Back at it with some additional headcanons

Fischl and Mona are in a qpr

Collei and Wanderer are each others go to person to talk about sexuality. (While they have essentially opposite sexualities they’re both too embarrassed to talk to others about and they have weekly fuck Dottore meetings)

Collei likes romance in theory but in practice it doesn’t interest her.

Fischl also likes romance in theory but the moment she decided to try dating she aborted almost immediately.

Bennett had a small crush on Razor when they first met but he decide he likes being friends with Razor better. :)

Chongyun didn’t realize Xingqiu was flirting with him 50% because of being demi and 50% because he’s just dense. It took most of their friends to help break it through him.

Diluc and Jean had a bit of comp het when they were teens and dated. It lasted 3 days. (Jeans a lesbian)

While Venti has no interest in sex he has tried it so see what the hype’s about. He’s open to it if a partner wants to he just won’t be getting anything out of it other than connecting with said partner.

Forgot to mention on first one, I think most adepti are pretty neutral towards sex but they aren’t like asexual or anything. Xiao is the least interested out of all of them.

Most of the longer living beings tend to be more detached from romance and sex cause they live so long. Key word being tend to.

Albedo is not aro/ace but he does view sex more as a biological process than an act of pleasure that connects two people and in that sense he doesn’t really care. Also he too busy to date.

Hu Tao is sorta detached from romance and sex. She is a lesbian but it’s more of a yearn from a distance type of lesbianism.

A lot of the cast are too busy for romance. Mostly the ones with government jobs but even if Diluc wasn’t aro/ace he’d still be too busy to date. Beidou doesn’t want to date since she’ll be busy sailing for most of the time and she doesn’t want to have to leave a partner alone for so long. However she also has a degree of professionalism and doesn’t want to date her crew.

While the church of Barbatos allows for its nuns to be in relationships Barbara doesn’t want to be in one as she’s focusing on her healing, deaconess duties, and idol stuff. Also she’s just never found anyone she’s been interested in.

Most of the “inhuman” characters had to be explained what the aro/ace spectrum was.

Out of the aro people most aren’t interested in romance at all. Shenhe is open to trying and as mentioned Fischl tried and hated it. Razor is neutral towards the concept and Collei and Diluc flat out aren’t interested. Lynette could also care less.

sorry but i am SO deeply tired of the 'aphobia isnt real' arguments because they are literally always being conducted in such bad faith. NO there is not specific societal or legal discrimation against aces and aros BECAUSE we are asexual and or aromantic. you cannot hold specifically bigoted beliefs towards a group you do not even know exist. there ARE, however, underlying and deeply pervasive systems and beliefs that actively erase, dehumanise and make life tangibly more difficult for aro and ace people on a social, economic and legal basis. most of this is due to hyperinvisibility, the medicalisation of any nonnormative + misunderstood orientations, the elevation of romance + romantic structures as the most important aspects of interpersonal relationships in society, as well as the nuclear atomisation of the family. among other things. like. amatonormativity has never been ABOUT aromantic people specfically oh my GOD. its simply the underlying social belief that everyone is expected to be in monogamous romantic relationships and that those relationships are expected to the default centre of one's life. its something that affects EVERYONE! but within that it affects aromantic people in a specific and heightened way because of our inability to participate in it in a societally acceptable way. like these are not 'aromantic' or 'asexual' or 'polyamorous' issues specifically. these are theories and terms that originated within feminist + queer sociology studies! its all part of the wider underlying social fabric! aspec people are simply pointing out that we are often affected by these things in unique and often unseen ways.

