HOW WAS FANEXPO POOKIE

IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! a lot of it was spent buying kaveh stuff heh ..... but like omg it was so much fun. I went as yor forger day 1 and frieren day 2 with my friend as himmel!

it's always very fun to go cosplay because I get a lot of people asking for photos and it's very flattering ;w; also the whole event was really smooth and well organized! I went to a few panels namely zach aguilar's demon slayer panel and one about traditional bamboo flutes!

like I said in tags of post I met alejandro saab, nazeeh tarsha, and molly zhang!! (and for those unfamiliar that's jing yuan/cyno's va, alhaitham's va, and seele's va in that order ^^)

alejandro was very nice, I was kinda freaking out all over because I was so hyped to meet him but he was so sweet SOB..... I got a jy signed print from him and asked him to sign "time for the master stroke" AND HE SAID IT IN THE VOICE AAHAHAHAHHAHAA

NAZEEH WAS SUCH A BIG SWEETIE! I introduced myself and was like "I follow you on twitter so I thought, 'Knowing Nazeeh he'll surely have some kaveh stuff along w his alhaitham stuff, and those are my two fav sumeru characters'" and he said "You are now my favorite person!!" oh my GOD and we kinda half-hugged in one of the photos and he gives SUCH good hugs. what a sweet guy!! just so friendly we chatted for so long the line was kinda held up BAHAHA

and MOLLY!!! WHAT AN ANGEL!!! we ALSO talked for so long the line was held up, she was talking abt her shitty luck in hsr and I did a little thing to transfer some of my luck to her WAHAHAHA. she was so down to earth and friendly

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! not to mention I met new friends via my original friend who invited me to go and I'm very excited about that. I'm big into going to conventions so it was so nice to finally get to go to another :)

hot take: people on here hold percy to WAY too high of a standard. they either refuse to accept he has a real flaw or they call him a terrible person anytime he’s not the epitome of loveliness

like… he’s an asshole sometimes. why can’t people see that? why can’t people accept that? we don’t have to justify everything he does. has he been an asshole to annabeth? yes. has he been an asshole to nico? yes. was he TRYING to be mean? NO. he was either upset or uninformed or focused on bigger things. does it explain it? yes. does it excuse it? no. but it doesn’t mean he’s a horrible person. he’s just a PERSON.

it’s the same with annabeth. yes she’s prideful and condescending sometimes. okay…? AND?? she’s still a kinder and braver person than most of us will ever be. and same with nico. he is an amazing person but he has also done some things that are absolutely not okay. you know why? because no one is perfect. it’s okay to accept that our favorite characters do bad stuff but are still good people.

you’re a rowdy kid. during one of your adventures, you end up at the gojo estate; sneaking your way into a vast, beautiful garden, pretty pink roses as far as the eye can see. little gojo is crouched down, watching tiny sprouts grow, and you’re too captivated to look away. bright snowy hair, striking blue eyes, all dolled up in a fancy yukata. he turns to meet your gaze — and all you give him is a sheepish laugh, before strolling over to introduce yourself. he doesn’t seem to mind the company, so you keep coming over to play with him. you bring cool rocks, pretty cicadas you caught, a dusty gameboy. he listens to you speak. he watches the way you move, wave your hands when you’re excited. he grows so, so fond of you.

one day, you stop coming by to see him — and he doesn’t need confirmation to know that one of the maids must have chased you off.

Ran at Dracula with a kukri knife without skipping a beat and then tried to climb out of a window to pursue him Jonathan Harker. "Like a living flame" Jonathan Harker. Calls his bond with his wife "the holiest love" and determines that if she becomes a vampire, even if Dracula calls her to his side, "she shall not go into that dark night alone" Jonathan Harker. You know. That one.
