Mans gonna have a rainbow bitemark on his leg forever now #Not exactly easy to explain away #Also I think I accidentally established that Magic was a little toxic so he might have minor blood poisoning lol #Im sure he'll be fine #This is how all gay people are made but the fairies make you forget it #Actually while scripting this I realized how much this looked like the set up for some kind were-deer or were-fairy(??) plotline #which was not the intention but would be a hilarious direction to take the plot in LMAO #Also Id like to mention that flowers is fine. Fairies are functionally immortal aside from magic backup #Itll be healed up like nothing happened it no time #that being said it is still kinda pissed about the skull smashing #Dales got multiple broken ribs plush his leg is in shambled. #alternatively titled - when your papas have the audacity to cuddle without you #kazurei #buddy daddies #i like to think they didnt really do cuddles much except when rei has a rough night and kazukis warmth and safety is the only thing that #can let him get rid of the anxiety and nightmares #he wouldnt ask for it #it would be kazuki dragging him to bed at first #rei reluctantly but in his weakened will the times hes slept together with miri and kazuki has been the times hes somehow always #managed to go out like a light as soon as his head hits the pillow #even he himself doesnt understand and he doesnt attempt to and he doesnt realise #that its safety and warmth and protection and peace #and thats the only reason he would let himself be dragged to bed #but #eventually when you have had the taste of something so good in the place of chilling nightmares and restless darkness that feels no less #safer than the light #your heart becomes indulgent #and rei will gently and wordlessly ask for an invite to the warmth again #its fulfilling and blissful when the three of them are together #but with just kazukis body enveloping him against the night its a different kind of comfort. even in his sleep he would clutch onto it #thats a tangent right there huh.....anyway. miri would be absolutely betrayed in the morning when she finds them snuggled up #she gets her cuddle time with her papas too then #one big pile of a warm and happy family #yes this is pre relationship yes they would do that yes it is possible #if you got this far thanks i guess jajdjfjs ill hopefully colour this soon but i dont know really so im putting it up here #my art

#anethia collectibles #slay the princess #so ...#run 1 is i think the witch/thorns where we chose to be very stoic and silent throughout #run 2 is the paranoid/nightmare route (fav) bcus i wanted to get to ask more qns that round and somehow that ended up leading to my poor #little curious guy getting so broken and fractured :3 #run 3 is the hero/deconstructed damsel route ....#run 4 is the tower! and being a little shit who is by hell and highwater NOT kneeling down #run 5 is the spectre ... roleplayed as guy who is for reasons he doesnt understand just wants it to be over #and MEOW anyway #nobody told me this game was an rpg .....#but its cool ! i love romances :]#i think its awesome ... the way the hero and the princess are . changing over time . over with each reset #the way they find each other in the long quiet ...... its something so #i love it ...#the hero is so guilty for hurting the princess that he loves and he is scared of hurtign and he wants peace and he doesnt want the eternity #of it .... he loves the . shifting mound (?) is it (?) as much as he hates the work she makes her do as much as he loves todo the workforher #like a blank slate knowing nothing . except that broken wounds can be healed . and then he meets her. and then he meets her over and over #its a million meet cutes for the hero and the princess snd a sweeping tale of love and devotion and salvation in the long wuiet #how many more vessels do you need .....#and its fun to. at least how i played it . the things the hero picks up on #knowingly or unlnowingly with each run #its soooo #every 'remain silent' feels like a callback to the first libe #telling the voices 'itll be okay' after the brightness of the damsel snd that 'ill be okay' after the selfishness n suffering of apotheosis #or after the deconstructed damsel route . and then to the last run. becoming the damsel. seeing it throughcher eyes #and its so . this culminating ammassing of allcthese voices .... and it comes to it all being reflected at eachcother #spectre posseses hero and shifting mound and player becomign whole #anyway i like this love story i find it very tender and swet #... anyway ! this is . none of this is analysis these are just my ocs and the story i made up whilst playing

Played more Slay The Princess with a friend and learned something new about the New Dawn ending

My first playthrough included Razor and Moment of Clarity so when I reached that ending, all of the voices were there. I didn't realize that only voices you unlock in your 5 routes are present.