the idea that we believe people actively 'hate' us for being asexual or aromantic is completely ridiculous. most people i know do not even know the definition of those words! so how could they hate me for it. they could however, for example, hold the pervasive + societally unchallenged belief that not experiencing sexual or romantic attraction is a medical issue or something concerningly abnormal in a human being + something i should get fixed. and its not uncommon that when you DO explain that its simply your orientation to them, they continue to medicalise it and see it as some sort of issue. genuinely so deeply tired of having to explain this to people time and time again when they only want to cherry pick the most ridiculous arguments to respond to and then act as if that's a majority held opinion in the aspec community. like i actually think we are aware of how society views us we're not fucking deluded and stupid. we don't have victim complexes we are just pointing out facts that yall are so desperate to ignore. Riddle prides himself on his discipline and logical thinking. But lately, that has been… strained. You’ve been busy, too busy to spend time with him. Sure, school has gotten tougher, and he understands the importance of academics, but you’ve been canceling on him repeatedly. When he finally saw you with that random first-year, the one practically glued to your side, Riddle’s patience snapped.

First, it was turning down a study session. Then, you bailed on afternoon tea. Then you declined a simple walk around the gardens. And yet, every time he catches a glimpse of you, you’re with that first-year! Today, Riddle watches from a distance as you laugh, giving this mysterious first-year a piggyback ride across campus. The student is grinning like they’ve won the lottery, while you look like you’re having the time of your life.

Riddle clenches his jaw. His grip on his book tightens as he glares. “How can they claim they’re too busy for tea, but they’re playing around like that?” he mutters under his breath. Trey raises an eyebrow from beside him.

“Riddle, you sure you’re not just—”

“I am not jealous!” Riddle snaps, his face turning an impressive shade of red. “It’s just… they’ve been neglecting their duties! And avoiding… well, our usual time together.” His voice falters slightly at the end, but he tries to maintain his composure. He has a reputation to uphold, after all.

Eventually, he can’t take it anymore. He marches up to you, his footsteps sharp on the cobblestones, and clears his throat loud enough to startle you.

“Ahem!” Riddle says, standing ramrod straight as you turn to face him. “I couldn’t help but notice that you seem to have ample time to entertain this individual,” he gestures stiffly at the first-year, “but none to spend with me. Care to explain?”

You blink, caught off guard by his formal tone. The first-year, still clinging to your arm, looks up at Riddle with wide eyes. “Oh! This is my cousin,” you explain with a small laugh. “They just transferred in, and I’ve been helping them settle in. Sorry if I’ve been distant lately; I didn’t mean to ignore you.”

Riddle’s eyes widen in surprise. “Your cousin?”

“Yeah, they’re family.” You ruffle the first-year’s hair, and they give Riddle a sheepish smile. “I thought I mentioned it before, but I guess I’ve been pretty busy.”

Riddle’s face flushes an even deeper shade of red. “Oh… I see,” he mumbles, clearly embarrassed. He shifts his weight awkwardly from one foot to the other. “I… may have misunderstood the situation.”

You smile, noticing his flustered state, and a warm feeling blooms in your chest. You take a step closer to him, your cousin still hanging off your arm. “Were you jealous, Riddle?” you ask teasingly, leaning in a little.

Riddle’s face is a mix of pride and mortification. “I— I was concerned,” he says stiffly. “As your housewarden, it’s my responsibility to ensure—”

Before he can finish, you press a soft kiss to his cheek, watching his face go completely red as he freezes in place. His eyes widen in shock.

“Thanks for worrying about me,” you say sweetly, pulling back to grin at him. “But you don’t have to be jealous. I’ll make time for you too.”

Riddle stands there, stunned into silence for a moment, his hand flying up to touch the spot on his cheek where you kissed him. He looks like he might faint. “I— that—” he stammers, his voice cracking slightly.

You laugh, waving goodbye as you start walking away with your cousin. “I’ll see you at tea later, okay?” you call over your shoulder.

Riddle swallows hard, nodding mutely. As you disappear into the distance, he touches his cheek again, his heart racing. “Tea later,” he repeats to himself, a small, dazed smile tugging at his lips.

Ace has been acting cool about it, but inside, he’s fuming. You’ve turned him down more times than he can count in the past week. First, it was “Sorry, I’m busy with homework.” Then it was “I’ve got this group project.” And now, every time he tries to hang out with you, you’re mysteriously busy. But somehow, despite your never-ending list of responsibilities, you always seem to have time for this random first-year who’s constantly glued to your side.

