i'm gonna kick your butt re: salad opinions
I'm not a salad aficionado but there's like, two kinds of salads that are good. Savory and sweet.
Savory should have a spinach base, plus pickled red onions, roast chicken/tofu, banana peppers, diced off-the-vine tomato (NOT CHERRY TOMATOS OR A SOGGY VARIETY, WE LIKE FIRMNESS HERE), maybe some fresh garlic. Maybe some kinda light Italian dressing but not much. Olives only should be eaten whole from the jar/can like a goblin
Sweet should be like. A mixed green base, plus candied pecans (or plain peanuts), some fruits such as strawberry, mandarin orange (the type with no pith), and apple slices, feta cheese, plus lemon juice overtop and/or raspberry vinaigrette.
#i mostly like sweet salads but the savory salads are also p much what i put on subs#so i technically eat them more often. just with bread lol

in the kitchen - hotd cast

blame my binging of epicurious for this one guys. (i also generally love to cook and bake so yeah)
funny enough i have a got cookbook in my cooking wishlist on amazon lol
when it comes to these headcanons, i tried my best to incorporate the worldbuilding from westeros since each character would have different tastes in cuisines (like alicent and criston, as primary examples). i have not read the books but hopefully i can do this justice.
ser criston cole
to the surprise of many, criston is very good in the kitchen. better to trust him with cooking over baking, but heâs a decent baker. his food has a lot of spices incorporated in them and it tends to be spicier than what most people arenât used to. you will often find himself cooking late at night when no one else can interrupt him. he enjoys the quiet and to make some dornish comfort food that his mother used to make for him. more often than not, criston buys the spices and produce himself. heâs very particular about his fruit. kind of like an immigrant grandma or mom.
âevening (y/n). i did not know you would be up so late. it does so happen that i have made a little bit too much food for myself. would you like some? itâs roasted chicken with figs, olives, and some spices.â
daemon targaryen
daemon is not a bad cook? itâs really iffy considering that cooking and baking are things he never did. he doesnât have much experience but somehow, he always manages to make something that tastes good. he definitely does not measure, definitely does not keep track of time. and somehow, it all comes together. heâs a little less chaotic when it comes to baking and the bread heâs made tastes really good. youâre always struggling to get a loaf from him.
âdo you want some (y/n)? i slaved away for hours to make this. i promise it tastes good. at least thatâs what my brother told me. donât know if heâs lying or not.â
rhaenyra targaryen
rhaenyra is not a good cook. you have strictly been told to keep her away from the kitchen. there have been more than enough fires started when sheâs tried. baking is a no good and the best she can do for cooking is just throwing stuff into a pot with some water and letting it simmer down into a stew. even then, she has managed to burn things before. better off letting someone else cook for rhaenyra.
âthis is quite delicious (y/n). you have outdone yourself. perhaps you should come back to dragonstone with me just so i can have your cooking to myself.â
alicent hightower
alicentâs a homecook. she cooked more often when she was younger compared to being an adult. however, she has great technique. she much prefers baking considering the fact that it feels like she can exercise full control over the little thing sheâs doing, which is opposite to her own life. definitely a stress baker and needs to do it when sheâs alone so she can have time for herself. itâs her version of self care. she also is very picky about produce and comes into her childrenâs room unannounced with cut fruit. (there is no argument about this, iâm sorry)
â(y/n), dear, i noticed you were looking a little pale today. so i cut up some blood oranges from dorne and made some pigeon stew for you. remember to eat, okay? chasing aegon should be your priority after you nourish yourself.â
aegon targaryen
aegon seems to have inherited his sisterâs skills because this man cannot be trusted in a kitchen. he has definitely undercooked chicken before and sausages and beef. definitely tried to cook once and alicent almost fainted when she saw that the chicken somehow turned blue. when heâs drunk, heâs alright. can actually put together a decent meal that isnât undercooked. but never trust his technical skills. he almost chopped off two of his fingers once.
âcome with you to the kitchen? mother wonât allow me to go in. i didnât do anything i promise! aside from...almost cutting my finger off...and setting the dough on fire.â
aemond targaryen
aemond is not a bad cook. heâs very good at it, actually. he does not do it often but if the time calls for it, he will. he also is very good with baking and frequently comes to your room to deliver whatever he has concocted in the kitchen. there is something to note, however, which is that aemondâs palate is a little more on the sensitive side. so when he seasons things to his liking, it tends to be underseasoned for others. he also cannot handle spice. accidentally had some of cristonâs food and almost died.
âi hope iâm not interrupting your studies, my love. because i come bearing lemon cakes and rabbit stew.â
helaena targaryen
helaena is very experimental in the kitchen. she spends an awful lot of time on her presentation rather than the process. the process doesnât take long. itâs just the plating and making it look to her heartâs content that does. depending on the day, the food can taste as good as it looks. sometimes itâs a little underwhelming but regardless, eating helaenaâs food is always a pleasant experience. she also balances her seasonings and flavors well unlike her younger brother.
â(y/n), are you hungry? i can make something quick before you get back to your duties. it would be a nice break.â
jacaerys velaryon
jace is someone who needs structure within the kitchen. heâs great at following recipes. and thatâs why his food tastes good. he needs to follow a recipe when in the kitchen. it gives him some structure and a sense of direction. heâs okay when it comes to cooking without a recipe but much prefers having one. heâs also very clean, often cleaning as he goes so he doesnât have to do it later.
âoh! donât worry about that (y/n). i can clean up. i just finished with the dough so thereâs plenty of time for me to spend cleaning. itâs a nice point of relaxation.â

For those asking for my new food list, I'm technically up to 22 things I can eat safely if you include the small handful of spices I can manage and basic stuff like salt and baking powder/soda. Which yes, can be allergy triggers for some.*
The list is:
Chicken, Oats, Egg, Olive Oil, Milk, Cornmeal (which means I can have bread, waffles, and breaded chicken!), Leek, Maple syrup, Cane Sugar (sparingly) Potato, Red Grape, Spinach (extremely sparingly), Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Pink Salt, Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Marjoram, Butter, and Apple
Quite the array for someone who was living on oats, water and chicken just over a year ago :D
My hope is maybe in December or January to get either sweet potato or bell peppers back into my diet. So keep those fingers crossed for me fam. Thereâs just about nothing I wouldnât do to be able to eat sweet potato fries again lol
Allergy explanation/ramble under the cut for anyone who wants it.
*If you're wondering how on the Gods green earth salt can be an allergy, the salt itself is not the problem. Itâs the anti-caking agents found in table salts, which can be mast cell triggers for people whose immune systems have forgotten how to immune system. It's honestly minuscule and not a heath hazard unless, as I said, your immune system borked.
A bigger issue though is iodized table salt. Most table salts are iodized to help with iodine deficiency, which can be a problem for people with dextrose allergies, cause dextrose is often used to stabilize the iodine. Again, this is perfectly normal and healthy unless you have a corn allergy/sensitivity to corn, which is what dextrose is made with. Same with a lot of vitamin Cs and citric acid in the US. Most of them are derived from corn. My body is very fussy about corn products and can only handle 100% organic corn due to the trace amounts of glysophate (a common herbicide) sometimes found in conventional crops. Especially in things like wheat, corn and oats.Â
Like a lot of people with MCAS, my most significant allergy is synthetic pesticides/herbicides, which is why I'm on an all-organic diet per my physicians' orders. Which honestly kind of sucks not only because of how expensive it is, but because organic pesticides are less regulated by the FDA and sometimes MORE dangerous as a result. But my options are death now or potentially cancer when I'm older, so yâknow *shrug emoji*
With that in mind, please, no one suggest I take up farming. I can barely stand some days, let alone grow enough food to keep me going year round.Â

Do you have any allergy/health conditions headcanons for Fukurodani (plus their managers)? I liked the one you did for Shiratorizawa
Thank you very much! I do have some headcanons for the Best Owlsâ˘, so here you go.
Bokuto has pretty bad pollen allergies in the spring. He gets very sniffly and congested, which sucks for him because he loves being outside. Antihistamines make him very sleepy, so he tries to avoid taking them. Konoha and Akaashi get sick of his constant sneezing and coughing during morning practice and force Bokuto to take his medicine, so Bokuto is always a sleepy mess during school. The teachers know about Bokuto's allergies and medication, so they don't scold him too much, thankfully.
Washio has moderate to severe pet allergies, so he tries to avoid animals whenever possible. This leads to his teammates teasing him whenever he tries to avoid walking past dogs and cats, but it's only light teasing because they know about his allergies and understand why he tries to avoid animals.
Sarukui is allergic to bananas. He and the team find this ironic because "saru" means monkey, and monkeys love bananas. Sarukui gets hives and a fever if he eats bananas, but he's just glad that he doesn't go into anaphylactic shock. Sarukui still has an EpiPen, but it's more out of precaution than necessity.
Komi has terrible autumn hay fever. He's super sneezy, drippy, and just all-around gross. Komi hates autumn because of this, though he likes to watch the leaves change color for fun. Komi takes antihistamines to deal with his hay fever. The antihistamines don't make him sleepy, but they do make him a little loopy and spacey. He zones pretty often during autumn practices, so he's gotten a few balls to the face over the years (rip).
Konoha is allergic to gluten (Celiac disease). Since he's in Japan, he doesn't run into as much gluten as he could, but it's still fairly prevalent in the food around him, so he has to be careful about what he eats. Eating gluten makes poor Konoha super bloated, fatigued, and just downright uncomfortable. Eating lots of gluten can also give Konoha anemia, which can be incredibly terrible when combined with his other symptoms. Konoha has had an emergency alert bracelet since he was little, but he never wears it anymore because he thinks he doesn't need it anymore. He's also shy about his allergy, so only the third years, Akaashi, and the coach and managers know about his Celiac disease.
Akaashi doesn't have any major allergies. Instead, he's basically a little allergic to everything. Pollen, dust, pet dander, etc. He also has some food sensitivities to dairy and gluten, but he likes ice cream and bread too much to give them up, so he just suffers through the consequences after he eats them. Akaashi hasn't told the team about his sensitivities because they technically aren't allergies, so he doesn't think they're important enough to tell anyone about.
Onaga is allergic to dust and pet hair. Pet hair makes his skin very itchy and causes occasional breakouts. Dust makes him sneeze and cough (pretty standard), but it also causes his eyes to itch and burn. Onaga carries over-the-counter eyedrops with him just in case his eyes act up when he's not at home. His dust allergy makes it hard for him to help with clean-up in the gym storage rooms, so he's the team's designated floor sweeper (even though he hates sweeping with a passion, lol).

[ FFxivWrite2021 Prompt 1: Foster ]
[ Content Warnings: Cheesy Romantic Shit lmao || Characters: Maximiloix Voilinaut, Caromont Allard ]
[ with musical accompaniment! itâs what drove this prompt, to be honest ]
[ its fuckin long, iâm not sorry lol ]
youtube
Caromont flipped through cards, time and time again. No matter how hard he tried, he could never perform a reading for himself. He tried - he truly did. Where was his future going to go, once he made it to Dravania? What shoes was he destined to fill? Perhaps greatness wasnât meant for him - and instead, he would teach another greatness. He wanted more than the monotony he was given, something that could strike a match in his eyes. As he drew nearer to the Colonies, he flipped another card - not expecting it to do much at all, he wasnât prepared for his head to fall forward and slam into the table in front of him.
âMaster Allard!â Some stray students happened to be in the room with him, running over to check on the man. Perfectly fine, he was, they found him dead asleep against the table⌠but only for a solid five minutes before his head flung back up, an exaggerated gasp to follow. They startled at his sudden awakening, taking steps back away from him. He rubbed his forehead. âUghh⌠ow.â There was something different about him, after that, the students noticed. There were still heavy bags under his eyes⌠and yet, they had never looked brighter. He had always been tired, weary, worn out from his responsibilities; and now he looked like he could crack an honest smile for once. âMaster Allard? Are you alright?â âHm?â He addressed the students in some sort of delirium, tilting his head in thought. âOh! Yes, I am. I appreciate the concern - simply an unprepared reading. Nothing to worry about.â They left him to that.
What he saw was nothing short of a miracle - to him, of course. A reading of his own! Finally! Even better - while he was destined for no greatness, he was given a taste of what freedom felt like. The first adventurer to make their way in, thatâs where it lied. What it was, he knew not. All he knew was that he wanted it. He wanted whatever this adventurer would grant him, wanted something *new*, and *different*.
--
Caromont sat with his head against the library window, far up so that the colony of Sharlayan was visible to his eyes⌠yet he stared at the sky, watching the clouds as he flipped idly through more cards. Bored, as if heâd get a new result the more he did so. He let out a heavy sigh, lids closing just for the briefest of moments - maybe he could pretend he was having a vision, maybe people would leave him alone for his inattentiveness. It wasnât like he wanted any of this responsibility to begin with. When his shoulder was pat on to remind him to pay attention again, he opened his eyes and looked down at the ants of his kin. His eyes skimmed to the side, where several students seemed to be dragging along a worn down man. His eyes narrowed, trying to see better what was going on. No. That was not just any man - that was the first adventurer, since he arrived here; not a student, not a fellow academic; an honest-to-gods *adventurer*. He jumped from his seat, eyes lit up like Starlight; he scooped up his cards, snatched up his bag and *sprinted*. He skipped down stairs two at a time, perhaps even falling down a few. He skid around the corner of the entrance of the library, waving down the students that were about to carry the man away.
âMaster Allard! Oh, thank heavens! This man needs healing before heâs sent on his way--â âDo not worry! I will take good care of him, do not fear. Be on your way, it will not do to be late for your classes.â âOf course. Thank you.â Then he was left alone with this almost near dying man against his shoulder. By their tone, one would have expected said man to be unconscious; no, he seemed only confused. âIf you are okay to move more, I would like to go elsewhere for your healing.â âYeah⌠âcourse. Thank yaâ, friend.â His voice was soft, it commanded no respect⌠though it seemed to give none, as well.
As he had brought him to his own home, the adventurer only laughed. âShouldnât yâbuy me dinner, first?â Still, he was thankful for a place to lay down⌠even if it *was* the floor. Caromont let out a loud snort, kneeling beside him with another laugh as he thought more on the words. âMm - perhaps I could *make* you dinner, instead.â The adventurer blinked at the response, stunned for a moment - mostly from the stitching he could feel as his wounds were healed. Then, he laughed. He laughed so hard he had to place a hand over his stomach. âOoch, gods, that hurts.â Caromont smiled. âIt will be sore for a bit, so please, make yourself at home. I am not here often, to be honest. Ah- your name. I do not believe I got it.â âMaximiloix - you?â âCaromont.â He had to mouth the manâs name several times to get the pronunciation correct. âMy, that is a mouthful.â âAinât it?â He laughed again.
--
Maximiloix had been here a week now - doing nothing more than waiting for Caromont to get done with work. He always sat patiently by the entrance of the library, offering stories to the students interested in hearing them. The bell struck twice - and it was just a matter of time for the usually composed scholar to come sliding around the corner. He always seemed a little too excited to leave⌠at the same time, itâs not like he could blame him. He, himself, would sit in the same spot for hours waiting for him without a care to the time that crawled by slowly. Caromont offered him books to pass the time, but he only laughed in response. Still, he took them, tried to make heads or tails of what he was reading - as it was from Caromontâs private collection, meaning it was nothing but technical jargon regarding magic⌠something he wasnât all that good at to begin with. Unfortunately for him, Caromontâs eye for detail always caught him - or was it that knack for knowing the future? He could never say - never tell, either; nor did he feel a need to ask. Every man had their secrets and he wasnât without his own. âTake it the books are a little much?â âAh⌠that easy to tell, huh? Iâm not mucha magic person, tâbe honest. History, though.â âIs that right?â He could see those violet eyes light up, every word that was spoken to him was held onto as if his life depended on it. âI could have swornâŚâ His eyes turned to the ground, lifting a hand to his chin as he tried to sort out his thoughts. âAh - I see. Not yet.â âNot yet?â âNo, no! Do not mind me! I will see if I can find any books to your liking, and you must regale me of what you have learned! My time is spent too much on my readings, and not enough in other skills.â âEver thought oâ takinâ a break?â âA⌠break?â â...Yâknow. Relax? Not work? Do other things?â Caromont stared at him for an uncomfortably long amount of time - even more so, since they were walking. When no one around him was expecting it, he laughed. It was the best joke of his lifetime, even if it was meant to be serious. He scared some other passerbys, unfortunately. Caromont wasnât known to laugh - let alone *that* loud.
âOh, Maxie, I thought you were serious for a moment.â That earned him a raised eyebrow. He sighed. âUnfortunately, taking breaks is not as easy as it is said. My work is incredibly important to the Colonies--â âLet someone else do it.â âHuh?â âYer not a god. No oneâs meant tâwork fer so long anâ *not* get tired. Yer exhausted. If no one else can see it, I sure as hells can.â The corner of Maximiloixâs mouth curled into a sly smile, followed by poking under Caromontâs eye. âYer gettinâ wrinkles here.â âMaxie, I am sixty-seven⌠of course I have wrinkles!â âI dunno if yâve seen me, but Iâve got picture perfect skin--â âLike hells! You have more wrinkles than I do and you are younger than me!â He laughed.
--
âMm. Whatâcha makinâ? Smells good.â âDoes it?â Maximiloix wandered into the kitchen, staring over Caromontâs shoulder like a curious child. He had just pulled a loaf of bread out of the oven, letting it sit to cool; smacking his roommateâs hand away from it. âAh-ah! Not yet! You are going to burn yourself like that. This is a snack until dinner, which you have to tell me what you want.â âI ainât picky.â âYou say that! I need to know what to grab from the markets.â âHm⌠how âbout I gather ingredients? Shouldnât take too long.â âAre you⌠sure?â
Maximiloix offered a mock salute. âItâll be no skin off mâback. Then you can make whatever yâwant from âem.â âIf that is the case well, you get yourself ready and I will have some bread ready for you.â That would have been a casual statement⌠if it didnât look like Caromont was plotting something. There was a shine in them, like someone waiting for a prank to follow through. Maximiloix slowly backed away, watching him. He was all too familiar with that look, and he wasnât liking it. Still, he left to pack and empty a few bags. When he returned, Caromont held a plate out to him⌠with no plate of his own. âPlanninâ on poisoninâ me?â âOh, no, not at all. This is for me to take to work with me this week - but I had a feeling you might enjoy this one.â â...Okay, I donât like that look yer givenâ me. Whatâs up with it.â âNothing! Nothing! I swear to you, nothing it *wrong* with it. It is made as intended.â Maximiloix twisted up his mouth and nose, but relented. Caromont likely wouldnât have let him leave if he denied to eat it.
He took a bite of it - those bright lights in Caromontâs eyes shining. âHm. Yer right. Not bad.â â...What.â âI mean. It ainât the *best* tastinâ thing in the world, but Iâm pretty sure I could live off this.â Caromont looked at him. Stunned. Absolutely, positively, *astounded*. âDo you even *have* taste buds? Thaliak, you must have an iron gut!â Maximiloix laughed. âI take it it was sâposed to be worse? Canât really have *taste* livinâ in thâBrumes. Just gotta get what yâcan get.â âI have *literally* tasted nothing worse than this recipe - and yet it is a staple here.â âYeah? Might have tâget that from yaâ. Could make it a staple while travelinâ.â
--
They both read on the couch - comfortable silence between them as Caromont laid across Maximiloixâs lap. This was nice. The thought of this lasting forever made Caromontâs heart ache for it. He would do anything for it to. âAre you getting hungry?â Caromont spoke softly, afraid to ruin the silence. âYeah, I could eat.â Maximiloix smiled down at him, watching as he stood up to stretch. âMm. I have to go to the markets, it should be quick - so do not let me interrupt you.â Before he left, he leaned over to kiss his cheek - thinking nothing of the action. Not until he stood back up. He covered his mouth and nose, eyes widened in shock and embarrassment - so much so, that he could do nothing but turn on his heel and leave Maximiloix touching the cheek he was kissed on with a dumb smile on his face.
He thought that he would calm down by the time he returned, but those thoughts were thrown out the window when he stood in front of his door⌠hesitating on even going home. Deep breath in⌠deep breath out. He stepped in⌠nothing. Maximiloix mustâve been in the bedroom, passed out or something. He let out a sigh of relief, then turned to his kitchen to place everything on the counters. When he turned back around - what to find but the man he had been crushing on for moons now. What to find but that man rushing for him, grabbing onto his shoulders to return that chaste kiss a hundred fold; hands moving up to hold the sides of his head. Caromont could only stand startled, a deer in headlights, even when Maximiloix pulled away - another bright smile on his face. Though that expression turned to embarrassment when Caromont seemingly broke on the spot. âAh.. too mu--â All he could think to do in response was to return the treatment, near tackling the poor man to the ground, laughing against his lips. So far, this was the best day of his life. âGods, Caro, I love yaâ.â Those words had him pressed tears against his neck, he had waited so long for someone to *mean it*. âI love you too, gods, do I.â

