New Tiers Subscriber Tiers (April 2023)

I've decided to update my tiers! The main changes are: -All tiers are now mirrored on my ko-fi, so you can pick your preferred platform when subscribing -There's a new 3€ tier for early art and timelapses -The 5€ and 10€ tiers now have more rewards -The physical rewards will be shipped every 3 months instead of monthly, you still you receive the same amount of prints and stickers as before! hello! i realize i'm a little late to greeting you officially, but i've been doing a lot of farming recently - and i've been getting a LOT of letters, which is wonderful. being able to talk to so many people and see what's going on in other places is always wonderful. i love making new friends!

i do hope that you're doing well. i made a little bracelet for you as a greeting gift, too - it's made of emeralds that i found in an old chest of mine. there's no villages nearby that i can access, so i thought - why not turn it into something pretty? and so i did! i hope it fits..

anyway, how is life over there as a postmaster? what's been happening recently? and what's your favourite part about the mailbox system?

["Snail mail, huh?" Pearl murmurs, as she accepts the envelope from the crow. She tosses out some spare seeds from her farm to it before taking the envelope inside to read.]

[With a gasp of "Oh, lovely!", Pearl immediately puts on the bracelet before continuing. When she's done reading, she sends back her own envelope, with a few pitcher pods and torchflower seeds enclosed alongside the letter.]

Thank you very much for the bracelet, I absolutely love it. I'm guessing you can't get sniffers if you can't reach a village, so hopefully these seeds help add a little variety to your farm? Just be aware you can't grow more with bonemeal.

Being postmaster is hard work, but it's very rewarding! I've had to clean up some mailbox messes lately, but it's no sweat. I always feel my best when I'm helping someone else– that's probably what I like best about the mail system, that it's helpful to others.

Speaking of the mail system, I see you're sending your mail by crow– I don't know where exactly you are, but if we at the postal service can get a location, we can try setting you up a mailbox if you like!

I’ve been doing snail mail on and off for about 15 years now, and I’m so happy to be picking it up again. As an adult, it can be challenging to find the time and space for it, with family, friends, the household, and everything else. But when you finally make it happen, it’s such a rewarding experience.

hello! your art is so lovely and inspiring. i had a quick question about your patreon if you don't mind: for the snail mail (regular and supreme) nsfw tiers, are the physical rewards sent nsfw, or do they just allow for the nsfw posts in the patreon feed? i'd love to see the nsfw art digitally, but am unable to display nsfw pieces currently so i wanted to clarify that before choosing a tier. thanks for your time!

yes it's the first one !! physical prints are all safe for work and the same across the snail mail tiers, and nsfw images are only shared digitally!

the patreon with a snail mail reward system is pretty sensible for me to consider since I know people who pull this off succesfully, but I have to admit it must look hilarious that my kee-jerk reaction to an online social network winding down is to immediately revert back to the postal system

I used to get my contacts at a discount from my optometrist but apparently they stopped giving the discount bc now acuvue has its own rewards program which would be annoying on its own but it turns out that you have to APPLY for the rebate via SNAIL MAIL. I HAVE TO WRITE A CONFIRMATION CODE ON MY RECEIPT AND SEND IT TO KALAMAZOO IT MAKES NO SENSE AND I HATE IT HEREEE!!!!!!

Back in the early days of my list making I used to have a Self Care Sunday. I did this every week, went offline, disconnected and F&F were given instructions DND me this day unless it’s an emergency.

I used to get Sunday blues (still do) and I thought having this ‘lazy day’ would help me feel better about the week ahead. It did not. It gave too much space for ruminating and actually reinforced low mood.

I no longer do this on Sunday, instead its Self Care Saturday and it feels entirely different.

Friday I stay up later, I absolutely chill that evening, I have a lovely lie in Saturday morning, relax in my PJs and completely decompress from the week past. I avoid putting anything on my whiteboard list and I do whatever my mood desires that day.

I have found this switch up to be very benefitical. On Sunday I now prep for the week, instead of getting shut down by Sunday blues I empower myself to be ready for what the week will inevitablly throw at me. I still hate Mondays, the influx of emails and snail mail begging for my attention with an unwarrented urgency. Life getting back into fifth gear and forcing me to interact with it’s mostly busy nothings. Setting up my week on Sunday has been a personal game changer. I feel a little more prepared, with that pre-Monday reset. It gives me a time sensitive focus (playing into my ADHD brain). I take plently of breaks, ensuring to pace myself and get the dophamine satisfaction I am well armed at the end of it with a reward based system after ticking those check boxes. The key is not to overhwelm youself; under task, over deliver.

This is now my Sidequest Sunday.

Throughout this I still use my fridge whiteboard on Sunday and my pomodoro analogue timer to makesure I pace myself. I use the downtime inbetween to do any online tasks like editing my Monday food delivery and ensuring I have enough food plus budget on my spreadsheet for the week.

Everything is bitesize, rewarded and satisfying.