You’ve got the kid on your back half the time, you’re walking around campus like you’re their personal bodyguard, and Ace? Ace gets nada. Not even five minutes. The last straw is when he sees you giving the first-year yet another piggyback ride across the main courtyard, laughing like there’s not a care in the world. The kid’s arms are wrapped around your neck, and Ace can practically see the smugness radiating off them.

“Seriously? They’re too busy for me, but they’re out here giving piggyback rides?” Ace mutters, glaring. Deuce stands next to him, looking just as confused.

“Maybe they’re dating?” Deuce suggests, shrugging.

“No way!” Ace scoffs, crossing his arms. “I would’ve known. They tell me everything. I’m their best friend! Or at least, I was,” he adds bitterly.

The frustration eats at him until he can’t take it anymore. He storms up to you, hands on his hips, and blocks your path. “Alright, what gives?” he demands, his eyes flicking between you and the first-year clinging to your back. “You’ve been avoiding me like the plague, but you’ve got time to give this guy piggyback rides?”

You blink, confused for a moment before laughing. “Ace, this is my cousin! They just transferred here, and I’ve been helping them get used to campus.”

Ace stares at you, completely thrown off. “Your… cousin?”

“Yeah, my little cousin. Didn’t I tell you?”

Ace feels a wave of embarrassment wash over him. “Oh… uh… I guess I didn’t know that,” he says, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

Epel’s been feeling a bit neglected lately, and he’s not too proud to admit it. You used to hang out with him all the time—whether it was sneaking snacks in class or venting about your day—but now? It feels like you’ve fallen off the face of the earth. Anytime he tries to make plans with you, you’re too busy. But the real kicker? He keeps seeing you around with some random first-year who’s always hanging off you.

Epel’s frustration quickly fades, replaced by guilt for jumping to conclusions. "Oh... I didn’t know that," he mumbles, scratching the back of his neck. "I just thought... I don’t know, that you were too busy for me."

You give him a warm smile, stepping closer. "I’m never too busy for you, Epel. I’ve just been stretched thin. But I’ll make time for you, I promise."

don't want to derail the last post i reblogged so i'm putting a couple thoughts here. as an aroace, personally, for me they're like two parts of the same whole, and treating them as such is for me a way of pushing back against any expectation that i should have a concrete set of aro vs ace experiences such that i can leave one or the other at the door. that's part of why i'm so drawn to the sunset flag.

but at the same time, i relate to that post in part because i DO prioritize my aromanticism and see it as the more principal part of my identity (hello, aro blog here). and that's in large part due to social factors, because it affects my day to day life more acutely and yet is the identity other people are most likely to ignore or pretend is secondary by default. i think it's always important to leave room for those sorts of messy contradictions, so that there is never one "true" universal manifestation of aroace identity. i've written before, i think, about how i'm never interested in iterating on new labels or sublabels to "fix" what is really an issue of gatekeeping, stereotyping, and assumption-making.

that aside, i do reject any implication that everyone or even the majority of people who claim an aroace identity as a unified and non-separate identity are by default focusing more on the asexuality side of things. plenty of outside voices push that assumption onto us because they find our asexuality more palatable or normie to talk about than our aromanticism, and many of us have been pushing back against that for a number of years now (again, hi, aro blog here).

it's like, for me, i'm aro and i'm aroace, but i'm never JUST ace, if that makes sense. yes, i am asexual, but that is not the primary way i would choose to express my identity if asked in most cases.

might be an unrelated ask with how things are going on right now, but the only way i ever see traitor ace theory coming into fruition is if he destroys yuu's way back home because of how his feelings will boil over (since he thinks being vulnerable is uncool). i've always tried to convince myself that his silly tsundere moments are yume bait, though i really can't deny the fact that yuu is literally everything that his ex-girlfriend is not. they've watched a horror movie together from idia's lab sr (and sending grim all alone to get snacks???) in playful stage, they ride a roller coaster, and if you tell him you like it, he suggests going again again (just the two of them without grim???) bro is not slick with how attached he is to mc.