Where are the rest of the villains in this AU? :0
So I've actually answered this question before, and was just gonna link you to the post....but I can't seem to find it so....guess I'll be answering this again...(I honestly wouldn't care if there weren't enough villains to fill a college campus đ¤Śââď¸)
So a lot of this is repeated from the last post, wherever it is now đ but I believe I expanded on several of these villains too.
First let's cover all the villains as a whole. They are all no longer villains! Tobey went good at around 14 and ended up unintentionally inspired a lot of villains to slowly do the same. The last few villains gave up crime when WordGirl retired because they didn't feel like crime would be the same without WordGirl coming to stop them. A few years after Tobey went good, when several villains had already gone good, Two Brains and Tobey teamed up to create the Anti-Villain Association (AVA), which was intended to be a place where former villains and criminals could talk out their issues with other former villains so that they wouldn't turn back to crime. It's still running to this day and they meet once a week at Two Brains's old lair. They don't just keep it to their meetings, they also have fun functions and activities. For the most part the city doesn't think twice about the AVA, but you know there are always those people who don't trust others, and these types of people are convinced the AVA is simply a cover up, that all the former villains are still villains and are gathering to plan a teamed take over of the city or world. The AVA generally ignores these people. Many of each villains' respective weapons were destroyed after going good, but some weapons still remain for different reasons. Some weapons are nice to have for an emergency (Two Brains has rays that don't hurt people, just trap their feet with spray cheese, a nice thing to keep around in the event of a burglary), some weapons have uses in every day life (when making dozens of sandwiches at once, Chuck's condiment ray comes in handy), some felt it was wrong to destroy them for no reason if they weren't hurting anyone or anything (Tobey's robots who weren't destroyed by WordGirl are happily living in a very large cabin DEEP in the woods, Tobey didn't feel right about destroying them, they are practically sentient!) and some the villains felt were too dangerous to destroy (Mr. Big had more advanced mind control tech that he and Leslie were worried would send out a mind control signal if destroyed, rather than take the risk, they simply locked them up under high security.)
Now let's get into each AVA member (well I mean i guarantee I'll forget people, but I'm gonna try and if I missed a specific former villian you want to know about let me know):
Two Brains- The Steven brain was especially inspired by Tobey's actions, and wanted to be a good guy again. However he knew keeping the mouse brain at bay would be a challenge, and knew his only chance of being good was to find a legal way of getting his cheese fix. So Two Brains started making his own cheese. He even made a cheese aging ray to speed up the process. He ended up being able to make more cheese than he could eat, and turned it into a business. Because he doesn't have to spend actual time on the aging part, he can sell quality cheese for a cheap price, and it's a very successful business. I don't have a company name for his cheese business, but the slogan is "Evilly Delicious!" Â His henchmen joined his efforts and still help with the cheese factory. One henchmen, the one with no name, had a daughter (also unnamed because I think I'm funny XD) that Two Brains always considered to be a granddaughter to him. She is aware of her family's past actions and is fine with it. She sometimes will help in the cheese factory but generally prefers not to. Two Brains still co-runs the AVA with Tobey.
Chuck and Butcher- Since they went good around the same time and did the same thing, I'm just doing them together. Chuck went for his dream of running his own sandwich shop, which started as a food truck and now is a restaurant, and Butcher partnered with him and helped him. Chuck makes the sandwiches and figures out the recipes, and Butcher helps and supplies the meat. They buy their cheese from Two Brains. Chuck has a better, albeit not perfect relationship with his mom and brother. Chuck also at one point made T shirts to sell in the sandwich shop...the only people who bought any were the other members of the AVA, and that was only to be supportive. The only people who ever actually wear the T shirts are Butcher and Whammer, and again, it's really only to be supportive and it's not very often they get worn. Butcher got married, had a son, and later had a divorce. The marriage was fine, and the divorce was civil, and he's really good friends with his ex-wife and her new husband. His son's name is Kale and he has powers similar to his dad, except dealing with vegetables. Butcher and Kale don't have the best relationship, and this is really on Kale's part. Kale's very prideful and shuts out help when it's offered to him, even if he needs it (which is often) and Butcher's instinct is always to help his son. Kale has a son of his own who he had at a younger age, and who's mother is currently out of the picture. The son's name is Baker, he's 8 and like his father and grandfather (and great grandfather!) has food related powers, his relating specifically to bread (bread, not pastries! Though Baker does like baking pastries!). Baker loves his grandpa and loves spending time with him. While Kale may shut his dad out when he needs help, it's nothing that would ever make Kale keep Baker away from Butcher.
Granny May- Oh yeah, she's still alive. TBH she's probably the oldest person in the city lol. She simply retired crime upon her family's request. She currently is living in an assisted living facility and is still going strong! She's in a scooter now, but still carries a cane with her for no other reason than to whack people of her own volition.
Mr. Big- Big really struggled with going good, despite wanting to. eventually he figured out his problem was greed and wanting money, so he went in the complete opposite direction and became a minimalist hippie. He currently lives in a trailer park, still has a collection of soft bunny toys and uses a walker now. He and Leslie are good friends.
Leslie- When Big went all hippie, he gave his business to Leslie. She, practically overnight, turned it around into a very successful, but also very sustainable and ethical business. Essentially it's Amazon if they had a heart đ
Whammer- Whammer loves his job as a professional demolisher! You need an unsafe building torn down? Call Whammer and he'll wham it down! Remodeling your kitchen and need it gutted first? Call Whammer, he'll be happy to wham your kitchen! Snow covering the ground and need the roads cleared? Call Whammer with caution cause he might accidentally pile all the snow against the buildings, trapping everyone inside, but damn those roads sure will be whammed clear!
Amazing Rope Guy- ARG got decent at rope tricks and is now an entertainer. He will certainly not be considered for America's Got Talent but if you want to entertain children at a birthday party and are on a budget, he's your guy! Becky and Tobey used to call him for every one of Theo's birthday parties (to support him) until Theo politely requested they stop. Now he's being hired for Julie's parties.
Lady Redundant Woman- over the years she moved up in her copier place, and eventually had done every position there. Now knowing how to do every position required in a copier store, she opened her own store and her copies are the employees. It's perfect because no matter what, she always has the EXACT right amount of workers, and technically she's the only one working so she can keep all the money for herself or her business (corrupt business people, don't get any ideas!). Dave visits her often and is so proud of her. She hates this. But she sure does love her copy store!
Ms. Question- She got hired onto the police force as a professional interrogator. As you can imagine, she's VERY good at her job. She doesn't even use her powers most of the time. That being said, if it was a severe crime like a murder and the person just wasn't talking or she had reason to believe they were lying or withholding details, she would be happy to use her powers, but most of the time she refuses to use her powers on others.
Learnerer- Is a detective! He watches suspects and learns their habits and can easily detect clues that will tell him exactly who it was if it was someone he's observed. He works with Ms. Question often and they're actually a pretty good team. How's that for a team up?
Victoria Best- When her and her brother were teenagers, they were taken away from their parents and put into a foster family. At first neither of them were happy for obvious reasons, they were just taken away from their parents and home. However, while Victor stayed loyal to his parents' wishes and refused to believe that they should have been taken away, Victoria soon began to see their parents for who they really were, and her own past actions for what they really were. She joined the AVA and made an effort to change, encouraging her brother to let go of their parents' control. She currently has no contact with her biological parents, and sees her foster parents regularly. She has one daughter who she loves deeply and always encourages her to just have fun with things. Try everything and fail with pride. Victoria's daughter sees Victoria's foster parents as grandparents. Victoria visits her brother somewhat regularly for small talk, sometimes she'll try to convince him to join the AVA, but she's learned to not push it. She really just sees him to stay in touch, her daughter has never meant Victor, and while Victoria would love for her daughter and brother to meet, she refuses to let them until Victor starts making an effort to be better. She still has hope her brother will come to his senses one day. Victoria runs a daycare, and did so because she wanted to be able to catch warning signs of poor parenting early in life so the children don't have to suffer in a bad household for as long as she had to.
Eileen- Inspired by, I think it was one of those "The Time I..." commercials Disney Channel used to do, Eileen learned that many people don't have the resources to have as nice birthdays as she does. She felt bad and started donating things to charities so people could have as wonderful of birthdays she always wanted to have every damn day. She currently runs her own charity, and if someone seems just a little too greedy, Eileen goes all hulk on them and turns into the Birthday Girl. People usually listen after that.
Hal- Hal sells his old blueprints for weapons to the cops so they can get a lead, and might even work undercover at times to sell current villains crappy weapons that allow them to get caught.
Coach- Instead of coaching new villains on how to be villains, Coach coaches newcomers to the AVA on the basics of staying good when you just want to commit a crime.
Seymour- Started  a Youtube series called "Can You Spot the Scam?" where he exposes scams around the city and gives advice on how to spot them and avoid them. What he's learned from this is: people are not very good at spotting scams.
Inviso-Bill and Big Left Hand Guy- Married. They got married before going good and before WordGirl retired. AVA members and current villains and WordGirl were all invited to the wedding. They spent a little bit of time as a married criminal duo before retiring. They still don't really know what they should do with themselves as good guys, they both sort of hop from job to job. But they are happy none the less!
Rhyme and Reason- Retired after WordGirl did, just didn't feel right to continue crime without her. They are in a QPR and like Inviso-Bill and BLHG don't really know what to do with themselves, but are happy just to have each other and the AVA
Okay I'm probably missing people, so again if your curious about someone in particular that I missed, let me know!
#villians#former villians#ava#don't mind me i'm just actually tagging things so i can find this one later#i will not type this shit a third time lol#word up

