll just style her hair directly after Hikaru Utada's current hairstyle during production because god forbid they put any thought into Kairi's character design and growth
For Kingdom Hearts sake they ignored that her main colour in KH1 was purple to be the middle colour between Riku's blue and Sora's red to instead have her main colour be pink because she's "The girl" of the group

It's tough wanting better for Kairi as a fan of these games

ahhhhhhhh guess who made the mistake of getting a haircut
#i was planning on growing it out for real i swear#but then the back of my hair got to that length (like it always does) where it starts touching the back of my neck wrong and i cant stand it#so i figured I'd juuuuuust get a trim maybe only the back so it wouldn't keep bugging me#and it started off pretty good too she was doing well with everything and i liked the way it looked#then she asked me a question with two options. and i answered the question. and she repeated my answer. good enough right?#well i think she maaaay have forgotten my answer in the span of like 2 seconds bc she started cutting SUPER short suddenly#and now my perm is completely gone lol#i think she's used to going a bit shorter so it looks good in like a week when it's grown out a bit#and you don't have to go back for a haircut every 2 weeks#but like. i would rather not hate my reflection (more than usual) for a week or two while it grows out yknow#eurghhhh it's not that bad tbh ive had haircuts where i wanted to kill myself and this is just 'hmm maybe i should wear a hat for a week'#but still. very annoying. and especially so bc i was actually feeling optimistic with where we were going at the start#anyway there's this weird phenomenon that keeps happening where I accidentally get my hair cut too short#then i decide this is going to be the time i finally grow my hair out for real#and after a while the back reaches that length where it starts bothering me again#and ill get a haircut juuust for a trim#then i somehow end up with a bowlcut#it's an emo bowlcut to be clear. so im not super hung up about it bc i still love that haircut for reasons i cannot comprehend#but everybody else seems to go 'ew a bowlcut why' except for the alt queers who go 'omg gender'#which i consider to be one of the biggest compliments i could ever get. and have gotten. seriously that moment will never leave my mind#like having someone that you consider Gender to look at you and say *you're* very gender? my crops have been watered my cattle have been fed#etc etc. anyway this currently has the shape of a bowl cut but it's too short esp on top#so im back in my 'okay im gonna grow it our FOR REAL this time' phase again. as it goes. like fucking sisyphus.#anyway. im gonna be tearing it up in the pit at origami angel tomorrow so if anybody's also going feel free to join me there#just gotta let off some steam. goddammit i knew i should have gone the queer route and just done it myself. in my defense i still had a perm#and i didn't trust myself to cut curly hair. turns out i shouldn't have trusted the barber either bc she just held it straight out#and chopped right across. and soon the curls were gone and everything was straight. ...that sounds like a metaphor for conversion therapy#'yeah just head into that place by the time you leave you'll be straight'#anyway. sorry for the waterfall of tags if ur still here kudos to you and may you have a wonderful day#mine