I have my own thoughts on Ace traitor theory (which you can read here)! To summarize, I don’t believe in it. If Ace betrays us at all, I think it will be in a trivial capacity (like he does something stupid that the rest of the group disagrees with, like taunting Malleus to attack him) and without malicious intent.

He may think being vulnerable is uncool, but I don’t think he’d take an action as drastic as destroying Yuu’s route home no matter how emotional he got. (That feels more like the stuff I see in angst and/or yandere fan works.) Ace gets mad and acts out, yes—but it tends to be in situations where he feels like being has been wronged, not to hinder the people he cares about. His character and his actions the entire story have done nothing but demonstrate that he values his friends and will be there for them until the bitter end, even if he whines about it the entire time.

And well 💦 when it comes to “is this platonic or romantic”, I always default to “it’s up to individual interpretation”. TWST will never give a “canon” ship for Yuu because that would impede the self-insert mass appeal design of the blank slate character. Not everyone wants to perceive X (in this case, Ace) as a love interest. Not everyone wants to perceive X (again, Ace in this case) as a friend. Therefore, there’s always going to baity lines to feed the yume crowd (Michard voice: give me your ur wallets) but lines are also kept plausibly deniable (framed as “jokes”/nor serious) or ambiguous enough to be interpreted either way.

In Ace’s Suitor Suit vignettes, he says this about his ex: “She said the thrill rides were too scary for her […] She vetoed all the action and horror flicks. Hanging out was just plain boring, so I stopped contacting her as time went on.” And indeed, Ace engages in the activities his ex refused with Yuu. They’re watching a horror movie together in Idia’s Labwear vignettes, as well as riding roller coasters and other thrill rides in Stage in Playful Land. Yes, you can interpret these as romantic since they sent Grim off by himself to get popcorn and want to ride again by themselves.

However, that’s not the only possible interpretation, and nor should it be. It could just as easily be argued that Ace and Yuu were just hanging out as friends in a “kicking back with your bros” kind of way (regardless of whatever gender Yuu identifies as). Watching horror movies and going on exciting rides are normal things that friends could do together. There is nothing inherently romantic about those acts by themselves. It could also be said that Ace is lazy and constantly trying to get out of work, so of course he’d pass off the job of getting more snacks onto someone else. The ride thing is innocuous too—maybe the others just aren’t feeling another round, while Ace and Yuu are still on that adrenaline high and want another hit of it. And again, it’s probably framed as wanting to do activities with Yuu specifically to help foster that parasocial relationship and create a sense of bonding with the player.

Of course Ace is attached to us and likes to hang out. We’re his friend, and that much has been established since the prologue. We are naturally a lot closer with him by default compared to several of the other guys (with maybe a few exceptions, like Deuce). Whether you see Ace and Yuu’s relationship as anything more than that is up to the individual!

That being said, I’d rather not talk in terms that imply one ship is “better”, “absolute”, or “more supported by canon” than others 😅 Not just for Ace x Yuu, but any ship, really. It unintentionally frames the discussion like a competition and leaves some people out of the talk if they don’t vibe with it or have different preferences, y’know?

In regards to the whole "The writers said Ironwood sacraficing his arm means he is giving up his humanity" thing?

I think that they are 100% talking from Ironwood's perspective there.

Now hear me out.

Ironwood is one of the people who most dehumanizes Penny. Yeah sure he's superficially 'nice' when everything is going his way. Be he explicitly had her made as a weapon and the moment its more convenient to treat her as a tool than a person he does so.

Ironwood is fucking weird about his prosthetics. He is always trying to hide them until they are too bulky to cover up with clothing. He's clearly deeply uncomfortable with them and defaults to blaming them for his own behavior.

Compare & contrast to other characters. All of the heroic characters constantly emphasize Penny's personhood and even when disagreeing with her never start couching their language in commands but convincing arguments as they would anyone else.