BJYX Food Blog
Ahhhhhh I love food so much!!!! hahahaha So I decided to record down all the times food show how much they love each other. This is mostly just for me. Since this is a âfood blogâ, instead of âevidenceâ which you can find elsewhere in other peopleâs analysis posts, I will instead include yummy photos of food. Will continue to update this list.Â
Disclaimer: All fanfiction.Â
1) Pancake - I talked about this in detail here. In summary, dd is bragging about how âhomeyâ he is that he can make pancake. The recipe uses butter, something only people that bake in China will have. Gg likes to bake cookies (even sugar-free one, haha gg is more detail-orientated and health conscious than me) and bread. Apparently gg also loves cheese and dd mentioned that his pancake has cheese.
2) Love on the Rocks or Loveâs Water - This supper famous drink in Chinaâs Starbucks is actually black currant juice + raspberry juice + black tea. You can make it easily at home (itâs not available in U.S. Starbucks). Because of BJYX, you can order it as âLoveâs Waterâ directly at Starbucks in Chinese (Yes, Starbucks knows about them.) Why is it call Loveâs Water? Itâs red, the color of love while also sweet and sour. Also, itâs actually ggâs favorite drink at Starbucks. You can often seen him drinking it during the filming of the Untamed. What about dd? Itâs been mention by gg that dd only drinks water. However, during Untamed filming, dd can also be seen drinking Loveâs Water from Starbucks. Does love change a personâs preference in drinks?
3) Green tea - Weâve all seen the BTS where they share green tea from the same bottle, twice. However, whatâs even more interesting is that dd kept the preference of drinking green tea even after filming. Fans have caught dd drinking green tea during ttxs taping and there are pictures of bottle of green tea in his van. Heâs also mention liking green tea with dls on ttxs.
4) Hot pot
a. Soup - Gg used to say because heâs from Chongqing, he likes spicy hotpot. However, after 2018, he mentioned that he now like twin-sided pot (half spicy, half not). Is he sharing a pot with someone who doesnât eat spicy food that much? In clips from early 2018, we see dd not being able to handle spicy food. However, in 2020, we see him ordering a completely spicy soup base (him being the only one out of the 4 people to do so). What changed for both of them?
b. Sauce - In Chongqing where gg is from, you eat hotpot with a spicy oil sauce. Gg used to say that was what he preferred. However, in an interview, he picked sesame sauce over the spicy oil sauce. He also mentions that he loves the sauce with sweet garlic. If you go back to old video of dd, he has always love sesame sauce with garlic. He also mentioned in ttysj earlier this year that he loves hot pot with sesame sauce with sweet garlic. However, in j5, we see him eating his hot pot with spicy oil sauce. What happened? Are they trying to become each other?
Edit - dd was asked recently why he changed from his sesame sauce to spicy oil sauce and he said âI learned it from a friend I met from filming.â And he said itâs because it makes the hot pot less spicy, and most important, the flavor suits him.
c. Dried yamakurage - Ngl, Iâve never heard of this vegetable before today. Many people from different parts of China was in the same boat. Google search told me that itâs a vegetable they like to add in hot pot in Chongqing. Dd mentioned in ttxs that he likes this vegetable. In j5, you can also find this vegetable on the table.
d. âTreasure in the palmâ - What is that? Ya, I had no idea either until dd ordered it for his hotpot. (Many other Chinese audience on WB also has never heard of it.) Apparently itâs the ligament in the middle of a chickenâs claw. I did some Google research and it seems like itâs mostly eaten bbq style or stir fry. So I searched âćä¸ĺŽâ + hotpot and got the result that itâs eaten in hotpot in....drumroll....Chongqing! (Yes, where gg is from.) So ya......
e. Cow stomach - Another thing dd ordered. This time, this is something dd has always like to eat and has said it since 2017. However, itâs gg that mentioned in an interview that he also like to eat this for his hot pot now. Previously, when asked what his favorite hot pot meat is, he said âbeef.â Maybe he just suddenly change his mood?
I just found these amazing videos from this Youtube Channel about Szechuan (around the area gg is from) hotpot so check them out for more information.
5) Zongzi - Where gg is from (southern China), weâre use to eating savory Zongzi with meat, peanuts, eggs, etc inside. But where dd is from (northern China), they think zongzi should be sweet with red bean, etc.. During an interview when ask to pick between sweet vs savory zongzi, gg immediately picked savory. However, dd wavered and then picked savory at the end.Â
6) Eggplant - Gg said that he eats anything except eggplant because he once threw up when he was younger eating eggplant and it left a trauma on him. Unfortunately for him, the prepared food during CQL had a lot of eggplant because it was in season where they were filming. The actor of LXC during a livestream also mentioned that gg doesnât like to eat eggplant. Then he followed up by saying that dd loves to eat eggplant. But if you watch ttxs, none of the host ever mentions dd likes eggplant (they constantly mention that he loves cilantro, durian, snail rice noodles, etc.). Also in an episode when there was eggplant, dd didnât actively try to eat some. So maybe during their filming time, someone doesnât like to eat eggplant and gave theirs to another person, causing LXCâs confusion?
From my own opinion, I think gg is the type of person that values food a lot. You can see him craving certain food and be very picky about the type of food he likes to eat. He also knows how to cook well so his standard for good food is high. I think dd is the type of person that likes food but isnât super picky of the type of food he eats, as long as itâs good, heâs happy. So heâs more likely to just enjoy the same food that gg likes because that will make both of them happy. I donât think either of them purposefully change their food preference for each other but more that your food habit changes naturally when you spend a lot time with another person.Â
7. Cough Drop
When watching Street Dancing, there was a clip of all the team leaders sitting down watching and dd pulled out a âcandy.â The leader next to him asked him if he was eating candy and he pulled out a pack and shared it with others. He even reached over to make sure he shared his candy with everyone. It was such a cute moment and looked like elementary school children sharing snacks. Itâs cute and thatâs it, right?
Nope, bxg have to live up to the title of âDetective Conan/Sherlock Holmesâ. People start digging through old pictures and found one where they saw the same brand âcandyâ, which was actually cough drops in ggâs back from several years back. The version dd was eating was a âpeach flavor versionâ meant for children. What was interesting is that he ate the peach version himself but shared a different version with others. This was confirm by the company that made the cough drops. (CPN) Itâs possible that heâs savoring the peach ones for himself because gg gave them to him specially.
So gg and dd have the same cough drop. Thatâs it, right? Nope, more Detective Conan popped out and found several videos of fan-meeting in Thailand when gg was eating a cough drop and dd was coughing. Then gg asked some assistant for the cough drop, yes the same exact brand, and then handed them to dd. You can also see dd have something in this mouth before he went on stage. This tells us that gg has definitely given dd this cough drop before.
But are we sure that the supply of cough drop dd has is from gg? Probably, because of what happen in XGDS. During XGDS, dd was eating a cough drop. Normally, other friends, like the people in street dancing will see that and say, âoh youâre eating a candy?â But when gg saw, he asked âdoes your throat hurt?â This means that gg knew that dd was eating a cough drop immediately. How would he know that? Unless heâs the one who gave it to him. (This story has more logic and evidence than papers Iâve read in Cell/Nature/Science.)
Fun fact - some fan bought it and said it taste terrible LOL It taste too sweet on the outside and taste like medicine on the inside (which it is technically herbal medicine.) So donât recommend trying it.

Timmy & Y/N Podcast Pt.2

A/N: Thank you so much for all the love on part 1Â it means the absolute world to me. Here is part 2 hope you enjoy it. Also requests are open if you want me to write anything in particular or if you have anything to say. Anyways enough of holding you up enjoy reading, much love đ
Warning: Fluff, Cussing, SmutÂ
Word Count: 4324
Also if you havenât read PART 1 HERE IT IS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You had just finished recording the first episode of your new podcast
As you were getting ready to go out to get some takeout for dinner you felt dread. You hadnât been out in a while due to the current pandemic what made things even worse was how hard New York was hit by it. As you put on Timmyâs Kid Cudi merch hoodie that he had worn when he opened his show and your favorite black leggings with some basic Nikes. You could hear TimothĂŠe outside in the living room ordering the take out from East Village Pizza, so you guys could quickly pick it up instead of having to order in person. He finished up ordering and came into the room to grab his wallet. He looked over at you seeing the clear fear in your face.
âWhatâs wrong?â he said coming over to you going in for a hug
You hugged him back and looked up at him âIâm just worried about going out. I was talking to Pauline last night and she was just telling me how bad things are getting. I know I should be careful and not fearful but it still bothers me you know.â
âNo, I get it. Weâre living through very chaotic times right now and it perfectly fine to feel how youâre feeling but hey weâre going to follow the safety procedures. Weâre going to wear masks and gloves plus itâs going to be quick okay. You can even wait by the entrance.â
You nodded feeling a slightly better and walked over to your dresser to grab your small black purse. You opened it looking inside making sure your wallet, phone, and keys were in there. Timmy handed you your gloves and black cloth mask. You put them on and started walking with Timmy out of the apartment. You waited as Timmy made sure he locked the apartment correctly. As you guys walked to the elevator you felt very bizarre this didnât feel like reality. New York was usually very noisy especially since you guys lived in the heart of Manhattan. You guys got in the elevator and what was usually a very crammed elevator now only had you two.
Timmy interrupted your thoughts. It seemed like he always knew when your thoughts were becoming dark and he knew he had to block them. âHey on the bright side we donât have the paparazzi to worry about.â He chuckled trying to make you feel calmer. You looked up at him seeing his beautiful green eyes looking at you so lovingly. You leaned onto his shoulder having your arm around his waist and small smile appearing onto your face.
The elevator opened and you walked out with him Timmy locking hands with you. It was a chilly day which was normal for the time of year. You walked to East Village Pizza which was a good hour from the apartment. As you guys you saw the empty sidewalks and roads a part of you felt some sort of peace since overcrowded places gave you anxiety but the other part of you felt unease this wasnât the New York you had become accustomed to.
âYou know a part of me is happy because I get to spend more time with you but I do miss working itâs a large part of my life you know me always wanting to work on something new. I just love to be able to get in the characters headspace and tell their stories.â
âNo, I understand acting has become your life and Iâm so proud of you because youâre doing what you love but hey look at the bright side weâre safe and so are our families. Weâre really blessed not everyone is this lucky.â
âI know Iâm grateful for everything but Iâm just upset because I was talking with my team and they think itâs very likely that there wonât be premieres for the French dispatch or Dune since it would be a major safety matter. Weâll probably do an at home premiere like many movies have recently. Which sucks because I wonât be able to interact with the fans and let them know how much I appreciate them. I mean thatâs probably the best part being able to share something I love to dearly and have poured my heart to with the people I love.â
âCheer up babe nothing is set in stone hopefully youâll get the premiere you deserve and get an Oscar nomination and win.â He laughed shaking his head
âThat is if there even are the Oscars I mean they cancelled the Met Gala and you know how stoked I was for that.â
âI know but hopefully next year. A lot of people were upset about it apparently I was reading about it on twitter.â
The conversation came to a stop as Timmy opened the door to East Village Pizza. You waited by the door as Timmy went up to the counter.
âFor TimothĂŠe Chalamet I ordered about an hour ago.â
âYou ordered 2 cheese pizzas, cheesy garlic knots, an order of mozzarella sticks, and 12 wings?â
âYes.â They handed him the order and he walked over to you he handed you the bag and he carried the 2 large boxes of pizzas.â
1 hour later
You had just finished setting everything up on the table and Timmy was grabbing 2 cups from the kitchen cabinet and a bottle of soda from the fridge.
âYou know what if we go live on my Instagram and we can basically do a mukbang like the ones youâve been watching lately.â
You gave him the biggest smile ever âThatâs a good idea plus you basically promised youâd go live.â You sat down next to him and he was setting up his phone.
âWait how do you work this Iâve never gone live.â
âClick the camera button on the top left corner and on the bottom, swipe left till you see the live button and then just click it.â
âOkay I think weâre live.â
âNow we just wait until people start joining. You grabbed the two cups and filled them up with soda, then passed Timmy his cup.â
Username1: Wow he actually is live
Username2: Wait what are you guys eating?
âY/N and I just got back from buying pizza and of course we got cheesy garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and wings as well.â Just shot him a look âWell I got the wings for myself.â
Username3: Hiii loves how are you guys
âWeâre doing pretty good overall. Y/N has been a little worried lately but Iâve been calming her down. Itâs mainly because someone had the brilliant idea of watching contagion.â
âHey itâs not my fault I honestly didnât think it was going to be as intense as it was. But after that I got Timmy hooked onto my favorite show at the moment so everything worked out.â
Username4: What is it called?
âUmm can I tell them Timmy?â
âI mean you technically can but you should wait since we are going to be doing another podcast episode talking about shows and movies that weâre currently watching.â
âOkay then Iâm sorry guys I guess youâll have to wait but hereâs a hint Iâve been obsessed with shows from Spain lately.â
Username5: I see you lil Timmy out here promoting your podcast lol 12
âAnyways weâre going to probably going to end this here so we can finish eating and start recording again because thatâs all Iâve been able to think about. Bye see you guys very soon.â
âBye loves.â You said blowing the kiss
Timmy pouted âThatâs not fair I want a kiss.
He ended the live and you gave him a peck on the lips thatâs all you get for now.
âYouâre going to regret this later tonight just you wait.â
âIs that a threat Chalamet?â
âMaybe it is maybe it isnâtâ
He went back into your room and started setting up the recording equipment.
You both sat down and started recording
âHey guys weâre back, welcome back hope everyone is good.â
âWe just finished eating pizza and let me tell you it was delicious.â
âIt was good but Y/N cooking is way better honestly. Last night she cooked me some pasta with basil sauce and feta cheese. Then she baked some banana bread muffins so you know Iâm being spoiled lately.â
âI would cook more but you know weâre always busy or youâre always out of town which actually leads us into our first question of the day and that is Username6: How do you guys deal with long distance. Timmy you want to start us off?â
âOf course, Firstly I think long distance sucks but itâs a thing some couples have to deal with. Weâve had to dealt with our fair share and weâre still not used to it. But as advice goes something that always has helped is FaceTime as often as possible. Also call each other one thing we always do is call each other on the phone and just sleep. It helps because for a split moment it feels like youâre in the same room. Another tip is just text each other for example Iâll be busy shooting a scene and Y/N will still be texting me all throughout her day keeping me updated and Iâll be able to see them and respond once Iâm done.â
âLong distance sucks and itâs really hard because youâre so used to each other and honestly thatâs why I try my best to always go with Timmy wherever heâs traveling to but if I canât then weâll always be facetiming. My advice is just know that itâs only temporary and this will only strengthen your relationship at the end of the day.â
Username7: What are you guys currently watching?
âWell Y/N got me into Money Heist recently we watch all 4 seasons in about a week. We also watched little fires everywhere which is really good if you havenât watched it I recommend it heavily I mean I was hooked the entire time. We also watched outerbanks since thatâs all everyone was talking about I wonât lie I did enjoy itâ
âWe also watched Hollywood by Ryan Murphy which is visually stunning and has a really good storyline and of course we rewatched the office because you know Timmy is basically the biggest fan ever. I also watched dead to me season 2 I mean I liked it but I donât know it had a slow beginning and the last 2 episodes were packed and it ended on a cliffhanger so Iâm curious about where thatâs going to take season 3 to.â
âIf you guys canât tell all weâre doing lately is watching shows or movies.â
Username8: Do you guys think youâll always live in New York?
âThatâs a really difficult question to give a definite answer to. And something Timmy and I always discuss.â
âThe reason itâs so hard is because New York is where my family is. Itâs where I grew up and honestly yes it has its issues but I still love it here and wouldnât mind raising a family here but Y/N has made some great points about why we should maybe try moving somewhere else. But honestly who knows I mean we can technically live anywhere but career wise its best if I stay in New York or Move to California.â
âSo honestly time will only tell but I think I can say that for now weâre staying in New York.â
Username9: Y/N what is your favorite movie from TimothĂŠe so far?
âHmm thatâs really hard I love Lucaâs work so call me by your name is up there.â
âWhy do you love Lucaâs work so much?â
âWell heâs insanely talented and all his films are beautifully shot but I respect him so much because you know I donât like horror movies I never have but I Watched suspiria and I loved it. And only a few directors can make me actually love a horror movie I think only Luca and Ari Aster have made me love a horror movie.â
âAri Aster is very talented I mean Midsømmar was mind blowing and Florenceâs performance was outstanding. If you havenât watch Midsømmar I highly recommend it but it is gruesome so if you canât handle gore donât watch it.â
âBut getting back on track I think Beautiful Boy is my favorite movie. Itâs highly upsetting to me that its very underrated plus I think you should have gotten an Oscar I mean your performance was outstanding.â
âAw thank you Cherie.â
âSo, if you havenât watched beautiful boy go watch it.â
Username10: What is your favorite memory together?
âI think any memory that involves just being with you and being able to cuddle you. I really appreciate all the time we get to spend together. So, I really enjoy the little things it because thatâs what love means for me. But if I had to choose a specific memory it would have to be when I surprised Y/N with pit tickets to see her favorite artist. She was freaking out the entire time jumping up and down kissing me. I mean it was the cutest thing ever it really warmed my heart. Why I love this memory so much was because Y/N had been wanting to see them live for so long and sheâd always talk about it and when I finally surprised her she just couldnât believe it. Then we went to the concert and it was our first one together. The night was incredible yes, we were recognized but everyone around us was respectful and we were all dancing our hearts out that night. I think that was probably one of the nights I really saw y/n let lose in public and only cared about having fun.â
âI love that memory so much but I think I have to say my favorite memory of us was when we went to France in December so it was Timmy, his parents, Pauline and I and we all traveled there the week before Christmas. But honestly thatâs when I felt truly a part of your family. It was a truly special Christmas plus I got to see where youâd go to every summer. Then 2 days later it was Timmyâs birthday which we went to Paris for and had a truly romantic morning. He took me to this really cute cafĂŠ and we ate crĂŞpes which I love. Then I took him back to his familyâs home and thatâs when we surprised him with a birthday party. But that France trip will always have a special place in my heart.â
âYou know Iâve been getting a lot of questions about a certain interview that has been floating around I think you know which one.â
âThe one where I donât answer the question and become upset?â
âYes, that one. A lot of people have just been asking about what happened and how I felt about the whole situation and it honestly it upset me because it was a really rude comment.â
âNo, I understand and I just want to say is that yes I was upset at the time but now Iâve gotten over it since a lot of time has passed but it taught me to have thicker skin when it comes to interviews and just life in general.â
âand yes, have but youâre still my sweet soft boy.â
âYes, obviously Iâm not going to change and become a total asshole or distance myself completely and never do interviews again but instead Iâm just learning to not become upset so easily when it comes to things like that.â
âIâm proud of you for being mature enough to use that experience as something to grow from instead of using it against the world.â
Username11: Do you have each otherâs passcodes for each otherâs phone?
âThis is an interesting one I think we both have the same answer to this.â
âyes, we do but let elaborate honestly if I could I wouldnât have a passcode to my phone I wouldnât I used to just have Y/Nâs fingerprints on my phone but now with my knew one its only face id so she just has my passcode. I trust her and I have nothing to hide. Plus, my phone is basically hers because when weâre out her phone is always dying and she just ends up using mine.â
âIf only I could show you guys all the embarrassing and adorable pictures he has on his camera roll. I slowly release them on his birthday when I do a cute birthday post or just randomly but of course with Timmyâs permission.â
Username12: Is it necessary to know everything from your partnerâs previous relationships?
âThis is a really good question. Personally, I have shared everything about my pervious relationships with Y/N and so has she with me. I know not all couples want to do this but if you can you should because we may not accept the fact, that is previous relationships shape us so itâs helpful to know about them it gives you a new perspective and lets you understand each other better.â
âI agree with Timmy completely, itâs helped me knowing about his previous relationships because I know why he does certain things and Iâm able to understand better instead of becoming upset. I think itâs a key factor to having a healthy relationship. Which I got a lot of questions about how do you have a good healthy relationship and how do you settle disagreements questions within that realm.â
âWell for us weâre always honest with each other I know thatâs so clichĂŠ but honesty is everything. A thing we love to do is lay in bed at night with all the lights off and just lay with each other and talk. This is the time when a lot of our deep conversations happen we talk about basically everything and also I feel like itâs a lot easier to open up I donât know if itâs because late at night or if itâs because its dark and the environment is just so serene.â
âThatâs a goof point I think all relationships should have a time to just be able to talk their hearts out with no distractions, because no one wants to be vulnerable and pouring their heart out to their lover and just look over and see them distracted on their phone. Who knows if thatâs why relationships nowadays are failing. Maybe because everyone is so public and on their phones all the time and arenât able to communicate and fully focus on each other.â
âI know Iâve said this before I think I tweeted about it a while ago but read The Shallows by Nicholas Carr itâs a really great read and itâs all about what technology is doing to our brains. But I should also put this out because I donât want any misunderstandings. Iâm not saying never use your phones or social media you can do that who am I to tell you that you canât All Iâm saying is have when youâre having deep personal conversations fully give your full attention donât be an asshole on your phone and just saying mhmm. You wouldnât like that so donât do that to other people.â
Username13: When you first moved in together did you discover something about each other you didnât know prior?
âI donât think I did but you have to keep in mind we were basically always with each other. Iâd always be sleeping over at Timmyâs place or heâd be at my place. There would be times when Iâd sleep over for weeks plus weâd always be traveling together. So, it always felt like we lived together and now itâs just official.â
âYeah no I think I know everything about Y/N when you know a person for so long you just get to know them so well plus we donât even have boundaries anymore weâre so used to each other. At first Y/N was super shy around me but now she isnât. But I think thatâs it for todayâs episode thanks for giving us a listen. Weâre pretty tired due to the lack of sleep weâve been getting.â
âBye guys. Much love going your way.â
You turned off the mic and helped Timmy put everything away.
âThat was great Iâve really been enjoying sharing more about my life.â
âI told you but you never listened to me.â
You both laid in bed cuddling each other. Timmy kissing your neck leaving love bites behind, getting on top of you. You start kissing his lips biting his bottom lip softly. He starts taking his clothes off only leaving his boxers on. You could see his erection through the thin white fabric of his boxers. You get up taking off your hoodie and leggings only leaving on your bralette and panties. You wrapped your legs around his waist continuing to kiss him, he lowered his hand taking off your panties slowly starting to finger you. You let out a soft moan
âYouâre so wet for me.â
You stared at him moaning seeing the lust in his eyes quickly taking off your bralette. Passionately he kissed you bringing his other hand to tenderly grabbing her breasts he started kissing down from her lips to her neck down to you breasts looking up at you. Your hand went down pulling his boxers down throwing them across the room. You slowly started to stroke his cock as you continued kissing him.
âI want to suck you.â you said pushing him off you gently making him lay on the bed his back resting against the headboard. You sat on top of his legs going down to his cock teasing him making him moan. You started sucking his tip grabbing the bottom of his shaft as you slowly sucked more of his cock. You took him out of your mouth seeing the hickies on his lower stomach fading away you start kissing there closing your eyes enjoying the sensation that he is yours and only yours. He looks down at you âCome up here beautiful I want to kiss you.â
You get up laying on his chest caressing him admiring his pale freckled body.
âI love you.â
âI love you.â
He got on top of you and pushed his cock into your pussy slowly thrusting into to you. Kissing your soft lips comforting you as he thrusted harder. You moaned loudly having your arms warped around his neck moaning into his ear. You thrusted your hips towards him becoming desperate wanting to cum.
âGreedy arenât we.â He became rougher with you. He wasnât so gentle and soft as he seemed. You started to cum making you moan loudly and unable to stay still as you came Timmy continued thrusting into you cumming as well. He kissed your forehead as he took his cock out.
âCome on baby lets go shower.â He grabbed you caring you to the bathroom placing you on the counter. You admired his naked body as he turned on the shower, he got in making sure the water was warm âOkay itâs ready you can come in.â you got off the counter walking in the spacious marble shower. He grabbed your shampoo pouring some onto his hands and slowly massaging it into hair. You felt the water on your skin as you were under the shower head washing off the shampoo while Timmy started putting shampoo onto his hair as well you finished washing your hair and Timmy got under the shower head washing his hair. You wrapped your hands around him hugging him as he washed his hair. He finished washing his hair and you both continued to wash your bodies. The scent of the vanilla and coffee body wash as he scrubbed his back you got more of the body wash rubbing it onto his back. He later did the same evening rubbing the inside of your thighs. Once you were both clean you turned off the shower Timmy walking out grabbing his robe and putting it on then passing your matching robe.
You walked to the sink started to brush your teeth you could hear Timmy in the room being clumsy trying to find his boxers and pajamas bottoms. You walked back to the room grabbing your hairbrush looking over at Timmy
âCan you brush my hair and braid it again please.â
He motioned his hand to the bed you sat on the edge facing your back towards him. He started brushing your hair making sure there werenât any knots. He then did 2 braids like the ones heâd always do. He kissed the top of your head âOkay all done now get dressed while I go brush my teeth and face.â
You got up the bed looking at him as he walked towards the bathroom door admiring him seeing his wet loose curls bounce. You walked to the closet grabbing a black silk dress and black panties. Once you got dressed you turned off all the lights in the room and laid in bed waiting for Timmy. He came back into the room jumping onto the bed laying down.
âCareful Chalamet youâre going to make me fall of the bed.â he started laughing âIt wouldnât be the first time, would it?â you rolled your eyes a playfully hit his shoulder. He grabbed the controller turning off the tv and putting the controller on his bedside table. Moving over to you space cuddling you âIâm tired.â You turned to your side facing him placing your head onto his chest.
âOkay babe lets sleep.â He kissed your forehead and slowly started falling asleep snoring softly. You were fell asleep in his not being bothered by his snoring, as you were used to it after years of sleeping with him.
A/N: Hello hope you loved it let me know if you want a part 3 or anything else. bye for now stay safe đ

