Something that I think about quite a bit, and that also kind of bugs me is that. After Reunion and Turnabout what..happens to Pearl?? Morgan (who was her sole caregiver due to the fact her dad left) got arrested, and then next case is just Phoenix and Maya taking Pearl to the circus to take her mind of the fact that her mom is in jail. But who's taking care of her??? Morgan would at least lose temporary custody right? If not full custody due to the fact that she was an accomplice to murder. Obviously all the laws in Ace Attorney have to be taken with a grain of salt because well, absolutely anything can fucking happen in those court rooms. I've tried thinking of possibilities myself to make myself go a little less insane. I know it's not a big deal, but it is to me. She's only 8 in JFA so as far as I know she'd be too young to be emancipated, honestly I believe Maya (or even possibly one of the residents of Kurain Village) would take over guardianship of her. Maya just makes the most sense (as it possibly can) to me because she's 18, she's a blood relative of Pearl, and honestly while an 18 doesn't seem the most fit compared to an older relative (even though all of the closest ones are dead) I kind of like to believe Phoenix would help her fight for custody in court despite being a criminal justice lawyer and not a civil one. Also with how much Pearl is around after the fact, it would make sense that Maya is just, looking after her now that her mom is gone. Maybe there's an actual answer somewhere that I just have not found, but if not, that's my guess.

So I'm leaving work and something darts in front of me, maybe 10ft away, too fast for me to see what it is. Peek around the tree blocking my path and I see this

Just like... a whole ass hawk. Dude's gotta be about 1.5ft tall. Massive fucking bird. And it's just staring me straight in my soul like this, even as I try to move ahead. It didn't budge. And there's only this path back to my car unless I want to walk on a busy highway. So I have the option of Death By Raptor or Death By Truck.

So I walk in the poison ivy filled patch off the sidewalk. Guy still isn't moving. Still staring me directly in the eyes. And I do this thing when animals are behaving strangely where I'll talk to them, so I'm just like, "Hey, man. I don't know you. You don't know me. This feels really threatening. I'm just trying to get to my car, dude. Can I get some space please? You're a big fucking bird. I see those claws. You could kill me right now, but I'd appreciate if you didn't, ok?"

It didn't move until I was about 2ft away. Again: I'm as far from it as I can be without walking into the street. It clearly wasn't going to budge. I walk past, thing flies up (silent, btw. Scary) and lands on a brick wall a little further ahead

Anyway. Weird guy. Nearly shit my pants when I noticed a bird big enough to carry off a fully grown cat was just... there, staring me in the face, unwilling to move away from me, a human, something it should see as a threat. I watched behind me the whole rest of the way to my car, just in case this bird decided to help me shed this mortal coil. 10/10 experience. Super cool guy.

This is also a bit of a culture query, cos these are all in my house so I genuinely cook with these all (except chicken salt, that's been in my cupboard for ages)

But I'm not from the USA and most people here are, so I wonder if that's similar! Maybe your cupboard is identical to mine. Maybe we use the same stuff but call it something else. Maybe USA has a different relationship with pre mix spices and you use none of it. Maybe you've never heard of pre mix spices. I dunno. That's why I'm asking!

I use plain herbs and spices as well. Especially when making a complex meal I'll do it myself. But I use pre mixes other times, so I'm voting. Voting for a pre mix doesn't mean you don't also use paprika! If you genuinely have no pre mixes in the kitchen tho, then hell yeah, tell me!

Also, I know I haven't listed everything in the world. One, that's impossible. Two, this is a bit of a culture thing so I just checked my kitchen and used those. This selection is representative of me only

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

Got another DPxDC prompt, Danny the underground fighter

Well more like Danny has a truce with all his rogues since highschool so that he could pass his classes, so now with a schedule all those fights are enrichment for the ghosties. He graduated high school and got into Gotham University.

And over time Danny got really good at fighting in abandoned warehouses to fight, even some of the ghosts wanting to do underground fighting (Ember and 13), of course this catches some people's attention and they start betting on their fights, while also catching some bats and birds attention...

Danny is also not changing into his Ghost form for some of these fights, Skulkers fight are specially in the ghost zone only for damage control

I think this idea has been broached before but I don't have enough memory for that.