What's more, Yang, Maria, Fox, Pietro & hell even Tyrian all wear their prosthetics or disabilities very openly and without shame. The shows framing, theme & narrative do not present these things as some kind of loss of humanity or otherwise as a negative. If "Prosthetics eat your soul" was a thing the writers actually felt, it would be more obvious.

Note: I am unsure whether the writers regard Penny as disabled, so I didn't put her with the others.

Penny's new body. Much for much-ness is made about Penny "Becoming a real girl" as though the show hadn't consistently treated her as one from her first moment on screen. & while ignoring the fact that her new body was clearly a magical/Aura construct given it was made up of wobbly green energies under a scan not flesh and bone like other characters.

Even if we ignore all that, when it comes to her new body and that whole angle, while she did show an appreciation for her new tactile senses, she was also shown to be far more vulnerable & generally to be struggling with the new body & it ultimately led to her fall.

This is very much not on brand if we were meant to regard her mechanical form as some kind of problem outside of how others used it to mistreat her.

One of Atlas's core themes' is dehumanization. The people pf Mantle are dehumanized into a faceless mob, a few city blocks that can easily be crushed beneath Ironwood's heel.

Cinder Fall was "adopted" into child slavery where the rights of her abusers to own and harm her always took precedence over her humanity.

The Ace-Ops are trained to regard themselves, their fellows & everyone else as inherently expendable. Cogs in a machine that can be replaced and should not be cared for or mourned.

& most integrally, when Ironwood sacrificed his arm so he could beat Watts. When he had Watts dangling over a lava pit & said he would sacrifice anything to beat Salem. Watts smirked. Because Watt's knew Ironwood's penchant to view harming himself or others as "Ruthlessness" and thus pragmatism was alive & well & would destroy him. Which it did.

The 'other' statement. There is one other line people point to, namely Yang's V8 line, regarding "The mechanical bits are just extra" as somehow ableist. Even ignoring as I said before that I am unsure CRWBY even regard Penny as disabled, or as equivalent to a person using prosthetics. The fact is, I can only view taking that statement as dehumanizing Penny by virtue of her mechanical nature as at best, misinterpreting Yang's statement.

Seriously, they are talking about the fact Penny will still have a soul. IE the very metric of personhood that's used to define every person in universe! It'd be no different if she was made of clay or cloned flesh.

Conclusion. As I said above, if the writers really felt that way about prosthetics, it would be much more overt than one off hand statement that very much seems to reflect Ironwood's thinking not the writers. Ironwood thinks giving up his arm and replacing them with prosthetics is something that makes him less human, a trait he explicitly admired in/projected onto Salem. It makes so much more sense for the writers to be commenting on Ironwood';'s thought process here given it thematically does not align with the rest of the show at all otherwise.

We were fed great with the twins Sygna Suits today~!

Something I always love is when we’re fed great content the entire fandom wakes up and goes crazy over it. No matter where. I saw japanese cheering as well!

The default colors of their Sygna Suits are obvious, but I’m also wondering how their EX Style might look…

Also from the preview they definitely throw another curveball at us with how close they are, yet teasing us basically with PLA in the background.

You know I misread that last ask but now I'm curious, which of the yutus look like which parent more? And what are some distinctive features some yutus have?

Well, I try to leave things like hair color/texture and skin color up to the reader. Not everyone looks like me so if I just base the way Yutu looks off of me it'd be sort of isolating I think.

There are some things I think the various Yutus would take from their parents though so make of this what you will, and do not feel bound by it if you don't like it

Heartslabyul

Riddle's Yutu is shorter than his father, I like to think he has similar facial expressions. They pout and scowl the same way. I think he would have similar strands of hair as Riddle's little antenna that behave the same way when he's animated.

Trey's triplet children are all very tall, Yushi is a head shorter than her siblings and Yutres is the tallest. The three of them all have some issues with eyesight, Yutres is as bad as her father, Yushi doesn't need glasses until she hits highschool and Yutu is able to get away with only reading glasses. I like the idea of them having darker colored hair but that's just me.