Department One: Apparel And Jewelry
What are you wearing today? Just a white duster dress. Very loungewear-y, hahaha. I didnât feel like wearing shorts today.
What does your favorite shirt look like? At the moment Iâm obsessed with my Vante shirt. Itâs fanmade but it was made tastefully; the designs arenât too loud and I love the cute little shoutouts and tributes to his past paintings, so it had been a ridiculously easy decision for me to want to buy it.
What kind of underwear do you prefer wearing? Eh I donât really have a preference as long as I donât find them uncomfy.
What are your favorite kind of jeans? Iâm definitely still stuck in my mom jeans phase. Idk man, I just love how they match nearly all kinds of tops.
What do the last pair of shoes you wore look like? They were adidas sneakers. Not a big fan of chunky shoes but itâs an Ivy Park and it was on a big discount HAHAHA so I didnât hesitate to get them.
How many shoes do you own? A little more than 10. I love shoes and wanna collect them someday...just not today, hahaha.
How much jewelry do you own? Not too big on jewelry; most, if not all the ones I wear are just borrowed from my mom since we share the same style anyway.
Do you own any real diamonds or other expensive jewelry? Yeah, the ones I would borrow from my mom are pretty pricey.
Has anyone ever gave you jewelry as a present? Yes, I received rings and necklaces from my ex. One of my aunts also gave me a necklace when I turned 7.
Do you like diamonds or gemstones better? I just stick with diamonds...which is...also a gemstone too, if Iâm not mistaken.
Silver or gold? Silver.
Department Two: Electronics
Do you have a DVD player in your car? Not in mine, but we do have one in the family car. I used to watch movies on there often but after one grueling road trip where my motion sickness acted up, I havenât wanted to use it since.
If you have one, what does your camera/camcorder look like? I just use the camera in my phone but back in the day I used to have a DSLR; that was when I thought I wanted to take up photography, heh. It was a Nikon D3100.
How much did it cost? Iâm not sure since my dad gave it to me as a present, but a quick search told me it wouldâve cost him around P20,000 which issssss wow more expensive than I thought.
What kind of cellphone do you have? I have an iPhone 8 with an LCD screen thatâs deteriorating by the day HAHA. I really need to get a new phone.
How often do you send texts? I text just for work purposes now, so it really depends on how busy my accounts are. Some days would require me to send out more texts than usual.
Do you have your own computer or does your family share? I have my own laptop. My workplace also provided me with whatâs supposed to be my work laptop, but they had it sent to me when I was already a couple of months into my job and all my needed files and programs were already in my personal laptop. Since I was too lazy to start everything all over again, Iâve never actually used the work laptop haha.
How many computers are in your house? We have three laptops in total - my siblings and I each have our own. Kind of a necessity these days.
Do you still have a VCR? I donât think so.
How many DVDs do you own? We probably have around 30-50 but most of them are movies from like the 2000s that we just havenât thrown out. Personally, I have about five DVDs of old films like Gone with the Wind, Rebel Without A Cause, Breakfast at Tiffanyâs, etc, and recently Iâve been buying BTS merch so DVDs are part of that mix too.
Does your car have a GPS? No. I use Waze on my phone instead.
What kind of iPod/MP3 player do you have? Havenât used an iPod in like a literal decade. I use Spotify for my music.
How many songs are on it? Spotify doesnât work that way since itâs technically a database of songs.
What size is your TV? Never bothered to ask/check.
How many TVs are in your house? Four. Living room, dining room, master bedroom, my brotherâs room.
What video game systems do you have? We have a PS3 and PS4.Â
What about handhelds? Switch. I believe my sister also still has her DSi stored somewhere.
How many video games do you have? Probably somewhere around 50-60. My dad and brother are content with repeating their games lol.
Department Three: Home
What kind of shampoo do you use? Itâs a Dove variant but Iâm just blanking out on the specific name/what it does.
Soap or shower gel? Shower gel.
What does your comforter look like? Itâs pretty colorful and has geometric shapes and lines.
Does it match your pillows? Yep, they come in a set.
What size is your bed? Twin.
Do you or your parents like to decorate the house with various things or is it plain? My mom puts considerable effort in decorating the house but itâs nothing overboard that it feels tacky. Thereâs enough decor in enough spaces.
Does the furniture in your house match? Sure. I imagine my mom would be very irritated if she felt something was uncoordinated at home.
What does your couch look like? Itâs a gray L-shaped couch. Gabie broke a portion of the couchâs springs when it had only spent its like first two weeks at home but surprisingly my mom has not noticed it yet; probably because she barely sits on that side.
How many does your dining room/kitchen table seat? It has six chairs, though since weâre five one of the chairs is almost always unoccupied.
Do you have any fancy china? No, my mom isnât the type to collect those.
Do you have outside furniture? Yeah we have a table and chairs up on the rooftop, if they count.
What do your curtains look like? My siblings and I have pull-down blinds. The other rooms have these pulled-back gold curtains thatâs accompanied by white sheers.
Department Four: Grocery
What kind of bread do you get? Sliced white bread, always. Sometimes my mom will pick up pan de sal, but she gets those from a certain bakery and no longer the grocery.
What is your favorite kind of cake? CHEEEEEEEEEESECAAAAAAAKE.
Do you get a lot of sweets from the grocery store? Eh, nah. Not a big fan of sweets.
What kind of soda is your favorite? Donât like soda.
Do you drink juice? What kind? I can take it or leave it. I wouldnât buy it for myself.
What is your favorite chewing gum? Doesnât matter to me. The flavors last for only like a minute anyway.
Do you usually get candy from the check-out aisle? Nah. Those are far more accessible so who knows who couldâve touched or tampered with them. Plus, I mentioned I donât like sweets.
What is your favorite soup? Miso or cream of mushroom.
Have you ever had soup when you were sick? No. I donât enjoy hot beverages/liquids very much so I doubt I would feel comfort from soup when Iâm sick.
What are your favorite canned vegetables? Not sure if itâs a cultural difference thing but canned vegetables kind of sound gross and I donât think Iâve encountered those (I actually had to look it up lol). My parents always buy fruits and veggies as is.
What do you eat for breakfast? Fried rice is a constant but my mom switches up the set of viands every time. Some of the meals she serves would be hotdogs, eggs (either scrambled, omelette, fried, or sunny-side up), corned beef, dried fish, hashbrowns, luncheon meat, tapa, and Vienna sausages. Poptarts or toaster strudels? Poptarts. Iâve never had toaster strudel and Iâm honestly not sure what that is.
What salad dressing do you prefer? Spicy mayo.
Ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard? MAYONNAISE. I can live without the other two.
What kind of cookie do you like best? I only ever eat chocolate chip.
What kind of snacks do you get at the grocery store? Salted egg chips or Pringles. Not a big fan of snacks either. This survey is making me realize Iâm way more into full meals than anything else.
Do you get the meat from the deli? Er, we donât have delis here. Too fancy a concept lmao. If we have them, they are most likely in those extremely upscale, boujee neighborhoods.
What is your favorite frozen dinner? I mean my dad buys frozen meat, fish, etc, but the frozen dinner sets that I see in American culture, which Iâm guessing is whatâs being referred to in this question, are not common here.
Do you prefer frozen dinners to actual cooking? I honestly canât imagine how itâs filling, but then again Iâve never tried it. Personally, food made from scratch is still the best.
What is your favorite kind of pasta? Fettuccine.
Do you eat meat? And if not, do you eat vegetarian meat? Yes, I eat meat. I get vegan options if theyâre accessible and affordable, but those choices are hard to come by here.
What is your favorite fruit? Avocado is really the only one Iâll give a pass to. Everything else tastes horrible.
What about vegetable? Broccoli, bell peppers, green beans.
Department Five: Health And Beauty
What kind of makeup do you normally use? None. If I absolutely have to put on makeup, I will begrudgingly put on foundation, maybe some eyeliner, and lip gloss. And they will all most likely be borrowed from my sister.
Do you wear more makeup on special events? Not necessarily.
What is your favorite makeup brand? I wouldnât be the right person to ask because I would just say none of them.
Do you use any acne products? Mmm no, I just splash water on my face, really. I actually got into a conversation about skincare with my co-workers yesterday and besides the usual shocked experessions I get when people find out I donât use products, they recommended I at least get moisturizer and sunscreen. Idk, letâs see but historically itâs been hard to convince me to invest in skincare haha.
What kind of perfume do you use? I have one of BeyoncĂŠâs perfumes, Heat Rush. I donât actually know if thatâs still in production but itâs been my staple for like a decade or so now.
Have you ever been on a diet? No. I never really had to be on one.
What products do you use in your hair? Shampoo and conditioner.
How often do you brush your hair? Only when I have to leave the house or have an important virtual work meeting.
What do you take when you have an upset stomach? Nothing. The toilet usually solves that for me lol.
Do you take any prescription medicine? Nope.
Department Six: Movies, Music, And Books
What is your favorite movie of all time? Itâs been Two for the Road for a solid nine years and it doesnât look like anythingâs on its way to dethroning it anytime soon.
What genre of movie do like best? Drama. The more realistic it is, the better.
What was the last movie you watched? Itâs a Korean film called Be With You. I liked it and I cried waterfalls, but the ending was so rushed it was kind of disappointing.
What was the last movie you purchased? I donât buy movies. If I wanted to see a film Iâll check if Netflix has it, then if they donât I just try to scour one of those illegal movie streaming sites that always happen to have thousands of pornographic ads hahaha.
What is your all time favorite band? Paramore. Do you still buy CDs? Only from artists Iâm an extremely huge fan of. Right now that would be BTS, so Iâm catching up on all the albums theyâve released in the last eight years.
What was the last CD you bought? I got the Butter album set, if that counts. If it doesnât, the last full-length album I purchased was Dark & Wild.
What was the last song you listened to? I think it was Permission To Dance.
What is your favorite book? I havenât found it yet.
Do you even like reading? I used to love it a lot more, to the point that back in grade school I was known as always having a book in my hand. I just donât know where that passion went.
How often do you read? Nearly never. I mean...I do read fanfics, I guess; but I wonât count those.
Department Seven: Sports And Fitness
Do you own a bike/scooter/skateboard/etc.? We do have a bike at home, but that doesnât mean I know how to ride it. We donât have the other two.
How old were you when you learned to ride a bike w/o training wheels? I still donât know how to last on a bike without training wheels heheh.
Have you ever been camping? Nah.
How often do you work out? Nope but at work my boss just started another fitness challenge, so Iâll probably have to get back on working out soon just because I would want to accomplish the challenge.
Are you in good shape? Sure, I think so. Iâm not like fit fit because I neveeer exercise haha, but I also donât make it a point to constantly eat unhealthy foods or have an unhealthy lifestyle to the point that it affects my body.
Do you go to a gym? I do not. I thought of getting a membership at the start of the year but Iâm glad I didnât push through with it because all the gyms are still closed anyway.
Have you ever been fishing? No. Idk if itâs my kind of pastime or not.
Have you ever been on a boat? Yeah. My country has like 7000 islands so I was bound to get on a boat at some point in my life haha.
Can you play golf? Never seemed interesting to me so no. Even on Wii Sports I barely picked golf.
Ever rode on a golf cart? Yeah, in resorts where we had to ride them to be taken to our room.
Would you ever go hunting? Thatâs an easy no.
What is your favorite sport? Pro wrestling or table tennis.
Ever played on a sports team? No, my school didnât have a table tennis varsity.
Department Eight: Toys
What was your favorite toy as a child? Cash registers because I liked the buttons. Also Play-Doh sets that had those contraptions that would squirt out the clay in various shapes.
Do you still play with toys? Well, no.
Do you collect any toys? I donât, but Iâm not opposed to start buying Funko Pop figurines of people or characters Iâm interested in.
Did you ever have building blocks? Sure, but I was never creative enough for them.
Did you play with dolls? No.
Barbies or Bratz? Which were better? BRATZZZZZZ
What is your favorite board game? Scrabble.
Do you like to do arts and crafts? Hell no.
Do you think that kids now have it better than when you were young? For sure, but isnât that kind of the goal?

