A hc/theory of mine is that in pjo ambrosia and nectar work kind of like steroids, and people who take ambrosia repeatedly for a long time get a boost to their growth and also muscle growth.

Which is why my personal headcannon is that Clarrise and some of her brothers are way too tall for their age, sex and physique.

This is also why I believe Clarrise literally towers over Percy who is 6,0ft(185cm)(sort of cannon), while her mother was 5,00(headcannon). And while Percy isn’t short or anything, he never actually got that ambrosia boost because of the regeneration powers he has, so while Clarrise was consuming ambrosia daily at the limit of the ‘demigod safe’ Percy was just going for a swim.

Any serious, violent-less argument that they have from afar looks like Percy is 8 and is arguing with his older sibling about who gets a bigger bowl of ice-cream, despite them actually having a convo about what strategy they’re going to use for capture the flag because the hunters came and those two want to beat them.

Just imagine the comedic and chaotic outcome of this…

why is cabin 9 specifically so cursed. what's up with Hephaestus and curses. Beckendorf dies and they get cursed. Fire-power Hephaestus kids are bad luck. Their dad owns the Junkyard of the Gods (everything in it is SUPER cursed). There's random cursed items just left abandoned in Bunker 9. Apparently Hephaestus/Aphrodite/Ares relationships are inherently cursed. who hurt them.

Played more Slay The Princess with a friend and learned something new about the New Dawn ending

My first playthrough included Razor and Moment of Clarity so when I reached that ending, all of the voices were there. I didn't realize that only voices you unlock in your 5 routes are present.

But even more interestingly, one of our routes was Happily Ever After. And we never got any other Ch 3s. When we reached the end, Smitten was Not There...

All of which is to say -

That is a REALLY COOL DETAIL!

Now I'm curious if Smitten can return if you get him back through another Ch 3 after HEA

And also if he stays gone if HEA is your last route where he appears, after having been unlocked in an earlier Ch 3

And also now I kind of want to try mapping out a playthrough that gets me all 10 voices without going through Razor/Moment of Clarity

And also if that kind of run can be possible with HEA as one of the routes

Then, earlier this week, I came to the very disturbing conclusion that the children of Hypnos and Nemesis (Cabin 15 and 16) are the cousins of Cronos, the aunts and uncles of Zeus and his siblings, and the great aunts and uncles of Zeus’s children.

Clovis and Ethan are Percy, Nico and Thalia's great uncles cousins thrice removed. Yikes.

The one I am currently working on is the Hermes cabin & Hermaphroditus, Tyche, Palaestra and Angelia

(fun fact: Tyche in actual myth isn't a Hermes kid. But the guide to Apollo speak at the back of the Hidden Oracle calls her a daughter of Aphrodite and Hermes)

So....

The big three are gonna be the last ones hence why they aren't on the poll.

Cabins such as the Athena cabin wont be in this series because Athena is mythologically a virgin goddess (the closest thing she has to a kid in myth besides her heroes is Erichthonius)

The Hecate cabin wont be here too because mythologically their siblings are:  Circe, Medea and the monster Scylla and pjo-wise their sister is Lamia.