Cater! Yutu takes more after Yuu physically, but his voice sounds very similar to Cater's. They have similar laughs and smiles, maybe due to having a similar sense of humor but you suppose he wouldn't know.

Ace! Yutu... I sort of like the idea of him being a copy paste of his dad. He has Yuu's hair and skin tone, but the build, eye shape, even his nose are the spitting image of his father. Ace is super smug about it until the kid learns to talk back.

Deuce and his mom both have dark blue hair and bright blue eyes, but other than those two features I think Yutu would take after Yuu.

Savanaclaw/Octavinelle

The beast men and merfolk are a lot more complicated due to their inhuman appearances, in general I think that these Yutus would take their color schemes from the animals their fathers are based off of, but things like hair texture, body shape, and physical mannerisms would be taken from Yuu.

Leona! Yutu's hair looks more or less like a mane, and it is on the darker side similar to his father's. He is naturally tall and muscular, though how much so is dependent on Yuu.

Ruggie is smaller and has a tendency to hunch over, the same goes for his Yutu.

There are many colors of wolf, so Jack's Yutu does not need to be a carbon copy of him, but the color scheme does stick to what he would look like if he could turn into a wolf.

The twins are moray eels. There are a lot of different colors of morays, I'm particularly fond of the polkadot ones, but they both have a streak of black in their hair. I like to think that their Yutus would have a streak in their hair of Yuu's natural hair color in a similar space. I also like the idea of them inheriting their father's heterochromia, but with one eye that is the same color as Yuu's and one yellow eye.

Azul! Yutu is more or less a carbon copy of his father in his merform, but his eye color and hair texture come from Yuu. His skin color is tricky, but I would default to it being the same as Yuu's, just with an unnaturally cool purple undertone. He is bulkier and taller due to needing to maintain a degree of stamina and physical strength to use his unique magic.

Scarabia

I think Kalim's Yutu would have his eyes and hair color, but he looks a lot more like Yuu, which makes his father very happy. He has his father's laugh and smile, and he really enjoys doing both.

I like to think that Jamil's Yutu inherits his hair. He is just as obsessed with taking good care of it as his dad is, but other than that I don't have much sorry.

Pomefiore

In general I think if a character has an unnatural eye color it would trump Yuu's, so Yutu is getting those lovely lavender eyes of Vil's. I think he would also get the long lashes, but that's because I enjoy drawing those.

In Rook's case I gave both Yutu and his older brother Rook's eyes, both color and shape, because I like them but also his unique magic is related to his sight (sort of) so I like his genes being very determined to pass that feature on.

Epel's hair and eye color are both things I think would trump Yuu's, and I think he would be on the shorter side.

Ignihyde

Yahoo you know your boy has sharp teeth and that rgb enabled fire hair. I think Yutu Shroud's eyes would be yellow too, but he likes to style his hair like Yuu's it helps him feel closer to them.

Diasomnia

Malleus! Yutu does eventually grow in small horns and black scales, but his hair color is the same or similar to Yuu's. His eyes are the same as his father's and he has some sharp canines. Princess Tamago sort of looks like a clone of her dad, but she has the same skin color as Yuu. I'd like to think she has their eyes, and that this bothers certain people in the senate but filled her father with joy.

Lilia is short, his Yutu is short, they both have the same very cute eyes and little fangs. He will dye Yutu's hair fun colors when he gets older, assuming Yutu hasn't decided that's cringe.

Silver's hair is silver due to blessings from the fae, so while Yutu doesn't have that (at first) I think his son would get his eyes

Sebek's hair color and eye color are passed on to Yutu, but other than the colors he looks a lot like Yuu in a twist of fate that doesn't annoy him as much as it would have when he was young and in denial.

I think Rollo! Yutu would be very very tall and have his father's rbf. His eyes and hair color would be the same, but his facial features and mannerisms come from Yuu so he doesn't look uncannily like his father until he's much older.