hello !!! omg yalls admin names are so CUTE it makes me hungry itâs currently 1am where im at 𤤠anyways if the boys at karasuno were youtubers instead, what kind of videos do u think theyd post? discussion is OPEN
Hi anon!! Weâre glad you like our admin names !! We were pretty hungry when we made them hehe. Also thank you for this ask and for being our first anon!! We had a lot of fun doing this!! We were laughing so much while we were facetiming as we did it!! So thank you again and much love! Hope you enjoy!! â¤ď¸ - Noodle â¨, BananaMilk đŻ, and Frice đ
Karasuno as YouTubers AU
School: Karasuno
Genre: Headcanons, fluff, crack
Warnings: one mention of alcohol
HINATA SHOYO & KAGEYAMA TOBIO
Hinata definitely dragged Kageyama to make this channel
He only agreed if they did things they both could do
So, they have a whole Volleyball 101 series like how to receive, block, set, etc. They also help teach like volleyball fundamentals and strategies!
They also do exercise and stretch tutorials
Kags would have a series of good and healthy food while Hinata would vlog about his days which mostly are about playing volleyball and biking lol PLUS interview his friends especially during training camps like Kenma and Bokuto.
They do lives sometimes but they always end up fighting/bickering somehow and it becomes popular contentÂ
SUGAWARA KOUSHI
Actual DIY king!!
He has a DIY channel for pen pals, bookmarks, socks, candles, slime, etc.
He will even do the really weird life hacks to see if they work or not
Very soft and pastel with a sprinkle of chaos because it is SugawaraÂ
Vibes of those angry home cafe videos like one minute heâs making really cute cakes but another minute heâs punching the air and pouring chocolate all over his hand
His videos are popular not only because heâs so sweet and friendly (and chaotic) but also because heâs so pretty (has many girls and guys in the comments like âare you single uwuâ)
SAWAMURA DAICHI
You know that dad on YouTube with the âhow toâŚâ? Thatâs Daichi
Examples of the videos are like âHow to fix your tireâ or âHow to manage your financesâÂ
He also loves to tell about his life and just gives advice like âWhat it means to be responsibleâ or âTips for proper and open communicationâ
Also has âfunnierâ bits like âHow I managed 11 demons (10 children + 1 vice-captain)âÂ
(itâs 30 mins and most of the time itâs actually just chaotic bits of volleyball practice from their school and even when they are at the Japan camp)
(also the boys from the schools (read: Bokuto and Kuroo) take the camera at one point and just bombards the video)
NISHINOYA YUU & TANAKA RYUUNOSUKE
We all know they have a joint acct!! Their channel is like Korean Englishmen/Jolly
They love to vlog whether it's about school, their trips, volleyball practice, just anything!!
They also love to do all the challenges and trends
Their most viewed video is of them trying do the fire noodle challenge bc they almost DIED eating itÂ
(they chugged a whole bottle of milk between themselves and even went to the store to buy more and bathed themselves in it)
TSUKISHIMA KEI & YAMAGUCHI TADASHI
Their channel is like Buzzfeed Unsolved/The Watchers !!
Yama is Ryan and Tsukki is Shane. Chaos and debates obviously happen.Â
Would collaborate with Tanka and Noya or the other first years to go to a local haunted house place together and record their reactions/experiences. Buzzfeed unsolved way.Â
Separate sections: tsukki makes a playlist of music and yamaguchi local food restaurant reviews(think Worth It).Â
Reaction videos to music videos (itâs fun to watch them because tsukki usually maintains his cool stance and yamaguchi is completely honest with his feelings. Tsukki mostly criticises and analyzes musical technicalities, but sometimes when heâs amazed you can see his eyes widen.Â
YACHI HITOKA
Her channel is mostly drawing tutorials + speed painting!!
Also does Adobe product tutorials, very technical but also cutesy aesthetic like she has a her own character (thatâs a baby chick) at the corner of her videos
Vlogs where she live records her drawing + sometimes rants about the torture of rendering 3D animation
She actually vlogged the one time she spent 28 hours at the library trying to render a video that was 1 minute and 30 seconds long...
She does some baking videos and sometimes does collab with Asahiâs channel!! Because of their height differences, the top of Asahiâs head is often cut off from the screenÂ
Kiyoko makes frequent appearances at Yachiâs channel and everyone loves when she comes on
SHIMIZUÂ KIYOKO
She would have an ASMR channel that mostly focuses on her hands and the objects sheâs using
She doesnât like showing her face or having anything attached to her so no one ever knows itâs her (sheâs uncomfy with all the attention vs. when sheâs on Yachiâs channel where the attention is shared)
But she becomes like one of the top ASMR channels bc her vibes are really soft and also super aesthetic
Also, SOUND QUALITY !!! exquisite !!! best crunches, taps, scratches, etc.Â
Her most popular ASMR video is the one where she roleplays as a witch
NARITA KAZUHITO &Â KINOSHITA HISAHI
They have an anime/Marvel channel together!
Top 10 Anime Betrayals, Top 10 Anime Deaths, Best 2020 Anime Shows, Could this character beat Goku discussion/debate, etc. You name it. They have it.Â
They do reaction videos to anime shows/movies/marvel trailers.Â
Civil War Debate: Who Was Right (a lot of differing opinions so its LONG), All Marvel movies Ranked, Funniest moments in Marvel compilations, etc.Â
Their most popular video is when they made a funny video pretending to be BNHA heroes and have quirks. They invited the other 2nd years as well and it was a MESS but they had fun making it and editing it with bad effects and all.
ENNOSHITA CHIKARA
Of course our choir boy has a singing channel (covers, original songs, collaborations, etc.)
Plays guitar and sometimes posts acapella videos
He does youtube live with his fans and talks about his day, what he is working on, his favorite songs/musicals, etc. He answers their questions too!!Â
Ennoshita does a collaboration series with Takeda sensei (our musical lover) reacting and discussing music videos/songs. Very knowledgeable and calming vibes
He does it with the Karasuno team too and those become his most popular videos because they are SOOO chaotic and funny. Complete opposite of when he does a collab with Takeda sensei
AZUMANEÂ ASAHI
Mainly a cooking channel that specializes in easy recipes!!
He also does a miniature food series. You would think he would have a hard time but he is very adept with small instruments.
Bakes sometimes due to Yachiâs influence, loves to bake bread from scratch.
Fashion tips : âHow to layer clothes,â âHow to find your aestheticâ, âHow to do monochrome looks rightâ, etc.Â
He did a makeover series on the Karasuno team where he diagnoses and dresses them up from head to toe
One of his popular series is âHow to cook/bake without a recipeâ and the Karasuno group are invited to do it in teams! It is pure entertainment lol.
BONUS~
Coach Ukai and Takeda sensei make frequent appearances in Daichiâs channel / Hinata & Kageyamaâs channel
Takeda sensei also goes food hunting with Yamaguchi sometimes and will leave reviews for the restaurant drinks (alcohol

The sun sets on another day - TRSNS fanfic
@redstone-sunâs fic fucked me up so I did what I know and wrote about it to cope asdfghjhgf
the basic summary of this fic: Mumbo has a Bad Day(TM) and we stan Good Guy IskallÂ
AO3 Link
On days like these, Mumbo felt his guilt like concrete weights tied tight around his throat.
The actual impulses and desires to obey that sanguine call no longer affected him as often as they used toâperhaps out of sheer necessity rather than true recovery, but the fine details didnât matter. Not to Mumbo at least. The intrusive thoughts and feelings, however, were another story.
Sometimes he wished he could just press a button and fix all of his problems like one would a faulty machine, force him through some kind of psychological reboot. His prescribed process was tedious enough as it was; exposure therapy was a snailâs race by nature, and the transitions were mind-numbingly gradual. From mentions of redstone, to discussions of redstone, to looking at redstone, to touching redstone, to holding redstone, toââ
And so on and so forth.
Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and the process was anything but linear and orderly. For a long while it felt like every step he took forward, something would send him three steps and a stumble back. One moment he was setting up semi-complex circuits from memory in his obsidian home, the next Grian would make an off-hand comment about a test contraption one of the hermits built nearly killing him and Mumbo would find himself involuntarily wishing it had.
Those moments scared him. He knew that it wasnât really him thinking then, that it was just some heinous, corrupted part of him, some deep innate brand of the Red Sun festering behind his eyes. But it wasnât any less terrifying to catch himself tempted by the crimson voice in the back of his mind that told him he didnât belong in the overworld, that he needed to continue wiring in the quartz covered plains or heâd never be satisfied, to beg and steal and lie and cheat if it meant getting back to the Sunâs dimension, that if anyone got in his way he had to kill kill kill kill kilL KILL KILL KILL KILL Kâ
. . .
Those nights, Mumbo felt pain beyond anything heâd known before, from the crescent welts of his fingernails dug deep into the meat of his forearms, to the once-foreign hopelessness that left him wondering why anyone thought he was worth saving anymore.
--------------------------------------------
On days like these, Mumbo found himself convinced that heâd never be released from his blood-stained binds.
It hurt more than he cared to admit, having redstone so intrinsically ruined for him. Sure, he had brute-forced his way into standing it enough to look over blueprints with Iskall and play with it like a child when he was alone, but it was never the same. Nothing compared to the satisfaction of improving on an existing design, nor the pride and excitement of inventing something entirely new.
Inventions. Redstone was such a progressive material, a resource far beyond any of the hermitsâ understanding. It was able to do just about anything if only someone could crack the code to get there. Most of them already knew of the wonders it could provide--plenty of the hermits used redstone-based bionics, or at the very least a form of enhancement.
Iskall was no stranger to them, obviously. Perhaps Mumbo shouldnât have been surprised, then, when the man came to him amidst his wallowing with a stack of crudely arranged notes in hand. He was somehow more chipper and cheeky than usual if the bright smile on his face was anything to go by. There was a proud sort of flourish as he handed the papers to Mumbo, who sat with wariness and confusion. That apprehension, however, was quickly replaced with curiosity.
Blueprints and notes regarding the conception of redstone-powered contraptions and devices would typically be a quick read for Mumbo, but even having been friends with Iskall and Grian for quite some time, there was no way to scan through the chicken-scratch handwriting and less-than discernible doodles in a short amount of time.
Mumboâs initial attempt at cracking the code that was Iskallâs notes was interrupted not ten seconds in when two loaves of bread, an apple, and a bottle of water was set down in front of him, making him flinch slightly. He stared at the selection for a moment, mouth suddenly dry, before nodding his thanks and reaching for the apple. It was in that instant that Mumbo realized he didnât remember the last time he had something to eat and swallowed down his embarrassment.
The two men soon fell into silence as Mumbo worked through the notes bit by bit, often pausing to right papers that had somehow folded or flipped upside down in Iskallâs attempt to organize them. Though it took a while, a careful read through informed Mumbo of Iskallâs plans to research a possibility of mechanically repairing his vocal cords.
There was a prominent section on the usage of prismarine crystals and diamond powder to color match the box with his eye prosthetic, and another that explored the possibility of controllable pitch and volume settings.
(In a better scenario, Mumbo would have been terrified at the possibilities that would come with giving Iskall such power, and even now he wondered who the first prank victim would be.)
All of it was quite clearly in the early stages of development, but Mumbo could help but brighten up at the thought of Iskall being able to talk again. It wasnât something he liked to think about for long or often, but he missed Iskallâs voice. Before the incident, his friendâs laughs and sly comments were one of the things that helped the days go by, and Mumbo knew he wasnât the only one who thought so. The man deserved his voice and more for what heâd gone through.
But information on Iskallâs voice-box plans came to an unexpected stop halfway through the stack of notes. Suddenly Mumbo was reading through two different handwriting styles about mechanical joints and synthetic muscle fiber and artificial nerve endings andââ
He stopped reading. This section contained far too many things he knew too little about.
Head spinning from unfamiliar jargon, he looked up at Iskall in question.
âF...f-for Gri..ian,â came the harsh rumble from Iskall, startling Mumbo in the process. Both of the men stared at each other for a moment, each sheepish in their own right, before Iskall pulled out a relatively new-looking book and began writing.
[Doc let me take a look at his arm a bit ago and helped me out with the technical stuff. Iâm hoping that we can replicate a pair for Grian. Took much more work comin up with this blueprint than it did for my voicebox plan lol ]
Mumbo went from bemused to ecstatic as he read Iskallâs explanation, feeling surprisingly hopeful for the first time in a long time. The sheer thought of his friends getting back what he took from them made his heart swell with guilty joy.
The technicianâs part of his brain fired off a million different inquiries about how they could get these plans to work, but his heart ached knowing this was a project he wouldnât have much part in if any. He didnât specialize in bionics for one, but even if he felt like dabbling in the expertise for the benefit of his friends, Mumbo didnât want to get too involved out of fear of relapse.
Especially not after today. He just wasnât ready.
âThese plans are incredible, Iskall.â Mumbo whispered in awe, flipping through both sections of the packet thrice over. A part of him yearned to add notes and suggestions of his own along the margins of the already messy prints, but he swallowed down the eagerness and handed the papers back to Iskall with a shaky hand. Far too fast for him to subdue, bubbling apprehension rose into his chest again as a presence beneath his ribcage scolded him for not ripping the notes to shreds when he had the chance and Mumbo turned away from Iskall in shame. He didnât even notice himself staring off into the corner of his room until the scratching of a feather pen against paper got his attention again.
[I was hoping you would say that. Wouldn't be Architech patent-worthy without your approval :) ]
Mumbo gave a half-hearted as smile his dear friend stored the notes away in a light blue shulker box he hadnât seen get brought out. As Iskall packed the box up, a red hot silence burned within the room and Mumbo flushed at the uneasiness of it all, hating the fact that he couldnât enjoy the company of the people he loved anymore. It made him feel like an ass when he was so unresponsive and caught up in self-pity, but at the same time it felt like acting as if nothing ever happened would be a slap in the face to everyone he wronged. He was halfway through a mental reprimand when Iskall huffed through his nose and came to sit beside him at his birch wood table.
A beat or two passed in silence before a steady hand reached out to fix the uneven part in Mumboâs hair, smooth out the collar of his dress shirt, and pat him gently on the side of his face. The warmth of Iskallâs hand damn nearly drove Mumbo to tears. With cloudy eyes, he watched as Iskall tilted his head, expression a melancholy mix of fondness and sorrow.
[Itâs bad today, huh?]
With a sharp intake of breath and clenched teeth, Mumbo glanced away from Iskall. Heâd rather pretend he was fine than admit to the Red Sunâs influence holding strong sway over him today. But before he could come up with something to say, Iskall was already shoving his book back into Mumboâs hands.
[Donât try to lie to me, I can see it in your face. And in the stubble on your chin.]
âIâŚâ Mumbo started, cotton-mouthed and ashamed, closing his eyes to prevent the tears from glossing over his vision.
Sweet scarlet whispers pricked at the back of his head and swirled behind his eyelids, reminding him the Red Sun never sets the Red Sun never sets the Red Sun never sets, and he tensed his jaw to try and drown out the words with a high-pitched strain. The world around him grew warm and tight and dark, and despite his best efforts, the voices seemed to just get louder.
All at once, Mumbo realized that Iskall was pushing at his shoulders and letting out determined, wordless noises as he tried to bring the man from his panic. Mumbo brought down his hands from where he found them pressed firmly against his ears, noticing that his face felt warm and wet. He silently wiped at his cheeks with his sleeve, defeated.
â...Yeah. It is.â
âI-I...Itâss oh-k-kay.â Iskall offered gently, releasing his hold from his friendâs shoulders and sliding them down to his arms as he scanned Mumbo for any more signs of distress. As soon as his hands were free, he reached for his book again.
[Itâs a nice day out today. Letâs go for a walk. Iâll shoot Grian a message to meet us in the shopping district.]
Before Mumbo could begin to read, Iskall plucked the book from his hand and began writing frantically, leaving Mumbo to wipe at the heavy tears that pooled over the edge of his eyelids once again.
[Letâs not tell him about my plans yet. I donât want to get him excited for something that could take months or more to even start on. Promise to keep it a secret for now?]
Mumbo couldnât help but flash him a warm smile. This man has done so much for both him and Grian even in wake of his own obstacles and responsibilities. There was nothing in this world or the next that Mumbo could offer as retribution.
âSure thing. You have my word.â
Iskall huffed a laugh, grabbing and immediately shaking Mumboâs hand with unnecessary earnest.
[Jolly good cheers mate! Letâs get you ready for our stroll, shall we lad? Pip pip!]
With a good-natured roll of his eyes, Mumbo stood from where heâd been sat since early that morning, bones audibly popping from inactivity, and made towards his room to change into a clean white button-up and dress pants, leaving his coat on the bed. It took him a moment to brave the mirror in the corner of his room, but once he could stand to look at his reflection, he made an honest attempt to make himself presentable. After smoothing out the folds and wrinkles in his shirt, Mumbo pulled at his mustache a few times in an attempt to style it, lamenting that he didnât have the time to shave the shadow from his jaw.
There was a soft, gentle hum from Iskall that got Mumboâs attention as he exited his room, and he walked closer to read what his friend was saying.
[Handsome.]
Bashful, Mumbo blushed and shut the book. Compliments always made him somewhat embarrassed before, but it hit him much harder nowadays, especially when he felt bad about not being able to clean up as much as he preferred. Despite his self-consciousness, Mumbo was grateful for Iskallâs encouragement and offered a small smile in thanks.
As he and Iskall locked up his house and began the journey towards the shopping district, Mumbo watched him message Grian and shake with silent laughterâprobably at something stupid Grian responded with, knowing them, but he was too engrossed in thought to catch what was saidâand noticed that for the first time in a while that he couldnât hear the honeyed song of the Red Sun, nor could he feel its pull deep within his bones.
Truly, Iskall and Grian were gifts from the universe he didnât deserve. It was a bloody wonder that they still stood by him after all they went through. Despite everything, his friends still cared for him. Still loved him. There was nothing he could do to repay them for that. And nothing could compare to the outpour of adoration he felt for them in return.
--------------------------------------------
On days like these, with his best friends at his sides, Mumbo felt free.