But even more interestingly, one of our routes was Happily Ever After. And we never got any other Ch 3s. When we reached the end, Smitten was Not There...

All of which is to say -

That is a REALLY COOL DETAIL!

Now I'm curious if Smitten can return if you get him back through another Ch 3 after HEA

And also if he stays gone if HEA is your last route where he appears, after having been unlocked in an earlier Ch 3

And also now I kind of want to try mapping out a playthrough that gets me all 10 voices without going through Razor/Moment of Clarity

And also if that kind of run can be possible with HEA as one of the routes

#slay the princess #slay the princess spoilers #i feel like an all voices + no razor/moc run would not be possible with HEA #since you get a max of 2 voices per (allowed) route and you only get 5 routes #so a run that loses a voice will mean having to get him back (if possible) over unlocking another voice in a later run #similarly Stranger is probably also out for this run since it doesnt have a Ch 3 #maybe you can squeeze out an extra route if you leave the cabin in one Ch 2? though not sure if that would keep the voice #(and also that feels like cheating xD)#this feels like a fun challenge :D #okay so far cheated and contrarian have to be ch 3 voices since razor/stranger are out #paranoid should still be okay as a ch 2 voice since nightmare can also lead to wraith instead of moc #(but i feel like he appears so often that he's better saved for a ch 3 xD)#pre-pristine cut Damsel & Prisoner also couldn't be done in one playthrough since doing one locks you out of the other Grey route #(not to mention both give Cold)#in pristine cut its fine as long as you branch to Cage for Prisoner #if you do prisoner -> grey you can't do damsel and must do witch -> thorn for smitten #since HEA loses a voice #(and obviously if you do prisoner -> grey spectre is out too)#and also paranoid since you have to do opportunist for smitten #and paranoid can only get you cold or opportunist

#my characters #she was (shocking to no one) a side character in a plot from forever ago and while i fleshed out her bg a LOT #she never got her own actual story ? the plot she was in had a lot of characters so her and her best friend myo were like... cameos #in other character arcs rip to she having her own #basically she had light powers and had a kind of whispy clear happy look (top)#and then the big bad guy corrupted her and she got dark powers #so myo and her start to think she is sick and then big bad shows up and tells myo that if he wants to help yuma - hed help #so he manipulates the two into working for the bad guys who id like to point out! think they're the good guys #so yuma keeps having cloudy and foggy memories and nightmares and she doesnt understand whats going on with her #and she tells myo who hasnt clued in yet and he tells her shes fine and shes too nice to do what she feels guilty for #and then after its all kinda said and done and the big bad dies the corruption disappears bc he was the one causing it #and at that point myo knows the horrible things hes kind of helped yuma do and the actual things yuma has done #and he goes to rem who a lot of people avoid since rem has mind reading and memory manipulation powers #and he asks if rem can help yuma forget everything bad #and rem - who is the unfortunate right hand of the big bad who feels so much guilt for everything he has done -#asks him if its what yuma wants cause it isnt his place to change it without her consent as well #bc rem was actually the one that yuma interacted with most outside of myo #but as far as actual plots and arcs rem was more important ? common? idk ? as a focus #so despite yuma having a lot of established background and drama she never had her own ... thing #but as the dark corruption gets to her she loses the clear stream vibes and is like an oozing oil spill #and it kinda festers into her becoming like an eldritch monster type being from the grief and guilt her conscious has #while polluted by darkness sooooo #she just kinda becomes a monster in the background of the plot its fine she gets better #and that was storytime in the tags bye

something that is like the baseline of amys entire character to me is that shes lonely. shes clingy and physically affectionate in a way none of her friends really are, shes always getting pushed aside and left behind. yeah, she helps out people she doesnt know because shes a nice person, but also, she sees part of herself in them. she wont leave someone else behind because she knows the feeling —and more importantly, hates the feeling. if she doesnt have somebody to stand by her and be there for her, then shes going to be that person for everybody else. something something her obsession with sonic is really just like a manifestation of that desire for closeness with someone, and she thinks that romance is the only way to get that. idk... this hedgehog can have so many abandonment issues.