Of course and as always, it’s as possible for all of these boys to be that bad and also equally possible for them not to be, and for someone who loves darker themes and dub/noncon it’s interesting for me to write about it, because I have to fight the urge to yell ALL OF THEM and call it a day lol But also! I’ll try to think about it (kind of) rationally, so let’s go through the list!

(I’m only writing about the tops this time, not because I don’t think bottoms are incapable of raping, but rather because this particular set of bottoms isn’t, in my opinion. My bias, as always <3)

So yeah, three questions: who has this kink/actively thinks about it; who would actually do it; who has done it.

Ace – not really, I don’t think his mind goes that way at all. He did watch some porn with pretend rape before and thought that it’s kind of stupid and isn’t hot at all, but something did tingle in his brain and he did keep thinking about that one porn for weeks after watching it. Still, normally he wouldn’t do it...

Trey – just thought I’d mention this man so we could point at him and say “shame” once again. He is haunted by his kink. He hadn’t done anything yet though, and he doesn’t think he could. Who knows? It’s always a battle in Trey’s head.

Cater – he does have a little bit of this kink. The power and control aspect speak to him in a very unexpected (for Cater himself) manner. He isn’t as haunted by this kink as Trey, but he does fantasise about it sometimes... If it’s just in his head, it doesn’t hurt anyone, right?

Ruggie – nah, I don’t think he overlaps with this kink in any way shape of form.

Jack – no kink, but his instinct does take over sometimes, so there is always a risk that he could lose control and do something that could be at least described as dubcon. I think the deep shame that he is feeling over this could morph into weird enjoyment though, so maybe he’ll get himself into a Trey situation at some point...

Azul – he doesn’t really think about these things, so while he isn’t aware of it, he does have a kink. He is even more into power and control of it than Cater; in general, Azul is a sucker for destroying someone. But in practice, he would only do it if it’s a part of his twisted convoluted plan. Otherwise, it would just be a waste.

Jade and Floyd – I try not to write about both of them at the same time, but: yup. Both of them have it, both of them would do it, both of them has done it. Sometimes they act together, sometimes they do it separately. But they also don’t consider it as big of a deal as some other boys: in a lot of ways, it’s pretty much their default state...

Kalim – I know we all love darker twists for Kalim, but nah :) Look at him. He doesn’t have this desire to break, ruin and dominate. I wouldn’t call him 100% innocent, but I also don’t think he has either desire or guts to pull off something like that.

Rook – I will once again remind everyone that he explains his friendship with Trey by saying that birds of a feather flock together. No matter how much Trey insists that he is the normal one, neither of them are normal, and of course Rook finds the idea of rape hot in a sickly poetic way. Would he do it? Absolutely. Has he done it before? Well, that’s a secret...

Ortho – AI!Ortho doesn’t have kinks, but he does have phases during which he tries to mimic certain behaviours, so no one is 100% safe. For now though, he is a good boy! And human!Ortho probably wouldn’t necessarily have this kink, but he is one unstable boy, probably the closest to a yandere out of everyone in twst, so he could definitely do it. Although I think this would put him in a bit of a different category...

Sebek – this kink is a little sapling that is desperately trying to bloom in Sebek’s head, but he is pushing it down with all of his will. He doesn’t want to think about it and he doesn’t fully understand it, but it feels indecent. Not even because it’s non-consensual, but because it feels dirty... and makes him lose focus every time he is being extra aggressive with Silver during their sparring and Silver makes an unexpected sound or looks at him in confusion. Lilia – yes, yes and yes. Well, he used to do a lot of fucked up shit when he was younger, and he does have the biggest body count in the entire cast, and he absolutely didn’t ask for consent every single time (with anyone other than royalty of course). I would even say he only started asking for consent relatively recently... But the more “consensual and proper” Lilia becomes, the more this desire cements itself as a kink in his brain. Is it nostalgia? He does fantasise a lot... especially when some brat pisses him off or acts in a way that is annoying <3