Any chance of a continuation of the Banana bread FF because I need more like right now? it was so freaking cute omfg pretty please with a cherry on top?!đ
Iâm sorry it took so long, but here it is:
Chloeâs been in her house for a week and has spent every evening texting Beca after she gets home from work. The day sheâd first met Beca, she texted herself from Becaâs phone so that sheâd have her number.
Ever since, Chloeâs been using it liberally. She canât use it during the day because she doesnât want her students picking up bad habits from her. Theyâre at the age of ten, highly influential, and she wants them to know sheâs 100% there during their time together.
Trying to be a good role model can be difficult.
She doesnât text Beca directly after school either. Usually she has a meeting of some kind, either with a parent, a colleague, or a student. Then, instead of bringing her work home with her, she stays at her desk marking or prepping future lesson plans.
When she gets home, though, after sheâs showered, Becaâs phone is open season.
Sometimes she starts by saying hello to her favourite baker. Other times she asks Beca about her day. Most often, though, she just launches into a story about one of her kids from that day.
Chloe: So I gave them a word association test today
Beca: I thought you needed informed consent before you could run psychological experiments on kids?
Chloe: Not for that reason!
Beca: lol
Chloe: Youâre the worst.
Beca: Alright, Iâm sorry. You were saying?
Chloe: Okay so
Beca: Wait how long is this story?
Chloe: BECA!
Beca: What?! We live next door. If itâs a long story you might as well just come over and tell it to me in person.
Chloe: Iâm in the middle of making dinner.
Beca: Cool. I havenât eaten yet. Be right over.
Chloe looks down at the takeout menu in her hand. âCrap.â Someone knocks at the door. Chloe looks at the pile of takeout menus on the counter. âComing!â she shouts, tossing the one she was holding on top and sweeping the lot into a random drawer.
When she opens the door, Beca is on her doorstep with a bottle of wine in each hand. âI didnât know if you preferred red or white,â she shrugged. âSo I brought both.â Chloe steps to the side, blushing a little in embarrassment because Becaâs going to find out really soon that she canât really cook.
Beca walks past her into the house and slips off her shoes. Finally she actually looks at Chloe. Concern hits her eyes immediately. âHey, is something wrong? Oh my God, Iâm sorry, I totally just invited myself over without even asking and, ugh, Iâm sorry Iâm such a dick,â she chastises herself, putting the bottles down on the table Chloeâs placed in the hall and leaning down to put her shoes back on.
Chloeâs too enamoured at how cute and awkward Becaâs being; it takes three seconds too long for her to put a hand on Becaâs arm. âNo!â Chloe denies strongly. âDonât go,â she continues and Beca at least pauses. âYou donât have to leave,â Chloe adds.
âDude, no, I should, I was like super rude-â
âStay please! Iâm just embarrassed,â Chloe admits, shifting her weight on her feet.
Beca looks up, at the moment seemingly convinced not to leave. âWhy?â
Chloeâs cheeks turn red. âI, uh, wasnât technically cookingâŚâ
Beca nods. âI was gonna say, for someone in the middle of dinner prep it does not at all smell of food in here.â
Chloe covers her face with her hands as Beca chuckles softly. âI know! I was going through takeout menus.â
Beca brushes Chloeâs hands off of her face. âSo why not just say that?â
Vaguely, Chloe gestures at Becaâs whole body. Beca just stares back, confused.
âWhat, is there something on my shirt?â Beca asks, as she looks down at herself and starts twisting around to try and find a stain.
Chloe fights the urge to roll her eyes. âNo, you look great, of course you do, itâs just that youâre, like, a super talented baker and I can barely make mac and cheese from a box,â Chloe says, eyes downcast.
Beca nudges her. âRelax, Chlo, the great thing about modernity is that cooking is not a required skill.â A little unsure, Beca pats Chloe on the arm. âHonestly? Without a recipe, I am at a loss with cooking. Baking and cooking are not the same thing, like at all.â She nods at the menu in Chloeâs hands. âI should show you my own collection.â
Smiling shyly, Chloe grabs a couple more menus from beside the fridge and offers them to Beca. âWhat are you in the mood for tonight?â
Sorting through them, Beca adopts a comically unsure expression, breaking a little into a smile when Chloe giggles. After another shuffle through, Beca raises an eyebrow and declares, âDo you trust me?â
Chloe laughs. âI trusted you even before I knew you,â she says, referring to the banana bread that still sometimes stars in her daydreams.
âOkay,â Beca says easily. âNo food allergies?â
Chloe shakes her head.
âNo peeking, Beale,â Beca instructs as she pulls out her phone and then she wanders into Chloeâs living room.
Beca dials up her favourite delivery restaurant in town, and waits for Linda to pick up.
âFortune City Inn, how can I help you?â
âHey Linda,â Beca says, looking back to check Chloeâs location. She moves farther away from her friend.
âBeca! The usual?â Linda asks, real elation entering her voice.
âActually no, Iâm going to branch out a bit. M goy ngau naam wonton mein, suk mi guy tong, yeung jow chow faan, hoyow gai lan, and jeeu pai chow mein.â
âYouâre going to have leftovers!â Linda laughs. âAlright, itâll be there in 35 minutes.â
âOh, can you actually deliver it to the house beside mine?â Beca asks, then rattles off Chloeâs address.
âNo problem,â Linda says. âWill you need the machine?â
âYeah, please.â
âOkay, enjoy your evening!â
âYou, too!â Beca hangs up and goes back into the kitchen. âOkay, food will be here in about half an hour. What should we do until then?â
Chloe grins, âNetflix?â
Beca laughs. âI still canât believe that that was the first thing you set up for your new place, right after your Internet.â
âWhat can I say, TV is important to me!â
Beca smiles indulgently. âWhat are we watching, then?â
Chloe happily claps a little as she goes to grab her laptop from her office and sets it up on the coffee table. âIâll set it up if you get the drinks?â
âSure thing,â Beca agrees. She walks over to Chloeâs random utensil drawer and pulls out the wine opener. She uncorks the bottle of white and grabs two glasses from beside the sink.
When she gets back to the couch, Chloe has her portable speaker set up and the Netflix intro screen up.
âSo you never answered what weâre watchingâŚâ
âYouâll find out! Itâs a comedy though.â
Beca rolls her eyes. âYup, that narrows it down for sure.â
Chloe glares playfully. âWatch it, Mitchell, I could still throw on a rom-com movie instead.â
Hastily, Beca hits the spacebar and sits back against the couch while the intro plays. Chloe smiles triumphantly and settles against Becaâs side.
âIâm assuming you havenât seen any of this so weâre starting at the beginning. The new season comes out tomorrow.â
âGreat, Chlo,â Beca says. âStill havenât got a clue what it is.â
âWait for itâŚâ Chloe warns and after another few scenes,â One Day at a Timeâ appears on the side of the building.
âIsnât this from the fifties or something?â
Chloe shakes her head. âItâs a remake and itâs awesome. Now shush.â And she devotes her attention to the screen in front of them in such a way that Beca has to follow suit.
Beca has to admit, itâs pretty funny. And even though knowing someone as overdramatic as Lydia in real life would suck, she might be Becaâs favourite character.
Halfway through the second episode, Chloeâs doorbell rings, and Beca immediately jumps for the door. Chloe takes the time to pause the show before following Beca out to her hallway.
Becaâs already got her card in the machine. The man at the door waves to Chloe and then he tears off Becaâs receipt.
âDo zeh,â she calls after him and then closes the door. She turns around to see Chloe behind her.
âWhat language is that?â Chloe asks, holding her arms out to help Beca carry the bags of food.
âUh, Cantonese,â Beca says, and then walks right by Chloe to the kitchen.
âWhere did you learn Cantonese?â Chloe asks, sounding both surprised and impressed.
âOh, my mom and I used to go there a lot. The owner, Linda, taught us how to say some of the things we like in Canto, so now we can always impress, or maybe entertain is the better word, the ladies at different Chinese restaurants,â Beca answers as she pulls containers out of the bags and sets them on Chloeâs counter.
âCan I hear some?â Chloe asks as she pulls plates from a cupboard and digs around for napkins.
Beca laughs, âMaybe some other time, Beale, I have such a white person accent itâs not even funny.â She tosses a package of chopsticks on each plate.
âStill, itâs cool that you try,â Chloe says. She looks at Beca for a moment. Becaâs not sure what crosses Chloeâs face before sheâs turning away to grab some serving utensils.
âThanks.â Becaâs not sure why she blushes either.
âIt smells delicious, but what am I eating?â Chloe asks, inspecting the various dishes. âI mean, clearly this is some sort of fried rice, this is a soup with corn? And this is wonton soup with noodles and some kind of meat, but anything more specific than that, Iâm lost.â
âOh right,â Beca says, and then steps closer to Chloe to differentiate the dishes with her pointer finger. âSo I got us some house special fried rice, beef brisket and wonton noodle soup, creamy chicken and corn egg drop soup, and house special chow mein. Oh, and some oyster sauce gai lan.â
âCool, let me grab a couple of bowls for the soup and some spoons, and then we can either migrate our Netflix set-up to the kitchen table or we can eat on the couch.â
âI donât want to accidentally ruin your couch with sauce or soup or something, so we should probably move to the table,â Beca said, going over to move the computer onto the table.
âIf you grab the shoebox from beside the couch, we can prop the laptop up for better ergonomics,â Chloe suggests as she closes a cupboard and places bowls beside the plates on the counter. She slips a spoon onto each plate too.
Beca finds the shoebox and does as sheâs told and then joins Chloe back at the food. She serves them both some of each soup while Chloe fills her plate with little piles of everything else. Beca takes their bowls of soups over to the table before going back to load up her own plate.
After sitting down, Chloe breaks her chopsticks and then hits play just as Beca slides into the chair beside her. Sheâs brought a couple of little plastic containers with her, and opens them.
âSo by all means try the soup without this stuff,â Beca says as the One Day at a Time intro plays through. âBut if you want a little extra flavour, Linda sent some white pepper and soy sauce.â And then Beca proceeds to dump a small mound of white pepper into her soup, circling it with a couple rings of soy sauce.
Chloe nods and tries the soup. Itâs good, but itâs also kind of basic, so she follows Becaâs lead and adds the flavouring agents, albeit in smaller doses than Beca did. Then she heaps some noodles, rice, and gai lan onto her plate.
âWant some of the wonton soup?â Beca asks as Elena and Alex bicker on screen.
âOh, sure, thanks,â Chloe says, throwing a brief smile in Becaâs direction.
They watch two episodes, both of them managing to put away impressive mounds of food. Beca helps wrap up some leftover noodles and rice and tucks them into the back corner of Chloeâs fridge. Meanwhile, Chloe refills their wine glasses, draining the last of the bottle into Becaâs glass and opening a new one for her own.
âBack to the couch?â Chloe asks, calling through to the kitchen. Becaâs head pops out of the doorway.
âSounds great, Iâm just wrapping things up,â Beca says, making a face at her unexpected pun. Chloe laughs at her and then goes about moving their Netflix setup back to the couch.
They settle in with their wine and watch another three episodes, Chloe leaning against Becaâs side as Elena and Alex share a moment followed by a hug.
Completely ignoring the show still going on, Chloe moves her face closer to Becaâs. âHey, are you okay?â
Becaâs eyes make a watery glance toward Chloe. âYou said this was a comedy, Beale.â Her voice sounds a little choked up. The episode fades to the credits and Chloe quickly reaches over to prevent it from going to the next. When she looks back, Beca is gazing at her softly, the watery quality to her eyes seemingly dissipating. Chloe leans in closer to Beca, and she swears Beca leans in closer too.
At the last second, Beca pulls back slightly. âI think Iâve embarrassed myself enough for the evening and should probably head home.
And just like that, reality comes rushing back to Chloe. She smiles, a little tightly, âNot embarrassed, Becs, but yeah, I can see you out.â She gets up off the couch and Beca follows, taking a moment to take her empty wine glass to the kitchen before meeting Chloe at the door.
âNext time, you gotta prepare me for the feels, okay?â Beca says, sliding on her shoes.
âYou should probably just always be ready for the feels in that show,â Chloe advises.
They hesitate in the doorway once Becaâs shoes are on and thereâs nothing left to chat about. Before Chloe can bring up the elephant in the room, Beca squeaks out, âOkay, well, see you around, Chlo,â and opens the door before disappearing to her own house.
She closes the door, locks it, and goes back to throw herself upon the couch, already replaying the evening and asking where she went wrong reading the signals.

EVERYTHING FOR A WEEKEND IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
NOLA (New Orleans Louisiana) is such a quirky, fun, beautiful place filled with friendly people and AHHHHmazing food. Walking around the French Quarter and popping in and out of places you will find tons of food and drinks and loads of fun! If you are in need of some local references for food, drinks, or entertainment, then you have come to the right place! Here is everything you need to know to visit NOLA and have the time of your life!
FOODS YOU SHOULD TOTALY TRY IN NOLA:
Boiled Crawfish - Technically, you can find crawfish year round. But, many local will tell you, only eat boiled crawfish during crawfish season! The rest of the year it is either frozen local crawfish or it is sourced from elsewhere.
Beignets - Cafe Du Monde - This is a must! They have been serving Beignets since the Civil War! The line is often long so if you need a back up spot, Cafe Beignet is a great option as well.
Pecan Pralines -Â Try pralines or fudge at any of the little shops. Super sweet, but yummy. Lorettaâs in the French Market is really good.
King Cake - If you find it, eat it! King Cake is seasonal and typically found during Mardi Gras and it is SO yummy! It is basically a mix between a donut and cake stuffed with cream. You will love it!
Hot Sauce - Spice is a HUGE thing in Louisiana! Every place in the Quarter has dozens of them to try. Some are so hot you have to sign a waiver eating!
Chicory - OK. This is not my thing, but it is very much a NOLA thing. Chicory in Coffee is huge. Personally it isnât for me, but by all means try it.
Po-Boys - It is a sandwich stuffed with various meats usually fried shrimp or seafood. In the Quarter you can go to Cafe Masperos or Johnnyâs Po-Boys or Erin Rose, but the best one in the city and where you will find me every day is Parkview Bakery! It is worth the uber ride, and it is such a great, local, backyard vibe.Â
Muffalettas - Central Grocery Co. is a super famous spot for this. I donât eat meat so I have never had it, but everyone raves about it!
Oysters - Full disclosure, I have never eaten or even tried an oyster, but I have heard that Antoineâs Restaurant or Felixâs is the way to go for that.
Hurricane Alcoholic Drink - Pat Obrienâs is famous for this, but they have them everywhere.Â
Hand Grenades - These are a huge thing on Bourbon. Be warned, the sugar masks the liquor and you will be beyond drunk afterward.
Absinthe - Pirateâs Alley is the place for it. 55% alcohol makes it a doozy. Their version is the legal limit.
SnowBalls - I lived for these as a kid, and Hansens is the place in the city to get it.
World Famous Fried Chicken - Willie Maes has been on every food network show and is SUPER famous. It is supposed to be life changing chicken. Now they have created a bit of a chain, but make sure to visit the original location.
Gumbo, Jambalaya, and ĂtouffĂŠe - These will be served lots of places and worth trying. Best spots: Jambayala - Coopâs Place / Gumbo - Stanley's
BEST COFFEE AND BREAKFAST NEW ORLEANS:
My favorite breakfast spot in the whole city is in the Lower Garden District at Hivolt Coffee. It is the best coffee in the city including pour overs and the pastries and breakfast are all great!
If you are in the Warehouse District there is a Stumptown Coffee in the Ace Hotel which is a great option as well!
Brennans is super famous for breakfast. I have never been. But, worth pointing out. Make sure to get a reservation.
When in town, I usually eat at Sasuma Cafe. Cheap, simple, and healthy, something hard to find in Louisiana some times ;)
Another favorite of mine is Surreyâs. To be fair, I have never tried anything other than their pancakes, but I donât need to! Their pancakes are the best!
Elizabethâs in Bywater is a super traditional southern breakfast with smothered everything and great biscuits. It is really good and a great way to try southern food!
Ruby Slipper is also a fun spot with cajun/creole breakfast influences. It is probably the best breakfast spot to please everyone and still get to try some unique things.
BEST BARS IN THE FRENCH QUARTER:
Pat OâBriens dueling pianos is a must! It usually has a line, but once you get in it is such a blast. They basically pack people into a room with two dueling pianos that play any song request and everyone in the room sings as loud as possible to classics and shares drinks. It can really be a blast!
Lafitteâs Blacksmith Shop is the oldest structure in the city to have a bar so it is a great spot to grab a drink.
Carousel Bar - This bar is inside of a hotel. There is a carousel inside it that moves and is itâs claim to fame. It doesnât sprinkle my donuts, but people seem to love it!
Pirateâs Alley - if you dare try the absinthe. This is a famous spot and the only place in the city to sell legal absinthe. Fair warning the alcohol content level is HIGH.
Saints and Sinners - Nothing crazy about this other than Channing Tatum owns it so the girls tend to love it. And, for that reason, it is worth pointing out.
Ace Hotelâs rooftop is a really beautiful space! One of my favorite spots. My girlfriend from Los Angels and I always laugh going there cause its definitely like the other Ace Hotels in terms of lack of friendliness and run by New Yorkers. But, still the rooftop bar is super nice!
Frenchmen Street - SUPER famous for Jazz music. Places like the Spotted Cat are where all the greats played back in the day. It is the locals version of Bourbon Street, or at least it used to be. Typically, you can find lots of live music and fun spots.
Tchoup Yard is a super fun spot and great for a day hang out. There are loads of backyard games and outdoor vibes and usually lots of locals just playing corn hole and drinking beers. It is also located right where lots of brewers have popped up which is new to the city, so it is a great day drinking spot.
Musical Legends Park is such a cute romantic spot (maybe the only one) on Bourbon. I think it is only Friday nights, but a live jazz band plays outside and for a moment you feel like you are in a European city. Swoon.
Bourbon Street is filled with dozens and dozens of bars and intoxicated people. It is not where locals tend to hang out, but if you are looking to experience this side of NOLA and have a blast doing it, just pop in and out of all the bars along the street. No destination is needed here.
GOOD EATS NEW ORLEANS:
Cochon Butcher and Cochon Restaurant are both really good spots in the warehouse district with great vibes and food with a local twist. (Cochon means âpigâ so that says a lot about what is on the menu).
Peche is a nice restaurant as well. Peche means âfishâ so there is a lot of seafood dishes here. Nice vibes. Good food.
Pizza Domenica - Great pizzas and pastas and garlic bread knots, and a nice break from fried food.
Josephine Estelle in the Ace Hotel is a great little spot. More Los Angeles type foods like anything with a vegetable (lol) than the other places listed. Plus, you can pop up to the rooftop bar afterward.
NOLA in the French Quarter is really good. Typical cajun and creole dishes that are really well done. More pricey.
Emerilâs is super famous and fancy pants. I have never been. Heard great things! More pricey.
Commanderâs Palace is SUPER famous and supposedly really amazing. Never been. Hard to get a resi. Heard amazing things! Most pricey.
St. Roch is a great stop and my personal favorite place to get biscuits. There are several vendors in this space like a small market and it is a great way to try different foods in the city!
BEST TOURIST STOPS NEW OREANS:
Napoleonâs House (yep, he had a house there that is now a restaurant) The food is not life changing, but it is cool to see. And, full disclosure, Napoleon died before getting to visit this house, so he never lived here, but it was built for him.
There are lots of huge plantation style homes in the Garden District one of which is where Mark Twain used to throw parties. These old southern homes are to die for.
Near there is St. Charles Ave. where 300-400 year old oak trees line the street. You gotta take a trolley ride down this street and see it. It is beautiful.
Jackson Square in front of the St. Louis Cathedral which is the most popular photo spot and dates back hundreds of years.
Cemeteries - Due to being below sea level, graves are all above ground in NOLA. And, many of them date back centuries and are well worth a visit. You can even visit Marie Laveaus (the famous Voodoo Queenâs) tomb. Across from Commanderâs Palace is Lafayette Cemetery which is free to visit. My recommendation for a more historical tour would be to visit St. Louis Cemetery where notables have been buried. You have to do a tour, but itâs great. OH, and you can see the period tomb Nicholas Cage had built for when he dies. Kinda wild.
Swamp Tours - This isnât necessarily âhistoricâ perse other than people having been boating here for centuries and the cypress trees are hundreds of years old. The tours are a whole lot of fun and you get to see alligators out in the wild! I highly recommend doing one to see a completely different type of landscape and life on the bayou.
Museums - There are lots of great museums all within walking distance of each other. So, if you are looking for a break from Bourbon street this is your spot. The WW II museum is one of the best tin the country and a great way to spend the afternoon. There are also wonderful art museums like the Ogden and the Contemporary.
WHERE TO SHOP NEW ORLEANS:
The French Market in the French Quarter is the best place to shop for souvenirs and fun little things. Most of the goods are on the cheaper side so it is fun to walk about. As a kid, this was always my favorite spot!
If vintage clothing is your thing, then Royale Street is a great place for all things vintage. There are several vintage boutiques specializing in unique period clothing.
There are loads of Local shops selling New Orleans designers like Krewe Sunglasses which are great and well worth the stop in.
Magazine Street is my favorite street in the city and it is filled with loads of shops, antiques, and great eateries. It is a great way to spend an afternoon outside of bourbon. Just take the trolley car from the French Quarter.
WHAT TO PACK FOR A WEEKEND IN NEW ORLEANS:
Casual is a way of life there. While a few trendy spots have come to town and people dress more trendy/urban in those spots, for the most part, it is casual. The city is so laid-back and truly no one will care what you are wearing.
Comfy Shoes - The streets and sidewalks are uneven and often cobblestone. Tourism causes a lot of trash. And, rain doesnât help. So, I recommend comfy shoes like tennis shoes that you are ok to get scuffed up and wet and maybe even just toss after the trip.
Sunscreen - The heat is no joke here!
Hat for sun - A hat or even an umbrella to protect against the sun is a must in the summer and maybe even year round!
Sunglasses - As mentioned above, sun protection is a must!
Backpack - I am a backpacker type of tourist because with all the heat and alcohol you will want water and a place to store your raincoat and sunscreen, etc. Plus, like in any tourist spot, keeping your things safe and protected is the way to go!
Toilet Paper/Kleenex packets - The French Quarter is old and packed with people. The bathrooms arenât guaranteed to have TP in them so make sure to bring some! Oh and a few baby wipes wouldnât hurt either!
Rain Coat/Jacket - If it rains, umbrellas are quite difficult on the narrow sidewalks, so a rain coat is the way to go.Â
Bug Spray - When it is too cold there arenât mosquitoes, but GURL mosquitoes are a very real thang there, especially if you are going on a swap tour in the summer!
Cash - A lot of the city will accept credit card, but there are still quite a few places that are cash only. Quite literally some spots have been cash only for centuries. So, I recommend keeping some handy.Â
STAY SAFE AND LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!
While the city is without a doubt one of my favorite places, it does have a darker side not all that different than parts of Los Angeles. So, I recommend being vigilant. As a tourist, you can be a target, so while I have never had anything happen, it is a high possibility. Put simply, I would just do your best to keep your wits about you and not flash money. Stay safe!

Sweet Music Playing in the Dark: Ch.2- Lip and Cheek (Craquaria)- Dill
A/N: Hi guys! Hereâs the second chapter for sweet music. This is my first smut attempt, so I hope itâs okay lol. Iâm working on a few things at the moment that will slowly trickle out now that Iâm done with school. You can find me on AO3 @drdill. Thanks for reading!
Summary: Soon Max will be moving to New York, and Gio interrogates Kevin to see if they could last.
âCome on, itâs totally Bill.â
Max stuffs another piece of sushi in his mouth, watching Mamma Mia! intensely on the television, knees to his chest on my couch.
âI donât disagree, Iâm just saying this all couldâve been avoided with a paternity test.â
âDonât try to get technical with this masterpiece.â
âFair enough,â I giggle. âI wouldnât be mad if Sam proposed to me, though.â
âWell, obviously. He could get it any day of the week.â I choke on my water.
Earlier in the day, he knocked on my door, my sandals between his fingers and a smirk on his lips. Probably thinking my life is a mess, he asked me about my swollen knee and it turned into an hour of us drinking coffee at my kitchen table. Wanting to repay him for his hospitality the night prior, I suggested sushi and a cheesy film in sweats. From my obnoxiously loud ABBA jam-session in the morning that left âDancing Queenâ in his head for the rest of the day, he chose appropriately.
The final scene ends to the Netflix home screen and I start picking-up empty soy sauce packets.
âSorry for getting wasabi on your couch,â Max says, standing up to help clean.
âDonât worry about it. Thereâs been worse things on it,â I tell him with a wink, immediately ready to punch myself in the face. Why the fuck do I open my mouth? He just laughs and shakes his head.
âIâm not even gonna ask.â
We head back to the couch, sitting opposite, staring anywhere but directly at each other. Heâs stretched out towards me while I sit cross-legged and hands in my lap. Seconds pass and weâre waiting for the other to initiate some form of conversation, resorting to him making a fun beat with his hands on the side of the couch and this thigh, and me bobbing my head and shimmying my shoulders. A laugh escapes me.
âWhatâs on your mind?â he asks me.
âI donât know,â I say, fully honest. âMost weekends where I do nothing arenât this fun.â
It feels like a first date- painfully hesitant. For the twenty-seven hours Iâve known him, heâs surely made an impact. Maybe Iâm just desperate for the attention heâs giving, and maybe the feeling is mutual, but Iâd rather be entangled in blind affection than ignorant to it.
âIâll be honest, I wasnât expecting to make a friend during my quick stay,â he tells me, âbut Iâm so glad you fell on that fire escape.â He chuckles when I roll my eyes and observe the bandages wrapped around my bruised knee.
âAs embarrassing as that was, I guess the garlic bread was worth it,â I smile. He shifts positions and crosses his legs like me, moving close enough for our knees to touch.
âSince weâre sharing thoughts,â he says, âsomethingâs been eating at me.â
âAnd what is that?â He sighs. âLast night, when you said goodbye, we shared a quick hug and you were gone.â
My lips are between my teeth, unsure which direction this could turn.
âWhen just hours before, you wanted to kiss me like it was nothing.â
Relief quenches me like a cool glass of water.
âWell,â I reply, leaning a bit closer, âI can tell you that it wasnât nothing.â
âYou donât say?â His draws circles on my kneecap through my black joggers. I nod in response when he greets my eyes, leering.
Like muscle memory, we find ourselves in the same position as last night. This time, the puzzle pieces fit together, completing what couldâve been my evening departure. His lips are even softer than they look, sweet and tangy like the lemonade he sipped during the movie. I smell his aftershave on my next inhale before deepening our kiss, bunching his shirt in my hands and pushing him onto his back. Propped on my elbows, I drag my tongue over his bottom lip and reconnect to his mouth, full of paradise. He leisurely travels down my spine to my lower back. For the time being, itâs a musical rapture.
Then thereâs an abrupt knock at my door.
It was maybe fifteen seconds. Fifteen seconds. Iâm fuming, nostrils flared and eyes slowly shutting.
âThe universe really doesnât want this, huh?â he says with a sympathetic grin. I peck his lips before standing and unlocking the door.
Kevin greets me with a huge smile- of all the people to ruin our moment.
âHi, honey.â
âSomeoneâs back early,â I say, moderately bothered.
âI really didnât want to bother you, but I mustâve left my key at my sisterâs and Max wasnât answering his phone. Could I use your spare?â
âHi, Kevin.â Max pokes his head from the couch.
âMaxie!! Yâall already met!?â Heâs elated at the sight of his friend, which quickly turns to sheer panic. âOh shit. Did I jus-â
âNo, itâs fine. We were just hanging out. Being neighborly and all,â I say before Max can speak, unenthusiastic jazz hands to follow. Maxâs face drops and nods.
âYeah, I can let you back in. Itâs pretty late anyway,â Max tells Kevin, hopping off the couch and standing next to me.
âThanks for the sushi, Gio.â He goes for an awkward hug, an even worse ending than last night.
âAnytime.â
Kevin watches us stiffly before giving me a hug.
âYou up for brunch tomorrow?â he asks me. I hide my irritation with a cheeky smile.
âDuh! Max will you still be around?â I mustâve caught him off-guard.
âHm? Oh, yeah! Yeah I can come.â Heâs flustered.
âWonderful. See you guys tomorrow?â
âIâll knock when weâre ready!â Kevin replies. He leads the way out of my apartment with Max.
âBye-bye.â I shut the door and reflect. Of all the people to ruin our moment. I love Kevin. Typically he annoys me with bombarding my phone with texts, but this time, nothing- the one time I donât get minute-by-minute updates on his train ride home. I throw myself on the empty bed, frustrated and lonely.
â-
*knock knock knock*
I grab my wallet and head for the door in white converse, rolled black shorts, and matching black tank top. In the hallway, Kevinâs alone wearing a coral v-neck with khaki shorts and flip flops.
âWhereâs Max?â I ask.
âBathroom. He should be out in a sec.â He looks down at my legs.
âWhat happened to your knee?â
âOh, I just fell,â I say, shrugging my shoulders.
With those words, Max opens the door in a navy button-up and flip flops, still drying his hands on his shorts. His hair for the past couple of days was fluffy and unkempt, curling on his forehead. Today, itâs tamed with some wax, swooped to the side, and absolutely delightful.
The restaurant is a few blocks from our building. We get a table, a few drinks, and discuss Kevinâs quick return.
âSo, whyâd you come back so early?â I ask, still annoyed with prior events. Max, sitting next to Kevin, gives me a smug look that he canât see.
âI overestimated how much time I can handle them,â he cackles. âAlso, my momma kept showing me photos of her church friendsâ single daughters. The mothafuckinâ nerve!â I laugh and swirl my drink.
My favorite part of these brunch dates is when Kevinâs adorable Caribbean mother calls him while he tells me about his latest hookup (in too much detail), trying to play matchmaker after mass. He always exaggerates his workload to explain how he, the gayest person on this planet, doesnât have time for a girlfriend.
âI still have no idea how she hasnât figured it out yet,â I tell him.
âOne of these days, Iâll probably get fed up and tell her. Weâre getting close.â
âYou shouldâve just asked how their sons are doing,â Max says. Kevin howls as he takes a satisfying sip of his drink.
Our food comes a bit later and we continue catching up, Kevin and Max telling old stories from college in-between bites as I listen. The more they speak, the more I realize they are the exact same person in different bodies. Itâs almost scary; from karaoke nights at a cheap dive bar near campus, to reenacting musicals in their apartment with friends, Iâm surprised Kevinâs barely ever mentioned him to me.
Unintentionally, I keep staring at Max. No particular reason, just watching him: the way he eats his fries, talks with his hands, covers his mouth after laughing too hard. I become so fixated that whatever Kevin is babbling about turns inaudible- I just keep looking at the slight stubble poking through his chin that he scratches every so often, the scar on his right elbow when he props it on the table, even how he nods along to every word Kevin says. Heâs a completely average guy, but Iâm mesmerized by every small detail.
âWould you like some more water?â Iâm snapped out of the trance by our waitress holding a metal pitcher in front of me.
âOh, um, yes please.â She refills my glass and walks off.
âIâll be back. Iâm going to the bathroom.â Max stands up and goes away from the table. I catch myself staring again as he walks away until he turns a corner and is out of sight. Then, Iâm greeted with a fresh pair of eyes from Kevin. With the coy glare, I think heâs connected the dots.
âWhat?â
âI know that look, G,â he replies.
âOh, shut up.â
âSince when were tiny white guys your type?â
âSince Friday night.â Apparently, Iâm ready to spill.
âI was wondering when you guys met. Yâall were pretty close last night.â
âWe met completely on accident. I tripped on the fire escape steps and he helped clean the scrape, then asked me to stay for dinner.â
âI thought you âjust fell.ââ Heâs using air quotes, taunting me from my previous answer.
âI didnât lie.â
âYâall were being more than neighborly last night, werenât you?â
âWouldnât you like to know?â
âI totally cock-blocked you, didnât I?â
Iâm silent and avoiding eye contact, causing him to go wide-eyed.
âOh my GOD.â He slaps the table with every word, way too excited and causing patrons to stare. âI knew it!â
âShh!â Iâm attempting to contain his emotions, pinning his arms down on the table. When he finally cooperates, I speak softly.
âWe almost kissed Friday night, and I redeemed myself yesterday until you just had to ruin it, bitch!â
âWell if I wouldâve known my friends were fucking I wouldnât have knocked!â
âWe didnât think youâd be home until Monday!â
âTrue,â he cackles. âI canât believe you two were ready to hook up that quick. Max typically isnât into hookups.â
âI canât believe you barely talked about him with me!â
âI didnât think youâd be interested!â
âWell, I wasnât until he started acting all hospitable. Heâs so nice.â
âYouâre telling me! If he wasnât a top thatâs half of my size I wouldâve married him by now.â The last sentence almost has my jaw in my lap.
âThat man is a top?â
âYou are such a whore.â
âDonât change the subject.â
âI only speak facts, babe,â he winks. âBut you didnât hear it from me.â A sip of his mimosa and Max appears from the corner again, sitting down and returning to his meal.
âWhatâd I miss?â he asks. I shake my head.
âNothing much.â
ââ
Evening rolls around and I run upstairs to check on my laundry. When I throw the load in the dryer and come back down, Max is standing in the hallway with his bags, placing his ticket in his jacket pocket.
âLeaving so soon?â I ask with a smile.
âVery late, actually. My flight leaves in two hours and I havenât even called an Uber.â
âOh, shit. I shouldnât keep you then.â I reach in for a hug and he wraps his arms around me softly.
âBe safe heading back.â
âI will,â he tells me. âSee you in a few weeks.â
With that, he gives me a cheeky grin and walks quickly down the hallway to the elevators where this mess started. I go back inside, a deep sigh following. What am I doing?
My conversation with Kevin this morning has stuck with me all day. I need more answers. Stepping onto the fire escape with a blunt, I tap on his window until the curtains draw back and he opens it.
âYou rang?â
âIâve got some questions.â He laughs and shakes his head.
âMe too. But keep it quick. Grandpa is getting tired.â
We sit down, feet dangling from the platform when I light the joint and taste itâs sourness. I pass it to Kevin.
âBefore I start, can you promise to be as honest as possible?â
âYes, Judge Judy.â
âOkay, good. You said he normally doesnât do hookups, right?â
âNope. He hasnât been with someone since sophomore year.â Thatâs weird.
âSeriously?â
âWell, kind of. He had an on-and-off thing with this asshole named Jake until graduation that fucked with his psyche a lot. Heâd leave Max every couple of months and come running back like nothing happened. I wanted to kill him, then Max for falling for his bullshit.â Kevinâs getting re-heated just by talking about it, taking multiple hits before passing the blunt back to me. âHe cares so much, probably too much.â I nod along.
âAnyways,â he says, âHow much have you seen each other while Iâve been gone?â
âProbably like ten hours total.â
âIn two days?â
âYeah?â
âWow. What kind of social butterfly did Max turn into since I left the west coast?â
âHe keeps to himself a lot?â
âAll of the time. Thatâs why I was so shocked when you guys were hanging out together, let alone doing whatever that was when I knocked.â
âCalm down, we didnât get anywhere when you interrupted,â I giggle.
He sighs. âI donât know what you did to him, but he seems really interested in you. I asked him about the weekend after brunch, and he was floored about goddamn sushi and Mamma Mia!.â
âDid you consider my incredible charm and wit?â I smirk and nudge his shoulder, causing him to sway and laugh.
âIâm sure thatâs what it was. Listen, as much fun as this is, Iâm falling asleep out here.â âFine. One last question.â âWhat is it?â ââŚcan I have his number?â I ask bashfully.
âYou mean to tell me that yâall were getting hot and heavy and didnât even bother to get that on night one?!â
âIt wasnât the first thought in my mind when I climbed on top of him, bitch!â He rolls his eyes with a smile, takes out his phone, and sends me his contact information.
â-
I didnât text him. The first man to give me attention for more than three hours to hook up, and Iâm blowing it to smithereens because Iâm too nervous to make the first move.
A few weeks have passed since he left for Seattle again. Heâs probably moving in right now as I answer emails and procrastinate by looking at old looks from this yearâs Met Gala. A camp aesthetic? My fucking dream. A message appears on my Mac from Kevin.
Do I have to do everything for this relationship to blossom?
Iâm confused, until my phone starts buzzing. I reach into my pocket and see that itâs Max. Oops.
âHello?â
âGio?â
âHey, Max.â
âHi. Uh, Kevin gave me your number.â I chuckle.
âI figured. Howâve you been?â âIâm so sore. Kevin and I have been moving boxes and furniture all day.â âWhy didnât Kevin let me know sooner? I wouldâve helped out,â I tell him as if I couldnât text him for a month.
âWell, thatâs actually why I called you. Kevin just left and I still have a lot of unpacking to do. Are you busy?â
Surprisingly, I actually do have plans. Some coworkers invited me out to drinks tonight because I was in the room as they discussed plans, but itâs not the first time Iâve bailed on them. They definitely wonât miss me.
âNot at all! Send me the address and Iâll be there soon.â
âYouâre a lifesaver! Iâll text it to you now.â
âAlright, Iâll see you soon.â
He sends me the address and I get dressed to bare the Brooklyn heat. Before leaving, I text Kevin back:
Iâm pulling my weight. Donât worry ;)
â-
âHow was the drive?â Iâm helping him load plates and glass cups into his cabinets while he stands on a chair.
âToo fucking long,â he says, âIt took me five days to get here, but I stayed with my friend Brian when I got to Milwaukee, then Tony in Chicago. Every other place was just some crappy motel and a prayer that I wouldnât get bed bugs.â I snicker at the last comment.
âAt least you get to sleep in your own bed tonight.â âYeah, finally.â
We finish putting away every bowl, spoon, and rubber spatula he brought and break down the boxes for the trash. His living room is barren besides a bunch of bubble wrap and tape lining the lightwood floor and an empty bookcase with hundreds of novels on the floor next to it. It smells like an old bookstore- the sunset bleeds through and highlights every dust particle floating around the room. Max stands by the small island in the kitchen, hands on his hips. Heâs glowing, arms and face golden before the sun falls over a building and everything turns gray. Clearly exhausted, he gives me a smile and a look that begs us to return to the mess tomorrow.
âWelcome to New York.â I mirror his smile and pull him into a hug. He sways us back and forth in absolute fervor, dancing in my arms.
âWe need to celebrate. Grab the wine in the fridge.â
As I get the bottle, which is the only thing in his fridge, he greets me with two coffee mugs- the Seattle skyline painted across both.
âThe wine glasses mustâve been in a different box,â he says, a giant grin plastered on his face. âMy mom made these.â
âClassy,â I smirk.
He follows behind with the bottle opener as I sit against the white wall, legs crossed and scrolling through his laptopâs music library. After uncorking, he pours almost full cups for the both of us, and slides down the wall next to me, moonlight from the window striking his leg as he stretches. To go with some acoustics, I jokingly search-up a Yule log video for mood lighting. He laughs and rolls his eyes watching the crackling embers on his computer screen.
âDumb ass,â he whispers under his breath before raising his mug toward me. I do the same.
âTo crushed dreams and expensive rent!â
âL'chaim!â I reply. We clash our drinks together and sip occasionally. Iâm relieved he bought sweet wine this time, watching dusk swallow the sky.
Through fifteen minutes, radio silence. His shirt reflects a light orange from the fake flames, darkness encapsulating the living room. My head rests on the wall, eyes shut and feeling Max bobbing to the music every once in a while, silently pouring more wine into our mugs. No moments on my own fire escape have felt so peaceful, especially when the next song plays:
If you were falling,
Then I would catch you.
You need a light,
Iâd find a match.
Max starts quietly humming the chorus, swaying back and forth with his eyes closed. I silently laugh when our arms brush against one another.
âCause I love the way you say good morning,
And you take me the way I am.
Eventually, his head softly lands on my shoulder as it did so perfectly weeks before. I hide the smile forming on my lips, slowly inching my fingers. Reaching his hand on the floor, they playfully dance on his knuckles before intertwining, giving a gentle squeeze.
I feel his prickly cheek glide across my skin until his lips connect, placing delicate kisses from my shoulder to collar bone. The sensation causes the hairs on my arm to stand, a deep sigh escaping. He continues sprinkling soft pecks along the area, using a finger to move the strap of my tank top and grazing my slicked, bare chest. My hand detaches from his and relocates to the side of his jaw, thumb tracing as he squeezes my thigh. I lean my head back in satisfaction, hungry for any contact, and he wastes no time moving off the wall and attacking my neck with more aggression. The suction tingles as his tongue soothes the spaces he bruises, his hand traveling up my thigh, nearly at my crotch. I can smell the wine in his breath.
âM-MaxâŚâ Iâm barely making words. He raises a single finger and lightly drags my lips, silencing me. His control may be rousing, but Iâm tired of waiting.
Growing impatient, I reach under his thigh and pull him towards me. His leg swings across and straddles my lap- I immediately feel his growing harness as he grips my cheeks. Thousands of fireworks go off in my head as I finally taste his lips on mine. Itâs sour and velvety, our noses smash together upon impact, tongues sloppily discovering rhythm. Our music has been drowned by deep exhales and the fabric of our shorts at the slightest friction. I take his bottom lip between my teeth, eliciting a moan when our mouths reconnect. My arms pull him closer to make sure this isnât some painful dream, teeth clashing and steadily rolling my hips. I reach under his shirt, outlining every back muscle during the passionate exchange. Without missing a beat, he starts lifting the white fabric, revealing his lightly-toned torso and prominent v-line. He smirks as my eyes grow wide, unsure of what I was expecting, and finds my lips again before tossing it near some boxes. I shut the laptop and wrap my arms around him once more.
After several minutes, we relax and catch our breath, still firmly attached with his arms around my neck and mine on his waist. He pulls me close, fingers lost in my hair with my head at his chest. I kiss his sternum as he controls his breathing.
âTook us long enough,â he smirks. I smile and place another kiss on his salty skin.
Looking up from his embrace, his face is shining, beads of sweat forming at his hairline with his mouth agape, forming a light smile. Standing slowly, he extends his hand, head motioning to the bedroom. I graciously accept as he helps me up and leads to the door- a quick admiration for his shoulder muscles and notice of a weird tattoo Iâll ask about later. We have more important plans.
The door shuts behind us and I can only see silhouettes, nightfall and car headlights pouring through the two windows near his bed. Barely in the room, I ditch my tank top on the floor and grab his waist from behind. His neck cranes back as I bruise the porcelain skin, fingers tracing up and down my arm. I feel his chin on my cheek and I lift my head, tenderly greeted by his lips. My hands drop to his hips, fingertips progressing to his stark erection as I stroke itâs length. Eagerly, he takes my wrist and moves it to his waistband, to which I duck underneath and grab his cock, thumbing the head and spreading the precum before pleasuring him.
âOh my God,â he severs from my lips, groaning and grasping my neck hairs hard as I revert focus to his shoulder.
âIâve been dreaming about you,â I whisper, my hand moves up and down excruciatingly slow, teasing something thatâs been built-up for a month.
âTh-that makes two of us.â He stutters, breathing deeply as I continue to stroke his shaft.
âShow me,â I simper and bite his earlobe, my free hand rubbing his chest. With those words, his hands reach behind to grab my shorts at the waist and yank them to my thighs. He stops my action by turning around to face me, pulling the minimal clothing off of my body, exposing my erection. Kneeling before me, he places a chaste kiss on my inner thigh, dangerously close, before pushing me toward the bed.
My legs hit the sides of the mattress and cause me to sit close to the edge. Max travels down from my collar bones to my navel, lips and tongue blessing my torso as my fingers comb his hair when he falls back to his knees. He licks from base to head, swirling his tongue before taking me in his mouth. Iâm brought to my elbows in luxury, relishing in his skill. His hand works in tandem on my shaft while the other grips my thigh.
Holy shit.
It doesnât take long before Iâm encapsulated- euphoric moans escape, head thrown back when he takes the entire length to the back of his throat and gags. My body starts to twitch, knowing Iâm getting close. Sitting up, I place my hand at his cheek, slowing his pace to a halt, chocolate eyes dark with passion, skin waxen and pale blue in the moonlight, almost angelic.
I meet him halfway with my lips, salty and wet, finally pulling his shorts and underwear down. He steps out of this clothes and I scoot farther onto the bed when he climbs over me again and sloppily kisses my mouth. We roll around the pale cotton sheets, savoring the embrace and caressing each otherâs bodies. Laying on our sides, his hand travels down my back and hastily grabs my ass, slapping it when he makes contact. My breath hitches- it burns in the best way possible. His stomach is warm against mine, legs intertwined with sensual murmurs filling the air.
âFuck me,â I mumble against his lips. âPlease.â Our kissing stops and he meets my eyes.
âAre you sure?â
I nod, giving him a quick peck, a grin forming on his lips.
He quickly slides off the bed while I move closer to the pillows. Rummaging through a bag close to the bathroom, he pulls out a condom and some lube and walks over to me, body shining from perspiration. A loud snap and the cap pops open, the sticky liquid coating his fingers before he sits in between my legs. Iâm already balling the sheets in my hands, licking my lips and anticipating to crumble at his touch. His cold middle finger teases my entrance. Itâs tingling, almost painful with build-up. Thereâs a sharp sting when he enters one finger, pumping slowly with his other hand tracing my abdomen. I sigh in relief at the sensation, eyes fluttering shut. He introduces a second finger, leaning down and peppering my hips with kisses, arm moving faster and faster within me. My chest jolts at his fingers dancing atop my rib cage and reaching my jaw, his thumb outlining my bottom lip. To his surprise, I take it in my mouth and begin to suck lightly
âFuck,â is all he can breathe as I moan onto his finger. Eventually, he slows his pace before removing his fingers, eliciting a whimper from me and a smirk from him. I hear the crinkling of the condom wrapper as he tears it open and slides it over his cock. Propped on his arms at my sides, he leaves me with a glossy stare before settling back on his knees and grabbing my thighs.
The head grazes over my entrance until he thrusts idly about halfway. My knuckles turn white, clutching the bedding and hissing as I get used to the pressure. In a couple of movements, we groan in unison when heâs fully inside me. It feels like a bolt of electricity shooting through my veins at the sensation. He quickens the pace with each advance, holding my waist tightly.
I can barely see his face, making out small details: a single hair is curled on his forehead, brows furrowed close together, an expression of pure zeal in his eyes and mouth. My legs wrap around his hips and he balances over me, arms by my ears and chests becoming parallel, sweat exchanging when they graze each other.
Iâm becoming overstimulated, grunting with every one of his thrusts, face turning red. I start shivering, getting close and panting. Stroking myself quickly, my back arches as beads of white coat his chest and drip onto my stomach. I collapse underneath him. Maxâs hands find mine among the chaos and bring them over my head, interlocking fingers as he groans into my shoulder.
In a short moment, his body begins to contort. I feel the warmth inside me when he exhales loudly and finishes, arms wobbling and fighting to keep him up.
ââ
We lay in our sweat. The only sounds I can hear are our heartbeats and Maxâs deep breaths next to me. Iâm on my side with my arm draped over his chest while he scratches the back of my neck. He kisses my forehead softly before pushing himself off the bed and walking to the bathroom. The light he turns on blinds me when I roll over. Shielding my eyes, he comes back with a damp washcloth, wiping himself before handing it to me and climbing back into bed, examining the contusions blanketing my throat and chest. I toss the towel on the floor.
âYouâre incredible.â Maxâs first words to me after everything are as soft as every kiss he leaves on my hand and knuckles. If I werenât drained, Iâd pin him back down and show my appreciation, but instead I turn back to my side and lazily embrace him as we lock lips for the millionth time. I donât want this night to end, but my head aches for sleep and he breaks to yawn. His head drops to the pillow, arm still around me with the other on his rib cage. My body curls into his, falling fast asleep.
He cares too much, but so do I, and I think weâll be okay with that.
